Broadway Restaurant in Wychavon

Visited while staying at Broadway caravan touring park. Previously visited before and cannot recommend enough. The Waiters were very attentive and were very good with recommendations. Highly recommend a visit.

Brilliant Indian restaurant in centre of Broadway. The staff and food are excellent and great choices on the menu. The venue is also very nice don’t miss it if staying in Broadway.

Refreshingly different. Despite being in a tourist honey trap the food was good and reasonably priced. Nice large juicy prawns as a starter, lamb saagwalla was tender with saag bhaji, pilau rice and a very nice Peshwari naan. Staff were pleasant and the service was good. I would certainly visit again.

Indian isn’t the typical choice when visiting the Cotswolds but we’re certainly glad we came here after a disappointing meal the previous night in a restaurant that shall remain nameless but I wouldn’t have fed the lamb to Jack R*****l Terrier. Back to this review… our starters were dishes we haven’t seen before but both were meat that were very tender and tasty. Similarly the mains were tender but the sauces were exceptional. Clearly made specifically for the dish, not too spicy but full of flavour. Rice was excellent as were the naan and tarka dhal. The only downside was the confusion over the size of a glass of sweet wine (menu said 10cl but it clearly wasn’t). Highly recommended!

Such a cosy and warm restaurant. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was great. My lamb dish could have had a little more meat in it but outside of that I couldn’t fault it. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Food bland despite being described as spicy . When pointed out to waiter he didn't really want to know. Considering how much they changed this is very poor food. Indifferent staff. How do they get away with this? Won't be going back for sure

We had a superb meal here. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The lamb was so tender which is not always the case in this type of restaurant. Will definitely be returning.

We just turned up and were welcomed very warmly and had a fabulous meal. Given good advice when ordering. Really recommend it.

We nearly didn’t go to this Indian restaurant because of some of the comments on TripAdvisor. We have no idea why this restaurant has bad review’s! NONE!!! We can only think some snobbish locals have something against the restaurant! The service from when we entered to when we left was great, the food was great and the surroundings were stunning. Whoever owns this restaurant is trying very hard to deliver a lovely experience at a reasonable cost. What more can you ask for ?

Lovely place,found food to be very good even the wife said she liked it and she rarely goes to Indian restaurants.Will certainly visit again when we're in Broadway.

Shockingly poor quality food - an insult to call it Indian cuisine - it was just so so bad, a watery sauce with no added spices made my dish completely unpalatable. The owner / manager and chef should all be ashamed to offer this muck - I wouldn't eat it if it were free. Shame on you all - maybe think about sacking the so called chef and replace with someone who understands you need to add spices and other ingredient to the base sauce

We were in the area and needed a takeaway so gave them a go. Found the menu online, ordered over the phone and collected in person, all of which was very easy. Given collection time was accurate and I had a very short wait in their comfortable seating area. The staff were friendly and helpful and took my cool bag to the kitchen to put my order in it directly. Food was hot and excellent. We had 2 mains, a Kashmiri rice and Peshwari naan and it was plenty for us both. All full of flavour and not overly spicy. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Great service, probably the best Indian meal we’ve ever had, refined, full of flavour, great naan. Just all round excellence. We will be back.

We were visiting Broadway for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, really looking forward to an Indian to finish a great day, the building is wonderful, the staff actually very polite and helpful, however, sadly the food was awful, tasteless, very salty, we left most of the dishes. Very disappointing,

Whilst staying in broadway I wondered what the Broadway restaurant served. I am so pleased I looked into what they did as we just had a lovely evening meal with the service to match. I don’t normally write reviews but thought I would so others can enjoy a very very nice indian meal.

First visit. Lovely stone walled high beamed dining room. Have to say, as a frequent curry eater, that my meal, made with chicken thigh, was one of the best I've had. Juicy, flavoursome meat much tastier than breast meat. Staff friendly and efficient.

Having enjoyed an early evening walk admiring the Christmas lights in Broadway, despite the mixed reviews we thought we would give the restaurant a visit. The ambience of the building was lovely with the facilities and service good. However, as Indian food lovers, we found the food itself bland and lacked anything special for the price. We enjoyed the evening but it was not good enough to make a return visit.

