El lugar estaba atascado de montones de baile. Magnífico ambiente y aunque muy ocupado, no tenía que que que demasiado tiempo para una bebida. Buen craic

Great little sports bar with live entertainment! Will visit again

We were just there on a Fri & a Sat evening in Jan 2025, a great bar! Plenty of space and seating, live top quality music, great spot to watch a match and a pool table. Staff not to engaging but done there job well but the door men were just ignorant with regards to saying hello etc but that's their inner problem i left them at the door as i walked in. But overall it's a great spot and i would highly recommend.

The atmosphere was ok, it's in the best location opposite the adelphi hotel. 5 mins walk from the train station, the prices on drinks are reasonable. The toilets are very small and a lil bit dirty. The female staff member wasn't the most welcoming but overall I had a good time here. If you want something more classy there's definitely other bars to choose from in liverpool.

Pub y bar saltando por esta parte de la ciudad en una noche de enero amargamente fría mi hermano gemelo y yo decidimos pasar por The Celtic Corner, la visita estaba bien. Un bar grande, el interior es tan grande, tiene un interior cavernoso, decoración y mobiliario bien y muchas opciones de asientos, hay pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte, es un bar en el centro de la ciudad que está bien para una cerveza rápida. Pedimos una cerveza cada uno, estos fueron servidos en excelentes condiciones siendo helados fríos y espumosos, nos acomodamos y cenamos nuestras cervezas que eran totalmente deliciosos pero ambiente aquí era un poco plano, nada realmente para escribir a casa. Disfrutamos de cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante, la visita estaba bien, nada especial. El Celtic Corner es fácil de ubicar a lo largo de Renshaw Street. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a jueves, abierto de 11 am. Viernes a domingo, abierto de 9 am. .

Good pint of Guinness in here and a really good price too. Had some live music on in here and it was spot on

First bar we found in Liverpool. 10/10. Fantastic. Love it. Party central on a Friday night. Bar staff had a laugh with us too, such a lovely place

It’s been months since I’ve been but I’m still so mad about it- went in ordered a Guinness (as you do) and the barmaid poured it out straight in one continuous pour…. Honestly I was so shocked that in an Irish bar the lass would be so sacrilegious to an Irish classic. Favourite colours probably orange. Do not recommend.

Brilliant pub on a Saturday afternoon. Showed the Celtic game and great atmosphere. In good weather outside is heaving! Singer on before game, she was awesome.

This place was bouncing on a Sunday when I arrived around 1800 til 3am the songs I know so well I didn’t mind it was like a free open live concert from my hotel room which I didn’t mind one bit so I called round during the day time for a bit Christy Moore blasting out just great I bet this place is fantastic on a match day or Celtic v sevco it’s just brilliant the lay out the selection of screens the bar staff not a problem service was good I seen a few people complain but was grand then there’s the Celtic corner like stage then open windows let’s a nice breeze in also outside seating areas I could sit ere all day or night a great mixture of music Irish n pop music it’s got a real good mixture plus the seating arrangement is good with a pool table away from the bar plenty of space . The bar staff on her own seems to be doing a great job has the pub starting to get busy but she has it all under control plus the pub smells fine it’s clean n tidy so they definitely keep on top of that had it was rammed last night so credit where credit is due there’s also an upstairs not sure if that is open or opens at certain times but no complaints from me at all it’s just an all round decent pub in a great location.

I was ignored by a bar staff member in favour of male at bar...then staff tried to say he was already there..so I vam liar. He then got my order wrong...did not hear halves ..so left Shame the singer sounded good

Served us 6 drinks (when there was clearly 5 of us) one of which was a Guinness. After telling us that i definitely asked for a guiness I said I’ve NEVER ordered a Guinness in my life so I’ve not started now. No refunds. I called for the manager who was chewing gum who then after a discussion with the bouncers (intimidation tactic) slammed down money from the tip jar and said nothing. I asked for an apology and I got ‘Apologies’ Not once did I raise my voice or be rude. Terrible terrible customer service and both these people should be sacked.

This place is a rip off, one if the most expensive in liverpool and really not worth it

Went for ladies day. Was a very busy pub with a good singer. However during her break I was disgusted to hear IRA songs being played. Slating the British Army. Play them in Ireland not Liverpool. Keep politics and hatred away. It was very offence to someone who served their country in Ireland.

We were told children (mine are 13 and 17) were allowed until 7pm. This was confirmed by punters already in the bar. Husband was in having a pint and myself and my teens were refused entry and weren't even allowed to sit on the outside seats while he finished his pint. Never had this experience before

Went in for a drink with my 14 year old son and partner whilst waiting to meet family didn’t realise children weren’t allowed. 2 members off staff walked past whilst my partner got the drinks. A member of staff maybe a manager and politely told us children were t allowed. No problem we were allowed to finish our drinks and leave. Then a boy from security came over and I said we were leaving he looked at me like I was dirt and spoke to my partner fine ego took hold I presume. As we were leaving my son is special needs waved he was so rude and arrogant and had a bad attitude we were leaving so there was no need for it the staff were lovely the young boy on the door did not need to be how he was.

