Cedar Coffee Shop in Wycombe

On the odd occasion I deliver to various pubs and restaurants in and around Marlow, after hearing Chris Evans big up his favourite local coffee shop in his hometown of Marlow (on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show) I thought I’d pay it a visit on my way past.. Really nice venue, and very friendly staff, I just wish I had time to sit and relax there, I had a takeaway Latte and Salted Caramel Brownie. Absolutely scrummy! Will definitely be popping back in next time I deliver in the area.

Great service and food, cedar cafe has food for everyone and it’s delicious. We love the breakfast and lunch menus. We often visit this cafe and loved sandwiches, English breakfast and panini The coffee is perfect probably the best in Marlow in my opinion. The service is the icing on the cake always with a smile and chatty.

We had a lovely late lunch in this friendly well run cafe / restaurant. The service was fast and efficient, the staff friendly and attentive and the food quality high. Prices were also very reasonable

Favourite spot in Marlow whether this be for a quick coffee / breakfast / lunch or sweet treat. Delicious coffee and delicious salads / sandwiches The staff make this place - they are so sweet and friendly and whenever I come in I feel like a friend who’s known them for years as opposed to just a customer! It is family run ( I believe) and it’s just delicious!

Almost want to gatekeep this place as they have the best coffee! Food is always to the highest standard, impossible to pick a favourite (and we’ve tried most of the menu!). Only thing better than the food and coffee there is the team who always make you feel welcome and like family. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

We love going to cedar coffee shop whenever we are in town not only is the coffee the best I have ever tasted anywhere the food is delicious but visiting is like having coffee at a friends house always friendly welcome the shop is spotlessly clean great place to visit

As promised, my wife and I visit on a regular basis for breakfast, brunch or snacks. The Cedar serves the best coffee in town, no matter what time of day the coffee is perfect. Service and attitude of the staff is second to none, they always courteous and nothing is too much trouble. All the years we have been going Ed have never had a bad time. Well done to all 👍

Cedar Marlow really feels like a home from home. The staff always welcome you with a smile and it always feels like they are genuinely happy to see you. The food is second to none, and all the ingredients always taste fresh. They’ve recently made some updates to decor and the menu and they’ve somehow been able to elevate somewhere that was already excellent. The coffee here is easily the best in Marlow, with a taste that can only come from well sourced, freshly roasted beans. This place is always my go to in Marlow, for breakfast, lunch or a quick stop off for coffee. It’s a must if you’re ever in the area!

Randomly popped in for some lunch. Ordered salmon bagels and chicken wrap. Was delicious! Service was excellent and food was lovely. Would defo be returning soon….the breakfast menu in particular looked very appealing!

We popped in for breakfast. We had an amazing breakfast roll, which was huge and absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and the sandwiches on display for lunch looked like they would be very tasty too.

Popped in to this venue as I had heard good things about this place and alway happy to support local business but £45 pound for 3 panini’s and 3 drinks unbelievable. I know there has been inflation but this is ridiculous.. won’t be returning as cannot justify these prices

Fabulous food and atmosphere. Called in for breakfast whilst visiting the area for a few days. Plenty of choices on the menu. All freshly prepared and served by pleasant and friendly staff. My hubby and I chose the breakfast bap, which was amazing g. Very tasty sausage, bacon and scrambled egg. (Poached egg, an alternative option) Spotlessly clean premises. Plenty of tables and seating. Will return again for another breakfast before heading back up north at weekend. Definitely recommend. 5*

I am reluctant to add to the praise for Cedar as it will make it even more popular and more difficult to get a seat whenever I want to visit. But it would be unfair to Ralph and the team to deny them their well-deserved praise. This is my go-to place for a healthy breakfast or lunch. All the food is freshly prepared in front of the customers so you know what you are getting. The menu includes all the usual cafe staples (full English breakfasts, paninis, cakes, etc.) but also has good healthy options (e.g. scrambled eggs/avocado/smoked salmon/sourdough toast, roasted vegetable salad with goat’s cheese) often made to family recipes. Ingredients are carefully sourced and locally wherever possible. The staff are friendly and efficient; turnover is not a lot (unlike many coffee shops), they know their regulars, and so there is a great sense of community. It is the best cafe in Marlow by a long way. Long may it continue!

