Had a notification 30 minutes before it was delivered to say it was on route - I live 10 mins away from store. When I received it, curry was cold, poppadoms were stale, rice was hard and naan bread felt more like warm bread. Wasn’t the Bengal Spice we knew and loved.

Tried Bengal Spice this evening. Poor quality food. Mainly fried onions. Underwhelmed. Starters far too salty. Soft poppadoms.

Took two hours and ten minutes to arrive. Was updated with a new ETA and still took an extra 40 minutes on top of that. Food was nice but I wanted to eat before 8, not at nearly 10pm. Just Eat said it was on the way and when we called, they said it's next to leave the kitchen... However, this doesn't reflect our usual experience and we will continue to eat from here, but not on a weekend when it's too busy.

The food arrived hot and was delicious, everyone said how good it was and it was very enjoyable. The ordering process was easy and the time waiting from order to delivery was good, a very pleasant delivery driver too. Very happy with the experience, would definitely recommend, and will use them again.

Unusual for late deliveries from bengal spice, on this occasion over 30 minutes late.

We were staying around the corner so decided to order on Just Eat and collect ourselves. It's takeout only, but the waiting area is clean and orderly. My Chicken Jalfrezi was spicy with chopped green chilies and fresh chunky onion and green peppers. The Lamb Biriyani was milder but really good too. The plain naan was a little on the tough side. Compensation popadoms was a really nice addition to start. Very reasonably priced too.

We have used Bengal Spice for since their inception at the Talbot Inn Droitwich but after waiting over one and a half hours and being told the driver had just left. The food arrived shortly afterwards and despite having paid online as per usual, the delivery driver asked for payment. I said that I had paid and when she couldn't get hold of the manager on the phone, I rang and put the phone on speaker & spoke to one of the staff.who said that I had paid but they didn't know to whom it belonged. Bearing in mind that I always tell them my name & address from the start & also put my name as a reference on the transaction I did not believe it but said nothing. On opening our delivery the meals proved to be lukewarm, but having waited for over an hour & a half & having spent the day doing building work in the garden we ate the starters but I then rang to advise them of the situation. I was told in no uncertain terms that as we had eaten them that they could do nothing. No mention from them regarding the uneaten mains! Subsequently, I received a telephone call from the manager (somehow he miraculously knew both my name & telephone number!) Apparently, it would appear that complaining about lukewarm food seems to be considered being rude as I was advised that I had been rude to both the person on the telephone & the delivery driver, which was completely false & pointed it out to him. He said that in future I should ask for him, but when I said that it shouldn't be necessary as he employed people to take the orders he responded with, "It's your money, you can spend it where you choose." Naturally, I shall take his sage advice & spend it elsewhere & if I wanted to be heating a takeaway up at home I would buy one from a supermarket.

Ordered collection on just eat. Collected my order, the young lad at the desk was extremely polite and kind which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not one. I didn't receive an item in my order and was sent the wrong meat in my curry. Used just eats live chat to complain and just get a simple refund for those items alone as going back to the restaurant wasn't worth it/possible. I was denied compensation as it was a collection order, how is the process of receiving incorrect items any different than if I collected or delivered, it is the staffs responsibility to ensure accuracy of orders, not the consumers. Unfortunately unless I am fairly compensated, I don't think I will be coming here again, which is a shame as all prior orders were excellent and this is my favourite curry house in Droitwich.

order came late and cold king prawn puree had 3 small prawns dont know what main coarse is like could not eat any more. prices had gone up and we were not told promised to bring new menu never did. had food from here for years but not any more.

Ordered food at 5.00 received at 6.15. Long wait for 3 starters. Onion bajis dry no flavour king prawn had no king prawn just 2 chopped up bits of a prawn and garlic mushrooms just dried up mushrooms. Best bit was poppadoms and mint dip. Used to be good food but not any more. Shame.😑😑😑

Waited 2 hrs for delivery. Phoned restaurant and he said its just leaving, sorry its late but you'd get it quicker if you didn't order through Just Eat. Wow. Erm. So it's our fault? Then it arrived and the vegetarian dish came as a meat dish. Phoned again. He said sorry will send the right one and really you should have Phoned us to make sure we saw the note about vegetarian. Wow. Our fault again. Last week they got it right without me needing to phone cos last week they could read. Food last week was 100% but am gutted this week. 930pm and still no food to eat not eaten since breakfast. Friday curry night with movie ruined.

Ordered a curry last night and waited 2and half hours.while I understand it was new year when I rang they said 45mins. 2 hours later I rang to b told waiting for a driver.half hour later arrived. Told them I wasn't paying full price to which boss on phone told driver to bring back.moral of story is if you can't deliver be honest rather than taking the money and the kids.will never use again.🖐🖐🖐🖐

We had a set meal for 4 for my family. There's 4 of us but there was enough food to feed us for 2 days. It was all delicious, hot and very good value. My daughter especially couldn't get over how nice it was and really enjoyed being able to try different things.

Ordered through Just Eat - says there is a delivery charge if over 3 miles. Despite living well within 3 miles was charged £3 for the privilege of cold food and particularly dry chips and naan. Just Eat refused a refund. There are better curry houses in Droitwich - for quality and honesty.

