Haven't been to the Raj for a while but had a great takeaway from them today. All fresh and just a lovely meal, will definitely be using them for our takeaway Indian food in the future if it stays this quality.

OMG Had an amazing chicken Balti madras last night They were s bit under pressure as the mop was on but the meal was great I’m from Birmingham and it tasted just like it should a Birmingham old school Stratford road Balti We’ll done! Thnx Jo

Used to always get food from here and it was great but not tonight. Food was late, was told an hour, phoned up after almost 2 hours to be told they were just waiting for a driver. No poppadoms included and food was just tasteless and cold. Won’t be ordering again unfortunately

Absolutely the Best!! The Vindaloo is top! I always opt for fish vindaloo. Tandoori King Prawns are mouthwatering!. They also do a misha rice which consists of Tandoori chicken shrimp and egg! Its the nicest rice I have ever tasted!.

Two hours later our food gets delivered after calling up the restaurant twice and being told it’ll be delivered shortly just waiting for a driver, then put the phone down on me mid conversation. Shortly after I call again as the foods not arrived, only to be told I’d get no discount even though we’ve had such a long wait for the food. I was told next time I’ll have a discount but after last night’s experience I won’t be returning! A young child who wanted their tea and to go to bed, if I would have known we would have had to wait such a time I would have gone elsewhere and got better customer service also!

Just had our first takeaway from here. I ordered a chicken moushak, and whilst it was nice, it tasted exactly like a chicken korma which I would never normally order. My husband ordered a chicken bombay masala which was very nice. I guess I was unlucky and ordered the wrong thing. I will try something else next time and hopefully I won't be disappointed again. The 30 - 40 min delivery turned in to more than an hour, but service was friendly & polite so overall we will give them a few more chances to get it right.

You cannot go wrong when ordering from Raj of India. Super food at affordable prices, probably one of the best Indian's in Evesham.

6 and a half clean plates (dunno why we have salt on the table). My tandori chilli chicken was as good as the garlic ones I'm used to, the 3x chicken tikka masalas had just the right amount of heat for the 3 mothers who had it. Nor sure about the 2 other dishes. Be sure to ask for a pot or 2 of lime pickle, it's not listed but is very good.

Visited Worcestershire to see some great landmarks and stopped by this Indian spot and these curries took my breath away from the quality and service I received it is top notch. I will gladly revisit again to just try the authentic curries from raj of India.

It's been 6 years since I left my home in India and walking in I felt right at home, you're instantly hit by the beautiful scent of Chicken Tikka. The service was top notch and made me feel like I was wanted. I very much enjoyed my order of Chicken Dhansak which was sweet and cooked to perfection and the garlic naan which was crunchy and flaky on the outside yet soft on the inside. The prices were very fair for the service and taste. All in all I will definitely be returning in the future with family and will be highly recommending to friends, 100% without a doubt my new favourite Indian place to eat.

I went to this restaurant 1 week ago and the customer service was amazing and most importantly the food was exquisite. I really loved the decor of the place and if your ever in the area you should definitely pop by and try it. 10/10

Having recently moved to Evesham we decided to try the Raj of India. Arrived to collect food at specified time. Still had to wait. Got home only to find that rice had been forgotten! Drove all the way back to get rice to be told that there was a £10 minimum order cost!!!! I told them I had just paid over £40 for the currys and that the rice was missing. The chap behind the counter finally agreed to waive the £10 limit. How magnanimous of him! Finally got home with rice to find currys had now gone cold. To cap it all the lamb in the lamb pasanda was akin to boot leather as were the prawns in the prawn curry. I will not be going back and I will not recommend this place to anyone. My advice is to stay away if you appreciate good food and good customer service. You won’t get either at this restaurant.

My family ordered food tonight 6/2/21 the rice was cold, the chicken tikka masala was watery, bland and tasteless and the popadoms were stale. Very disappointing

What a shame, that the rules in this restaurant are outdated ! More so at the time of COVID , charging £1 to use your card for payments over the phone . Please see the guidance from 3 years ago The new rules, which will be laid down in law, will mean ALL surcharges are banned. Absolutely superb Arrived bang on time by delivery driver (manager) Food was piping hot . Main dishes lovely (cooked fresh ) Keema nan Fresh Doe loads of meat and definitely cooked in a clay oven . Mushroom rice really good . Bombay Aloo , very tasty and fresh potato. Great food , Great service, Great food .

Been here a couple of times since COVID-19, I can happily say that this is mine and my family's go to takeaway in town. The delivery was contact free, fast and driver was wearing correct PPE. Keep up the good work! 10/10

Simply the best take away Curry House in Evesham

Terrible delivery service, was told it was going to be 50 minutes, after an hour it was going to be with us in a few minutes, hour and a half since ordering the driver had only just left! What a joke and a disaster, the food maybe one of the best in town (reading other reviews) but your delivery service is shocking! Good job the chip shop was open down the road so the diabetic in the family didn’t go in to a fit and end up in the hospital for the night!

We ordered from the Raj for the first time recently and it won't be our last! The food was delicious, the best quality we've had in the area. It was a speedy delivery from a very smiley gentleman. Overall a great experience. Really glad we've found our new Indian takeaway!

For Father’s Day we decided to have an Indian from here for the first time and I can truthfully say for the last time too. The chicken was dry, the naan was just cold dough. My dad and I were the only ones who had rice with our curries on Sunday and still on Tuesday night we are in bed with extreme belly pains and sickness. The rice tasted like it had been reheated and scraped off the bottom of a pan. A microwave curry would have been far better than this.

We have been customers for years and have always enjoyed the tasty food. We appreciate it even more after a recent bad experience at a local 'sit down' restaurant (the Raj is takeaway only) - we had decided to eat out for a change. But we are likely to stick to their takeaways in the comfort of our home in the future!

We have used The Raj of India for around ten years or so. We do try other takeaways in the area but always seem to return to the place. The fact they deliver to our village is a bonus. Generally the food is pretty good, though it is fair to say that occasionally we have had a meal that wasn't quite as good as expected, All the other local Indian restaurants we have tried have to same issue i.e. consistency, however the ROI more often does get it right. Recommended

We're new to Evesham and the Raj was recommended to us. I have to say we were definitely not disappointed. Best Dansak I've ever had. Full of flavour, not oily and really fresh. Will definitely be using them again. Great meal; thank you :)

Una muy buena pizzería sistemáticamente indio que nos han estado usando durante años. precios razonables. La comida siempre llega a 30-45 minutos y siempre llega fresco y caliente. El personal es muy educado y servicial.

We recently stayed in the Evesham area with our caravan, and had a takeaway meal delivered to the campsite. The food was delicious and ranks as one of the best that we have eaten.
