Not impressed. Rice good but £13 for soggy tasteless pork balls. 😔Won’t go there again

We ordered here a few days ago and loved it. Food- The food was brilliant, all of it tasted really good. Perfect place to get Chinese Service- The staff are all friendly, we got it to order and the delivery was around 30 mins which is really fast. I would prefer to wait and get something tasty than a rushed item that tastes bad. But this place did both. My other half and I forgot to order a few things so we also went for a collection. The staff were really nice and very efficient. They got the extra items done in 5-10 mins which was nice. We will order from here again. The place also has a nice 5 Star Food Hygiene rating which is great to see.

Delicious food, actually chose to not include a breakfast at hotel one morning as I knew I wanted their food the night before! Great options on menu, good pricing and location. First choice for food in Haywards.

Great food, still good value and a great easy online delivery service .

This is not a restaurant Trip Advisor - it is a take away with a home delivery option. Yuk. The beef curry had raw beef in it! The Thai king prawn curry was OK as far as the prawns were concerned but the sauce boring. Probably won't bother again using this place ( a bit sad as have been using the Kitchen for years despite its various change of hands over that time).

It is very conveniently located near the train station and not far from the town centre. A good selection of takeaway options and affordable prices are available. The staff are helpful with suggestions and you do not have to wait long for your takeaway. The food is tasty and I will definitely be returning.

To expensive for the low quality and small portions. If they do a offer then maybe worth it

Not sure why you have to use pumped cheap chicken! It’s not nice and it tastes vile! Sort your supply base out and start providing decent produce instead of ripping off your customer base! Get a grip as I won’t be back for sure until you sort it!

Always a good experience and better value than a number of other local Chinese take aways.

This skipidi toilet is a delicious skipidi resturant and cafateria. I love the among us slurp juice!!!!!!

Tried calling for a delivery for over 60 mins but the phone was off the hook. Not cool!

Popped in to place and order in person and as always great experience, very nice lady taking the order and even cracking jokes! She advised it would be 15 -20 mins so I had a pint and came back and it had just been bagged. Everything was great aside from the slightly overcooked squid but the chicken with cashews I'm yellow bean sauce was an absolute stand out! Great service and great food!

Called ahead. Said the food would be 25 minutes to collect. Waited 1 hour and 25 minutes. Staff struggled to know people's orders despite names being given and printed on the recipt. They proceeded to stand and shout each order out. Absolute chaos. Average food. Don't waste your time and money. The place is a circus.

Best Chinese takeaway for miles. We order atleast 3 times a month and are never disappointed!

I ordered my food from here online using WhatsApp This was very simple and I received a reply in good time giving me advise on allergens that I had queried. They were most accommodating and we received the order in time of our request. As for the quality of food, it was superb!! Best chicken balls I have seen and everything was fresh and really tasty according to my family. I had a limited choice of food as I am dairy intolerant and a coeliac but they found me dishes I could eat. The staff are incredibly helpful. I don't think I would use anywhere else for chinese take out!

Ordered delivery and told me I’m out side my house….. wrong town !!!! Food was cold as was I standing outside my house for 20 minutes waiting for the said delivery that was at my house 😂😂😂

Pretty average. Perfectly edible and possibly the best the area but don't expect to be blown away. They get very busy at peak times and deliveries can take longer then expected.

Ordered a takeaway at 6.15pm and 1 hour 45 mins later.. called and asked when it would be out of delivery, or if we could collect to speed things up. Response was in the next 55mins.. to which I asked for a refund and to cancel the order as we have 2 babies and would be in bed. They said ‘actually sorry for the confusion it’s out for delivery now’ which was obviously a lie as still no delivery.

Phoned for delivery at 7.00pm and told very busy but would be delivered at 8.30 Fine no problem 8.30 called them and told very busy another half hour frustrated but fine 9.00 no food so I started to cook whatever I could find 9.15 door bell rings I told the girl too late and she starts giving me grief so I told her to **** off wont be using again

Takeaway for 6 adults - everything was greasy and bland. Wish I’d read previous reviews before ordering. So disappointing as Canton Kitchen has been around for years - not sure what’s happened.

As others have said very overpriced. Worst of all a long black and silver hair wrapped round my char Su pork! Clearly hygiene not a priority. Will not be returning as obviously rest of food went in bin. Complete waste of over £30! You have been warned!

Been using Canton for years but it has gone downhill. Very expensive for the quality of food. Noodles have nothing in them for 6 quid, barely any meat or anything else apart from noodles and so bland!! The dishes are watery and flavourless, dont waste your money!

Second takeaway. Food is very good, cooked right before your eyes. Excellent service. All the staff work really hard.

Canton Kitchen takeaway is always a nice treat. Food is always fresh tasting and great portion sizes. Prices are really good, service is always fast and pleasant. It's the only Chinese takeaway I use!

Absolute rubbish, worst Chinese I’ve ever had. I travel all over the UK working at trade events. I Drove 30 min from the South of England Show Ground. Ordered on arrival, waited 40 min… Ribs were just bone - no meat at all. Sweet & Sour sauce over powered by the tasted of vinegar. Beef, ginger & spring onion dish was tasteless. Egg fried rice was boiled rice with a bit omelette thrown in. I love Chinese food and eat at leat once a week all over the country - this really was the worst take away I’ve ever had…

The food was delivered on time. Everything after that was a disappointment. The quality of the food is extremely poor. Cantonese pork was basically filled with bean sprouts with a few slices of pork on the top. The ribs were so tough and leathery. The microscorpic portions of rubber chicken were bland and tastelss. The rice portion at £5.60 was miniscule and was not made clear at any point that we could have gone larger. Absolutely no value for money and very misleading. When confronted with the complaint they refused to give the name of the manager. And then offered a discount 15% £7.50 for the appalling service and then cut us off before we could arrange payment. Honestly wished we had just gone to Marks and Spencers. Ruined the special birthday evening. Please don't waste your money there are other takeaways

Lovely place with quality Chinese food

Had a delivery from them a few times, (yes they delivery to Balcombe for only £2.50!!) the food is delicious, one of the best I’ve ever tasted, and always so hot (I actually have to wait for it to cool down before eating it), generally been with me within 30 minutes of ordering, can not recommend them enough!