Not our first visit and we were glad that we returned. The service was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend and return

I have to agree with Kelly and Colin, the food last night was awful. I can’t even commend the service as that was below par too. Not much else to say… shocking!.

So disappointed booked a table a month ago for my birthday so looking forward to it. On arrival had to wait for table to be made up ( even though pre booked)!! And lots of free tables . We were sat next to the entrance door so cold every time door opened asked if could move told tables all booked ( nobody sat at those the whole time we were there!!!! Ordered 4 poppadoms 2arrived asked for more never arrived . Main corse dissapointing rice wAs all clumped together as if out of a microwave packed keema naan perfectly round and small also looked bought in , the chicken in curry was obviously added into sauce not marinated tasted reheated no flavour . We were so dissapointed with whole experience would not recommended sadly

Visited while we we’re staying at Broadway campsite. Very friendly welcome on arrival, plenty of staff and all very efficient. Drinks order and popadoms arrived promptly. Main course was hot and plentiful- my husband ordered sea bass and got 2 large fillets. I’m not sure why people give this place bad reviews as we couldn’t find fault. Would definitely go again if we visit Broadway.

This is not a authentic food- its unrecognisable tastless and bland dishes. We gave our feedback to the owner who responded "this is what we do" 😳. The building is stunning, the staff give a good service and the poppadoms are nice!

Shocking. The takeaway was honestly the worst Indian food I've had (and I've sampled a a lot). Rubbery naan and bhajis, bland shashlick and unrecognidable jalfrezi with no real sauce. All of it felt like microwaved leftovers. And yet, the restaurant buildind is beautiful inside. Go figure.

Really interesting selection of dishes and fantastic friendly service, definitely recommend this restaurant.

We have been going to Broadway for years and never considered going to the Indian restaurant. Because there were staff shortages elsewhere we decided to go to this restaurant for the first time and we're really pleased we did. The food was delicious. The restaurant itself was lovely. Staff friendly. We will definitely go again next time we're in the lovely Broadway 😋

Excellent food and presentation, value for money. Very attentive and friendly staff helpful and all happy and smiling, adding to the ambience.

Possibly the worst curry I've had. We booked for 8.00, they weren't full, but our table wasn't ready. We ordered drinks, starters and mains. After 45mins we hadn't got our starters, I complained and it turned out we had been forgotten. After a wait of over an hour, our starters arrived, my partner had three prawns on what seemed to be a small reheated japatti, I was served what seemed like shop bought poppadums with chat, the lime pickle was drowned in oil, there were raw chopped onions instead of an onion salad and the mango chutney was like runny honey. The mains were served but they brought the wrong rice, the server didn't know we had ordered sides, my partners lamb roman josh was bland and tasteless, my chichen dhansak was devoid of lentils and tasted of coconut, whilst they used tiny strips of chicken which looked like offcuts. The sides were just ok. It's frequented it seems mainly by locals and they have no competition in the village so can get away with the poor quality we experienced. The business would not last a week in London. The one star reviews that have been left are the one's to believe. I wish we hadn't gone near the place. Terrible food and appalling service.

Good food but more of a Mediterranean feel than Indian. We ordered a chicken achari and Khara ma gosht with a shish kebab starter, fried rice and keema naan. The food was good if you had never tried these dishes before. But I didn’t get my curry fix as the achari wasn’t all that spicy and little if any pickle in it. The gosht was more like a Spanish or Moroccan dish it was nice but not at all like a gosht were use to. The rice, naan and kebab was good and more of an Indian taste the the mains. All in all it’s the only indian restaurant around here so if you love your curry try it but deffo ask for more spice or pickle if ordering what I did.

First meal out post lockdown, great food and service from start to end. Place was busy all night and deserves to be so.

Just in from a great meal at this place , was impressed , food very fresh ,naan bread was the best , nice ambiance , built in an converted barn , staff very attentive , and our waiter Ayman was a great waiter with lots of personality and very professional approach , above all we found it reasonably price , see you all on our next visit ....... Visited tonight for first time, really lovely place highly recommend, food was fab, staff were lovely and reasonably priced, had a really lovely evening!

