Fantastic night out at Gilmore girls quiz. What a great format for a quiz! Felt like halfway between quiz and club night! Lots of young people there but I’m in my 50s (with my 25 year old daughter) and still had an excellent night. Such good music I loved every single track s mix of old classics and new stuff. Dj/compare was brilliant and funny. Very professional set up with lots of door staff and staff so felt very safe and everyone really friendly. Food looked gorgeous and really good prizes too. Brilliantly organised and professional events company

Being of advancing (ish) years, the prospect of a night in town with the youngsters fills me with dread. Then I stumbled across a Vicky McClure interview talking about a day disco event for over 30s, and was immediately intrigued. Starting at 3pm, ending at 8pm, with a selection of tunes from our younger days, what's not to like!? The crowd were a good mix of ages, the drinks were much more reasonably priced than expected, and we danced our little socks off for 5 solid hours. Great idea, great event, only criticism.........no amount of g&ts can make Bohemian Rhapsody a danceable song! Home at 8.30pm with a chippy, in bed before 11pm.......lovely stuff, see you next month.

Great venue for live music. I've been twice now and name any other venue that you can park outside the front door. Make sure you get there after 6pm for onstreet parking. I was there to see Pink Floyd UK. Try the Baltic Market 5mins away for food before a concert.

Came for an 80s ‘day disco’- first if your advertising an event for ‘those of you old enough to remember the 80s ‘(ie people now in their 50/60s then have more than 10 chairs to sit on in the whole venue ! Second have the DJ do his research despite it being by an 80s ‘Disco’ there was no Adam ants, shalamar, ‘kool and the gang and no novelty records which were popular in the 80s like star trekkin or oops up side your head etc quite poor really

Booked Fleetwood Mac V Queen night. Definitely worth the money. Plenty of staff on the bars so there was no queuing even though it was very busy.. Arrived early so managed to get a seat. Overall a great night out in Liverpool

Such a disappointment for a Christmas night event. Advertised as the most Christmas of nights but about 3 Christmas songs were played. Even requesting one the DJ didn't play it. Waste of money.

This was possibly the worst night out besides it being fun the staff behind the bar on stage told my austidtic son to go home and if he didn’t like it to duck himself please don’t entertain these people as they are criminals and con artists

BRILLIANT PLACE!! Camp and Furnace is in the Baltic Triangle District, it looks like a Warehouse-Style with nice street art. It has a decent selection of draft and bottled beers, cocktails, soft drinks, all available in any of the bars. Staff and facilities are excellent. Recommended by a good few people a while ago but only recently had time to visit I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and is easy to locate along Greenland Street. A wonderful place,most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

I went with friends to see Rob lamberti (George michael tribute) camp and furnace was very well organised it was very busy but the staff were amazing and they had a place to put your coat in I would recommend it.

Went to see Ladytron. First time seeing a live band there, but been a few times before. The sound was crystal clear, better than some other places. The drinks were well priced, with a few separate bars. Toilets were great. Fab staff. Possibly my fav gig venue in liverpool,

Prizes are a joke bar expensive presenters a bit dull all in all they need to make more of an effort. We made the most of the night but there just living off a past reputation 🙁

Visited here today to have breakfast and watch the footy with my 2 mates, the footy wasn’t on but the menu caught our eye so we stayed for brekkie. I had the meat brunch box and it was lovely and fresh, really tasty. I even had spinach which I don’t eat normally. Will be back tomorrow haha

We had planned a trip away to Liverpool, having been last month and really loved the place. We googled things to do and found the Food Slam at Camp and Furnace, it looked amazing. We planned our day to end up for the last hour, walked in sweltering heat (fair enough, that was out of their control) only to found it closed, even though the internet details said closed at 7pm. Severally disappointed. We constantly checked the available information online and nothing has been posted about closing early.

