It was cool but it was very loud to watch football in peace with the family. Great for men's groups.

Great German beer hall in the centre of Liverpool. Beer was great, the food was good and not bad value, definitely recommend the pretzels 🥨 to go with a big German beer. Watched the football here too with lots of big screens. Recommended

There were very few customers but yet they disabled the food ordering in the online app.Tjeu didn't seem to care that much about the customers so we lleft after a while.

I do understand that it gets busy, I understand that reservations happen and bookings are confused, I understand that the new world of apps mean that going up to the bar is less likely. The issue we had, was waiting 25 minutes at the bar being told we would be served soon and then we were constantly looked over, even though one man shoved his way in and was served, again when you're serving 10s of people you may miss new versus existing waitees but the fact that nothing could be stopped to quickly sort drinks. We then ordered on the app we then waited 30 mins, received the wrong stein (beer when we ordered cider) then the cocktail we ordered didn't arrive at all, given that was quickly rectified when we notified the staff. Because of the rain we moved inside and the random people sitting at a table were lovelier than the staff were treating us. I don't believe in the customer always being right. But I do believe that we shouldn't have been treated like wed walked in spat on the floor and scraped feces on the wall. The reason it's 3 stars is because I genuinely imagine it was just a bad/busy a day. But for a place as popular surely it would be used to such a volume of custom The bands and live music was phenomenal and is worth going purely on that. Would reccomend using the app.

We attended the Luke Combs Experience in the BierKeller function room. We waited for over an hour to get in after being told that the doors would open at 19:00. There was no information about when the music would start. The tickets said 20:00 start but the band didn't come on stage until after 21:00. We waited in a queue through the bar to get in whilst the football was being shown on the big screen. The security staff did not know what time the doors were due to open when we asked. There wasn't enough seating for everyone who had bought tickets. The sound system was poor, but this wasn't the venue's fault. It could have been SO much better. Overall, lack of communication was the major issue here. The venue location, food and bar staff were very good.

A beautiful Pub both inside and outside on the terrace, prices for every pocket, excellent location. I confidently recommend this pub restaurant.

Firstly false advertising, upon arrival other than our choice of stein nothing else was what we had booked for as agreed by the manager on the night.The place emptied soon after the entertainment started,when it finally got started due to technical issues.the compare dressed accordingly to the theme umpah band (bierre kellar) however the two young singers were just painfull,after discussion with the manager who as mentioned agreed it was mis sold did nothing and told us who to feed back to.upon doing this ironically no refunds permitted due to TCs no surprise!!! And pure ignorance to follow,Please guys don't build your hopes up its not what you pay for.Total false advertisement they seem to take your money and relax.and there's alot of feed back which reads similar..

We attended the Bierkeller on 02.12.23 , we were Al so excited , sat down the compare came on dressed in traditional clothing , then two singers , it was shocking ,what a complete waste of money , false advertising, it should not be allowed , we refused shots .we just wanted a refund , but they’ve told us no . If your taking that much money to listen to an out of tune singer , when it should be an umpah band . Very disappointed, what a complete and utter rip off . Don’t bother !!! Waste of money . The staff were very helpful , I did feel sorry for them .

Had a group booking for 3 hours. Service really poor. Were told we could only order through the floor walkers and not at the bar. Floor walkers rarely came close to the table. Waited an hour to get our first round of drinks. Were also told we weren't able to order food, despite the email confirmation saying that the booking covered food and drink. Staff quite rude and snappy.

One of my favourite pubs in Liverpool, the atmosphere is always brilliant.

Ordered 3 loaded fries @ £30 I expect something excelent, 2 had been sat below the warming lights for 20 mins and had dried up, the third was freshly made and had cold parts. Very poor.

241 cocktails, food menu sounds good , they offer big pretzels, unfortunately didn't get to try these. They had live music on and the singer was very good, this added to the atmosphere

The location is great and the view over the Royal Albert docks is also incredible but the overall experience was a little strange. It is possible that this is simply the restaurant’s policy, but given how much is self service, it is hard for people with small children or reduced mobility to get what they need quickly. The food and portions are good but would recommend that the management also implements something slightly more family friendly so that it is open to all.

Never had food but could see it passing by and smell it both looks and smelt fantastic options are great in there when I'm in town do have a tendancy to pop in for a quick stein of the haus beer can't complain of the 0rices with other places charging around 6-7 pound a pint and can get a stein for 11 staff lovely and great chilled atmosphere with occasional live music

Great bar! Given free shot tickets, intending to just pop in. The atmosphere here is brilliant, the place itself is spacious, modern, with great music and staff were all excellent. Shall definitely return.

Nice friendly staff and good spot in Liverpool One

Brilliant day out and Polly our server was especially helpful and friendly! Polly made our stag weekend as good as it could have been. She was attentive. We were never without drink and was great craic. Couldn’t wish for a better supervisor to look after this bar. The only thing is I would say that if you don’t pay Polly enough you might lose her. Which would really impact business. So please sort her out.

Great service, great staff with good recommendations, Polly particularly (managing rugby fans and students, beer barrels and food simultaneously). BUT note to the management: post-pandemic (which ended a while ago) you should know that people don’t carry cash mostly. So not allowing tips via card is pretty bleedin cruel. I’m guessing 90% of people pay contactless, so your staff are getting 90% fewer tips as a result of you not making the front line looked after properly. Happy to be told I’m wrong! But, come on…. Service industry struggling?? Maybe look after the servers doods.

