Casa Romana Restaurant in Elmbridge

We moved to Weybridge 3 week’s ago and decided to try La Casa for our wedding anniversary lunch. What an amazing find. The staff are attentive and very friendly, Aurora and her son Raphael are extremely helpful. The food is absolutely amazing!!! And then to top it off they presented us with a Wedding Anniversary desert. We will be back 🥳

Hugely disappointing. Went to La Casa as a family to share a special anniversary. Booked a 6.30 table thinking it would be early enough not to be too busy. Wrong! Stood at the door a very long time waiting to be greeted and shown to our table. We were given menus and then it was very rushed to order drinks, starters and mains. From then on we hardly saw a server. The quality and flavour of the food does not warrant the prices, it was mediocre at best. We were not asked how our food was or offered more drinks. Our empty glasses and empty plates were not removed from the table. Forty minute wait in between courses. Mains arrived a few minutes apart. I had to constantly ask for sides that hadn't arrived while we were already halfway through our meals. My £29.50 steak was cold and certainly not cooked medium. The sides were dry and hard, and not good enough for "fine Italian cuisine". We couldn't wait to leave. Tables around us were shown the specials board except for us. The manager went round the tables asking how their meal was, however we didn't receive this courtesy. The room we were in was incredibly loud so you had to shout at each other to be heard. It was hot and stuffy with no air circulation. We asked for the bill as soon as we could. There were only 2 servers plus an older gentleman who delivers the food and the manager for a full, busy restaurant. We waited for the card machine and of course it never arrived. My husband had to go up to the front desk and ask to pay. The server then had the audacity to say that we had to pay the service on the meal - there was no service!! We weren't asked how the meal had gone or why we were clearly unhappy. The manager was there during this exchange and was not interested. This is only the second time we have ever chosen not to pay for service. La Casa certainly weren't grateful for our custom. La Casa is no longer the place to go for a nice meal - celebratory or otherwise. There are far better Italian restaurants in town which are far better value for money and with consistent service and better food. La Casa will not see our custom again. Disappointing experience when trying to celebrate something special with our family!

Managed to fit us in at the last minute. Clean, bright and very appealing restaurant with mainly ( as far as I could tell) Italian waiters. Great selection of dishes freshly prepared. Delicious pasta and great service. Highly recommended

Superb even if a COVID delivery. We are regulars eating in or having their deliveries and the quality is consistent and being part Italian myself, I recommend the food

Rang direct last night for a birthday meal for my son and girlfriend in Addlestone. Spoke to a lovely lady, very helpful, could order everything they wanted. Meal arrived today on time, hot and delicious. Nice to be able to do something to help them celebrate. Thanks La Casa, will definitely do this again!!!

We choose this restaurant to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and because of its reputation! We waited well over half an hour for someone to take our order! The restaurant was packed with little social distancing! Our starters arrived eventually another 30 minutes later which were average! Our main courses were very disappointing with little flavour and certainly not value for money! The eventual cost was exorbitant for the food and drink we had and definitely not a place we’d return too in the near future!

My family of eight dined here after our last trip to Chessington. The staff were excellent coming out and helping us with parking as we had two cars. It was also my father in law birthday and it was an amazing experience for him as well. It really was a fitting end to a good couple of days.

I visited this restaurant when I was passing through Weybridge. It was the only place open doing takeaways. I arrived early to pick up the Pizza and I was invited in by the friendly staff to take a seat! The pizza is very good and authentic Italian. The picante was very spicy, still tasty though! I would recommend this restaurant for eating in and takeaway! Thanks La Casa for the great service and food!

Incredible take away. All I can say is this is the best delivery I’ve ever had. We missed going out for a meal for a date night and this food was incredible. On time, food is hot and delicious. Would recommend

Well we noticed on a drive past that they were doing deliveries while we are on this lockdown! we tried it tonight and it excelled in terms of on time, still piping hot and the most amazing flavours, my son and husband could not believe how good the food was, we had king prawns and risotto and a grilled fish dish, totally amazing and I mean it, have not had food like that since the lockdown!! Bravo La Casa, will definitely order from you again, give them a go! you won't be sorry.

