Lounge 69 is a great bar 241 cocktails all day… good selection on beers on tap too.. lovely place to sit and people watch… The food is lovely too, great fresh homemade burgers… all in all a great bar and my first bar of choice everytime I am in Liverpool

What a fab place went Sunday with 12 friends food service amazing and even better cocktails, staff so friendly and welcoming too, price was very reasonable all in all very enjoyable visit defo be back next month when in Liverpool again, didn't catch managers name lovely lady nothing was too much well recommend a visit 😊

Nice late night bar to visit for a night cap.

Just used the cocktail bar for drinks. Fairly refined and relaxed venue using doormen to control entry (Friday night) worked well for us. Will go again.

We were simply staying in town for a couple of days, checking out the night life when we came across this wonderful restaurant. WOW, WOW, beautifully clean and interesting decor. Fast service the food served steaming hot filling one large wooden block. We had the Combo Board for 2 which included coleslaw, BBQ sauce, salad, fries, 2 x thick chunky BBQ ribs, 2 x chicken fillets, tasty toasted garlic ciabatta, salt n pepper chicken wings. The very enthusiastic manager spent time talking to us, relating to the history of the business. She was kind, considerate and we were never rushed. We are fussy eaters and would definitely return. OH, nearly forgot, all that for £11 each, much better than the food we got back at the hotel. Well worth a visit.

Staff were lovely and food was alright, however my mum got bones in her fish (which wasn't advertised as such). This was a mistake in the processing of the fish, which was fine but a bit of an inconvenience. The music in the lounge is also far too loud, and can't be turned down, however it's a good enough restaurant for migraine-inducing pop music enthusiasts.

My wife and myself stumbled across this little gem on a trip to Liverpool. When we walked in we both loved the decor of steampunk lights. Drink and food orders were taken in a timely manner. We both had a lovely cocktail 2 for a tenner. They we delicious. The off duty manager just happened to be sitting on a table next to us and two our suprise he ran the food to our table. Above and beyond in my opinion. The food was excellent. We had a platter for two. Great price 22 quid and we both had a good feed. Next time in Liverpool will definitely come back. And I would highly recommend it for the price and excellent service.

Stopped here on a Friday night and ordered a jug of sangria. The bartender had NO clue how to make one and I confronted him saying that it looked to clear not red as it should. His response was "it's £17.50 you have to pay" - I asked can I try it first because it does not look right whatsoever. He started panicking not knowing what to do, then I took a sip regardless and it tasted like orange juice. Then he called over his manager (owner I suppose) which jumped on me shouting "you are not leaving this place until you pay!" Chill dude I told him I'm not arguing paying I just want you to correct this jug drink - he tasted it and obviously figured that it tasted horrible, he added more wine and said "now it's good!" And no apology whatsoever. Obviously I disagreed about the taste, and I asked the two bartenders to taste it but neither of them have ever had it before they said. How do you make cocktails not knowing how they are supposed to be made I question. I paid them since they are desperate for money and avoid causing a scene and took the jug, put it on the table where me and my partner were seated and walked away without touching it. Very unpleasant experience but hey congratulations on your £17.50 win. Compare with the table next to us since they ordered the same.

Classy bar on Hanover street, good selection of cocktails but they lack that oomph to make them stand out. They were two for one. Food is nice. Hot and fresh. I got a chicken burger, nice, hot, crispy chicken, partner got a steak and ale, he said it was alright.

Walked in for a drink but because we had a baby with us they wouldn't let us in. Iv never heard this b4! Absolute joke of a place

We were staying nearby. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. This includes the door staff as well as the bar staff. To be frank, we are all north of 65 years old and six of us but they treated us as as well as anyone. Provided you had two of the same, two cocktails were £10 only all day/night so great value for money. We had a ball and visited the bar 3 nights running! Definitely would go back. Thanks to Maddie and Ronan for the service!!

The staff on the bar and the price of cocktails were fine. However, the owner of the place whose name is Peter was a really nasty man. He was openly using homophobic language towards members of his own staff in full view of the customers at the bar calling them “gay boys”. He was really creepy towards the women in the bar as well, he really thinks that he is some kind of 1950’s alpha, when in he is nothing of the sort. Further to this he spoke in a manner towards his own staff that would turn anybody’s stomach, and to top it off he was often barking orders at them, but he was often wrong in what he was directing them to do! This experience was very awkward, perhaps the owner should turn his hand to alt-right YouTube rather than flailing in the service industry. Just a suggestion. Stay toxic Pete!