Amazing food and great beer and very friendly staff

Easy to miss for a first-time visitor, being tucked in a corner just by the big stairs to the top of Liverpool ONE. Atmosphere was pretty dead for a Champions League game, although that probably depends on the game. Massive screen upstairs with tables right beside, and table service, all good. The food menu looked interesting, but didn't order any. Both food and drinks are expensive, however. I haven't made up my mind on whether I'll visit again.

Embarrassed to bring friends here that were visiting from out of town. Pestered by email to pay despots, then by phone to pre order, all despite no one being able to answer simple Qs about the menu from original booking form. Benefit of the doubt, arrived on the day to 1000 members of staff keeping busy with anything BUT wanting to make eye contact and serve a customer. Eventually found someone to seat us.... in a corner... next to the foulest smelling loos. 30+ mins & still no service later, found a barman who got the bar manager, to get a server to remind a waitress to bring our food!!!! The food was amazing.... just kidding... it was heat lamp frazzled and they still couldn't tell us if it would kill my celiac friend... Asked for money off bill, apparently I'd already paid up (news to me but ok)... more drinks offered but still had half a bottle of their pricey fizz and just done by that point. Probably fine to visit for an unplanned drink, definitely NOT the fun friendly "experience" destination their website promises.... so disappointed

Class spot,always recommending here to anybody heading to liverpool for a match or just a general trip. Food,drink,entertainment,great ppl. I really cant recommend this place enough, if ever in liverpool then you need to go to beirkeller. This place holds some of my best memories when im on the merseyside .

Great sports bar, expensive beer but great for an afternoon watching sport

So I visited Bierkeller and I found many, many bad and unusual behaviour from some of the management team towards staff. It ranged from giving the staff dirty looks, condescending talks and over all weird communication skills. It made me feel uncomfortable. If you hire a team to work with you and all of management treat them so distastefully why would they want to stay there? Which makes sense why staff is constantly changing. I saw the staff from bartenders, servers, door men and hostess all work incredibly hard and deserve respect. I hope management are able to take a look at themselves and learn to treat their staff with dignity and respect not just numbers.

Great outdoor area, friendly service. Not the cheapest bar but ideally situated for shopping and very close to bus station. Food dead on. Great for watching sports, especially the football

After a good walk round we were ready for a drink and choose the Bierkeller as we thought would have a good selection of continental beers and it was on the way back to the car. Was disappointed with the offering on the bar. Pretty much mainstream UK beers with a couple of token German beers. The some tables outside remained uncleared for the duration of our visit which was attracting gulls which kept swooping down to grab the left over food. Could do with staff clearing up quicker to stop this. We won’t be visiting again.

Ridiculously overpriced, no atmosphere at all. Hausbier tastes terrible, has got nothing to do with anything you could call a „Bierkeller“.

Disappointing, been here a few times for drinks but here for food this time. I had curry wurst fries and my gf had pulled pork fries and the meat was cold on the fries for both of us. Boneless wings were tasteless. My gf had long island iced tea and there was an unusual perfume taste of the drink. Staff are lovely may have been an off day with the food and cocktail

Love this place always a great atmosphere Fantastic staff Zoey absolutely fantastic service asked if we could watch the rugby Not only did she sort this for us she managed to get us some chairs.

We booked a table for the England rugby game and placed a £200 deposit to secure the booking. Upon arrival we were told to use the QR code to order food and drinks which we did (£199 order plus tip AND what Bierkeller call a 'Team Thank You') but upon doing so I was informed by another member of staff that this couldn’t come off our deposit because it was through the app and not through the waiting staff. The Manager onsite - Chloe Morrow - told me that I can't get the £200 back because its "not their policy to do so" and was unwilling to assist further. I don't typically write reviews but I've emailed Bierkeller 4 times in the last month to resolve the situation and no one has got back to me, so I'm left to complain on a public forum. If someone could take the time to get back to me, that would be great.

Beers good, but the staff that where on the night I went where a bit miserable

Really good sport bar with nice atmosphere and plenty of choices for live sport. Good selection of beers, food & service have room for improvement.

Went for breakfast, service was appalling went up to the bar to order food thinking that that’s what you had to do, turns out the waitress just hadn’t been to our table to greet us. Once we ordered our drinks and food took ages to come out, my friends food was wrong, another’s had baked beans on it in a pot that when you turned it upside down they stayed in the pot. I had the smashed avocado and eggs on toast, the toast was soggy the poached eggs weren’t runny and it took over half an hour for it to come, my coffee was stone cold before the food even came. Staff were really slow and lazy, had to collect my own cutlery salt and sauces from behind the waitresses stand because no one was tending to us. Overall just awful will not be going for food again.

Was good. Only complaint was I went in to wotch the Rangers game and it was only on a small telly. For the size of the place I was expecting to see a sky sports main event on a bigger screen with volume. But that's what I get for watching a Scottish game in England 🇬🇧 WATP!!!

Impossible to contact. I have tried email, phone and Facebook all with no response. I don’t see why there is a phone number that is never answered (I’ve tried multiple times on different days).

Nice place to Watch fotball with a lot of big screens and great atmosphere. It’s a shame they are very short on staff. Waited about 60 minutes to get my chicken wings.

Not in any rush to go back. Ordered online from the table, food and drink, waited for the drink to arrive a while. Member of staff apologised, offered us a round on the house. Food came, part undercooked and missing the brat in blankets. Had to remind the staff member about the complimentary drink offered. Very meh experience for the cost.

Fantastic atmosphere, good customer service, great food and decent music...

Absolutely unreal atmosphere. Everyone up and dancing and having a great time. Absolutely loved it. The food was very nice as well. Everyone was there just to have a good time and have fun. First time I've been and I would definitely return. We came as a group of 15 and there was plenty of food and drinks to go around.