Just here for the Craic bar on the corner is ok, quiet in the day and very busy at night. Live music all day which is good & sport TV. Bouncers ok here. I have been rough handled by bouncers in 2 of the other 4 bars . I look alternative with Mohican hair and one bouncer called me a crack head shouting so loads of people could hear, then he threw my bag across the road and me after it. I haven't seen them be this rough to a bloke. These bouncers are mates that's why I got trouble in 2 bars. They have inflated ego and if 1 decides he doesn't like your look then 🫨😧 you not getting in.

Friendly fun atmosphere, the two lads singing were really good. It's a huge pub with plenty of screens for sports. Lots of choices for drinks too

We went to this venue for early evening drinks. We paid at the bar and sat to watch the female entertainer. Immediately we were shocked to see stickers on her guitar which read 'Free Palestine,' 'F*ck the Tories' & 'F*ck Racism.' We had gone into the venue to be entertained and not see the entertainer's political views. We asked the manager for a refund given we didn't see why we should have to watch an entertainer who felt she can promote and show her political views with offensive stickers! He point blank refused to talk to us and walked away which meant we then had to follow him around the venue trying to explain why we were complaining and that he should at least stand and discuss our complaint. Several times he walked away refusing to even listen to us. Whether we are right or wrong no entertainer should be forcing their political views on the paying public. The Manager clearly showed he has no managerial skills, no man management skills, no customer relation skills and no empathy towards customers complaints. A very immature manager who's only contribution to our visit was to show us his ability to flounce off.

Went to watch Ireland v France Rugby. Good atmosphere. Didn't have food.

Good selection on draught. Had a Guinness, nice and fresh and atmosphere with the live music was great!

Popped in for a drink during a day visit to Liverpool after going to Quirky Quarter. Great location. Great atmosphere in pub. A few gaming machines.

Came in here for a quiet pint with some old school buddies. Decided to go for a Guinness (which i haven’t had since a school trip to dublin in 1978) and it just brought my right back to my youth. GREAT PINT OF GUINNESS. What made the pint of Guinness even better is that it was served to me by a real, authentic Irishman. It actually made me feel like I was 17 years old again drinking in Dublin on the school trip. The pint of Guinness and the service was so good it actually caused me to have an identity crisis and I genuinely believed that I was a 17 year old boy again and I was very confused as to why I was drinking in a strange bar with a group of elderly men. Apart from all this, great night.

Went to this pub for the first time lovely atmosphere good music, however the only negative thing I have to say, one member of staff young short girl with dark hair. Seems to have a chip on her shoulders, grumpy and miserable( attitude problem) did not see her crack a smile or engage with any customers. Almost if she didn’t want to be there. Not sure she understands how customer service works🤨 Came over to me and gave me a look to say what do you want no hello what can I get you. Spoke very quiet couldn’t hear her as I was right near the stage where musician was playing. Then she got in a strop cause I couldn’t hear her ( hunny were on a bar speak up, not sure why people get jobs on dealing with customers if their not customer service focused or not people friendly) Apart from that nice pub cannot comment on food as I haven’t ate there.

Ignorant Manager. 7b speakers upstairs all MAX volume. Couldn't hear TV due to Echo and Distortion. Asked if she could lower volume slightly so we could hear it.. She came out and turned it UP just because she could... Very Rude Girl!! Won't be back

Couldn't rate the food as I didn't eat there. Good service at the bar and a cracking night.

I gave the bar staff too much money by mistake and confronted them immediately to be told I was lying. The manager reviewed the security footage which was extremely pixelated and completely useless. Staff and management were rude and dismissive. I wouldn’t recommend this bar at all..

Great atmosphere and live music

We were in Shiraz which is next door, had some leftover pizza in a box and were refused entry because of this. Couldn't even sit outside, you would have thought it was a loaded gun we were trying to take in the way the security reacted. You would be better off going to the vines across the road.

The place is great for chilling but it's soo disgusting looking at the security guys spitting all over the flor , I was with my girlfriend and was soo bad seeing that , I even asked him to spit somewhere alse and he just asked me to rispect him ???? So I'm sorry for the place couse is nice but disrespectfully bad !

Disgusting bar staff rip you off as a local would advise no one to go there feel sorry for tourists if they rip own of lf they can rip off locals... what's to say what they're capable of? To be fair singers excellent shame about staff and management

Usually this is a great bar, unfortunately when I was there this time hardly anybody was in, because of this the music - a singer then some tunes the volume was more than excessive, it was painful, the singers voice was distorted. Had there been more punters it wouldn't have been as bad. The management should adjust the volume dependant on the crowd.

Place was jumping. Lovely staff. Doormen were great fun. Great drink deals. Can't wait to go back

Late on a Tuesday night. Pretty empty but still played good tunes and staff were sound.

Lovely big pub with huge windows giving the opportunity for a bit of people watching, the prices for drinks are about average for a city center at £11.50 for 2 pints, the music was very loud and the speakers were either poor or blown but overall no issues

Was in there yesterday, was a good laugh, atmosphere etc but there was a small blonde barmaid with glasses and her attitude was absolutely disgusting. I don’t know what her problem was but she was horrible. I had to ask her have I offended her and apologised if I did even though I knew I done nothing wrong. If I was the boss she would be gone.