I and three of my friends attended the Bridgerton lunch this afternoon . I am absolutely disgusted by the false advertising fiasco your company have committed . Now all from this promo that was experienced was a very good string quartet. The tea platter was from a local frozen food vendor and was defrosted on the side . Now I understand a silver service laid table was not to expected given the venue .But to not even be given a side plate and worse a serviette is an absolute disgrace . Great place for gigs and the live band are always good but the bar service is absolutely atrocious. Poorly staffed bars means at least a 20 minute wait at either bar. Who the hell puts 3 bar staff on bar when the place is rammed?...

¡No sabía qué esperar del bingo de bongo!Baratos plegables mesas y bancos de distancia! Eso fue muy pegajoso! ¡Bebidas caras! Toliets sucios! Me sentí como una sardina en una lata por la noche cuando la gente empacaba y era difícil entrar y salir de tu asiento. Hay que trepar sobre bancos y mesas. El bingo fue muy rápido y se detuvo por canciones que eran realmente buenas y la gente se divertía. Me encantó el bingo y la música. Lo único que tenía que ver con las bebidas era en las mesas y la gente que estaba de pie en los bancos y mesas para bailar, así que las bebidas iban a todas partes. Whether your in a couple, a friends group, out for a birthday/celebration or just want a brilliant night out - visit Mr Bongo (Jonny Lacey) himself at Bongo Bingo. along with Sl**ty Susie and the other dancers it is not a night to be missed. We were in the area for other reasons, but having gone to bongo nights back at home in Gorleston we knew we just could not miss out on going to the home turf of the 'bingo on Cocaine' as it has been dubbed at home. It did not dissapoint! in the slightest! that much so that friends are arranging a little road trip to see the boys themselves!

Heart sinks when when a friend or family member wants to come here. It's a draughty freezing warehouse with a pot holed concrete floor, no choice for vegetarians, rip off outrageously priced drinks, long bench seating like a factory canteen, slow service and filthy toilets.Of course it's bouncing of a night courtesy of all the plastic gangsters and their bags of white powder. But if you value good food, comfort and your safety: steer clear.

Arrived this Sunday for a roast - advertised to be one of the best in the UK.

Without out doubt one of the best nights out in Liverpool. You have to see it to believe it, some a amazing prizes to be won too.

Fantastic night of dancing, drinking and bingo, we haven't laughed, sang and danced this much in ages.

We amazingly finished third in the quiz still don’t know how we did it. The music was good and the atmosphere was too. Had a bop on the bench and stage. Fab night will be going again with our prize of a free entry to another event.

Given this one star as no star not an option. We had paid £10 for tickets for Abba/Chic night. No tribute act just a DJ who wasn’t even playing much Abba/Chic music. The queue was 10 deep at the bar, nowhere near enough staff on. The other bar was slightly better but only three staff on so waited 20 minutes to get served. The queue for the loo was about half an hour and a bolshy bouncer wouldn’t let us use the loos in the other bar saying they ‘were shut’. If this is the best you can do don’t bother.

Converted dock warehouse that has many functions. We went to watch the footie. Friendly efficient bar staff. Huge screen, great acoustics, easy seating and good selection of drinks. Didn’t try food but it looked good.

Attended a wedding here and must say the hype of this venue did not meet the expectations.

We were in this part of Liverpool were we planned to visit Black Lodge Brewery and decided to drop into Camp & Furnace for a quick drink as it's such a unique bar housed in such a big building.

Visited on Friday night ... the event as advertised was clearly stating it was open until 2 .my husband went to the bar at around 12.45 .was sitting outside told to go inside 10 minutes later .as soon as we sat down we were told to leave a couple of minutes later .why serve a group with drinks if you are planning on closing an hour earlier then advertised giving them less than 10 minutes to finish !!!!!!!!!

group of 6 of us, various ages all had an fabulous night, lots of laughter, dancing and generally had a ball. Couldn't recommend highly enough and will definitely be rebooking soon

We attended the champions league final...... OK the result was not what we wanted but the venue was brilliant. The staff & security were professional and made for a safe and reassuring event..... Will be going back again