Lovely first time experience. 3 generations for a Saturday family breakfast. What great customer service from all the staff. Food and drink tasty including best espresso macchiato I’ve had. We were able to book for 9.30 which was a godsend as The Cedar is popular...

Visited today with my son for a quick snack…. 2 panini and 2 small still waters came to £27…. and the service was slow….. How they can get away with charging these extortionate prices I don’t know…. I appreciate everything has gone up in price...

Breakfast, eggs were poached and undercooked. We thought it was expensive for what we had, the staff were friendly but being perched on stools in the window because we had a dog didn’t improve our experience.

Best coffee and best ever sandwich! Had panini packed with the freshest filling, Haven’t enjoyed lunch food as good as this in ages. Staff were lovely and service good, will most definitely return the next time in Marlow.

We regularly enjoyed their wide menu very varied items from baguettes to grilled halloumi salads with humus etc Also delicious cakes. However, it is a small premise and since lockdown lifted, and its reputation became more widesoread we've been unable to get in! They don't do bookings, so we no longer go there. This is probably the best reference they could have, and it is deserved but fortunately for us there is lots of choice in the town.

The nicest & friendliest staff, best coffee, delicious wraps, panini’s, toasties, salads, jacket potatoes and cakes. Independent, family run cafe in the centre of Marlow. So lucky to have this in our town.

Just love this family run cafe. You can see the passion and care that the team have. Food is great and portions are very generous and then there’s the coffee which is really good! Great to see an independent business thriving.

Visited after noticing the great reviews. Ordered a falafel wrap and was given meat. When I mentioned this, the manager came over and denied that I had ordered falafel, despite me explaining I was a vegetarian. Started to look around and ask other customers/staff if they'd heard me order it which was belittling and rude.

Highly recommend this little gem in Marlow. The decor is absolutely amazing. Ralph and the team (and they really are a great team) are always so friendly and the service is faultless and top of that they make the most delicious sandwiches .

Love popping in for takeaway or stay in coffee and cakes. The pastries are the best in town and the staff are always really friendly. Have only eaten here a couple of times but the food is always fresh and tasty. My children love the smoothies.

Found this place on TA and went in for a coffee. What a friendly bunch of people and great service. Coffee was probably the best I've had from a cafe in a long while.Had a good look at the food on display when we left to pay and decided to return later for a light lunch.Once again, great friendly service and the food was freshly prepared, presented well and tasted really good. See pictures. This place is a delight, it may not look flashy from the outside but who cares when what is inside is so good.We will return next time were in Marlow. Well done one and all.

I love coming to Cedar Cafe whether it’s with my family, friends or on my own. Service is second to none, I always feel welcome even when it’s busy (which is often is because it’s so good) or I have the pram. The people that work here are so friendly. The food is always so fresh and tasty, the falafel flatbread is one of my favourites. My children enjoy choosing a cake from the display! As a family we also love the wraps for takeaway. The new decor is really nice, what a way to come back after lockdown. Speaking of which takeaway Wednesdays were a highlight in our house!! Thank you for staying open!

What an amazing little place. First of all they’re dog friendly which was a massive bonus for the little guy who managed to get himself some bacon! The chicken shawarma wrap was absolutely delicious and the caramel latte and hot chocolate were equally as nice. Very friendly staff who were extremely helpful with fast service. Will definitely be coming back when we come back to Marlow! Thank you all at The Cedar.

Discovered The Cedar a couple of weeks ago and have been back a few times already! Lovely coffee & delicious sandwiches. Very friendly staff who can’t do enough to help. My new favourite place in Marlow and I would highly recommend to anyone in the area :)

Super place! We went for breakfast and it was so good we went back for lunch the next day. Service with a smile, so friendly and a lovely atmosphere. The salads and sandwiches were phenomenal, made with lovely Italian meats. Definitely recommended.

