Caribe' in Lambeth

First visit to Brixton Pop and chose this restaurant Food was tasty except for cocktails served in a basic mug and overcharged me as well which I didn’t notice as could not see the bill , I trusted them when she said the amount! The starter pop corn also served in a mug and most of the kernels were still kernels so a little disappointed The rest of the food was tasty and different The service was good and the girls pleasant

What can we say about Caribe'? There aren't enough adjectives to describe - amazing, awesome, brilliant, fantastic, spectacular and sublime just to name a few! Even before arriving, communication was first rate and regular. We received a warm welcome from the outset. Lots of wonderful drink and food choices on the extensive menu followed by the actual food and drinks which did not disappoint. If you want authentic caribbean food then this is the restaurant to come to! Definitely recommend and will return 💯 Thank you to Keisha and her Mum, Jennifer 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Love this place, it’s upstairs on the right as you walk into Pop Brixton. I am coeliac so have other struggled to find places to eat here but this this place is perfect. They have a number of gluten free dishes- the plantain with homemade guacamole was amazing! The owner was so lovely and even used fresh oil for me in the fryer to avoid cross contamination- what incredible service! Will definitely be going here again!

Pequeño restaurante encantador en Brixton. Comida fresca hecha a pedido. Muy sabrosa comida limpia. Cálida bienvenida y servicio amable. Buena configuración: está en una ventana emergente más grande de quioscos y entretenimiento musical. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

Visité el Caribe el fin de semana. Este es un pequeño lugar para comer y beber que ofrece saludables platos caseros caribeños. El área donde se encuentra está llena de actividad de muchos lugares diferentes de comida y bebida, creando un excelente ambiente. La comida estaba deliciosa. Probé uno de los cócteles y estaba delicioso. Definitivamente recomiendo

We really enjoyed a meal here on a recent weekend trip to London. I had the steamed fish, it was cooked beautifully with freshly cooked veg and rice, i loved the dish. Caribe' also has a good range of imported beers and delicious rum cocktails for you to enjoy along with your meal. A cosy, chilled out venue, we would definitely visit again.

We had a truly wonderful meal here and would highly recommend it to any looking for good, tasty fresh Caribbean food An intimate restaurant serving fantastic food such as corn fried chicken, goat curry, oxtail stew almost others. We enjoyed a fruit punch but you can have any number of beers or wines Super friendly, we were surprised to hear that the young lady had just started the restaurant as it was all seamless Good luck for the future 😊

Caribé has been open for three week..I have been here twice with three sets of people, that says it all!! Really yummy, hearty, quality and FRESH! Caribbean food that moves away from typical dishes you expect eg jerk etc. The oxtail is the best I've had accompanied with butter beans, coconut rice and slaw. The meat is tender and falls off the bone. Love the cocktails too especially the creamy chiquito. The restaurant is super cosy and makes me feel like im in the Caribbean with the freindly host, chilled soca music vibes and colourful decor. Defo planning a forth visit soon to try other tasty dishes such as friend chicken and the steamed fish! LOVE!!!
