What an incredible play, always vibrant and busy, great place for a meeting, the staff are always friendly. But the Flat White Art in this place is out of this world, you won’t regret ordering a flat white here if you like that strong yet smooth flat white. Absolutely top class and amazing.

Visited for the first time after Covid lockdown. Something went wrong with Coffee Bean. First it's no longer open on weekends. Second - cleanse level went down and latte coffee is without taste and milk topped only. Strange direction as was one of our favourite coffee places. Hope will improve soon to previous level

Possibly the best sandwich of my life. Cajun chicken, chorizo and spicy cheese. Lovely peach iced tea and even lovelier staff.

Clean pleasant environment with friendly staff. Good selection of drinks including a bean bar with a selection of coffee beans to choose from. This choice is well worth the visit and highly recommended.

Good place to have cup of coffee and talk to friends, if you want to work in your laptop, while drinking coffee, Central Bean Coffee House is ideal. There are delicious desserts as well!

Very good latte with impressive coffee art.

Unhygienic and not a good idea if you have any allergies to specific milks. The lad making drinks did not properly clean his workspace and most importantly his steam arms when making drinks. We ordered one drink with soya and one whole milk, yet the same steam arm was used without even a wipe or purging it. Sitting watching him for over half an hour, the arms were not purged once and there was no effort to clean the frankly messy workplace, even throughout the ample downtime he had. He was plump, wore spectacles and had a number ‘6’ tattooed on his right forearm, though I doubt it’s an issue with him personally, rather poor management and general hygiene standards. I would rate zero stars if I could!

A tea shop in Newcastle on the Gallowgate street I don't think I need to explain why it's called Gallowgate. ANYWAY the tea shop very nice well spaced out sitting areas, with comfy seats especially next to the windows so people watching is easy.

Good to support independent coffee shops. Good Carla to chat and enjoy the coffee.

My favourite coffee shop in Newcastle, while it is slightly expensive it is well worth the price. The staff tend to be friendly but the star of the show is the drinks, amazing coffee better than anywhere else and the food is great as well. This is my go to coffee shop and would highly recommend to anyone!

Very central and convenient, good coffee, plenty of choice of cakes (and even savoury) although this time I managed to resist. However there's a lot of background noise (victim of its own success?) which can make meetings difficult.

This is one of my favourite coffee shops in Newcastle to do work. The food is great and the iced coffee very good. Prefer it to nearby brands such as Starbucks and Costa. Staff friendly and service excellent.

Always love this place for a great coffee, slice of cake and catch up with friends. Also has good free WiFi and power points located throughout the ground floor letting you plug in when you need .

Quick service and cheaper than Costa.

This is quite simply the most relaxing coffee café I've visited in the UK in years. Really like the décor and the comfy seats; puts Costa Starbucks and Caffe Nero to shame. Coffee blend/recipes are good as well. great place for an informal business meeting or just a great place to relax and get away from the PC and your workcrowd. The counter staff are friendly and helpful and they keep the tables clean and clear. This café franchise would travel well and would successfully out compete the aforementioned national brand outlets. Central London business districts need this coffee outlet now!!!

Always went to Neros which we liked bit this place beats the lot.Great coffee and Hot chocolate. Top Class staff.Very friendly. Our number 1 spot from now on.

Fantastic coffee house which I visit regularly. The staff are helpful and very knowledgeable on their drinks and will suggest things they think you would like. The coffee is a lovely blend, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. A good place to sit and enjoy your drink at a lunch time.

Flew over from ireland to visit Newcastle for our first time. Stopped off in Central bean coffee house before our visit to the St. James's stadium. Lovely peaceful place, had the best experience in Central bean coffee house. Great customer service from the guys. They waited patiently until I chose my sandwich.. Fussy eater!😂 Had the nicest tastiest coffee too! ☕😍 Very friendly, kind and full of smiles. Well done Ryan and Tim 👍

I don’t do this often however I was furious and angry at the Terrible customer I received today from central bean coffee house I felt I had to leave a comment. Horrendous customer service from a customer service assistant called Hayley at central bean coffee house. She was rude and abrupt. Didn’t want too help nor assist whatsoever. She treated me as if she couldn’t be bothered, I was a hindrance for her and all I was doing was ordering a coffee in a coffee shop.

I had a business meeting here. I ordered a caramel latte and plain croissant. Those I can't fault. The only fault I would give is one of the members of staff. She had already served the person in front of me when I arrived and continued to talk to him. Both noticed me as I stood waiting to be served. I was completely ignored as they continued their conversation. I did the awkward foot shuffle, moved closer to the till and when this didn't work, I simply stared at the older blonde lady behind the till. Finally she noticed me but I think this was more because the first customers coffee was ready for him from the other barista. Hallelujah, I was served. I understand conversations with customers however it would be polite to say "one moment whilst I serve this customer" and then continue the conversation afterwards.

A pleasant cafe with an nice ambience and very good service. However it falls short in one respect, the coffee is very good but is always served WARM unless you specifically remember to ask for it hot, and even then it still isn't hot enough!! C'mon Central Bean sort this out!

Nice Bree, great to get out of the weather for five

I went here to get a coffee before going to my lectures at the nearby business school. I wanted to try this place since I saw it on Foursquare and thought it would be a nice change from mainstream brands such as Costa or Starbucks. The mocha I got was very nice one but it was a bit more expensive than in other places. The place in itself looked nice and the seats appeared to be comfy but as I did take out I couldn't try them

Ok. A bit pricey. Make sure you ask them to make you coffee hot or its bearly warm.

One of the best coffee shops I have visited. The coffee is lovely and is presented to you by Friendly, professional staff. It has a great selection of sandwiches and treats available at all times. Several sofas are great for relaxing on and the free WiFi is a nice bonus.

The coffee and food is amazing..however there is a staff member named Hayley who has the worst customer service ever! I have been served by her more than once. She looks unhappy to be there. Is never smiling and looks very unprofessional. She has terrible attitude. This coffee shops looks the part but the one staffs attitude ruins the whole vibe of the place. I am no longer going to bring my services here.