Firstly this is a nice place and the drinks were good value. Then I went to pay with a Scottish £10 note, and the young girl bar tender had to check if this money was legal tender with her colleague. I couldn't believe this is still happening, Scottish money still has a problem in England.

Great offers on cocktails people were getting food only seen from a far looked good. The only issue is the height of the tables to chairs ratio. This needs sorting because I'm 5ft8 and felt awkward and uncomfortable so I couldn't stay long.

Bouncers very rude people and not very inviting been coming here for a while now too as this is where I came with my girlfriend on our first date. The rest of the staff are perfect. But very uncomfortable with the bouncers attitude

Today, on Tuesday evening, my friend and I visited this place Lounge69. I was surprised by the quality of the food. I ordered salmon, which was delicious, especially the sauce. I've never eaten better, even in more expensive restaurants. I will definitely come back here, because it is worth it

Upon our rather eager arrival at the establishment, clad not in sportswear, but in attire merely whispering a nod to comfort – specifically, white wide-leg trousers and trainers, which, by any stretch of imagination, bear only a 1% resemblance to sweatpants – we found ourselves quite unceremoniously barred from entry. The reason, as it was rather perplexingly explained to us by the gatekeeping sentinel of fashion at the door, was our 'sporty' attire. This, mind you, in an establishment that seemed to have embraced a rather broad interpretation of 'casual chic', judging by the sea of sport hoodies and running shoes adorning the patrons inside. Our attempts to seek clarification, by pointing out the apparent paradox of being rejected for our '1% sporty trousers' whilst inside, garments of a clearly more athletic persuasion roamed free, were met with a logic so circular it could well serve as a roundabout. The guardian of the door, with a commitment to ambiguity that one must almost admire, declared that while shoes and tops might dabble in the athletic, trousers with even a hint of sportiness were persona non grata. Asking to speak to the manager, in hopes of navigating this sartorial labyrinth, only led us deeper into the absurdity. We were informed, in no uncertain terms, that the invisible lines of dress code enforcement were his to draw, not the manager's, thus adding a layer of mystery to the already inscrutable policy. Throughout this entire fashion inquisition, we maintained the utmost decorum, even as we found ourselves subjected to a scrutiny most unwelcome, feeling the weight of many eyes upon us, judging, perhaps pondering over the percentage of sportiness in our attire. It is with a heavy heart and a slightly ruffled dignity that we must lament the inconsistency and lack of hospitality encountered at the doorstep of what promised to be a delightful dining experience. One can only hope that in future, the establishment might consider the virtues of clarity, fairness, and perhaps a touch more warmth in welcoming potential patrons.

Me and my son went today, omg the food is amazing! We were both shocked at how big the portions were, well worth the money, will definitely be going back. Staff where very welcoming and friendly, I’d recommend anyone to go there, lovely place

Absolutely spot on place, this! 2 for £10 cocktails (if you get the same cocktails) otherwise £6.95 each which is still cheaper than most places. Great vibe and a lovely chilled atmosphere to catch up with friends or go out as a couple.

Very nice atmosphere and very good selection of drinks. Had a few drinks mid week, very friendly bar staff, had a good chat with the owner who was very welcoming and sound. Will definitely be returning and will definitely not wear shorts again!

Popped in on a day session with the wife, very friendly staff and a very clean environment, great selection of beers and shorts, the big down side was the mens toilets, they were very poor, the cubicle was awful, no handle and the slide bolt only works if you are able to pull the whole door up using the screw in what's left of the handle, that being said it won't stop me going back

This was our first stop off after getting into Liverpool, really close to our accommodation and we were starving after coming off the plane Who can say no to 2 for £10 cocktails in the middle of the afternoon Was lovely food we got aswell I got the chicken burger (very tasty chicken!) and exchanged fries for halloumi fries just £3 extra, and my partner got the pie which he said was nice. Front of house was helpful but not overly bothered either

We have eaten here a few times. The food is good, but I have to give a special shout out to their burger. It was delicious.

Hate writing poor reviews as it isn't nice for the business. The owner I assume it was, who greeted us at the door along with a door man were very welcoming and excellent I have to say. He even adjusted the temperature in the room. Sadly the young lad who served us, and we were the only ones eating so its that he was busy, really couldn't be bothered to be there, his tonality and his matter of fact attitude was terrible. Plonked the food down, didn't ask if we wanted condiments or once ask if everything was OK. Shocking attitude really! It's a shame really as its not a bad setting and has lots of potential if either the owner gets new staff or puts him on a customer service training course. In truth he needs to find a new job that suit's him and that's not being nasty about the boy but that job isn't for him. Food was OK, reasonably priced so you can't expect fine dining and was nice and hot and fresh.