We ate here twice and despite having a more limited menu because of the pre 17 May requirement to eat outside, there was still plenty of choice and the food was excellent. We were met at the desk to be told the ground rules - masks on away from the table, a one way system to/from the toilets and the requirement to track and trace on arrival. All sensible and very safe. If I had one suggestion; the first time we ate here, it was much colder and whilst there were heaters next to the tables which weren't under cover, there were no heaters under the covered bit which was still a bit cold. The second time we ate it was less cold so it wasn't an issue.

Terrible tasteless take away We had a take away for two while staying in Broadway. The Tandoori king prawns were like rubber and the swordfish bhuna was tasteless. The Nan bread , rice and poppadoms were ok . It came to £35 for the two of us so not cheap. I had to use salt and pepper to make mine taste of something which is a first. There is obviously a serious problem with this place and hope they get it sorted by the time they open the restaurant later in May.

As a family, and with groups of friends, pre.covid. we have had decent meals at this restaurant. Always been a bit pricey, but nice atmosphere. My recent takeaway, April 2021, was so poor, we will never eat there again. I have emailed the restaurant, but no respnse at all to my criticism. My tandoori chicken main was two halves of a chicken carcass from which all the meat had been removed. Just spiced bones. The channa daal ordered as a side with it, was just a tin of chickpeas emptied into a container. No spice, no masala, no garlic. Bland, tasteless chickpeas. The naan was fine. The meals that the rest of my family ordered were all OK, but nothing special. We'll be travelling a bit further in future and going back to Chutneys in Stratford.

Staying in Broadway and would have loved to visit restaurant. Ordered a takeaway and was fantastic. Amazing flavours. Totally recommend and hope we can eat in next time we are in the area

As recently moving to the area only 1 mile from the restaurant we decided to try this as a takeaway during COVID-19, instead of ordering from our usual in Evesham. To say disappointed would be a major understatement and would not recommend to anybody. Bland food with no taste whatsoever, small portions, not even full when opened, freezing cold food and overpriced. Can’t believe we wasted £30 on this takeaway.

We have enjoyed this restaurant since it opened many years ago. To find a restaurant local to us AND not overpriced tourist rubbish. Exceptional, freshly prepared with spices distinct and happy to pay the premium for it. No more. Something has caused this to plunge. After a couple of mouthfuls we've decanted this to the bin. Bland and mostly unpleasant. And still charging premium.What a shame, they will have to rely on none returning passing trade in the future

Nice food in a nice restaurant. Portions weren’t enormous but plenty for us. All very nicely cooked and presented. Very enjoyable.

Having read some recent reviews we were slightly nervous. How bad could it be?All I know is that our evening deserved full marks. Warm welcome, lovely setting, quick but not overbearing service and the food really was very tasty.My wife asked for a lamb rogan josh. It’s not on the menu but no problem - the kitchen made it for her and she said it was delicious.After a mixture of starters - lamb, chicken and prawn, I had the Chicken Jalfrezi. It was nicely spiced and very much enjoyed.The staff were good-humoured and we very much look forward to returning.

My husband and I had dinner here today because we had had a takeaway earlier in the week and wanted to see if they could produce such delicious food a second time. They did not disappoint! I had the chicken tikka and also paneer baked in the oven with tomatoes and onions, ( would have been a great vegetarian dish on its own). My husband had the butter chicken and pilau rice and the vegetable curry, we opted for the drier version as the butter chicken had more than enough sauce. The food here is really tasty, not the usual mass-produced Indian food, it tastes clearer and fresher and really home made. Great service, too.

Fantastic curry, fantastic service, will definitely be back. Visited many years ago and it was just as we remembered. Highly highly recommend. Will be back.

I visited for the first time as a party of four in Covid restrictions in late October. I love Broadway and was so looking forward to this unfortunately we were all bitterly disappointed. Parking can be hit and miss so be aware. The building is drop-dead gorgeous, cotswold stone and beams, the staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. But the food was a big let down. All of the starters were minuscule. I ordered the home made vegetable and paneer samosas, the water assured me that they were 200% home made. I was served with two tiny fillo triangles that were lack lustre. For the main course I went for a lamb dish, a Nehari. A fellow diner ordered the chicken Nehari. They turned out to be completely different. Mine had a watery and utterly tasteless sauce. I had to ask for it to be changed. I was offered an alternative. It I chose a familiar Dansack, it came quite quickly but was another culinary road crash. Far too sweet to the point that despite my hunger I had to leave it. I was going to be kind to the waiter and say it was okay but I felt obliged to point out that it was inedible. I am a great fan of Indian food and consider myself to have a reasonable understanding of what to expect. This fell far short of the mark. I am very sorry to have to leave such a poor review.