Lived in Weybridge for over 4 years but never used La Casa till today, the very good lady didn't fancy cooking, I burn water. I saw last week when collecting medicine in boots that La Casa were doing takeaways during the lockdown. I gave them a call at 5.45 by 6.10 two fantastic meals were delivered. The lady on the phone when I rang up thanked me for supporting them at this time, I would like to thank them for tremendous service and food and be using La Casa again within the next 10 days and hopefully finally visiting the establishment once this crisis is over. Thank you again David.

The service was okay, it was fairly reasonably priced and for the most part the food was alright too. What let it down was the seafood platter I had. All of the squid rings, and there were a lot, were so rubbery as to be completely inedible, and there seemed to be more crunch in the mussels and clams than there perhaps should have been, as they did not seem to have been cleaned properly. Everything else was decent though

Had a great time at La Casa, really friendly service and accommodating. Good wine list - very Tuscan heavy, perfect! - and good range in the menu. I particularly liked the lamp chop rack - very nice

The food was second rate no we hadn't even finished are starters and they were trying to bring out are mains which were just taken back and left to heat up so when they did bring it out it was even fresh my lamb chops were all dry and my wife's pasta dish was rock hard was also over priced for what it is don't like giving bad reviews but had no choice on this place

Nothing too much trouble Food amazing. And if you have room the Tiramisu was really yummy and nice and chilled! The mussels to start in tomato sauce were huge which is always good. Pizza and steaks top Def recommend

Had a really great night with a girlfriend on Thursday. Great food, great service and fabulous atmosphere.

Nice Italian Restaurant between Weybridge and Walton on Thames.Good food served by experience waiters. There is a small car park at the side of the restaurant but mote street parking is available in Baker Street opposite.

We had a delicious evening meal here. There was good choice, delicious food and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

I’ve been to La Casa many times. I loved that place, but today when I went with my Nan and brother is wasn’t. The service was appalling. It took 50 minutes for us to be served our starters - which was some bread and prawns. There Margarita (which wasn’t margarita) was literally just bread and cheese (which had no flavour) with a bit of tomato sauce poking out of the edges. I’m really disappointed. My Nan said that her chicken was dry.

I have been to La Casa several years ago, last Friday my wife and I, and based on our past experience with this restaurant, we invited some of our friends to La Casa to celebrate Eid (end of the holly month of Ramadan).

This is where you get a proper special dining experience that doesn't feel like a chain restaurant - the steaks are unbeatable! House wines are the best!

La Casa does very good Italian food in a smart and bright venue. I have only been for lunch and it is usually flooded with light. Of particular note is the seafood, including the delicious gamberoni. The staff are all wonderful too. A bit expensive as Italian restaurants go but the quality matches the price.

My Brother booked the table for 5 people which was in the rear corner of the restaurant and we had a very good Gamberoni allo zafferano which was excellent! Would recommend!

I visited here for my partners birthday along with my parents and I have to say it is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area!

Amazing place, service was on point and food was delicious. Definately worth a visit! Wide selection on the menu and good wine too. Busy soake sure you book!

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant with extremely well executed food and a great staff. It's on the higher end of things - but well worth it for a special occasion.

The food was mostly good. Everyone enjoyed the food apart from one person who didn't enjoy one dish. Decor is interesting but the acoustics are poor. Sound travels making it noisy and if you have a table near the open door to the terrace there is a lot of noise from traffic.

Éramos un grupo grande de unos 30 personas, así que había un montón de órdenes, todas con tres campos. Tuve un relleno de hongos para el arranque y una pizza para principal - ambos muy buenos. Los postres sin embargo no son frescas. Todos ellos están almacenados en un refrigerador pastel.

This is my favourite restaurant so we always recommend and take others but this evening was for me and my husband and everything was just wonderful. The food, the service and the ambiance was perfect.

