Amazing coffee, first time being in this coffee shop and that staff were lovely. I had a latte, it’s a small cafe but it’s definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while

This is a great little spot for coffee and cake. The staff were really lovely and friendly. Coffee was great and the building itself was quirky and interesting. Highly recommend

We keep coming back to this coffee shop when we are in Canterbury. The coffee is superb and the cakes utterly delicious. The vegan carrot cake has to be tried. You would never know it is vegan! The staff are always so friendly and the 'loo with a view' is well worth a visit!

Very welcoming place! We loved the cold brew, it's a must-try but i would suggest to avoid using a plastic cup when it's not for a take-away.

Had had great coffee yesterday, so decided to try out for lunch. Had a ham and cheese toastie, followed by a carrot cake. Coffee (americano) proved excellent again. Toastie was fresh, hot and nicely filled. Carrot cake was simply delicious; one of the best I’ve tasted. Our young lady server was really friendly and helpful. Overall great lunch.

I saw quite a lot of good reviews about this place so I went out of my way to try it. I was quite disappointed. The coffee wasn’t the best and for £3.60 a small cup was given which wasn’t even filled to the top. A real shame and I hope that this was a one of as the reviews seem great.

Set over 3 floors, there's plenty of room to find a quiet spot and enjoy the great tasting Garage Coffee own roasted beans. Great coffee and bakery shop in the heart of Canterbury City centre close to the Cathedral where you can take a load off after touring the town, and enjoy a coffee and some great pastries, croissant and other home baked delights. 100% recommend.

It was our first stop in Canterbury on an early, wintry, weekend morning for a delicious gingerbread cruffin and coffee. It's a cosy cafe where you can watch the passerbys on the cobblestone street beyond while indulging in a pastry and hot tea or coffee.

Staff friendly and welcoming. Drinks served were tepid. Wobbly table sent drinks everywhere, staff happy to replace, requested drinks to be hotter. Still serviced them tepid. Overpriced for the size of the cups. Sort out the wobbly table because you were aware it was an issue as you informed us this happens!

Kaffee und heiße Schokolade für die Kinder. Sehr gut. Kuchen war gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Das ist absolut ein Pluspunkt. Durch die Nähe zum Zentrum (Kathedrale) gut zu erreichen.

This specialist coffee shop roast their own beans. They have a couple of tables outside and a number on the ground and first floors. The quality of our coffees were excellent and I was tempted by the beans they had for sale.

We were visiting Canterbury and came across this small delightful coffee shop. The staff were very helpful and we were fortunate to try some brownies and a slice of the baileys cake that they had. The cakes were heavenly and I recommend the fresh ground and brewed coffee. It is a small seating area downstairs but they do have additional seating available upstairs.

I researched coffee shops in Canterbury before visiting & chose Garage Coffee over all of them. Inside the coffee shop is nice- the tables, chairs, shelving, decor all suited the vibe. It was “busy” at the time of my visit- not queues, but they had a few orders on. I waited a few minutes to be served. I ordered a take away coffee- flat white, £3.20. Fine. While waiting, I read their menu. + 10p for a take away cup. Odd? Just include this in the price automatically? Coffee was really nice. The barista was very good & I could see he cared about making coffee. I always appreciate this.

Found this little cafe on the back streets whilst heading to the cathedral. Lovely friendly staff and very allergen aware which is great for me who is gluten intolerant. Highly recommend for a stop off when visiting Canterbury

A really adorable little coffee shop in the middle of Canterbury. I did find the wifi a little slow in here but it’s nice and quiet and is a good place to read and study. The hot chocolate they serve is one of my favourites in Canterbury and their baked goods are second to none (I particularly like the cookies they do!) Staff are always friendly and provide a fast service. Definitely recommend

Drinks are good as are snacks. But some staff just so obviously don’t want to be there and I’d love to go without being bombarded with music which is too loud to enjoy whilst sitting in what is a small space. We’d come here more often that we do but it’s pretty annoying 🤷🏽♀️

This place offers quick, fresh and healthy food which we thought ticked all the boxes as there's something for everyone - flatbreads, salads, baguettes, toasties, jackets, burritos, etc. It's a nice little building, split over three floors and very close to the amazing Canterbury cathedral. Not only can you eat-in and takeaway but they can potentially deliver locally too if ordered early enough. You won't be disappointed if you come here.

Follow up review - this is now my go to cafe in Canterbury, it’s bloody fantastic!!! Popped in for breakfast and a coffee and it was absolutely brilliant- coffee was really tasty and the eggs Benedict was a masterpiece - the bacon was thick and cooked to perfection!

Arrived to a very loud and noisy bar to find out our table was next to the door, across from the bar and next to noisy drinkers. We waited 15 mins for a drink although the drinkers at the bar where served ahead of our drinks order.....we knew then we had made a mistake! The food was excellent we both cleared our plate but atmosphere, service and attention to detail was lacking. Would not return in the immediate future.

Great little cafe with a lovely ambiance serving quality coffee and teas. Loved the cheesecake. Service was very friendly with no pressure to leave despite being just after closing time. Frankly a breathe of fresh air
