Caffeinn in East Hertfordshire

6 of us ladies of leisure had breakfast in here this morning. Have been here a few times and they never disappoint. Food and service is consistently good. Run by a lovely friendly family. We all opted for omelettes ( different fillings) and they were perfect. Good coffee as well. Will be making this a more regular haunt . Can’t recommend enough

We go here quite frequently and it is always very nice. It is very good value and the service is quick. The wraps are my favourite. The place is always clean. The only downside is they don't really do cakes or sweet things but it's great for coffee and lunch.

My friend and I love it here. Great spot where you watch the world go by, private enough for chats and excellent atmosphere, coffees and food. Highly recommended.

My son and I decided to drop in and say hi to one of the waitresses. We ended up sitting down for brunch. We ended up ordering a sandwich and wrap. Little did we know that our meals would be accompanied with all the trimmings!! Fresh and crispy salad with fresh chips. My son could not stop raving about the food. The staff are amazing, warm and engaging. They give each customer a unique welcome. Thank you for being you and very family oriented.

We visited for lunch and were served our food in a timely manner, by a friendly waitress at a reasonable price. The food tastes great, it’s in a nice location (whatever the weather) & I’d happily visit here again.

I've been here few times and the staff is very feiendly and sociable, makes you feel like you're between friends. The food is always fresh and tasty. They've got the best raspberry brownie ever.

Lovely place to go for an easy casual dinner. The food is always great and the staff make an extra effort with the kids which goes a long way. Service is always quick without being rushed, menu is varied and prices are reasonable. Will continue to visit!

Second visit but definitely not the last. The cafe has a nice vibe and the staff are professional, friendly and were quick to sort out an issue on our first visit. Food has always been good and the coffees great too. Kids liked it as well.

Fantastic eggs on avocado and sour dough bread. Spot on with a dash of lime and salad. Was not expecting this quality . Delicious and friendly service.

Stopped here on our way home for lunch with our two children. The food was really nice and the staff were so friendly and helpful. One lady held our baby for a while so that we could eat. We left full and very happy.

Lovely, tasty breakfast and very friendly service. Family run and better value and nicer breakfast than some of the chain restaurants just up the road.

We were not aware of the cafe but were directed there by a local after finishing our shopping and seeking somewhere nearby to eat.. We were warmly greeted and delighted with the extensive menu. It was a early so I chose the all day breakfast, my wife omelette and chips. Both meals arrived on large attractive plates beautifully cooked and looking very appetising. My breakfast was superb with all the usual ingredients with the beans in a separate dish, a nice touch. We both also had nice hot mugs of tea and me a coffee to follow my meal. Possible one of the nicest breakfast I've had this year ! We will be back on our next visit to Bishop Stortford.Highly recommended !

One rainy lunch time recently, we were only looking for a quick sandwich, when we siddled into the pretty rubbish looking shopping mall to get out of the rain. We were heading back up north to the NE from London and didn't know Bishop Stortford at all. Four of us went into the Caffeinn and immediately we were given a cheery welcome. The Kurdish family that run this place are delightful. Although we plumbed for a basic sandwich, it came with all the trimmings and turned out to be almost a full meal. It was not expensive but the food was wholesome, well made and nutritious. The youngest of the family members was a real card and in the short time we were there, we got to know who the people were behind the counter. They are a lovely family who are willing to make your experience enjoyable. It is tucked away a bit, but it is worth searching out and we recommend giving it a try. This family deserve to succeed.

We had lunch here two days ago, the atmosphere is relaxed with very genuinely friendly staff. The food was 5 star all fresh ingredients, no microwave involved, very generous servings,delicious fruitjuice shakes, great coffee, very reasonable prices Highly Recommended .Look forward to our next visit.

We visited today , for breakfast , it was most excellent . My wife choose the Breakfast Omelette, which was stuffed full with Bacon , sliced sausage , sliced tomato and cheese . I had Sourdough toast with smashed avocado , two poached eggs and perhaps a little too much side salad .

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and great quality foods for a reasonable price. Would recommended.

We went in for breakfast this morning, shared the very generous vegetarian breakfast, with an extra toast. Very good, plus they have changed the veggie sausages and the new ones are brilliant. Yum

We have eaten here twice recently, it’s a lovely café with a buzzy vibe! Staff are very courteous & family friendly if you have children.

We love going here for breakfast. The staff are unfailingly lovely. The veggie cooked breakfast is a great option, halloumi, eggs, veg sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach , beans and toast. Total yum. Lunches are good too, it’s different from the same old places, lots of variety and freshly made.

Wandered into this tucked away lunchroom by chance and discovered a little gem. Great service, freshly prepared food for a good price and very child friendly. The menu has something for everyone and the freshly prepared juices taste wonderful. The Greek omelette will keep you going for a good few hours. We'll definitely be going back.

Very friendly staff, especially good with children! Lots of space for pushchairs. Buffet breakfast on a Sunday is great and really good value!

