The best food in Harrogate pleasant staff, went for my 60th birthday 31 yrs married, we couldn't fault any of it had a couple meals here had a great night on both occasion, highly recommend you wont be disappointed 👍

First time at Cattlemen's Grill booked in for 6pm came in early to bring forward it wasn't a problem it was Friday 28th February so Friday 🌉 nights would be busy the lady behind the bar 🍻 first 🥇 class the food to die for delicious 🤩😍

Ate here last night & cannot recommend this place enough. We had sharing nachos & fillet steak. This was the best steak I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection 😋😋😋😋 The service was excellent too & all the staff were friendly & polite & not in your face 👍🏼 but there if you needed anything. Will hopefully be back soon 😁😁

Attended here with colleagues on a Monday pre large turf show in the town. It had come recommended - and genuinely did not disappoint. A young lad could not wait our table better, restaurant was busy but everything came on time, all together, beer was good, food was amazing. Boasted so much my wife wants me to take her next time - so looks like a journey from West Wales to Yorkshire will be happening again 👍🏻

Really good value early bird menu

If you are ever in Harrogate and enjoy amazing food this place is a must.... I can't recommend enough as this is our second night this week. Prices are great and drinks selection is very good. Keep up the good work guys we will be back again

This place keeps getting better and better. Food and service are amazing and by far the best steaks to be had in Harrogate. The gammon my daughter had was perfectly cooked and not at all dry like gammon can be.

SUPERB . Sirloin with a rack of ribs , wife had chicken breast with ribs. Absolutely amazing. Staff really friendly , quick service , excellent atmosphere. Only complaint they need beds for you to sleep off the excellent food. I've never left a review before which shows how good this was.

I recently dined at Cattlemen’s Grill in Harrogate, and it was an excellent experience! The food was simply lovely, and the staff added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I tried the ribs and steak combo, which was cooked perfectly and had a delicious, savory flavor that truly impressed me. The ribs were tender, falling off the bone, and the steak was juicy and flavorful. Overall, I'd highly recommend Cattlemen’s to anyone looking for quality grilled dishes and a great dining experience in Harrogate. I’ll definitely be back!

Went for a birthday treat for my other half. We always go to Harrogate and try somewhere different everytime to eat but after sampling the food here all I can say is we will definitely be back. I had ribeye and he had a rib and steak combo. Mine was cooked perfectly and the chips/salad was with dressing was ace. When the ribs/steak came, the ribs didn't look very appetising how wrong we was. They just fell off the bone and was delicious . Can't recommend this place enough. Definitely be back

Visited for dinner as a family of 4 whilst staying in Harrogate. Very nice welcome from the staff and seated quickly. Drinks order taken and arrived fast, some nice local beers on the menu. Food was very good and served promptly. Would visit again. Can recommend the sharing Nachos and steaks

Gem in Harrogate. On Mondays almost every restaurant is closed until 3pm. We were so lucky to stumble in this awesome place. The food was delicious. We all Loved our choices. The deco was cool. Especially the Sheriff jail room. I just want to go there and have a cowboy / cowgirl party on this room. Ross was a great waiter and looking forward to going there again.

Made a booking in advance but on the day I called and asked could we get the booking changed to an earlier time. The restaurant called me back and said that it was not a problem. When we arrived at our table the first thing we noticed was that the tables were very sticky, but this was probably due to the chemical they were using to clean them and not due to dirty tables as they were constantly cleaning the tables as people left. Firstly we ordered a small house nachos to share and as a starter there were ample for the two of us. We then ordered a Quesada with chicken and a full rack of ribs with the spicy barbecue sauce. The meat on the ribs just fell off and the salted chips that accompanied the ribs were really tasty but not over spicy. My wife said the chicken Quesada was delicious, as were the Margaritas she indulged in. The service was quick and polite and would definitely recommend going, as we would definitely return.

Great place with a great steak. Probably the best steak I've had, and I've had Michelin star steak. I had the 12oz sirloin and it was real top. Wife had the steak and ribs combo. Will defo be back again when in Harrogate. The service was excellent, place clean and drinks fresh. Can't argue with that can you! Keepnup the great work folks!

Amazing service, amazing food - I dont often enjoy eating at a steakhouse as I dont like my steak pink, I made them aware of this and it was cooked to perfection, best steak I have ever eaten the flavour was amazing. Will deffo be going back to harrogate for this place alone!!

My wife had a fillet steak and I had a serlion ,it was the best steak we have had in a long time, credit to the chef, cooking steak is not easy, and ours was spot on, we will reccomend to others, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely fabulous food, definitely one of the best steaks I've ever had. The puddings were lovely and I think the prices are good. The restaurant itself is ok but there's not much atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and the service good. Not sure why one star reviews are justified because they were fully booked or the restaurant was closed but Google said it was open!

