First time ordering at cardamom, I have to say we were very disappointed, the food is tasteless, no salt, watery, and the biriyani seems to have been microwaved, not fresh. I won’t be ordering from here again, I called during the week to ask if the meat used is halal, they had no idea what I was saying, I asked my husband to call a seperate time and they said yes the meat is halal, but over the phone the conversation is rushed and not very polite, with little understanding.

Very underwhelmed. Food was average at best . Order was wrong which would not have mattered if it had been good. We won’t go back there.

Not a thing wrong with the food or the service ordered a takeaway and told it would be 15 to 20mins Food was perfect, lovely and hot Service was polite and friendly We would have no hesitation in returning here for a takeaway..

Awful meal, tough lamb garlic tikka and chicken not much better, both meals cold. Won’t be trying again.

Had a great takeaway last night. They did get the naan wrong but we ate it anyway. Tried butter chicken curry 🍛 for a change, that was nice 👌.

Try the butter chicken. It might not be the most exotic dish on the menu but it’s in all honesty one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Considering I worked in restaurants & hospitality for 15 years that’s saying a lot. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Pershore.

Last night I ordered Apricot Ilyana and Tandoori Chicken as a main. The Tandoori chicken was such a lovely flavour that after the meal I telephoned Saf to thank him and to tell him it was the BEST flavour that I'd experienced in an Indian meal. The chicken was perfect but when I got to the sauce, I was totally blown away! The flavour was to die for! I'll definitely be ordering this dish many more times.

I have raved about this place in the past. Tonight wasn’t a good experience. I don’t know what the ‘lab’ was but it tasted nothing like it and was very tough and chewy. Big let down.

What has happened to this once excellent takeaway. We would be customers once a week, no longer! Prices increased over the top, delivery charges, and much worse the quality of the food. All our dishes tasted very much the same and I'm sure if the owners were blind folded they couldn't tell one dish from another! So sad at the moment, things are not good, just hope issues are addressed as we would like to return and support a local business.

Ordered a delivery online at 5:30 pm with an estimated 80 mins delivery, so should arrive at around 6:40pm. No tracking updates and food turned up very cold at 7:30pm! I had to chase the restaurant just after 7pm to get an update! Food would have probably tasted nice if it had turned up fresh, hot and on time!

Ordered a delivery on a quiet Tuesday. Ordered at 5:30, and food turned up at 7:30 very cold! Information on website not updated and had to call restaurant to chase order. Poor experience! If the food had turned up fresh, hot and on time it probably would have tasted ok!

Cardamon have got far too big for their boots.l! Great place years ago... cheap and beautiful food....now; they've whacked the prices up, (far above inflation) delivery £4 just in pershore. It probably cost £70p in fuel to get where i am.. the food is so bland. Also forget any free popadoms! Mint sauce is now the tiny pots, order 3 for a "normal portion" .. Never again. Jimmy pickles/ shunarga are rubbish also. Save your money. Order else where for a decent indian meal... delivery driver was so lovely. The only positive x

It's my birthday so I thought I'd treat myself to a takeaway. Food was disgusting. Chewy and not sure what the meat was. It was luke warm when delivered and wrong order. Phoned them and they just said "okay next time you order, we'll give you discount". Ermmmm, no, wont ordering again. Vile!

No real depth of flavour to the food. Ordered 4 different dishes and none tasted authentic. Korma was so sweet it was indelible. Same with the mint raita. Very disappointed.

It’s a year since since my last visit but I thought I’d give it another try. I wish I hadn’t because just as a year ago the food went in the bin. We ate the poppadums and chutneys only, the main course, Jay Manchuria went in the bin. I might as well have had a chicken stew ! No taste, no spice, no heat it was bland and bloody awful. One tiny jalapeño s and the rest was a plate of onions. It’s got to be one of the worst Indian takeaways I’ve ever had. Sorry but I won’t be going back

Haven’t had a takeaway for ages. I’d say this is the best value in pershore. Always on time. Easy to park outside on broad street. Jimmy pickles is the other takeaway we use sometimes too.