This place is the only place for coffee and brunch / sandwiches in Marlow. Family business that works it socks off not only in the local community but also to make you feel like one of the family after just one visit. Ralf and his crew work so hard perfecting their craft and the quality of the produce is second to none. Authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean ingredients and bread which cannot be beaten. Be careful though, the cocktail of being welcomed, high quality fresh food and the best coffee in Marlow means you will be hooked. Thanks to you all for being our favourite place to go. A jewel in Marlows crown! If you come to our lovely town then a visit to Cedar is a must! The food is freshly made and served, always with a smile! I absolutely love it there, the staff are unbelievably friendly, the dishes are delicious, nothing is too much trouble! Take away is also available and I always look forward to my lunch when I buy it from Cedar. The coffee is the best I’ve ever had and I rarely pass without popping in for one, and a yummy baguette to devour at my desk!! I cannot recommend more highly! Do yourself a favour and give the lovely team a visit! You won’t be disappointed

Popped in via a recommendation and did not disappoint. Had the Taleggio cheese chestnut mushroom sourdough Toastie and it was amazing ! Followed by a nice cappuccino and pistachio blondie which was to die for ! Friendly service and nice antmosphere will definitely be back with friends. ☺️

As a local business owner I visit various coffee shops in Marlow, on pretty much a daily basis. The Cedar is great, and as a regular, definitely one of the best. The staff are always friendly, even Ralph, the menu is regularly updated, and you can tell that they are passionate about trying to create quality food from the ingredients and adventurous combinations they use. When you see top chefs, who own famous local restaurants, popping in for their lunch, you know you’re in good company!Always helpful, you can phone in an order for pickup, or happily have a little chat to them, or to some of the other regulars, whilst they make you up a fresh lunch or quick coffee. Can’t recommend enough.

In a town oddly lacking in cafes of this type, we ended up trying Cedars. Bad decision. Most of the menu was off, although it was only mid-afternoon. The staff seemed neither sorry nor sympathetic and were, in fact, visibly bored by the prospect of serving us. They were not actually rude but that's the most I can say. The remaining items on the menu looked ok but were extremely expensive. Mind you, the prices were written very strangely. For example, items costing £9.50 were shown as 9.5. I couldn't decide whether this reflected some strange idea of style or a feeble attempt to disguise the exorbitant prices. Either way, it made us cringe.Two of our party of five decided not to eat. Those who did had wraps and, in the interests of fairness, I have to report that they found them very tasty.However, over-all, deeply unimpressive.

We were very disappointed with our visit today. This used to be my favourite place in Marlow, but we will not return. After being seated and having our order taken our drinks came in good time. We then waited, and waited, and waited for our food. When it had not arrived after around 30 minutes we asked where it was, it was clear it had been forgotten, even thought the cafe was not particularly busy. We then waited around another 10 minutes when it finally arrived. But, I had ordered a baguette, but what arrived was a wrap. The waited then said they had run out of baguettes, so they had done a wrap, surely in 40 minutes they could have taken the 5 steps from counter to our table to ask if that was ok? I am afraid that was the final straw and we refused the food and left. As I said, we will not return, this was not only disappointing but also very upsetting as it was our first trip out for several months. They did give us the drinks on the house, but that was little comfort.

we went into to partly shelter from the rain and also to top up on mid afternoon coffee, plus some cake for the hell of it. good enough and very friendly staff too.

Ralph at the Cedar worked with me to cater for a TV shoot in the local area for around 30 people per day. The menu had a huge variety of options and everything was equally delicious. Everyone at the cafe was extremely accommodating and Ralph was always quick to help if I had a query or a last-minute addition to an order.

Popped in for brunch, my first ever visit. I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. Really friendly & attentive service from the moment we entered and our food was delish. Tempted to have a walk and come back for lunch!

