Cagneys Cafe in Oxford

Great food, good value too! Walked across it while hungry and decided to go in. We will definitely be coming back it’s a lovely place and the service is friendly. Food was delicious and out pretty quickly .

This used to be a great cafe!the prices have doubled the portions are small, the big breakfast my kids eat more not worth the money. The sausages are of very poor quality taste terrible,I asked for a runny egg which came looked like someone had slapped it on the plate certainly wasn’t runny, how hard is it to cook a runny egg??bacon salty and poor quality tomato was burnt mushrooms cold, hash browns were nice.there was a big group in the corner I think sharing a cup of tea between 10 they were very loud. I could not even hear my partner who was sat opposite avoid this cafe food is rubbish’s

I can not recommend this cafe although very polite the food was disgusting breakfast was served and easy to tell not freshly cooked sausage and bacon just her up god know’s when it was cooked and the sausage was very poor quality no thanks will not be back

Can’t change items on menu, will happily remove item and charge for more money. Had me at £2.10 for 2 slices of toast.

Absolutely shocked to find that prices had increased by abt 30% since last week. Not only that, but my jacket potato had no cheese and only one slice of ham! A double whammy for the consumer, significant price increase and less food. This cafe does not deserve to be in business. I certainly don't appreciate being ripped off.

Horrendous customer service… I can’t place an opinion on the food because I never actually got it!! Yesterday I ordered breakfast for the first time from here and the delivery time kept changing, because I had to leave for work I called the restaurant to figure things out. The manager who initially could even find my order started screaming at me calling me a liar and hang up the phone on me… this is the first time in my life I’m leaving a review and placing a formal complaint over someone… this though has been the rudest most ridiculous interaction I’ve ever had

EW I was accidentally burnt by hot tea by the gentleman serving. However his lack of concern and blasé attitude when I tried to report the incident was unexpected. The incident has been reported to HSE.

Ordered through Uber eats and when I received my order I did not have any bacon or black pudding. My order took 1hr to come and when it came it was all cold. Would definitely not recommend ordering from this place.

Ordered through justeat. Finished a lovely breakfast,plus ordered jacket potatoes for tea. Saves me cooking on New Year's Eve Order came on time.

Fabulous food, great service. Vegetarian and vegan options. Great wine selection. Great prices as well. We sat next to the roaring fire which is nice and cosy for December.

Yuck. £5.50 for microwaved (in front of me) fish n chips n peas. Horrible. Clean and staff friendly enough but food is yucky.

This place is a hidden gem Breakfast here was lovely it was large and tasty, everything cooked fresh with lovely sausages and bacon. Coffee is good too with a very staff , a good selection on the menu and reasonable prices too, definitely recommend the breakfast for £4.90...

Regularly visit Cagney's for a breakfast/lunch when in the area. The cafe is really welcoming, and they go out of their way to help. The atmosphere of the cafe is nice, and it's design makes it feel like you're in a different era. Their cooked breakfast is nice, and I really like thier chips. My only negative comments would be that I would like a little bit more freedom in terms of the components of their full english (eg. maybe two rather than one hash brown). The chairs sometimes feel a bit weak also.

I have had bad breakfasts before, but none as bad as this one!. The staff are rude, the sausages were extremely cheap and badly cooked the beans were cold the fried bead taker like it was bipped in old oil the whole thing was disgusting never again!!

I have been here a couple of times and find a couple of the members staff rather rude when serving. Asked for a tea got a lukewarm tea where the milk had been poured in first. Food is nice but everything else could be improved!!

No hay lujos - Orden - Experiencia en mostrador. Decoración antigua lengua, mesas de formica y paredes de madera de machimbre de efecto de la mejor manera posible. This is an old style Café with a wide range of freshly prepared food served by pleasant staff. Nothing fancy, no airs and graces just good grub at fair prices. A breakfast here could last most people a whole day.