What an awful experience - When we booked we should have known better, they were rude on the phone and hung up before we had finished speaking. When we arrived at 6pm we were told that we only had until 7.30 to vacate the table as they had a regular booking that wanted the table - WHO IS THAT PERSON, THIS IS AN AWFUL PLACE?They had clearly put us by the window - As restaurants do (IT WAS EMPTY) - To attract guests in; at the cost of our experience, however to be fair, given the poor quality of food, poor service and rudeness, they could have sat us in the street and we would never go back - At the end of our awful meal, consisting of low quality processed meat and sauce that was of some weird rendition of what we had actually ordered the waiter came over, poured the whole of the remaining wine into my husband's glass and said "Drink the wine you have thirty minutes" - My glass was empty and my husband was apparently on a timer DO NOT EAT HERE IT IS GOD AWFUL AND THEY ARE RUDE - THE FOOD IS POOR AND THE LACK OF SERVICE COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Food good but the treatment received from waiting staff terrible! so fast you would not believe, very impressed until they asked us to vacate the table in one hour twenty minutes. Bill slapped on the table and drinks still to be finished. When complaining we were told we had a two hour slot, that would have been fine but this wasn't shared until we were told leave. Would not recommend due to our poor experience.

First visit last week, when we found food to be excellent but service basic almost to the point of rudeness. Booked again on the assumption that food would again be excellent and service improved. Food was indeed excellent...service very very poor. Actually felt sorry for the staff: little Covoid procedures in evidence and people queuing at the door.Part of our meal never arrived; we were then asked to vacate the table (no desserts offered) to accommodate those waiting outside - that hadn't booked.I obviously don't know the circumstances, but it smacked of owner greed: too many guests on too many tables with too few staff.Won't be going back: very good food but very disappointing evening out.

Tan decepcionante que la falta de atención de la gente fuera tan evidente y sin control.

Nosotros tres adultos visitamos aquí el viernes por la noche a través de una reserva por Internet. Inmediatamente nos llevaron a nuestra mesa, se tomó el pedido de bebidas y se repartieron los menús. Todos tuvimos el primer plato de langostinos jhinga barah y estaba más que delicioso. Los platos principales eran jalfrezzi de ternera, pollo con mantequilla y korma de pollo con arroz pilau y naans peshawari. Todos eran igualmente deliciosos, muy sabrosos. Un restaurante popular con un servicio de comida para llevar había un flujo constante de clientes, sin duda volvería.

We had dinner here on a Saturday. Food was good my husband had a mixed grill which he said was excellent. The sauce on my curry could have been warmer. Service was slick if a little rushed or so it felt. One concern was a note book was passed from table to table to fill in track and trace and menus were passed from table to table defintely no sanitising going on. The building the restaurant is set in is lovely.

Went for a meal last night was a bit apprehensive about going after reading all the bad reviews. We booked at 8 o’clock after sending an email in the daytime and received a response as soon as they opened via email that our table had been booked. I have to say everything was fine the tables were at a safe distance the waiters were masks all evening and the food was lovely we were not hassled at all by the waiters to order or rush actually we had to ask them for the bill. All in all it was a nice experience and the building itself is absolutely lovely. I think possibly in busy times the waiters probably could come across a little abrupt but we had a good experience last night and the food was lovely.

I visited the restaurant for dinner on 16th September with my husband and son. A lovely venue in an extremely pretty village. The staff were friendly and the service was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

No issues with venue or food quality, however Service and Covid precautions are not good enough.Several waiters are not wearing masks or only wearing them partially.We sat down at 6.30pm, by 6.38pm we had been asked 3 times to make or menu selection, we were rushed to order.Poppadoms were cleared without asking if we were finished.Dessert menu given but when we ordered we were told our selection not available - why couldn’t the waiter just be honest from the beginning?Finally the bill arrived and it was £27 over charged - we had been charged for dessert food from another table.We recommend the venue and food quality but unfortunately we won’t be returning because of the poor service level and lack of Covid precautions.