Always good coffee here and inexpensive good quality food. Together with courteous and friendly staff this can always be relied upon for a welcome pit-stop. I believe that this cafe may have changed hands. If so they are a worthy successor.

I visited here with family and we all had breakfast. The vegetarian breakfast was really good and everything came out quickly and very hot. Lovely staff, very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered a fruit scone and flat white coffee. The coffee came first, and after another 10 minutes came the scone. According to the menu the scone would be served with butter, cream and jam. The scone had been cut in half and toasted and was served with one small pat of butter and some thin slices of apple. No cream or jam in sight, and since when are scones toasted? By the time the scone came the coffee was only just warm. The scone was dry and tasteless and the coffee weak. On paying I was asked how it was and I duly reported the above, to which the assistant said it sounds like there are no positives in what I had said, to which I affirned the same. On paying I noted that the food preparation area of the restaurant was grubby looking. I will never be going to CafeInn again. Very, very poor in every respect.

What a surprise! Bishops Stortford was heaving and we tried our normal cafe, but there was a queue so we decided to try, the recently taken over, CaffeInn in Florence Walk. What a jewel! Fabulous food, very reasonably priced, superb service and cakes to die for. The beauty is you can sit outside with the dog even on a rainy day. Thanks guys you have now been promoted to our favourite!!

Quiet but won't be much longer with wonderful food and drink and very friendly service. I would definitely come back.

Hidden away in one of the lanes in Bishop’s Stortford is this brilliant, friendly restaurant .

Fabulous coffee and food. Nice and quiet, friendly staff and good service. Good value for money. We both had the fully toasted, very filling, well cooked and tasty.

Had not been here for a while , our first visit was for breakfast , very good , so we decided a spot of lunch this time.

I had a great halloumi wrap from here... Took it take out back to the office and everyone moaned about how nice it smelt! It was lovely loads of halloumi with some perfectly roasted vegetables!

The halloumi wrap that I ordered to eat-out today was absolutely delicious, the staff were helpful and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Caffe Inn.

Friendly and comfortable with lots of choice. I had a delicious Grilled haloumi salad and a pomegranate and elderflower juice. Lots of choice of coffee, tea, joy chocolate and organic juices, panini’s, salads, jacket spuds, cakes etc etc. Think there is deal with any hot drink and cake for 3 or 4 quid? Not the cheapest place to eat BUT I was happy with what I got for my money, it definitely filled me up and was so tasty. My salad and juice was just under a tenner.

Excellent tasting food served to our table ( outside ) . Although the service was a bit on the slow side .

Our first visit here , and we will return ! Good hot food , a full breakfast and a breakfast ciabatta , both cooked well and not greasy. All cooked fresh , excellent latte and good valie.

I visited Caffeinn today for the first time, despite living in Bishop's Stortford for over 2 years. The cafe is spacious and staff are welcoming and accommodating of our 4 month old daughter.

Been here a few times for breakfast. The service is perfectly friendly and efficient. The choice of food is varied, but no croissants. Nice decor, clean toilet.

Fantastic food. Very friendly staff have time to chat but not in your face. Food presented nice and taste very good I had a wrap and one of their cake. DOG LOVERS you can come with your dog like I did. Very relaxing place to be. Will be back again! !!!

I need to start about the reviews. Are old and unfair compairing to the quality now. I am a regular guest. I am coming with a pleasure. I know the owner who is a chef as well. Very nice smart and calm guy and also talented chef. Always taking the same coffee which is very good. About the foot - always something different. Each time is very tasty delicious. Portions are huge. Adequate. Is not expensive at all compairing to quality. Every day "todays special". Have done some photos so You can see how tasty looks like. Trust me or not coming there is a pleasure for me. Beautiful chillouting courtyard. Always clean. Not overcrowded. Sometimes is working there beautiful friendly Joanna. Excellent service. Fully recommended!!!

En una zona muy tranquila de lunes, así que no hay problema para encontrar mesa. El personal era indiferente y no acogedor. Sin embargo, la camarera que sirve nuestra mesa era cortés. El menú parecía normal menú de cafetería. El servicio era rápido, como es de esperar en un restaurante de medio vacío.

Primera visita ya que ha cambiado de manos de nuevo, un buen café, chocolate caliente, pasteles muy agradable y buena selección de comida decente en el menú, sólo había bebidas y pasteles esta vez, así que no puedo comentar nada más que aquellos. El servicio era amable y rápido y de hecho, abren un poco más tarde, así que pude terminar nuestras bebidas (miércoles a las 5 de la tarde) cerrar el lugar está limpio y es muy práctico con aparcamientos waitrose a menos de un minuto. Vamos a volver en un domingo para probar el menú del almuerzo como los niños comen gratis!

Esta es una zona pedesrian encontré bajando de la calle principal. Es muy común, pero no es terriblemente excitante menú lo que hay es un precio razonable y bien entregado. El servicio es amable y rápido y es un buen lugar para encontrarse en un lugar ruidoso no.

