Lovely restaurant the food was gorgeous and service was really fast

Great welcome. Food was fabulous. At the end of the meal a waiter was rather abrupt. Grabbed empty bottle off the table, knocked over the pepper pot and tried to get us to pay the bill after we'd already paid it. He did apologise after being challenged about his abruptness.

Perfect location for a romantic valentines meal. Wonderful gluten free menu. Lots of choice. Food was delicious, service was prompt and friendly staff. Prices reasonable.

Amazing restaurant. Service was excellent, couldn't fault anything. The lasange here is the best I've ever had, I would strongly recommend to anyone.

Very busy restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime, but food and service were excellent.

The staff were great and the food was very tasty indeed. I think we only waited a wee while for the food but otherwise it was superb.

It's the first time dining at Cena. It has a nice welcoming atmosphere about it. We were seated at a nice table and the service was very good. The choice of food had a nice selection of meals and the gluten free menu was also good. The service was prompt and the waitress was helpful. The food itself was very nice and I especially enjoyed the antipasti. Overall we enjoyed our meal at Cena and would recommend it.

Visited 3 times in the last twelve months. Sadly this week was the worst. Food was poor, which is a real shame as its usually decent.

Having a coeliac in the party always makes it quite difficult to find a safe place to eat - but Cena was excellent. Great gluten free options, and very conscientious staff who checked on orders. No aftereffects either, which validates the caution. Very tasty food and great portion sizes. A thumbs up from all in the group. Thanks Cena.

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing, the staff are attentive and friendly. Although was really busy we didn’t experience any delays and were dealt with quickly and professionally.

Lovely restaurant. My only constructive criticism is I don't like it when the tip is added to bill. I know it's optional but some people may not realise or feel obliged to pay it. I always tip but I like it to be my choice and not something you feel obliged to do.

The staff were helpful and efficient without being overbearing. The food was ok. Fondant potatoes could have been buttery and the panna cotta less grainy.

6 of us visited on New Year's Eve lunchtime. All meals were tasty and served reasonably quickly. Only downside was the waiter who was very professional but lacked a smile.

Eaten here previously and really enjoyed it so returned and weren’t disappointed.

Feared the worst when we arrived. We were seated at the last free table and the place was jumping! But we needn’t have worried - all of our food was well presented and absolutely delicious. Friends with us were visiting for the first time and said they’d definitely return. The staff were very welcoming and worked well together. Yes we did have to ask to order more drinks but given just how busy the place was that was no problem to us at all. Looking forward to our next visit in the new year.

The food was lovely, though not a huge selection. This however is my second visit within a fortnight and on both occasions, the service has been poor. The waiting staff were uninterested, very slow to take drinks orders, then a long wait before returning to take meal orders. Very littler interaction, seemed more interested in leaning on one another near the kitchen. It's a shame because this restaurant has a better reputation than that. Unfortunately I'm afraid that we are unlikely to attend or recommend based on the above

I met up with my cousin who I hadn't seen for 15 years, the food was excellent, we talked and had a few drinks. The staff we do polite and courteous, I had no idea we were there for six hours, it was a wonderful experience! Will definitely be back! Thank you so much to all the staff at Cena

It's very nice and the prices are fair but they charge a 10% service charge which was said to us with an option of not paying but with the prices of eating out now I thought they were good to give us the option So for the quality of food wine and atmosphere I would recommend the place I hope it stays open because its getting harder to find a decent restaurant

We had a lovely evening at cena. Waiters were charming and helpful. Meal was outstanding.

I specifically requested a table downstairs but was seated upstairs, the man that greeted was dismissive and said not on the booking. Didn’t ask if reason for this or try to resolve the issue.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a lovely table upstairs, by the window. (NB no upstairs toilets, so if anyone in your party has mobility issues, it's worth bearing this in mind and requesting a table downstairs). Delicious food, original menu, and a very good coffee too. Service a little slow, but then it was a busy lunchtime close to Christmas, so understandable. Overall a really lovely experience- we'll be back!

My pork loin was dry, my friend’s lasagna was claggy. Pizza ok, drinks expensive but good ambiance.

Great service throughout. We weren't altogether happy with the location of our original table, but the staff were more than happy to reseat us elsewhere with the no fuss at all. The food was awesome and the staff were all fantastic. We have been before and we will absolutely continue to visit. Thanks all.

Always reliable. Had the two course fisso menu. Arancini excellent and pizza very good.

The welcome was good and we had a lovely table next to the window. The service was quick. We had a pre dinner drink, good. The wine we chose was good and priced fairly. Our shared antipasto was good as a starter. I had sea bass which was delicious but the tomato sauce completely overpowered the fish and I told the waitress. Nothing was done about it. My partner had the pork which he said was quite dry. I had tiramisu which was poor. I wasn’t asked or I would have complained.

Fantastic meal, the food, service and wine were superb. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. The gent behind the bar really knew his wines. I would recommend Cena for their quality of food and service.

Good service, good food but the red wine was poor. (Grottarossa ) we had requested a Merlot and we were told it was kind of just the same, but it wasn't.

Food overcooked and poor service

Family meal with children. Service was very good, prompt and efficient. Nice range of menu options all of which received positive comments for taste. Fixed price menu weekdays until 1700 had good options for most and the white bean houmous was very tasty. One mark off for the pasta with aubergine ragu as the pasta was a little soft and there was very little sauce.

I had the porchetta as I’d had it before and enjoyed it One of my friends had Lasagne as she believes that Cena serves the best lasagne she had ever tasted. My other had the salmon with pasta. All meals were all we needed for a lunchtime.

Brilliant service and good ambience. Delicious garlic bread. One of our party was disappointed with her pasta dish - the pasta was too thick and there was little evidence of smoked salmon in the sauce. Our waitress said she would pass that on to the chef.

Didn't ask if we were enjoying our meal or if we wanted any extra drinks. But other than that such a lovely place/vibe and could not fault the food.