Eurovision es posiblemente mi favorito del evento del año, y ver que el campamento y Caldera estamos sosteniendo un partido en la gran pantalla que Eurovisión era una delicia. El ambiente era totalmente eléctrico como el más grande de los fanáticos del liverpool se reunieron en la sala de Eurovision. Las bebidas eran caras, y la comida también es caro (4 libras por una porción de patatas fritas o patatas halloumi o alas de pollo). Sin embargo, estaba bien que la comida era en como nos de hambre. Hubo un ligero retraso en el sistema de sonido con relación a la pantalla. Lo que quiero decir es que se podía ver las concursantes cantando y luego de un par de segundos más tarde podías escuchar los versos que había sido dicho. Este retraso al principio me molestó sin embargo como la noche fuimos no me preocupa mucho. Sonia realiza más tarde que era muy divertido. En general, creo que podría más decoraciones y publicidad ha hecho de este evento específico de Eurovision. Había visto promociones mucho mejor y los partidos emocionantes de Canal Street anunciado, que lo más probable es estar asistiendo a el próximo año. Sin embargo, fue una gran noche con un buen ambiente.

En realidad me encantó el lugar.

We were visiting the wonderful Cains Brewery Village and decided to drop into Camp & Furnace for a quick beer as they always have some interesting brews on offer or something going on in here.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this venue at all costs. My Son was one of many who queued up for over an hour and a half (with a ticket) only to be refused entry by Security because when they scanned his ID, it apparently came up that he'd been convicted for a violent crime. He's never been in trouble in his life and the 'Security' scan is a scam as they don't have access to the Police data base (even if he did have record!). They had over booked and were randomly telling kids that they had an 'X' on their ID's which came up as 'troble makers'. This was repeated for lads and girls some of whom were left stranded in the middle of Jamica Street as their freinds where admitted. Again, I would say avoid this place like the plague

Thank you Camp and Furnace for a fantastic George Michael night that hit exactly the right note. The room looked beautiful, the DJ was amazing and the band was brilliant, as a huge George Michael fan I didn't want it to descend into panto, but it felt like a tribute and not a mickey take. Good fun with the masks too. Look forward to the Bowie tribute in Jan!

The Sno Garden events that C&F; ran for Christmas this year were really great. The venue worked well for hosting a large screen film showing of Christmas films with accompanying gin bars and food stalls. We had a good evening here celebrating Christmas with friends.

Último espectáculo del año 2017 por el Liverpool, Club de Comedia con Brendan Riley era genial. La reserva en línea con skiddle fue simple y eficiente. Brendan fue el portero seleccionando la audiencia y nosotros sentados como un portero/anfitrión. La habitación estaba fría y por lo tanto los calentadores eléctricos. Nos quedamos un poco perturbados por el ruido de los calentadores eléctricos. El servicio en el bar era un poco lento en la parte delantera/bar principal. El bar en el show era pequeña. Brendan fue el anfitrión y marcó la diferencia. Había 2 stand up comedy actos. En general, una buena experiencia en el campamento y caldera. Esperamos a 2018 en el nuevo lugares.

Visted for Sunday lunch- you'll have a grand total of 1 option if you're a vegetarian. Served in a giant freezing warehouse. Sat on a hard wooden bench on a massive long table with other families. Wine was expensive. No bottle available for less than £20.

Booked a table here for two after seeing their Sunday roasts advertised on the Echo Website. Checked it out online and the lamb and custard caught my eye. Wow I thought, a lamb roast and then a sponge with custard. Heaven.

Came for the match ( liverpool Seville ) - it was dead which was suprising because this was THE place to watch the match in 2015 . Then the bar man wouldn’t serve past ten because “it was dead” Very sad - camp and furnace seems dead

It was mental really raucous and great fun. You do play bingo but this is the backdrop to a fab night out. Great atmosphere everybody joined in the fun plus it was chocker. We had a super time and won a bottle of vodka too. Fab.

