Sunday lunch was appalling, tasteless and overpriced Carvey with limited choice. Extremely disappointed.

The restaurant had friendly members of staff, however not a great selection on their set menu as we were only able to choose from this menu as I booked a package deal within the hotel, however we were told we could choose anything else from the main menu as long as it totalled the same as the set menu, which was very nice of the management of the restaurant to let us us do so. Restaurants breakfast menu was good apart from the sausages can't say they tasted great, however had an option to have poached egg, fried or an omelette along with the main choice of scrambled eggs. Our main evening starter they had no houmous on the menu which we were looking forward to that starter. Overall a good service.

Ate here as it was the only close restaurant. I cannot say I was impressed with the food. Decidedly average in all ways.

It is the Marriott hotel restaurant , without special location or atmosphere in. The service is painfully slow , even to get the menu it could take half an hour. On the other side, the food is good and well presented.

Nice surroundings but an awful meal. Ok it was an rainy Monday evening but pub meals were served. Chips in a bucket, I was expecting more class. Also any chance of not having the staff cleaning empty tables with sprays when you are sitting next to the table, and if you need to restock the bar please don’t run the stock through the restaurant

Nice , well equipped restaurant inside the hotel. Good selection of freshly cooked food, not too much in the vegetable department - no greens. Service was good, and there is an egg station. Tables are too small. Good pricing, value for money.

Food and management are fab as always we have come here a few times now and they are accommodating and the food for a buffet is really decent.

We had desserts and drinks in the bar. The waitress took our order quickly and the food was served promptly. The desserts were good as were our drinks. The bar was busy with a good atmosphere.

Nice cosy restaurant, serving English style food. I personally had fish and chips, nice portion, chips were perfect, fish was slightly overcooked - this ruined the batter but not the fish. Peas were plain. No greens on the plate. Price a little too high. Next day had a great English Breakfast. Again, the only thing lacking re some greens. They have a cooking station with a fine chef (lady). Please, helpful waiters and waitresses, and I though Siobhan was the pick. Will definitely go again.

Had a great night out, my wife loves steak but hasn’t had it for a couple of years because people can’t cook a well done steak for some reason. I checked the website and they promised to cook a steak to your liking (challenge accepted) Got exactly what she asked for, a well done steak that went down a treat. Thank you 🙏

Just had a meal here as we’re staying overnight. The chicken shawerma was horrible; the chicken had a strange texture and looked like it had been marinated for days. The tortellini was undercooked and the bread was too hard to eat. I wish we’d ventured out for dinner as we had a feeling the food would be poor. £60 for one of the worst meals we’ve ever had, such a waste. Would avoid at all costs!

Superb food by a very creative Chef Sanjay and very attentive service staff in a lovely relaxed surrounding. Worth mentioning our fish & chips, crab linguini was amazing. Will be back!

Went for dinner on Saturday night with friends. Amazing food by chef Sanjay who was kind enough to stop by our table and chat for a few minutes. Special mention to Sam as well, who treated us like royalty and couldn't do enough for us. Will be back soon!!

This restaurant is set within the Marriott Hotel. On arrival it was very quiet and could've done with some background music. We were warmly greeted by the manager. The menu offers a nice selection and some different dishes. Our waitress was very nervous as it was her first week, we really felt for her. She didn't know the soup of the day, and had to ask about what the dishes included. She really could've done with some training and help from her supervisor. Our wine arrived and we weren't offered to sample it and then they left it for us to pour ourselves. We wouldn't expect this from this type of venue. The food was lovely but the prices and service charge made it a very expensive affair.

Food was great, waiting staff (Amy) very good, friendly and professional. Head Chef Sanjay was amazing, he came round after our meal and asked us what we wanted to eat tomorrow and cooked individual meals to order - very tasty. Highly recommended.

On arrival at the Cheshunt Marriott Hotel we had afternoon tea which was very nice with a great variety of sandwiches, cakes and scones. We decided to eat in the hotel in the evening and the three course meal I had for £21 was exceptional value and superb quality. This consisted of Crispy Pork belly for starter, Rump of Lamb for main course and locally sourced Mixed Ice Cream for dessert. And the barman even rustled me up an Irish Coffee despite it not being on the menu. My partner had crispy squid for starter, with sirloin steak and chips with a side of onion rings for main course followed by chocolate brownie for pudding. The presentation and quality of the food was second to none and the restaurant staff were top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

What a nice place, right in the heart of the hotel. Nice modern restaurant, clean and comfortable. Well cooked food, good service and reasonably priced, what more could you want. Will definitely be going back soon

Had an overnight stay at the Marriott and decided to eat here. Only read the reviews afterwards. I cannot say it is the best dinner and breakfast i have had but it is far from the worse. If you are planning on having breakfast then pay in advance as they hike the price up on the day.

The food and coffee were expensive and they were terrible. It is better to eat at McDonalds. The ingredients are bad and the less they cook, the better it is since they know how to make it terrible. You should avoid the restaurant and go to the mall nearby.

Delivery comes with no sauces- and no option to request sauces when making order. The contact number given online is dead, so if there’s any issues, you can’t contact anyone- you have to go in store. It’s terrible- Cheshunt branch. Change your website and app to allow people to add sauces- why should I eat dry chicken?

Absolutely the worst food in all of hoddesdon, made me and my kids all unwell and will never use or recommend them to anyone! Very low hygiene rating on door for a reason, the staff do not wear any hair nets and use bare hands on food! Avoid at all costs

We have always used Tandoori Nights when we order an Indian Takeaway and have always been happy with the food. However, we have not had food from there for a while as we are cutting back on takeaways. It was my husbands birthday on Saturday so we thought we would treat ourselves. We were so disappointed with the quality of the food. Maybe they have a new cook? It seemed as if the meat ( not the good quality we remember) had been pre-cooked and then put in whatever sauce it was meant to have. The chicken Tikka was dry and quite tasteless. Even the Peshwari Naan seemed to be missing the raisins and very little coconut. Unfortunately we will think twice about ordering from them again. So sad.
