Central Park Coffee House in Wakefield

£3.20 for an instant 'cappucino'! The menu didn't state the cappuccino was instant. I was also informed that there was a card surcharge for orders below £5, which I believe is not allowed. I then tried to pay with a £20 note, but there wasn't enough change in the till. I then asked for the card charge to be waived, which was agreed to. Ultimately, I think the menu needs to clearly state any card surcharge, and whether the coffee is instant or not. There is an instant coffee option on the menu, but the implies the other coffees aren't.

Just bin to central park cafe meet the new owners very friendly and welcoming food waz really good would highly recommend it to any 1 and will be trying a Sunday dinner this week

I don't know her name as she refused to provide it but she is short 5'5-5'9 with brown to dark hair and me and my wife was extremely shocked in her behaviour, rudeness and the lack of customer service skills shown. I will discourage anyone and everyone I know in the town of Castleford to avoid this cafe based on this one individual. Disgraceful and disgusting.

Thankyou so much for having us all yesterday. I msg Charlotte to book a table for 10 for our day service after bowling we headed to Central Park where we was greated with a smile and amazing friendly staff who went the extra mile to speak to all our service users and take their own order. We all was well fed with beautiful homecooked food. Charlotte even went extra mile to give one of our clients a pillow which he hugged for rest of day💞 Thanks for making us feel at home x We will be back

Lovley little cafe. I love the decor. It is clean and has friendly staff. It is a bit difficult to see if it is open, as it is hidden a bit behind a car wash, but has a car park around the back and the entrance is through a 'pre loved' furniture shop. It is certainly not a cheap greasy spoon café. We have been twice now. First time was just coffee and we sat in the armchairs by the window, second time we had a food and it was very good and atmosphere was very relaxed.

I was starving and I ordered the breakfast. I am still starving, the food was mid. The bean portion was ridiculous. The bacon has enough salt to kill a man. Sausage is ok. Egg is ok, but you can’t mess that up. The toast was stale. All of the food over spilt before it got to me. Hope you improve good luck!

Recommend calling in for a full English, it's got to be one of the best in the area 👍
