Really good food, did 3 courses that were all lovely. Chicken supreme and the plaice were the main courses we had and both were enjoyed with a great selection of vegetables. Got to mention the staff as well who were really friendly. Prices ok as well

It's a great location, staff very good but food bland. Everything was presented will but the food flattered to deceive. We ate our first evening but went to a local pub on second night. If we stay again we would not book the hotel restaurant and go to a local pub like the Star Inn.

Staff pleasant, service reasonable, however wine did not appear until after we had started first course, and wrong wine came. First courses melon sorbet served with fruit - melon, starfruit and pineapple not ripe, sorbet tasted of orange, kiwi and orange ripe. Pork rillette was fine. Second courses Barnsley chop very good, fondant potato and the stuffed under cooked tomato were luke warm, beans okay. Asparagus served with new potatoes and 'poached egg salad', potatoes had that grey re-heated look, not hot and didn't taste very nice at all, asparagus very woody ends, poor taste, eggs poached perfectly however the salad consisted of very bitter cherry tomatoes and some greenery, all in all a very poor dish. Third courses Four good cheeses, chutney -( did not try,) served with poor quality crackers and grapes that had seen better days and celery (did not try). Cheesecake okay. Coffee - very very hot however had no taste at all did not drink it. The dining room was cold and had no atmosphere. Interior of building looking very tired and dated. Very poor value for money and to be charged an extra £4.95 for cheese and biscuits an absolute rip off in my opinion.

We stayed here, as a couple, in September for a two night stay, on the first night after travelling we had, included in our payment, a three course meal in the Cedar Tree Restaurant. My husband ordered a starter and we both ordered a main. We waited and waited while other diners around us had their starters, mains and deserts, still no food arrived and after an hour of waiting we decided to leave! When we were asked if everything was ok by the Receptionist on our way back to the room we explained the situation and rather than trying to remedy the situation she offered us a bottle of wine! despite the fact we hadnt eaten. We had paid for a three course meal that didnt arrive. The breakfast was poor quality, this looks like a great Manor house from the outside and the grounds are beautiful but the quality of service and food is poor. I wouldnt recommend staying or eating here.

Booked for wife's birthday hotel was stunning. Service was incredibly slow and food cold and of poor quality, sirloin steak for an additional £7 on top off the £30 a head set meal came on a huge pile of chips!

My husband and I had a birthday treat voucher to have a meal here. It's a set menu with about 6 choices for each course. I didn't quite fancy any of the dishes on the main courses so I asked if I could have the chicken with the lamb jus as I don't like mustard sauce. They were very accommodating. The food was very nice and the staff efficient and friendly. The restaurant was busy but they coped well. In the lounge area after where we had our coffee it felt a bit like a library where you are frightened to speak. Some atmospheric background music would be helpful. A nice evening tho.

The food at the Cedar Tree Restaurant at Dumbleton Hall was of a lovely quality, beautifully cooked and presented, though not cheap.

Very good meal - 3 courses plus coffee for £25 (pre ordered with room booking). Deep fried goats cheese, roast lamb, forest fruits panna cotta with a choice of 5 options on each course. Food was well cooked and well presented and there was plenty of it. We have eaten here a couple of times previously at lunchtime and were very happy on those occasions too.

Dumbleton Hall is a large and lovely old manor in a truly beautiful setting. Quintessentially English, even down to the adjoining village cricket pitch as you enter the grounds. It is tired, has seen better days and would benefit from some investment and TLC. These things can sometimes be turned around to become part of the charm. Unfortunately not in this case. There was a loud wedding party when we arrived, the food was average but expensive for what it was and the restaurant was entirely lacking in atmosphere. Food was ordered from a set menu, and the single price option did not allow for having anything other than 3 courses. Whilst parked in the car park, my car was damaged by another car - most likely someone from the wedding party. Although very apologetic and helpful, the duty manager was unable to help to any real extent because the hotel's CCTV system (which overlooks the car park) was out of service.

6 of us had lunch at the the Dumbleton Hall. Special offer £20 each with wine at 50% discount. Wine was excellent! Meal was good but not special, service average and we were quite cramped even although rest. was nowhere near full. Good value with our special offer but not if we had paid the full price.Excellent setting. My wife was surprised that given the setting and area all the flowers were artificial. Charge for using credit card was very surprising

The restaurant is set in the most delightful ambiance of a old country house, Dumbleton Hall. The grounds are worth a closer look and the Hall apparently has a clientele that are regular visitors. We found the service and dining room of an excellent standard to make our evening a pleasant one. Our food was good rather than outstanding for the type of setting we were in.

We went for dinner and unfortunately picked a Saturday night when there was a function on. The music from the function ruined dinner as did the constant shouting of the staff through the side door. The fact that the function was a lucrative earner for the hotel took priority from the diners that night as waiters rushed through the dining room shouting for extra things for the function in a panic. The food was distinctly average. Very badly presented starters and mains, very very average pub type food. The deserts however were great. Overall a waste of time and money and we will not be returning

Thought we would treat ourselves to a luxury 3 course Sunday lunch for a special occasion, in the Cedar Tree Restaurant.Well what a mistake we made.Briefly, my starter of a duck salad with orange had no dressing, and one piece of fresh orange. (Am fussy I know!)"Cotswold" roast beef, was overcooked, stringy, and tasteless. We did mention this, and the waiter said other people also complained ! Vegetables soft, especially the roast potatoes. They should be hot and nice and crispy ?Puddings OK for a 3 star Hotel. It is not easy to complain, or mention problems when trying to have a nice romantic lunch, and whilst being treated at the same time.Such a shame as a beautiful Hotel and in amazing surroundings. After we paid, by card, and leaving the Hotel they told us we had not paid for our pre drinks, which was not professional and put a dampener on our "special occasion".

This review for Badham Pharmacy at Aspen medical centre. Really needs to train staff. I would give O star as staffs were V v rude. There were two young ladies in front, one with light blue frame glasses and another one with silver nose pin, they were shouting to me for no reason even I did not ask how long I need to wait for prescription, I was just in queue and was noticing them their work and they were showing much attitude to customers and were arrogant. I had two another customers waiting in queue for prescription and Badham Pharmacy staff were taunting me by looking at me that we will have to wait as people are going to McDonald's and KFC they obviously wait for half an hour so they will wait here as well. Even though my prescription basket was ready, I was looking that for appox 15 minutes and she was not giving to me. When I remind her basket is ready and it is there she said you have to wait as I am busy with another things. Why????? Even if, it is in front of customers how long it will take to give customers. They made me wait for so long. Such a ridiculous ladies. No manners to behave with customers. If doctor hadn't sent my prescription there I would have never go this Badham Pharmacy. Moreover she was expecting thank you from me, when i didn't thank her she was shouted " excuse me say thank you " Thank you my foot to such staff.