Great home cooked food all fresh vegetables , great ambiance and excellent service .Would highly recommend for Sunday lunch

We paid £50 to enter the building however, upon arrival we were told that the event was over capacity and we were not allowed entry. Obviously this was no fault of our own and we would like a refund thank you x

Visited on a Sunday before going to a concert. Although we were early we were seated straight away, staff were very friendly and approachable. The food came in a timely manner and the staff were very attentive when they noticed a drink was missing, which then came straight away. Food came which was lovely and fresh, the beef was melt in the mouth, whilst the cabbage was soft but the green beans were crunchy. Even when pinching the last roast potato it was still hot inside. The meal was nicely finished off with a melt in the mouth, warm chocolate brownie. Will defiantly be visiting here, soon and I can't wait.

Been here a couple of times, the food is nice, however it really is over priced. An example is £40 for a "whole roast chicken" which the menu states serves 4. We had it between 3 and it was just about enough, it was the smallest chicken.It's a great quirky place though and I think that's how they get away with the prices. Get a bit of a not bothered vibe from some of the staff, like asking for anything is a bit of a chore for them, so not the most pleasant of atmospheres.

Very cool and impressive industrial building with long sharing tables. Real mix of people inside which is always a great sign however things after this not so great. Service was particularly slow so much so we left before dessert after waiting twenty five minutes. Faulty card machines also meant a further twenty minute wait. It also appears that whilst some staff run about being busy others stand about doing very little which is a personal annoyance having worked in the service industry. Food was good but nothing amazing!!!

This is a big claim (and don't tell my mum I said this) but this is the best roast dinner on Merseyside........its mega.Great atmosphere, awesome service and most notably the food was sensational.Four of us shared the Roast Chicken dinner (only £10 a head!!!). It came with a humongous platter of roasties, carrots, cabbage and green beans.........everything was cooked so well and great produce too but special mention has to go to the roasties, they were nothing short of 10/10 deliciousness!Chicken comes out whole and you carve at the table. It's served with massive Yorkshires, a generous jug of very, very good gravy and stuffing too.We shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert and again it was very good indeed. So good we boxed up the leftovers and took it home as we were stuffed.......we waited for the kids to go to bed to devour the rest of it that night! lolHonestly cant fault any of it. The service was impeccable too - big thanks to Adam, great guy, hope we get him next time as he made the experience all the better.

Had the pleasure of eating here today to celebrate my son's birthday. We were a party of 9 and were delighted with the service from the moment we were seated until we left. Adam looked after us, providing attentive service with a smile without ever rushing us through our leisurely meal. Our party ranged in age from 4 years to 67years and we all had a thoroughly lovely time with delicious food and drink. The games kept the youngest members happy whilst the older members of the party appreciated the quality of the meat and the abundance of vegetables served. A range of dietary needs were well catered for including vegetarian and gluten free members of the party. I would have no hesitation in recommending Roast you atone wishing to enjoy a lovely meal. Thanks to all the staff that served us today.

So we thought we would come for a couple night out and get cocktails. Asked for our drinks and the staff didn't have a clue what they were doing or putting In. I asked for a gin cocktail my partner a zombie. Everyone knows what a zombie looks like!! The picture below is not that which its half a glass?! The rest ice. I know cocktails are made up a lot with ice but not that f*$*ing much. When asked about it he said that's what zombies comes like. They really don't. It took 15 mins for our drinks! NO QUEUE!! They read off a script. Awful place especially for £15 for two rubbish drinks that tasted like car wee (never tried cat wee but only way I can explain) Awful.

We were invited to a party at this venue, really enjoyed the evening out easy to find no problems getting in and relaxed atmosphere inside. Loved the cotton wool clouds and extra large glitter ball . Great music with great friends and great night out

About 27 of us went hrer for their Sunday roast, the food was very good and the service was excellent. The desserts we has were also very good. They also had a few things set up to keep children occupied.