Best chilli beef sadly we had to order from somewhere else last time but tonight Canton kitchen got everything spot on again!! Dumplings are the best

Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style is so tasty, and its price is quite affordable. Staffs are very kind. Make sure you bring cash, because the payment is only by cash :) or bank transfer is possible

Lovely, great quality food. Fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned and fairly priced. The salt and pepper chips are the best me and my boyfriend have had, and we’ve tried them from many places up and down the country. The service is also especially good, the two ladies who take the orders are super friendly, helpful and always seem positive and up-beat. Properly good customer service. Recommend very very highly.

Food is ok, very expensive and some of it is quite bland. Only thing that is always great is hot and sour soup. Used to be great but gone down hill a bit. You also have to now spend £25 to get free prawn crackers!! Only accept cash for delivery and have now got rid of the online order system for whats app which isn't as good

Friendly service, prepared quickly. Food was ok. The meat was good - not full of gristle or greasy. But overall the meal was bland with not enough flavour.

Don’t understand the negative reviews. I thought the food was great. Not greasy, tasty, decent portions and delivery was pretty quick for a Saturday night. No complaints from me.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Such a rubbish WhatsApp messaging delivery system. Not sure if they have had a change in the management, it used to be online ordering and 10 mins delivery. It took more than and hour and no delivery today, appalling service. Not even willing to offer any discounts on the order so cancelled it.

Takeaway less than 100 yards from the station. Never going to be haute cuisine, but good fresh cooking that reminds you chinese is not all about gloopy sauces

Pretty average chinese food, but friendlier staff than other chinese take aways. Some dishes better than others. Crispy beef and blackbean OK but curry I found quite oily on the occasion I ordered. Prawn crackers for £1.80 seems steep considering these are gratis at many other locations in the country.

Best Chinese for miles. Luckily the best curry house for miles is 30feet away too. Win win

A dependable Chinese with great tasting food and a very big menu. Everything is prepared fresh in front of you. Prices are good too. Same family have run it since I can remember, and they're very friendly and accommodating.

Best Chinese I've had I Haywards Heath so far. The duck in plum sauce is delicious. Great to see them cooking your food when you go in.

One of the best value Chinese places in sussex, most are overpriced with below par food, here it is consistent, very tasty with a varying menu to your typical chinese, The salt and pepper chips surprised me most, well seasoned and tasty veg. This is now my go to place in haywards heath

Take away for last 5 years and still our favourite in Haywards Heath, made fresh in front of you. Typically get Tofu with mixed vegetables and a king prawn dish - always fresh and well done.

Our food tonight was hardly edible with oil that tasted a week old dripping from it. Made us feel physically sick not wanting to touch the mains! Very disappointed as started using them more regularly but will definitely take business somewhere else now

Booked a take-a-way from Canton Kitchen having heard good things about them. Was told 40 minutes, gave it 45 minutes to be safe. Arrived to find six people in masks vaguely milling around outside. Waited for ten minutes, so now, 15 minutes after our order...

Think some people adding some earlier reviews for the Canton Kitchen are mixing it up with another place as it isn't a restaurant and there are not any tables. This is a fantastic little take out. We probably only order from here once or twice...

Pretty good dishes but prawn toast can be variable. Sometimes it's sublime, other times it's cooked too long.

Some of the order was missing when we got it home but that didn’t bother me nearly as much as paying over £50 for food I’d be embarrassed to feed my dog. The “chicken” in the chowmein was indescribable but rubbery and fatty in texture. Nothing tasted nice. Very disappointing, will never go back.

Used regularly over the years but the last twice food very average this time was given complementary crispy chilled beef from a complaint on previous take away and was the same as before soggy like rubber only place for it was the bin won’t ever use again shame as the food used to be really good new people not up to the job

Always had great food from here, Never been disappointed and have been able to order custom dishes from them with no problems from the staff. Good value for money and always had friendly staff when we have been in.

Haven’t had a Chinese takeaway in some time. Popped into Canton kitchen on the weekend and had prawn balls for the first time (we usually get pork or chicken) - they were fabulous!!! Nice big juicy prawns!! The rest of our meal was great. Will def be back!

Food is always freshly prepared in front of your eyes. Have been using this take away for over 15 years and it nevers disappoints. Sometimes it can be a long wait (weekends) but always worth the wait.

Right - It's 5 star, but it's a stern review. Chicken Noodles - Peoung Egg Fried Rice - It was only rice Chicken Balls - Very dirty, but very nice Tofu thing - Yep was seen as good Sweet n Sour - It's basically a chemical but gd So all in all, Canton is Cyantion, but someone else definetly won't like it - Grease fest and a living meme

Gold fast service, but not the greatest food quality. Everything seemed a bit and an tasteless. Like most Chinese takeaways, it's quite pricy and probably not value for money. the location is decent in what I'd call the second high street of Haywards Heath. It's right by Waitrose and the station, so it sees a lot of break time staff custom. Not bad, certainly not the best takeaway in town and probably not the best Chinese around either.

Food was ok but they clearly wanted to close at only 9:10 in the evening! Near empty, they obviously do not want or need the customers money?!?!
