I ordered seaweed as part of my order but when I opened it there was no seaweed. They got the order wrong. It looked like some fried fish. I called them up to tell them and their response was "Sorry can n we give it to you the next time you order" What kind of customer service is that? A decent takeaway would have apologises, refunded it and then delivered it. I told them no it was not ok and I wanted the seaweed. The lady on the phone then said your seaweed will be an exchange and you need to hand the wrong item back to the driver. I said "Why? Are you planning to deliver this to another customer? I said if you are I won't be ordering from you again. She said no we would put it in the bin. I said I can do that at home. When the delivery driver came with the seaweed I showed him the wrong order and then put it in the bin. I would not oder again as this is the second wrong order and I honestly believe they do take back wrong items then redeliver the wrong items to the unknowing customer. Hardly appropriate in covid times and hence why I would not reccomend this take away.

Always have a good meal from here. Lovely salt and pepper chips. quick delivery and never had any issues.

Had a chinese take away from Cathy princess on Edleston road tonight could not even chew the beef so called them to say how bad the meal was and all they could say after 10 mins on the phone trying to make them understand what chewing ment was the chef always cooks the beef like that WTF so will not be eating from there again. What a waste of money. 😣 but the dog enjoyed.🤣

Never had a problem, always fresh and of great quality. A little more expensive than some but I feel that reflects the food. Order on a regular basis. Delivery is always prompt and never late. Keep up the hard work Cathay Princess

Food is good, delivery messed up but didn't mind this, but then the delivery driver was incredibly rude, rung the restaurant and they were exactly the same, friend order from here a couple of days ago same driver extremely rude to me again and I had not even ordered the food! NEVER ordering food again

After spending over £26 each time, I questioned the driver & he just replied with a sample NO. I have no problem paying for them just don't have false advertising. Owning a business myself I know how hard customers are to please, but false advertising is defiantly unacceptable.

Awful quality of food, took almost 2 hours to deliver, we had, salt and pepper chips (just tasted like soggy cardboard) 2 "Chrispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce" very poor and salt and pepper chicken wings, would be surprised if this was chicken

The time you have to wait is ridiculous and they have customer service skills.

Took nearly 2 hours . Rang them 3 times and told me different things each time and was still late . The food was ok but we spent over 40 pound as family were over and didn't even get anything free to say sorry . Won't be ordering again

2 hours late. Duck had one huge bone in it and loads of little ones. Crispy beef was filth burnt and dont even think there was any beef inside. Spent £30 and no prawn crackers. Do not recommend and will not go again.

Chinese food as it should be! Crab Meat & Sweetcorn Soup Barbecued Spare Ribs in Sauce Beef in Szechuan Sauce Egg Fried Rice : all cooked to perfection & delivered really quickly. first class Chinese food & service !!!

The chicken was cold when it arrived have order from here before and food was nice last time so was disappointed that my food turned up cold and unfortutly some of the food tasted undercooked

Arrived 45 minutes early and we weren't home so they left with our babysitter. Called restaurant to be told not their problem even though I requested a time. Management so rude. Do not order from here. Food quality obviously wasn't great after Sitting in the bag for 45 minutes. Total Waste of £30.

Unhappy with the curry which was basically water and under cooked mushrooms. Received flavourless Singapore chow mein which were also burnt. Salt and pepper chips were soggy and no flavour. Very unhappy for such a pricey meal

Cathay Princess is by far our favourite Chinese in Crewe at the moment. The food is always excellent quality and was delivered piping hot ahead of schedule, can't fault it.

Food did not arrive; restaurant extended delivery time by 30 mins to 1h 30m. By nearly 2 hours no sign of food despite it being flagged 'delivered'. Co-op ready meals now in oven. Save yourself the hassle and don't bother.

Be warned - They took our order even though they were over booked with orders (we didn't know at the time) - ordered 7.30pm arrived at 10.10pm!!! owner made out it was the delivery boy going slow, didn't compensate or apologise - too late to order from another takeaway. Took an hour & twenty mins to arrive so by that time the food was luke warm-cold. Pity as it was the first time we ordered and it could have been really nice if it was hot. Positives that the portion sizes were good and the delivery driver was friendly.
