We just stopped for a pot of tea. I can’t understand why use decent tea bags but in a pot and with cups that needed to be scrubbed or cleaned in a decent dishwasher. The tea tasted dreadful like stale tea. The outside space certainly didn’t look like the lovely website ones. Certainly will not be returning in near future.

Traditional building well decorated down to the pastel coloured crockery. We sat in the well presented courtyard at the front of the premises. The coffee and tea we had were very nice. Really impressed with the coffee ☕ here! The caramel and cinnamon lattes was made to perfection; the coffee was not too strong and there was just the right amount of syrup to taste it well without being too sweet. Really nice and hot too! Food was also very good quality, bacon and onion chutney toasted bagel 🥯 is quite unique and the bacon was delicious! My partner was also very impressed with the onion chutney sausage roll. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and the cake counter was very tempting too!

Not sure why we haven't been here before - probably because there's no menu displayed outside (the one thing that could be improved). We were looking for a latish lunch and had just been turned away by the Little Theatre cafe where the kitchen closes at 2.30. So this was the nearest place and we decided to give it a try, grabbing the only free table. Full marks for serving lunch 'til 3.30, having a really interesting menu, friendly and efficient service, good coffee, lovely food, nice atmosphere and providing magazines. My sisters chicken club sandwich was huge and my bacon and brie bagel was lovely and oozy! Might try brunch next time.

Lots of coffee shops were closed the day I visited because of terrible weather, so I thought I would have to accept going to Costa instead of an independent place. But as I walked towards Costa, Camellia Cottage appeared into sight like a little pink beacon! Enjoyed a lovely orange hot chocolate and caramel shortbread to warm me up out of the rain. Great service and a lovely vibe. Thank you!

Disappointing. Can't really write much of a review as we walked in at 4.22 and were told they were closed. The time of closing is 4.30 and when we argued the point and only wanted a pot of tea and a bun, we were told we wouldn't be able to drink it in time. We even offered to sit outside. We were offered takeaway but we wanted to take the weight off our feet for just a few minutes. Another couple walked in behind us wanting similar so they also walked away. Four customers lost - and us for the rest of our stay. Moved up the road to The Gangway Cafe where the attitude was totally different.

Popped in for lunch as the destination for the North Norfolk Railway ( which is fab.). Husband had a scone and coffee and I asked for a goats cheese salad and sparkling water. We sat outside at the rear of the property. Nice shaded area. Busy and obviously popular. The scone, coffee and water arrived. We drank and he ate his scone. Then we sat.. reminded the waitress and sat… My salad eventually arrived after around half an hour but I was half a litre of water in and for £8 it was pitiful. I left it. Just don’t.

Stumbled across this delightful tea room in the lovely seaside town of Sheringham and the wife and I really enjoyed our sweet pancakes and I was so hungry that I also had a lovely fresh chocolate cake washed down with a tasty hot Americano. The tea room is served by lovely young ladies who work very hard and your made to feel welcomed. The kitchen is open plan so you can see the food being cooked and everything is spotlessly clean. I’m sure you get the gist of this review so I’ll leave it here by signing off with this message. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we’re visiting Sheringham.

We arrived to dirty tables. Admittedly they were cleaned after a few minutes. Then the menus arrived. Then we sat, and sat until one of us went inside to see if we ordered inside or they came and took the order. The waitress was friendly but not really engaged. Food was ok. Tables are small, trendy but very wobbly. All in all we left feeling uninspired. Sadly there is lots of competition in Sheringham and this place needs to up its game.

We're fairly new to this place but not to Sheringham. We can't believe we've walked past in hundreds of times and eventually tried it after seeing the comments from other reviewers. Two things make this place stand out from the rest in Sheringham... 1. They are always keen to help & 2. Lovely food. We arrive here at eratic times as we like to walk the beach and are often driven by the low tide times. Usually in walking gear and sometimes normall gear. The guys have been happy to serve up a stunning vegan falafel wrap, (the chutney makes it I think), for us outside of the standard lunch hours. This means so much to us as vegan food is hard to find, (I've commented before that it was that or a bar from Holland & Barret). Good food of any kind in fact is hard to find in Sheringham unless you adore chips. It always feels cheeky to ask but they could say no and thankfully haven't yet. Small things like this always make a difference these days. We'll be back time and time again. We look at the food other people eat too and it all looks great. Everything from salads and sandwiches to afternoon tea. You'd love it.Thanks for helping us out on numerous ocasions guys :-)

This was one of our favourite quirky finds when on holiday last year. Choose your own donuts...yes please! No arguments from the kids as they can choose their own. Lovely, entrepreneurial family run business. It was highly recommended to us by the Hotel we stayed at - i can see why! We will be back when we csn visit the area again.

We popped in for a light lunch.I had Cornish pasty with salad followed by the tastiest homemade apple pie.My friend had the quiche and then carrot cake.Superb food and reasonable prices.Served by a friendly team. All in all a nice experience.

Called in Today for a quick snack & drink as we have been here several times in the past. Unfortunately it was not quite the same as it was a couple of years ago. One member of staff was not as customer friendly as she could have been. Food was less than average. Sorry but we won't be returning

This is the second visit to the pub- after the annual Land Rover rally for the Norfolk firefighters charity. The first time we visited was just for drinks, this time we had a meal- a roast dinner in my case. We hadn’t booked and were very pleased with the service, the lady behind the bar took our orders promptly and was very helpful with the children’s menu. Food was served quickly and was delicious, proper “pub grub” The atmosphere was very pleasant too, it was a dark, wet November night and upon entering you’re greeted by an open fire, cozy bar and cozy restaurant. Will definitely be returning- more than once a year!

Atmosphere and staff very friendly. Had nice cheese scones warm and soft to eat. Tea and latte were really tasty. Will come again hopefully with the dogs