A lovely Italian restaurant with a wide variety of choice. Excellent steaks, cooked exactly as you ask. Fish dishes are beautiful and the pasta dishes are as you would expect from a top restaurant. There are pasta and pizza choices as well as a lovely...

Very nice food, came across it by chance as we were staying local to the area and walked up the high street till we couldn't walk anymore. Very lovely staff, very busy but you could tell that they work well and had everything under control. Would travel back in future to try on a Sunday. Look forward to eating here again very soon

Been there with the family: 4 girls raging from nearly 2 to 17 and wife. Everyone got something and they were all pleased with the quality of the food, service and the welcoming atmosphere.The place is well looked after: on the classy side, but not too overwhelming.The food range offered on the menu is very rich and at a first glance it may seem on the pricey side, however the portions are extremely generous (as they are supposed to be in Italy!) and there is no chance that you can not fully enjoy them.All the staff either comes from italy (chef and metre) or comes from an Italian background and this is always a plus when it comes to Italian food.If you go there, you'll definitely come back. Not to miss if you are in the area

A popular Italian restaurant always busy. Has a great atmosphere caters well for Corporate customers as well as couples and friends. Excellent food and great selection of wines and off course deserts . Always have a great meal here. Can get a bit noisy, but if your going with the flow you will enjoy it and not notice. Highly recommended.

Tasty food and fabulous service. Couldn't ask for more. Having planned to eat elsewhere for my husbands birthday but been let down we choose this restaurant last minute, the service was excellent. The menu had something for everyone (we were a party of 7). The food tasted amazing. Will definitely return.

Food was very good although a bit pricey. But it is a restaurant not a gastro-pub. Nicely laid out with pleasing decor. The service was good and attentive. Enjoyed the evening.

Have always wanted to eat here & finally made the decision to do so to celebrate, with special friends, my 60th birthday. I was so not disappointed!The food was tasty, hot, plentiful and scrumptious!The staff were attentive and friendly but not overbearing. They also discovered it was my birthday & placed a candle in my dessert & sang Happy Birthday - lovely addition to the evening.I had Turbot which was superb & cooked very well.I will definitely be back.

Friendly atmosphere, nice décor and good food, ticks all the boxes. If we are out for a meal and don't want to be disappointed, this is an establishment we love to return to. Ensure you book in advance. The king prawns on saffron rice is always delicious. Give it a try for yourself.

It was a great restaurant, probably top Italian in Surrey. But ceaded trading over 20 years ago. Was a variety of names previously LaMonde & for last 4 years has been LaCasa which is reviewed elsewhere on your listing for Weybridge., Do your reviewers know here they eat ?

we had a fabulous family Sunday lunch - there were 16 of us and we were all served well and at the same time.

One of the best places in town. Consistently excellent and always a pleasure to visit. Eating there again in a few days with a large group and looking forward to it.

Standard Italian fare, Pizzas, Pasta you have had it before and probably better.. Service was slow and unfriendly dis-interested. but quite efficient. Wine list reasonable but a bit expensive.as was the menu for food. Ambience was fine but a little noisy. Parking is limited. We will not be rushing to try again.

We have eaten here numerous times. The welcome is genuine, the food is extremely good and there is a lively atmosphere most nights of the week. You may have to be prepared to park over the road, rather than outside, because it gets cramped for space. However, the experience of eating here is worth it. My tip would be to try and seafood on the Specials, I have done this a few times and have never been disappointed.

We've been eating here for a few years now but only just thought about a review. In our opinion it's the best Italian restaurant in Weybridge. It has a great selection to choose from and Nico and Aurora are great hosts. We go there as a couple on our own and with friends but on Saturday we celebrated my wife's birthday with 30 guests and had a fantastic time. Everyone loved the food and the service.Nigel

There is a good variation to choose. We had a delicius Fish dinner and Carpatio for startersFriendly service

Dined here again recently having not been for a while and had a lovely meal. Atmosphere was good, restaurant was busy and service friendly. Food was great, not amazing and perhaps a little overpriced. Still had a great evening though :-)