We went in the day time on Friday. Our meal was amazing and the service was amazing I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Normally great service and fab food. As a regular with friends today we had a bad experience with a pushy short haired waitress being passive aggressive when taking our order. We walked out after this attitude happened not once but twice. The two gents that normally run the bar are gold, please teach your staff boundaries in their approach. She knew exactly what she was doing, and I corrected her on it and we all left. No entitlement here from us, we are down to earth folk and like Cattlemans normally! We simply will NOT tolerate poor attitude and rude service etiquette.

Stayed in Harrogate in July and found The Cattleman's Grill when looking around for somewhere to eat. We had a fantastic meal then, I had one of the best steaks I've ever had, along with some great ribs that day. Fast forward to today, 26th Aug, and we were visiting relatives in Hull but upon leaving to drive home we completely changed our route just so we could pass through Harrogate and have lunch at The Cattleman's Grill and we're so glad we did. My wife had a wonderful steak and I had a lovely piece of gammon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and as already stated, the food is fantastic so thank you for everything and we will definitely be back to sample some of the other items on the menu... can't wait.

Great food, reasonably priced. I had the sirloin. Kind of reminded me of the steaks you get in 🇺🇸 the taste and texture. Great service and they have a small outside seating area too for the summer 👌 I had a trio of brownies for desert, if you like chocolate brownies, I would defo recommend that!

As you can see from the photo, I had a delicious t bone steak with chips and salad dressing with a portion of mushrooms and onions to share, complimented by a steakhouse gravy, Would have loved to try the steak challenge but far too much food and needed 48 hrs notice only 1 hour to eat it 🤣

Great place especially for big eaters

We didn't book a table but they managed to squeeze us in, I'm so happy they did the food was amazing. I had the ribeye with pepper sauce and a side of mac and cheese. The pepper sauce was the best I've ever had 😋

Greeted with a warm welcome, got seated, and served very quickly. Got seated right next to the wall of fame. Food was very reasonably priced, started with the ribs that were very nice, they came glazed with a BBQ sauce and a side of coleslaw. For main, I went with the Mexican Wrangler burger. This was absolutely amazing. It was a really top-notch burger it came filled with america cheese and spicy chilli's and topped off with spicy beef and crispy onions. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant out if you're in the area

Went to get some food as it said open. Well it wasn't. Wanted nice burgers with my husband and walked there for nothing.

Came here on the Tues 25 june said it's open buts it's closed so sos 1* until we get the chance when it's actually open and yes Google said you where open

Great place for meat,went here after going to Harrogate Turkish Baths, We went mid wk so was very quite in there,however we was looking for good food not atmosphere, we wasn't disappointed either,wife...Nachos starter with full rack of ribs and sweet potato chips,me...chorizo and king prawn skewers with half rack of ribs,gilled chicken breast and chips...Nothing left on the plates! Lovely good,polite friendly waitress, food brought in good time! Would definitely go again if I the area! X

Amazing food and staff! As someone who is Canadian and has been to America many times for authentic BBQ, I can say this place is great! Very happy with the mains and the dessert, would highly recommend this place. Their 96oz steak challenge wall is also hilarious

We noticed that the restaurant is an independent establishment which told us 'this will be the place to go for an excellent steak' and we were absolutely spot on! The atmosphere was great, the food delicous and the staff were friendly. The menu was varied so a great all rounder if everyone in the group doesn't particularly want to eat steak - although it was cooked to absolute perfection so I would thoroughly recommend. Looking forward to a return visit, that's for sure...

Thoroughly enjoyed the service and my meal here yesterday, was in town to see my son off to his army training at the local college and chose the cattlemen's grill as I was craving steak. They didn't disappoint and would thoroughly recommend too. Decent prices as well so deffo can't complain!

My husband loves a good steak, so when planning a short return trip to Harrogate, found this gem and booked our table, from reviews, it looked great. It was amazing, hubby had the T-bone, I chose the 8oz sirloin with jacket potato, with the blue cheese sauce. Came out very quickly, piping hot and cooked to perfection, one of the best, mouthwatering steaks in a long time. I love a ribeye steak and I have a fare few and I have to say this place has given me the best ever - the chef needs complimenting as the ribeye was requested medium and that was translated from the edge to the middle where it can usually come out medium rare so clearly an excellent chef - the expected fat on my ribeye melted in my mouth which again is a compliment to how it was cooked - the size was exceptional and an excellent cut and the homemade chips only added to the experience

The ambience, food and service was absolutely spot on. Could not fault anything. Highly recommend this place.