Really enjoyed the dishes we ordered especially the Lamb Vindaloo- loads of very tender meat and great flavour and spice level. Would recommend and would come back!

We ordered a takeaway costing over £50 and sadly were extremely disappointed by the quality of it. We ordered it to celebrate a special occasion but the taste and flavour of the meals just was not what we are used to from an Indian takeaway. The Sheek Kebabs did not taste spicy and like they would normally, the main meals were more like casserole dishes and the naan breads and paratha were more like cardboard with a very odd flavour indeed. I let the business know of our disappointment and that we would be putting a negative review on Trip Advisor but sadly have had no response from them.

These guys are always super friendly, and the food is always great. The place needs tidying up, gets a bit scruffy, only reason it doesn't get 5 stars really. Deliveries are always early, if not, on time. Kebab boxes are awesome value, definitely recommend

Have ordered from here regularly over the past few years and the food has always been great. As someone who likes pickle, the garlic chicken achari is particularly glorious and one of my favourite things to eat on this earth :)

Very enjoyable Indian food. Our first time to Cardamom so we were not sure if it was a dine in restaurant with a takeaway option or just a takeaway. It is the latter. We were partly confused by the offer of a 10% discount. This is the norm in some places for takeaways from a dine in restaurant but at Cardamom the discount seems to only apply if you order through their own online facility? When you do so you get charged a ‘service charge’ of 75p which, apparently, is levied by ‘Bookyup’ who, I assume, manage the booking website? So, your discount will be 10% of the food price plus 75p. Thought it was worth stating that as some reviewers were asking where their 10% had gone. I also believe that it is free delivery OR 10% discount…not both. The place itself looks a tip when you go in. This may put some people off but the food that is served up is tasty and wholesome so stick with it! A HUGE selection of indian dishes on their menu. The ones we had were delicious so I suppose we need to start working our way through what is on offer!

Since it wss my birthday we decided to have a meal from Cardamon. Ordered on the new online system which was easy. Meal arrived piping hot just before the time I requested, which was really good. All the items were there and the two meals were delicious. Not sure where my 10% online discount went. But never mind I really enjoyed the meal. I will be back again.

Big portions and reasonable prices but fairly standard quality. The coconut tikka masala with tandoori chicken works well, korma was nice too. Kebab box is a nice option, too many chips and not enough salad for me though

Pathetic. Over £10 for a tandoori mix grill... It has barely any meat, and i waoted over an hour. Awful awful. Poppadoms were stale and all cracked. Meat was tough

Ordered and collected promptly. Lovely and hot on arrival. Hubby enjoyed his Chittagong special though it was extremely spicy, more so than expected. My salmon dish was very disappointing as it claimed to have potato in which I prefer to rice, hence choosing the dish. There unfortunately was no potato at all but overloaded with far too much garlic. Little disappointed as this was an anniversary supper.

In the area on holiday and so pleased to finally get a decent curry as where we come from have all gone downhill! Great food 👌

First time I have used this take away, firstly they deliver to Peopleton,unlike loads of other food establishments. Well the choice was amazing ,the food took approx 55 minutes to come, which was about what I was expecting, the food arrived and wa piping hot, well packaged to prevent spills, I tried the peshwari rice,makhani lamb and keema naan, the flavours were absolutely amazing,most definitely the best Indian take away I have ever had.

Ok always enjoyed there takeaway meals but the last one we had was poor , chicken was dry and over cooked and no complimentary dips and poppadoms with the order . Will be hard pushed to have anything else from them

We always use this takeaway but had one tonight a lamb slaslic balti which is normally a1 .tonight the lamb was as chewy as gum also you always get a free naan and dip this has all stopped obviously getting cheap on customers .loyal customer for 5yrs will not be returning looking for another Indian hope cutting costs proves effective (cheap meat ) !!!!!!!!

First time i have ordered from Cardomom and i was super impressed with the food (chicken sag... delicious) and the delivery speed. They arrived when they said the would! I had ordered a mushroom bhaji but ended up with a mushroom rice and once i'd tasted it, i didn't mind at all; I'll try the bhaji next time.