We had a take away, I'm sorry to say we didn't enjoy the meal at all and also I think the food is very over priced. Wouldn't eat there or have a take away again!

Went here last night and left disappointed. Lovely restaurant but tables too close together for my liking. Waiters were the most miserable ones I’ve come across in a while. Yes they were polite enough but just looked like they wanted to go home. The food was okay, both curries were nice but my fried rice was sitting in about an inch of oil at the bottom of the dish. Most worrying was the total lack of Covid precautions. No track and trace and there was a disinfectant spray along with a temperature checker on a table in a waiting area all of which were never used! One local family who came in said they liked this restaurant as it’s exactly the same as it used to be, unlike others. That said it all really. Staff couldn’t care less about people’s safety!! They gave us the bill and found they had charged us for 4 poppodums even though we only ordered and ate 2! We couldn’t be bothered to argue with then and just wanted to leave!

Enjoyed a lovely Indian meal .great quality ingredients, beautifully cooked. Service was friendly and polite. Great location. I highly recommend.

First time visit to this little gem. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and we both had differant lamb dishes which were excellant. the service was just right. If i pass through again we would deffinately visit. it is recommended to visit especially at weekends.

Thoroughly enjoyed our delicious food. Indian cuisine is my husband’s favourite and he said his lamb dish was one of the best he had ever tested... so tender. Great service. Wish we were local. Prices are commensurate with quality :)

After reviewing some of the negative reviews almost cancelled, we are so pleased the we changed our minds.It was very busy Bank Holiday Monday night booked table for 7.30pm. Greeted very well by manager sat down had pre drinks taken to table prompt service for order taken.Food was so tasty and delicious and pleased to say to the manager how lovely the food and service was. We will be back, so don’t be put off by poor reviews, we travelled from Abbots Bromley Staffordshire to eat at Broadway Indian. Back soon.

We stopped off for an evening meal here as a couple. The setting of Broadway is serene and the restaurant itself is in a beautiful and interesting old converted barn. The food was high quality - the portions were perhaps a little on the smaller side, but the price for our two person meal was very reasonable considering the setting (our bill including slightly over-ordering on the food & drinks for two people came to £46). Surprised to see one or two reviewers mentioning it being 'pricey' - considering the setting I thought the prices were fine and just pretty standard!Would definitely return.

Have just spent August Bank Holiday in Broadway, Cotswolds and the Indian cuisine this evening really topped off a lovely break. The food was authentic and delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Had a very good meal at the restaurant but were very disappointed that they were not taking part in the scheme - as we discovered when we got the bill.

We visited the restraunt during a mini break. Very pleased with the quality of the food as it was very tasty and nice for a treat. A bit pricey though for what we had. Service was great.

booked at last minute and they where able to get us a table. Thought they might have been part of the government's eat out scheme, but no. Myself my wife and daughter all had meals , no starters or deserts and a couple of soft drinks, bill was £75. Very expensive for a very average meal with very poor service. We live locally but will never visit again.

We were looking forward to a sit down Indian Meal after a fair trip from Polperro. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I wasn’t too happy that we and everyone else were left standing at the door waiting to be seen on arrival. Once inside though the interior is great, very comfortable. Our service was excellent despite being attended to by the one word response waiter whose grumpiness ended up being a source of amusement. I’ll forgive him as it was stonkingly hot! Would definitely come back!

Great venue on the green of Broadway, with a classy and breezy ambience. The staff were welcoming, prompt, friendly and aren't afraid to have a joke with you.I'm not one to give a compliment to Indian based restaurants other than it was 'good' or 'very nice', but this for me was exceptional and I would definitely recommend it to regulars or visitors of the area.We would come back here in a instance.Thank you.