Had a meal from here Thursday Night the food was good and the new delivery driver Is so sweet and polite he delivered to us a few times last few weeks. Our 3 year old loves him coming to deliver as he always speak to her and gives her the time of day and doesn’t rush of like other the drivers. 10 out 10 service.

It is a good value, no frills takeaway. We nearly always buy the meal deal for 2 as it lasts a couple of nights so works out more economical than other takeaways and the quality is okay for the price. However, the last time we went one of our main dishes wasn't as ordered. Received a prawn rather than paneer dish which we were not able to eat as vegetarian. The tub said paneer but it was full of prawns and not a piece of paneer in sight. Highly disappointing. The rest of the meal was good but they need to improve their food handling so as not to send incorrect dishes.

Love the food only place I would order my Indian food from but my last order the driver called me and said he or other drivers are not allowed to deliver to flats/apartments they can't come in it or go up the stairs. U have to come down or outside. I live on the 3rd floor n have a new born baby I'm not leaving my baby. So have to now order eslewere which is unfortunate x

Tried many of Curry houses in droitwich and Worcester but this is by far the best I’ve ever tasted highly recommended!!!

I'd never used this take away before and sadly I won't be again. Ordered two main courses and the chicken in both was tough. The rice was luke warm. Wish I'd gone elsewhere and paid a bit more.

Last two times i’ve ordered from here the curries have been delivered almost 2 hours later. Seriously avoid if you want a hot dinner. Poor service and just get told to ask for mohammad next time. Cold curry equals bengal belly.

Great takeaway and very freandly staff.

A big group of us were heading back to a friend's house for the evening, and decided to order a takeaway. Rather than do one massive order, we thought it was best to place separate orders for each couple/family even though this might mean they arrived at slightly different times. The staff were a bit bemused to get a number of phone calls all asking for delivery to the same address, but we explained the situation and they promised to do their best to deliver everything together, although they said it might all take some time. We did have to wait a while, but in the end most of the food arrived in one delivery (divided and labelled with the name of each caller to make payment a bit easier!), all except two meals which took quite a bit longer to arrive. Never mind! I think everyone enjoyed their food, and I was especially impressed with my Lamb Sagwala, which was genuinely one of the best I've ever had.

Servicio excepcionalmente educado tanto en el teléfono y por el conductor que tenía problemas para encontrar la dirección, pero la comida estaba aún caliente a la llegada. rugiente Cena para dos tiene amplia, excelentes opciones y precios. Recomiendo Korma y ajo Pollo Balti. El Bengal Momo entrantes absolutamente excepcional. No para una entrega en otro lugar.

En mi búsqueda de buena comida que probé esta para llevar, pedí un pollo tika bhalti y la esposa dieron un sag cordero. Por cierto, pedí por teléfono y recoge, mientras que estoy seguro la mayoría de la gente en línea. Si no recogerá recuerda llevar dinero en efectivo porque no aceptan tarjetas!Así llegamos a la casa paquete en el plato con arroz y para ser honesto mi pollo tika curry estaba bien, no sabe como una salsa, pero el espesor bhalti era correcta, especias y sabor tipo de fuimos juntos, donde falló fue que sólo había 7 pequeñas piezas de pollo, el equivalente de la mitad de un pequeño pechuga de pollo o menos.Me trajeron en el restaurante siempre nos dio comercio 8 trozos grandes de pollo tika con cualquier plato de curry lo que no era aceptable en mis ojos. Acabé teniendo un poco de carne de la mujer, lo cual me parece que es curry peor que la mía, puede decir nada es recién preparado y sabores eran aburridas.En general decepcionado de nuevo, pero es mejor que las especias fusión slighrly y droitwich tandoori, creo... Tienes que sentarte en el pescado y patatas fritas en droitwich, que son impresionantes!

Had a few take outs from Bengal Spice now. Always great quality and good size portions. We wouldn't go anywhere else in Droitwich for an Indian.

Made the mistake of trying a different curry house again ! and won't be doing that again ! learnt my lesson so sorry for wasting my money should have given it to you lol, as your chef is far superior to others

For a last minute take away this was brilliant. Another company was very rude so I decided to order from Bengal Spice instead and I'm very glad I did. The portions and price were perfect and the tastes and flavours were divine! Highly recommend.

La mejor relación calidad-precio fijo para dos a £18,95 . Nunca falla comida caliente y sabrosa de una manera oportuna. Mi plato favorito es kebabs mixta.

Ordered a take away for 3 people over the phone. Order processed quickly as delivery very prompt .Ordered Chicken Bhuna, Chicken Dhansak,Tandoori Chicken and, Peshwari & Keema Naan Breads with Egg Fried Rice. x 2Plenty to eat and very tasty, representing good value.

Seven of us had a take away on a Saturday evening. This time we collected it and had very prompt service. We selected a wide range of dishes and sides .I had Chicken Rogan Josh, Peshwari Naan Bread (particularly nice & recommended) Onion Bhaji & Egg Fried Rice .All very tasty and satisfying

We love the Naan bread here, it's by far the best in the area. They always come fresh, hot and not soggy in the slightest. They also have the best value for money. I didn't think so much to the curry, it was quite bland in comparison to others, and the chicken quality was not brilliant with chewy chicken, and not much of it in the sauce. I cannot sing the praises high enough for the Naan bread though, it's divine!