Pasanda watery but nice- my husband didn't like his food at all. A bit difficult to maintain social distancing when picking up the order.

Cost £15 for 4 poppadoms as the rest of the food went straight in the bin. Twice in 2 visits I’ve received cold food and missing items. The place is utter chaos. Never again

Fabulous food. On time for our delivery slot. Great value. One small criticism..... customers waiting inside not wearing masks. For takeaway supposed to wear masks.

Had our first from Cardamom this evening. I’m not going anywhere else from now on! It was spot on. The service, the delivery and the food was amazing. Thank you so much, highly recommended. Even hubby said, I think this is the best curry I have ever had!

The food was absolutely gorgeous ,very friendly and reliable service would definitely recommend the food to anyone ,best Indian takeaway we have ever tasted .

Zero social distancing from the delivery driver, handing me the food without gloves Etc. Was only warm, although tasted okay both dishes we ordered were quite salty.

During covid lockdown and my hubby birthday, treated him to his favourite. Love the fellas here. Great tasting curries and good quality meat. Definately recommend

My wife was out for the evening so I decided to give Cardamom a go, as it was recommended by a friend. From the modest premises, the food I collected was superb and very authentic - I enjoy desi style curry and had the Medhi Special. Huge portion and extremely rich and tasty. I'll be back! Also great value for money.

Very testy indian food till late night

heard great things about this take away so thought we would try it. Very disappointed - were told order would be one hour so when we arrived to collect we then had to wait another half an hour. Very disorganised and scruffy inside. Starter ok, mains not good - chicken tikka masala only 2 pieces of chicken and lots of thin, dark red sauce with unusual flavouring - not the usual taste. Veg balti tasted nice but only large pieces of pots and onions with a few green peppers. Naans - keema ok, peshwari horrible, no coconut or fruit, very disappointed. Will be returning to Jimmy Pickles in Pershore.

This was the first time we have used this takeaway.We ordered two combination meals- two smaller portions in each meal, to give a wider selection. We will certainly do this again,as it gave a wider range.The food was delivered on time- possibly a little earlier than promised- and it was very good value.

First impressions not very good. Despartely indeed of a massive overhaul,decor very dirty,just looked grubby all round.We ordered our food, took it home,not impressed with flavour,quite bland,even though it was suppose to have a zesty sauce. Wont be going or having a take away from here anytime soon.

We have called in here a few times and have always had a great curry.

Having just moved to the area form Birmingham I've found it very hard to find anything as good as we were used to. Cardamom is the best we've found, good quality and choice, certainly hot if that's what you want! and plenty of it. they get very busy at weekends but there are some good hostilities close by if you need somewhere to wait!

Its our favourite Indian takeaway in pershore. Good price and 10% off if you collect. Parking in broad street so easy to collect.

We stay in Defford on a boat every summer The Cardamon is our favourite Food is superb The combination dishes are great Side dishes excellent Motor Paneer Saag Aloo👍 Budget £8 per person and you will have a feast

Absolutely disgusted with my order, Placed a order for a chicken tikka... Recieved 4 pieces of skimpy chicken which even the dogs couldn’t stomach. Would leave half a star if possible

On a busy Saturday night during the pershore light switch on we had a delicious takeaway. We had the set meal for 2 at £25. They offer 10% for collections but not on this option.

My mate and I used them twice this week we both thought the food was excellent.

Best indian around great price and the currys are amazing no greasy oil sat on the top like some indians and taste amazing 5 stars

My order tonight was disappointing ,my vegetable curry was 2 small pieces of potato,pulses in a thick sauce, The chicken Biryani was hard and dry. My husbands Jalfrezi was fine albeit lots of onions and chilli . Other times we have been very pleased

We use this takeaway regularly. We have tried some of their original dishes, and the old favourites. The flavours are always fresh, and the portions are truly plentiful - we usually have plenty of leftovers for another meal.