After encountering rather poor service on my arrival at the cafe and then making my order, my food arrived and was very good, however my whole experience was marred by an extremely rude member of staff who challenged me by shouting across the cafe as I left, questioning if I had actually paid my bill, this was done as I was walking out of the cafe, which was very embarrassing. I confirmed I had paid and I left the cafe. I was rather upset at being challenged in such an aggressive and unprofessional manner. Although the food was very nice, I will not be returning to this establishment again.

What an excellent spot for lunch. Was recommended by a close personal friend and was not at all disappointed. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff, not to mention delicious food. Would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous cafe and we were so glad we tried it. Food was delicious and well priced, the staff were very friendly. As with other reviewers highly recommend the Lebanese wraps. We had the lamb kofte and an amazing vege option (kibbeh I think). Worth going back to Marlow for this alone.

Visited Cedar this morning for brunch. We had Lebanese flat bread and a BLT in a wonderful baguette, all washed down with very good coffee and orange juice. The service was extremely friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommend Cedar to anyone who fancies a snack, meal or cake!! We’ll definitely be returning for more! Oh, and they allow dogs!

When visiting marlow went to find somewhere to go for lunch and came across this place. They had so much choice of different foods (Baguettes/Bagel/Panini/Salad/Wraps and they also had a great drink Menu. The cakes were also very nice The service was good and been served quicklyDefinitely worth a visit

Saw this place on Instagram and thought I’d check it out. I just had a coffee which was nice, my boyfriend had a wrap which was really delicious. Cakes looked good too. Tables and chairs wooden and not the most comfortable. Nice place for lunch.

Lovely little cafe with an excellently priced and varied menu, with some Lebonese specials, one of which my wife gobbled up in double quick time. Friendly atmosphere and very clean’n’tidy.

Having lived and worked in Marlow for 7 years but never ventured into Cedar Coffee Shop, i now regret that and plan to make up for lost time over the coming weeks!Yesterday I came in for a quick bite with a 20 minute break before an appointment, and ordered the Lamb Kofta Wrap, and my wife ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap. We fully expected a run of the mill wrap like any other sandwich shop, but were taken aback by both dishes. The lamb kofta was a taste sensation! I'm having cravings for it already and already plan to visit again this week to satisfy my hankerings.The guys working there also made us feel very welcome there, even with everyone sporting our snazzy face-masks. No mean feat!

Went along to cedar for the first time yesterday with my husband and mother in law, we were just after somewhere to sit and have a coffee. We were greeted by warm welcoming staff and smiles all round. The food looked amazing so we decided to stop and eat too. I asked if they had many vegan options and a gentleman actually came over to the table and explained that pretty much whatever I wanted I could order, as they also had some bits not on the menu like aubergine and falafel etc. I chose smashed avocado on rye bread with mushrooms and he somehow made this simple snack into a taste sensation! Obviously very fresh and good quality ingredients but prepared with love and care. Hubby had the same on sourdough and mother in law had a generous slab of salmon on a bagel with 2 perfectly poached eggs. Coffee was fantastic, a beautiful blend too! We will definitely be back, this may be our new favourite place!

We visited Cedar coffee shop while we staying at the Crowne plaza, can't say nothing wrong or bad about it, amazing delicious fresh food, amazing helpful staff, we went back again before heading back home, i enjoyed the chicken shwarma wrap, and hubi enjoyed the salmon wrap too, the chai latte is delicious im craving it lol, definitely will be going back and definitely definitely recommend to friends and family.

I work close by and pass this coffee shop every day multiple times. Today I decided to give their coffee a go and oh my! I downloaded TripAdvisor solely to review them.The interior and exterior are both very well presented and clean.The staff couldn’t be more welcoming and the coffee (A medium latte with 3 shots) was amazing! I’ll be back tomorrow.

We were in Marlow on 3 March 2020 and wanted somewhere for a light lunch. We asked a local person for advice and were told that there is costa and starbucks. We wanted a local shop not a chain and were recommended to try Cedar. Very busy place - usually a good sign. We were steered towards a Lebanese wrap and a grilled Mediterranean panini. Both meals were outstandingly good. Service was quick pleasant and cheerful. Tables were spotlessly clean.This was a great find and we will be back later in the year.