Mi pareja y yo fuimos a comer hoy. El lugar estaba muy lleno, pero francamente todo estaba como era sábado.

Este es un café delicioso café o almuerzo - por tanto que una parte de mí quiere mantener en secreto. Es único y definitivamente sin ser cursi, tiene su propia identidad que se destaca de las cadenas hoteleras. Está un poco escondido y así tiende...

Visited a number of times . But today's visit was the best so far, most excellent food and drink with , comforting surroundings .All in all a good venue .

We used to come to this location when it was an olde worldy tea shop and walking in it looked a bit rough but my wife told me this is the style. Ditto the waiter who looked quite scruffy. We waited a while to place our order so the start of the visit was not too encouraging however once the food and drink arrived then all was well. A very nice jacket potato for me and excellent sandwich just as requested by my wife, both off a very extensive menu. The service was attentive and one of the waitresses was particularly polite in asking if all was well. So, get over the initial impression and the rest is fine.

What mixed reviews! Afraid my experience was not good. Ordered coffee and jacket potato with coronation chicken. To be fair service was good and so was the coffee, but jacket was under cooked and chicken was dry and not nice at all. I just ate the salad and left most of the rest. I wanted to complain but my husband was in a generous mood so we just paid and left. The waitress cleared the plates but didn't even ask why we had left so much food! Not good customer service. Perhaps we just caught them on a bad day, but I'm afraid I wouldn't go back or recommend to others.

I have been before and service has been fine and have had some nice meals, including the salads. I went there about 16:15 on a Saturday afternoon (it's open until 17:00). However from the start was made to feel like a nuisance. The staff all looked incredibly fed up. I had a coffee and scone, coffee was nice, the scone was basic, I've had better from supermarkets. About 16:30, the staff started clearing up very loudly, banging away to the point my partner and I could not hear eachother. At one point we were just stared at and we also overhead staff saying they wanted to start putting everything away and sighing a lot. As soon as I picked up last bit of my scone my plate was whisked away. I don't know why they open til 17:00 if they get so annoyed when customers arrive in the last hour. Plenty of better places to go in Stortford, won't be going back.

Cannot fault caffeInn. staff are very friendly and happy. Food is very nice and I like the fact you can see the chef preparing and cooking your food. There is a happy atmosphere each time I come in here. Suitable for all ages. Plenty of space between tables too which I like.

I am very well travelled here and abroad but I have found that Caffeinn makes the best coffee by far. Their home made scones are huge and full of fruit. The staff are very friendly and it has a good ambience too.

Popped in for coffee following a recommendation. Couldn't resist the freshly baked quiche on a filo base - delicious. Friend had jacket potato and chilli - potato was creamy and wasn't overcooked - topping was very good. Latte and cappuccino also very good. Calm atmosphere and attentive staff. We'd go again.

A lovely little cafe set in a quiet location away from the busy high street.The waitress was very friendly & extremely helpful which was lovely.There was colouring to keep my son occupied until the drinks and food arrived which was a bonus.The coffee is great. Would definitely visit here again and try one of the delicious looking cakes.

They still have a large range of gluten free on the menu and the breakfast was excellent and served quickly. Very friendly staff and a good choice of food.

This is tucked away in a small shopping mall, and is well worth seeking out. A veritable haven away from the hustle and bustle.Had spent much of the afternoon walking and exploring Bishop Stortford, so was feeling footsore and in need of a decent cup of coffee in a quiet, unhurried environment, when I stumbled across this place.I received a warm welcome from the staff and my order was quickly prepared. An excellent americano coffee, very smooth and delicious, no trace of bitterness that you often encounter in the chains. An excellent coffee at a very good price.The staff were chatty and attentive. Well worth the visit.

What a nice place. Quiet and unassuming. We ordered the all day breakfast and it was beautiful. Tasty and well presented. Staff also very helpful and friendly.

Revisited for the second time, even though changed hands, I was delighted to see the same lovely welcoming waitress I was greeted with on my previous visit, and the amazing carrot cake was still on the menu. A lovely gem of a place.

Today my hubby and I went for lunch at caffeinn. This is the second time. The first time the service was slow and the machine that makes chips didn't work. Ok no problem we order something else. The waitress didn't seem to understand or quite frankly want to she had quite quite a awkward way. Second time we go in no lagsane. Not my problem attitude from waitress. Twice visited twice we had this kind of service. Today 6/61/15 a little girl was skating around the cafe on those trainers with wheels. Hot food is being walked about by the waitress, people are walking about who then would have been responsible for her actions had she knocked into someone whether it be she hit a child or an older lady or gentleman?? She was obviously staying there while somebody worked as she sat at a table. She was old enough to know better but with no supervision. So we won't be going and we won't recommend it to anyone !!!

The waitress we had was very polite and attentive, I only had a cheese on toast which was nice nothing special. It was very clean, in most of the other cafe's around when you ask for a glass its dirty in here everything was clean. I'd definitely come here again.