We chose to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary here way back in March. Lockdown had other ideas. 4 months later we finally made it. Subtle service, quite but friendly, in beautiful surroundings. Tastefully decorated, the waiters serve food fit for a king. We bought dishes to share, so glad we did. Well presented and tasty. The waiters didn’t pester you throughout the meal, they hung back and let you enjoy. I can’t stand being pestered when you’ve a mouthful of food.

The restaurant is decorated well and due to covid considerations the staff had ensured diners were not on top of each other which was good. Staff were friendly enough but I have to say the food, whilst nice, lacked flavour compared to other Indian restaurants, my partner agreed so it wasn't just my tastebuds. Worth a visit though.

Firstly the restaurant is beautiful. After that there is not a lot of positives. The food was nothing special it was quiet bland. It was also overpriced that maybe because it was in Broadway. This is the only Indian in Broadway doubt it would survive if there were any competition.

The food was excellent exceeded all expectations & was enjoyed by all hence score of 4 Worryingly not much evidence of being Covid Secure though, sticky well thumbed reusable menu (had to leave table to wash hands after ordering)no track & trace taken or temperature, no hand gel evident on arrival.

Another great meal during Cheltenham racing week. Great staff and tasty, well-produced food. Hugely recommended.

First time here and not disappointed! There's a great menu which isn't loaded up with "British" style Indian cuisine - the fish menu is really impressive and there's beef on the menu too which I've never seen on an Indian menu before. The service is prompt and attentive despite the fact that it was a busy Saturday night with plenty of dine in and takeaway customers. The restaurant doesn't feel claustrophobic which makes for a very satisfying dining experience, recommended!!

We decided to go here again after some time away! We had 1 lamb dish & chicken too! Before the meal we had a selection of dips too with poppadoms all very tasty too!!! Service is good & unobtrusive for all customers I feel! We had fried rice to go with the main dishes! all very nicely prepared to order!We had no more room for a sweet afterwards! We had 1 white wine & a beer for £44 its good value too so I feel!

Prior to a business trip in this area I contacted the restaurant to enquire about hot curries and was delighted that they could provide them. Beautiful premises, high ceilings, tastefully decorated, the building is the former studio of the American artist John Singer Sargent. The staff made some wonderful recommendations once they knew that we enjoyed hot curries. Adding fresh green chillies to our Sag Bhaji was a revelation which sat well with my chicken Vindaloo and garlic chicken chilli. The curried vegetables were a perfect accompaniment as were the pickles and tamarind sauce. All deliciously hot and full of flavour but not overpowering. For us they got it spot on and as people who eat curry on a regular basis across the UK, this was one of the most memorable meals we have eaten. Highly recommended.Thank you so much .

Unfortunately friends recommended after having eaten here previously and enjoying it. My husband also had eaten there before. Last night it wasn’t very good. Overpriced for what you get. Prawn main course had four prawns, cost nearly £15 and didn’t include rice - jalfrezi my husband had was extremely spicy and he loves spicy food - just too much spice last night. Our friends were disappointed as they eat there regularly and neither of them were impressed. Service was very good and the staff were pleasant and professional. It was one of those difficult situations where it wasn’t quite bad enough to complain but not good enough that we would go back. A real shame.

Aloo tikki starter and peshawar kash murgh main. Delicious and flavoursome, properly spiced whole thighs off the bone. Something different from the bland, sweet fodder I normally have to tolerate. Will be back again

After moving to Broadway last year, I have visited this restaurant 6 times. I heard some reports in the week that I felt I needed to check for myself. I was shown the following Kitchen - Absolutely spotless and bigger than Claridges in London, where I went for my 50th and hence shown around.No microwave and at least 6 talented chefsFood fresh daily, and you can tell.Waiter service - 5 star, Zac and team know there stuff, just ask and they will let you know what meal will suit youManagement - Hassan and Rahman are very attentative even when very busy. Thank you for last night, I felt you answered all my questions and you should have a Michelin Star badge

Rarely use this restaurant as encountered previous poor experiences but we did last night due to convenience. The best thing about this restaurant is the setting but in terms of food.....just awful. The food is chopped up into tiny pieces like baby food and no matter what dish you order, it generally tastes the same....BLAND. Absolutely no flavour or variation and the customer service is indifferent. The prices are through the roof and do not reflect the quality of food expected. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful location, save your stomach cramps and drive to an alternative restaurant!

