Cardamom in East Hampshire

Authentic Indian for as it should be, love the food its not got all the bright coloured food colourings in the dishes that so many others restaurants create, its original and incredibly tasty.

We had a curry delivered from Cardamom, once again everything was extremely good. A while ago we had a couple of deliveries which were disappointing but the last two have been very good again so maybe the old chef if back. Keep it up Cardamom, when you are good you are very good. We will be back.

We have been regular customers of Cardamom since it opened and have always been delighted with the food and service, so much so we have recommended it to all our friends. We ordered a meal a week of so ago and were very disappointed- what has happened? New chef? Nothing was as good as it had been, even down to the popadoms, the spicy were burnt and the plain were soggy, the main courses, side dishes and breads were all far from the normal standard, the only thing nobody moaned about was the rice. Such a shame and disappointment. We won’t be rushing back.

As typical with Fri night treat night we ordered an Indian takeaway and went back to the Cardamom. Well, we weren't disappointed. Ordered on line and received an immediate discount on our order. We ordered Chicken Madras, chicken shashlik and a very delicious paneer main, together with the normal Bombay potatoes, popadums, chuntneys and mushroom rice. It's not often that the house is quiet, but you could hear a pin drop, the food was fantastically delicious, spices well balanced bringing joy with every mouthful. Well done to the experts at the cardomom for giving us this culinary escapism from the stresses of life.

We always have a take-away meal from Cardamom on the last Friday of the month (Payday!) and we just love the food, it's always delivered promptly, piping hot and by a very cheerful delivery guy. Portions are more than adequate, so much so that there is always more than enough left over for a good lunch the next day.

Best Indian takeaway in Waterlooville!! The Chicken Tikka Balti is so delicious, the order arrived early was nice and hot and everything tasted so fresh. Loved it! This will definitely be my go to in the future.

Wow food is really full of flavour here and happy to help with any adaptations needed . Will defo be returning and thanks to Naz for all the help when ordering ! Defo give this place a try .

Have tried all the Indians around this area I live in Waterlooville, Their service is the best I’ve ever had even being a takeaway how polite And helpful they are! The food is unbelievable so tasty and always delivered on time, if for any reason it will be late they even message to say it’s slightly delayed!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was great and so flavoursome will be defo retuning ! Staff were great to any adaptations and did a great job.

What the title says! Had to chuck my whole chicken biriyani and veg curry that comes with it in the bin! Whole thing swimming with oil and that's all I could taste with a slight hint of garlic. All i ate was the pappadoms and mango chutney. Won't be going here again!!

Cardamom has become our new go to takeaway, never anything but excellent! Have already recommended to friends, all of which have enjoyed it too. Food is always delivered on time and hot!

Another lovely curry easy to deal with delivered on time would 100% order from here again and would highly recommend

Take away last evening was exceptional. Every dish was first class. Prompt delivery service and generous portion size, plus my wife wanted a slight variation on one dish and this was accomplished without hesitation. Will be back - keep up the very high standard.

My husband and I have just experienced one of the finest Indian cuisine of recent years. We both enjoy Indian food and felt it necessary to relay the outstanding amazing taste and quality to others, please try and you will not be disappointed.

Ordered 3 takeaways last saturday. My chicken tikka korai was very good as was my son's balti. But my other son's lamb naga wasn't. While the sauce was good, unfortunately the lamb was very tough and practically uneatable.