We called in here for a Sunday lunchtime snack. I had a delicious baguette and my friend had a wrap, both of which were excellent - on the of the best baguettes that I've had. The ambiance was perfect with no loud music to irritate me, and service was extremely attentive, friendly and efficient.The menu was very extensive with a wide choice of items, all of which were very reasonably priced.I can thoroughly recommend this place and will certainly be returning when I'm next in Marlow

I have been going to this tea room for years. The team /owners are always welcoming and efficient. The quality and variety of food is excellent. Quick snack or lunch. Difficult choices, from English cakes to Lebanese tastes. Took a friend who had never been on Saturday and realised how good it is and how I had taken it for granted, hence the post. Very comforting great customer experience.

Not the ordinary cafe but delighted with the home cooked Lebanese dishes. Had mince lamb kofta and their meat meza. Utterly delicious! Next to Sainsbury at top end of town and parked behind the store with public toilets nearby. Great 2 hour stopover on our travels.

We stumbled upon this little gem and what a great find! A very cute little (but big enough) coffee shop serving the most amazing breakfasts, lunches and drinks. The food was amazingly presented and even though my own food (halloumi salad) was delicious, I could help but to continue to have food envy when I saw the amazing plates being delivered to those at surrounding tables. The staff were swift, efficient and extremely cheerful and friendly, despite their very clear heavy workload as the place was heaving - and rightly so - a real 'not to be missed' lunch experience - I will definitely return!

I arrived to a full and bustling cafe but wanted to sit with a friend in a quiet area as she was having an emotional day. One of the members of staff quickly picked up on my body language as I started to move back towards the exit having scanned the seating area. He asked us if we could wait for a couple of minutes while he checked the back. The table selected was quiet and allowed us to talk together while enjoying a delicious sandwich and good coffee. Everyone is busy but sometimes it’s the little things that matter, and that member of staff, made a huge difference to our day. Thank you Cedar cafe for your thoughtfulness ❤️

One word brilliant. Despite some negative reviews on record the staff are great and very accommodating. Ok it’s not cheap but we’ll worth it. Everything fresh and made to order. Recommend Armenian sausage wrap

Came here for our breakfast whilst visiting Marlow. It is good to come back to a place where the owner remembers you from your previous visit 18 months earlier. Friendly chatty owner. Excellent croquet monsieur and Americanos. Visit if you are in the area.

We recently discovered this lovely little coffee shop and will definitely be going back. It was nice to place our order on arrival but then to be served at the table, so no waiting in a queue (as in Costa). The coffee was delicious and on leaving I could see that the sandwiches (made freshly on ordering) looked very tempting. We will be back another day.

I visited this cafe to meet with friends, I was early and had never visited before but the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I heard them being friendly with other customers that must be regulars. What surprised me the most was that they were not pushy about paying straight away and it was nice to be in a place that trusted you to pay when leaving. Such a bonus as I really felt like I was on holiday! The menu has so many options but I decided on the panini which was so fresh, hot and delicious! It is obviously popular as it was packed. We will definitely be back soon.

The BEST coffee and food in Marlow , just had a spanking new refurb and they are always always smiling and friendly ! they remember things about you that you may have mentioned in passing , just wouldn’t go anywhere else for our weekly family breakfast/brunch , superb highly recommend !!!!

I visited this cafe a few weeks ago for lunch, it was very popular with lots of tables taken. A very extensive menu with lots of choices of sandwiches, wraps, salads and more. You can eat in or take away.

Been here numerous time and always good, coffee great, the poached eggs and bacon very tasty and the best cheese & ham toasty according to my son! Friendly and attentive staff, would recommend!

Cup of coffee & one bacon baguette was £8, for a small coffee shop that is too much, it was nothing special & service very slow, the baguette took around 15mins to arrive, so many coffee shops in Marlow offering better.