We came for a few drinks before heading home back to Manchester on Saturday, it was quite busy with customers ordering several drinks at a time. Bar staff were polite and efficient! I went back to order a couple more drinks and spoke to a lovely young waitress with red hair, I asked if i was able to tip via card (as a lot of places now do this) I was told I couldn't. This was very disappointing for me as I never use cash and I like to tip when it's deserved. Perhaps the management/owner could look into this for the future?

Absolutely dreadful. Over priced, under cooked and they cannot make cocktails correctly. All in all a horrendous experience and the staff really couldn't have cared any less. Never, ever again. This is Liverpool City centre - there are hundreds of other venues. Cannot see this place staying open unless they dramatically improve.

Beautiful lunch for two, freshly cooked, piping hot and delicious. My husband had peppered steak and huge homemade fries. I had the blackened salmon with new potatoes and vegetables. Food and service excellent x

A friendly and quirkily stylish steampunk themed bar that has a good vibe. They offer good quality 2 for £10 cocktails that are great and there are around a dozen to choose from. The beers on offer are good too, with a selection of IPAs abs lagers and prices are reasonable. Staff are really friendly, especially the door staff who always make the effort to chat with you. A safe and comfortable bar which is situated in the ground floor of the Bling Bling building.

The person who served us was polite and took our food and drink order soon after we arrived. The place was very quiet, I think only 2 other tables were occupied when we sat down. After waiting 30 minutes, we still hadn't had our drinks. The same waitress then came over to us and confirmed our food order and stated that she was sorry but there would be a further wait - assuming they didn't put the order through as we'd only ordered a burger and some sides. We didn't stay, the waitress said she was sorry and was polite but no reason was given for why we'd been sat at a table for 30 mins with no drinks.

I visited this restaurant yesterday on Thursday. I ate lasagne. This dish was excellent and tasty. I recently ate such good lasagne when I have been in Milan. I totally recommend this place.

Great value bar open late during Eurovision. Headed there after the opening concert and they gave us a warm welcome. Really comfortable and great service, will definitely return.

Had a full English breakfast. Very small. Sausage barely cooked, very bland. Toast served like hard cold cardboard bread, with a frozen block of butter. No hash browns. I ate it because I was hungry. £10. Doesn’t even include a tea/coffee. Would not recommend.

Absolutely terrible!! Firstly we ordered cocktails which took ages to come due to new shakers exploding which was fine we let it go and when they come they were good. We ordered food , the hunters chicken came without bbq sauce or cheese , my sweet potato fries come out way before my meal so they were freezing by the time i ate them , the garlic bread was bad just warm bread. We were given no cutlery. My friend ordered buffalo cauliflower with nacho sauce , which she has ordered before but what came was cauliflower cheese. She told the waitress who went and got the manager. He said there was no such thing as nacho cheese or buffalo seasoning (although on the menu) and that they had two new chefs who they are allowing to put there stamp on the menu but completely changing them is not ok. The manager when coming over was rude , argumentative and embarrassed me! He had been drinking cocktails with a customer at another table before he was called over which is so unprofessional! I am sad because i liked this place but i will never return.

Just got off the train from London to meet my cousin That I haven’t seen in a long time and got to the door where the bouncer said I couldn’t come in because of my jogging pants which were plain black and fitted. I apologised and explained I had jeans in my bag which is change into if I could just go to the toilet. From the beginning he was aggressive and on his phone. I was very polite until the end as he was then rude to my cousin who politely came to speak to the bouncer after seeing I was unable to get in. He then had to leave the drink he’d just bought me and his drinks with his partner. Will never recommend this place and never be returning. I understand a dress code and was happy to hear the bouncer out but he was rude, aggressive and kept trying to talk on his phone whenever I tried to speak to him. Not the welcoming vibe you get everywhere else in this city.

My 17 year old daughter and her friend are both auditors. They were served without id, which is fine it's part of their job, but the boy with the snake or lizard tatto & bleach blonde hair was awefully rude which they can't log in...

Comes across like chic bar but has an orrible smell and waiters are really unpolite

On Saturday 19 March we had reservations for six people, one lady is 84 years old and another lady uses a walking stick, we chose the restaurant because it was close to the theatre we were going to However when we arrived 15 minutes before the reservation time we were told that the table had been given to someone else when we asked why they response was that someone had sat at the table and were served food they said it shouldn’t of happened but there was nothing they could do about it , you are an absolute disgrace

Lovely place, decent drinks, an didn't get deafened. No table service but quick at the bar. More of a place to go if want to talk to whoever your with. Only gripe was chairs weren't very comfortable 😂
