Cecils Pizza & Grill in York

En 41 años en este planeta, nunca había probado una pizza tan mala. Faltan algunos ingredientes, lo que podría ser una bendición. La base era como cartón, los hongos estaban fríos y de una lata y la carne era más masticable que la de Wrigley. De alguna manera se las arregló para estar tanto mal cocido como demasiado cocido.

La comida pedida se olvidó de la mitad de la orden y cuando finalmente se recibió fue poco satisfactorio! La ensalada era un desastre la carne estaba rancia y el pan de ajo era insípido nunca tiene una calidad de comida tan insatisfactoria

I have always been a customer with them for years but not after Sunday night Absolutely horrendous restaurant to order from. There is a horrible nasty woman who is working there and is answering the phone. I found 3 pieces of hair in my food. I work in the council and I will make sure this will be reported immediately to health department in the council! You should be ashamed to be hirring such an ignorant person answering the phone and being rude this is England not where ever you came from Be careful guys when you order from Cecil’s pizza and Grill When I ordered last time the sauces were every where and there was an very respectful old man who explained to me that’s what you need to be hired not that idiot answering the phone and being rude and claiming we can’t get a refund. Be careful guys !!!

Absolutely horrendous customer service!!!! We have ordered from here about 5 times - the last time they got our order wrong but we gave them the benefit of doubt. We just ordered again and only received 1 item when we ordered 5 things. We called them but they refused to deliver the rest of our items or issue a refund, instead the manager screamed verbal abuse down the phone telling us we are banned from the restaurant and to never order again. The worst customer service I’ve ever received, the person on the phone didn’t even listen to what we were saying and we couldn’t hear over their manager screaming at us in the background. Order elsewhere, food has gone downhill anyway, cold, soggy and tastes absolutely disgusting - AVOID AT ALL COSTS, don’t give them your money they don’t deserve it, rude, awful people.

Ordered a spicy garlic bread online, listed as being a garlic bread with onions and jalapenos (other ones listed as having cheese but not this one). It arrived with cheese so I called and asked about this, I spoke with the Manager who was extremely patronising, constantly calling me darling and saying it's obvious that it comes with cheese, I explained I dont eat cheese and would like a refund, he eventually agreed and said a driver would come later to collect it. I left it outside but no one came. I called the next day and enquired about processing my refund (£10 so not a trivial amount) and was told they would not refund me as I had not specified on the order that I didn't want cheese, I explained it wasnt listed as an ingredient on the website, they were very rude, talking over me and not allowing me to explain. I said I was disappointed as I would no longer be a customer after this. Overall terrible customer service.

The quieter university now term time is over. The chicken wrap was tasty and quick. Lots of veg staff were friendly.

Bland pizza. Zero taste. For 7 pounds ( 9 inch ) I’d expect a little bit of flavour. Staff however are lovely! Not eaten anything else there yet and this could have been a one off!

The chicken burger ( priced at £8.50) was served to me raw, see photo. At this price i would have hoped that at the very least the food was edible. The staff did replace the burger after i returned however i’m not sure that was sufficient. Not the best food, not the best experience, don’t think i would chance it again…

York’s best kebabs by some margin - and shout out to the really lovely female delivery driver, who always manages to drop off the food just as I’m returning from the pub!

Excellent food and great service, it’s becoming a regular thing on a Friday afternoon with the lads from work . Well worth a visit

We made a big order (c£80) and everything was delivered on time and correct, with added freebies thrown in. Tasty food, would recommend.

An amazing takeaway!!!! Great customer service, everyone was so kind and friendly. Nothing was too much. The food was great too! Proper bargain proper nice as well. 12/10 will be going to cecils again :) Free lollies were a bonus!!!!!

There is something for everyone here if you fancy a takeaway. I like the feta salad and the potato salad, my husband likees the lamb shish wrap, one son has the burger and the other a pizza. The portions are generous. The staff are very friendly and we have always been welcomed.

Friendly efficient guy took my large order at 11.00am for delivery after midday for a family reunion with 5 young kids after lockdown. Mountain of juicy delicious varied pizzas arrived with extras.We had a feast. Everyone enjoyed it & I would strongly recommend.

Reggie Reggie pizza was disgusting - way too sweet. Very disappointing. Won't be ordering from there again.

On visiting my son at uni we decided to stop by and lunch at Cecil's before heading into town... We ordered a pizza, chicken burger and some chips... The food was beautiful 😘.. Really tasty... Beautifully prepared.. We cannot fault it in anyway... Prices were very reasonable... We will definitely visit this establishment again and again and again.....