I order curry from cardamom 10th September name of curry chicken tikka Massala and chicken tikka Balti it was fantastic quick service staff are very friendly i will come back again

Amazing takeaway food always hot and good portion sizes, we use these a lot and rarely have any problems and always get an extra put in as we spend so much, would definitely recommend.

I've only had a few curries from here that the been "so so" ... however 90% of the time the food is amazing. Chips are nice, naan bread soft and the curries are very flavoursome. Sometimes the curries do have alot of oil in them which floats to the top which is disappointing but it's not a massive issue. The last 2 curries I've had from here have be beautiful! & I actually ring them back to tell them how lovely it was! The owner is lovely & chatty. I really recommend that place. Keep up the good work boys! Xxx

What can you say about a takeaway? It pretty much does what it says on the tin, but Cardamom's in Pershore is great on portions, inexpensive and they even threw in a couple of complimentary poppadums and raita. All waiting for us to collect at the time they said it would be ready, although they offer free delivery if required. We shall certainly be using them again.

We love the food from cardamom especially butter chicken . Always busy so not bothered if have to wait or can't get through straight away food from them is well worth the wait. They are only humans and id rather wait for great food than 5mins for microwave food.something for the kids on the kids meals too. I think people need to give these guys as break.worth trying the area specials and dansak curry . Best curry we've had and we've had some hahaa

We are really struggling, the first couple of time we went here it was ok, now it is it is always late and the staff are aggressive if you question them on any time scale. This is the last time.

Always use Cardamom for our take aways when at home. Friendly staff, decent service and the tastiest food all at very reasonable prices.

Terrible take away service. We ordered at 6.15pm for 6 people and despite leaving a contact number had to phone after 2 hours to enquire how long it would be? We were told it was on the way. We live 2 miles away from the restaurant! Phoned again 15 minutes later to be told the delivery driver was having trouble with his car.... The food arrived eventually at 8.40pm and the driver was having trouble with his car but said they hadn't even cooked it? We then found all 6 of the main dishes contained very little meat, were just mostly sauces and were extremely oily. Have used this takeaway before but will not be using again. Very disappointed.........

We've ordered a lot in the past and the only real complaint has been the amount of oil that many of te dishes sit in and which you have to drain off first (unless you love eating oil). The quality has been consistently good and with 10% off what are reasonable prices anyway then it really does offer good value for money.That being said, we ordered a delivery for last Friday night and it took 1hr 15mins to arrive which is quite a lot when we live less than 10mins away.When it arrived the naan bread was burnt to a cinder on one side (and pretty black on the other side) for two of the three and inedible. So we called and explained and the guy on the phone was most apologetic and said we would get another one ASAP. That was actually 20-25mins later and by that time we had pretty much finished the curry without it.He asked to see the evidence and said that he had smelled burning in the kitchen (but then I did wonder why no-one checked to ensure it wasn't sent out?) and gave us replacement naan breads.... Which turned out to be different than we ordered (cheaper). Not wanting to cause a fuss and having eaten the curry we didn't bother calling back.That being said it was the only "blip" we've had so would order again and fingers crossed Mr Cinder has been reeducated in what constitutes as being edible or not.

I live locally and this has to be the best curry house in Pershore, the guys at the Cardamom really know how to make great curry! I've been here countless times, and I will be going countless times more no doubt!

My partner tried to place an order via telephone and wanted to pay via card over the phone. He was told that was possible and was asked for the long card number. He asked how much the total was and was told by the man on the phone 'he didn't know' and refused to add it up. It makes no sense - why would you try and take a card number off someone without telling them the total! My partner told him to call back when he knew the total so he could pay and half an hour later we were still waiting for the call...

Great choice for a takeaway curry. All the usual dishes, plus a few extras! The dishes taste and look different - in so many places they look like 90% of the dish is the same no matter what you order - not here!Always very generous portion sizes and they throw in a free veggie dish and papadums too.Nothing flashy, but good food.

Lovely food especially dansak currys . Can't fault it its a good feeling waiting for food when they are busy, id rather wait knowing when I get it it's exactly how I want it.