Very nice restaurant with pleasant atmosphere. We booked a table and were quickly seated. We ordered and were served within 10 minutes. Cobra on tap. Starters, popadoms, curry’s, rice, Bombay potatoes and naan breads for 2 was £64 so reasonable for a Saturday night.

We have been for dinner a couple of times recently. It is housed in a beautiful Grade 1 Cotswold building with vaulted ceiling and is very atmospheric and popular. They have a very varied choice of Indian food and the standard of both food and service is excellent. Will definitely come again.

Whilst visiting The Broadway Hotel we took the short walk to this restaurant. We have eaten here before and enjoyed our meals so were amazed that there had been some bad reviews placed on your site and hoped that the standard had not dropped since our last visit. We were welcomed by very friendly waiters who showed us to our table. Even though it was quite busy for a Thursday night in January the service was very efficient, the food was superb and we would rate this indian very very highly. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the evening, no complaints whatsoever!

We have been here a few times and always have a fabulous meal. This time, on my annual spa break with a girl friend, we had an early dinner. Again, everything was hot and delicious with very helpful and friendly staff. Will return.

We were delighted by the exceptional service and ambience. The food was delicious, very simply served, and with freshly cooked Naan bread. It was a much better value meal than one taken at another Broadway eatery.

We visited this restaurant whilst we were staying in broadway and were delighted we found it! The food was excellent, good portions and interesting options on the menu and the service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

We went for a meal for New Years with some friends. The restaurant was busy, and we did feel a little rushed, but I had the best chicken Jalfrezi that I have ever had. Cooked to perfection with a unique taste. I did ask for extra spice which I was advised to ask for by friends who had eaten there before, and I’m Glad I did since I like my food quite spicy.

We arrived early for our meal and the restaurant is extremely airy and decorated nicely, the waiters were attentive but we had a sense of we were almost being hurried so they could reuse our table as soon as possible, I appreciate it was New Year’s Eve but we hadn’t been sat down at the table for much more than an hour and we have 2 small children.

We went for dinner on Saturday night. We had booked but it seems that just means you go to the front of the queue but we only had to wait a few minutes. The building is beautiful with interior stone walls and a vaulted barn-like ceiling.

We enjoyed a meal here for my partners birthday. We called in about 7pm (Saturday) and we hadn’t booked, they were busy and said we should call back in an hour, which we did and were glad we did. I had the chicken jalfrezi that was very tasty. Staff we friendly, would recommend and eat here again.

Food was good with a few fishes we hadn't heard of or tried before, plenty of options for everyone including a number of veggie dishes.

My wife & I visited this restaurant on a stormy night in late December - the establishment was buzzing with large Christmas Parties but the staff looked after our table of 2 with fantastic speedy service - all the staff were really nice

Visiting relatives in the area, went on a Saturday evening and were sat at a table on the mezzanine which was very novel. Food was excellent, the way the building has been converted into a restaurant is stunning, but the attitude of the staff is abysmal today the least. They seemed disinterested whilst taking our order, constantly calling across loudly to other waiters serving other tables. It didn’t improve as the evening progressed, The food was the saving grace - excellent.

This is a superb restaurant that is nearly in its fifth year. The owner is extremely professional and friendly. The staff work as a cheerful team and you can see their passion for the excellent food and service. Highly recommend.

This as got to be the best Indian restaurant i have been in been coming in here for the last 3 year

We stumbled across the village of Broadway and the Broadway Indian a couple of years ago while on holiday here with our children. We're staying here for a few days child free so we just had to go back to the Indian. Absolutely love the building in which its housed, amazing. Really lovely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. And the food...... Fantastic! We both had lamb dishes and they were to die for. Lovely fresh naan bread and the rice with fruit and nuts was delicious. Looking forward to our next stay in the Cotswolds so we can come here again!

Called in for a quick supper as our local in Willersey had just stopped serving food and it was a real treat - the food is delightful and they obliged us by boxing up what we were unable to finish to take home with us

Beautiful conversion of an old coach house into an Indian restaurant. Drink and food excellent but most of the waiters need training in manners and how to behave around customers.