I took 3 friends who were visiting Liverpool here and was really disappointed by the service we had.The food was really nice however I think it's explained differently on the Internet about how and what you can share than when you go in and see the menu. We ordered drinks and judges of water for the table. Had to remind the woman who served us that we'd asked for water, then we had to ask her for glasses. My friend asked for a sauce, never came. We asked again and it was as if we'd asked her for the first time. When the food arrived we weren't spoken to, it was just dumped down on the table. They didn't clear space for it.As I was still chewing my food all the plates were taken and the woman didn't even ask just stated she'd get the bill! There was no period where we were left feeling like we could take our time, it felt rushed. It wasn't even busy, not even a quarter full. I could forgive someone forgetting if they were running round and could see she was busy. Her attitude was just poor.We split the bill between us and worked out how much everyone owes. When she arrived to take the money, she said that £27.50 was left to pay, I told her I'd worked out £21.50. She then said she's having to do this all in her head, she said she didn't have a calculator and didn't ask but told us to go on our phones and work it out! We already had worked it out! My friends then checked they'd paid the correct amounts from concerned they'd worked it out correctly, while they were doing this she interrupted us and told us to use our phones! She was so rude! I did and was correct with what I'd initially told her was left to pay.I'd read up on places to go for a nice roast and was really looking forward to it. Overall it looks like in there, the food is nice but the woman ruined the meal for us. Shockingly she didn't get a tip.

Came here for Bongos Bingo what can I say other than amazing! Whoever came up with this idea is a genius! Bingo with prizes you would never guess and then rave music thrown into the mix! Wear flat shoes ladies as you are up and down standing on the benches! Drinks are reasonably priced and you don't queue too long at the bar! Ladies walk round offering shots! Food is available just chips, wings again reasonable priced and tasty!! Can't wait to come back I'm ready for the next lot of tickets to get released!!!!!!!

We where there to celebrate a 21st birthday on a Sunday afternoon and we had the Sunday roast menu. The food was amazing portion sizes where incredible and well thought out with the presentation and serving. The big disappointment was the service, I understand that there was a lot of us,26 and 2 children, but it was a big let down. I would return but not with a big party 6 max.

Went there for their Sunday roast, and we shared a whole "grass fed" chicken, gammon and beef, they all came with seasonal vegetables, the puddings and gravy. It was a feast! Very well organised and timed, very busy, but we didn't have to wait too long.

What can I say other than I had the best night out in such a long time at Bongos Bingo!!! Rave meets Bingo with music thrown in to satisfy any taste and some bizarre prizes to boot. I laughed and danced so much (on the bar stools) that my legs and ribs hurt in equal measure. £24 for a bottle of prosecco which I didn't think was too unreasonable. Everyone there was in such good mood and we were friends with others on the table sharing drinks by the end of the night. It was just brilliant. We are so coming back for more!

This was our second visit to this venue, we had the last sitting on a Sunday evening. There where a lot of items including beers that were not available and the starters had finished too. We chose beef & lamb and the meat seemed a smaller than usual portion but the veg tray was enormous however I had to get up and find someone who could bring us the horseradish and mint sauce. The food is excellent without a doubt I think Sunday last sitting is a bad time to visit there were very few people in there so no real atmosphere. Yes I would go again as we do love the venue and the food style

Had a great evening with friends here. The music was brilliant, the atmosphere boss. We unfortunately missed the food as arrived after 9 but the food looked amazing - think another visit will be needed to try the menu. Fab night had by all.

I booked a week prior to our visit today. I had a table booked for 17:30. I advised I had a bad back to the American woman on the desk. I made this crystal clear initially when I made the reservation, but wasn't provided with a chair with a decent back support. She acknowledged the note in the booking, still no chair. Gave up with them after being told:- there's no calamari - there's no falafel- there's no chicken (there was, apparently it was being "saved" for Craig Charles)I also came back from the toilet to find one of your waiters writing on his pad, at my table, on my table, at my place setting. Seriously guys? I understand the lairs back service. But would it be worth suggesting you tell your customers what you're out of BEFORE seating them - saves wasting everyone's time. We walked out before ordering anything. Really unimpressed.
