Caffeine&Machine in Stratford-on-Avon

Realmente quería visitar esta máquina de cafeína durante nuestro fin de semana de visita del 21 / 22 de febrero. Anteriormente habíamos visitado C&M en Hampshire y fue brillante, así que estaba dispuesto a probar The Hill. El ambiente era bueno y bastante ocupado, pero la comida y el servicio era terrible. En primer lugar, nuestro pedido de bebidas fue olvidado, así que tuvimos que pedir dos veces por bebidas. Nos dijeron una espera de 20 minutos para la comida y todavía estábamos esperando una hora más tarde. 50 minutos en nuestra espera después de que perseguimos la comida dijeron que estaban sin tiras de pollo - cómo les tomó 50 minutos para decirnos esto no sé. De todas formas, cuando finalmente salió la comida, las costillas y la hamburguesa estaban frías como piedras, la carne era sosa y el cerdo tirado no era comestible. Las papas fritas de halloumi estaban bien, pero realmente no se puede arruinar estos! De hecho, sentimos pena por las camareras - tantos platos de comida estaban regresando y estaban claramente acostumbrados a que sus orejas fueran masticadas por los clientes infelices. No recomiendo comer aquí!

Verdaderamente terrible sobre el precio de la comida chatarra. La hamburguesa era insípida y las patatas fritas frías. La elección de cerveza era muy limitada. Entiendo que la gente viene aquí por la escena de los coches, pero ¿la comida demasiado cara tiene que ser tan mala?

La ubicación real y el lugar es precioso, si no fuera por un buen ambiente y los coches sin duda no volvería! Pedimos comida que tardó más de una hora en llegar y cuando llegó apenas era comestible, con un huevo que ni siquiera estaba cocinado! ¡No estoy seguro de lo que tomó todo el tiempo! Hablamos con los miembros del personal e incluso con el gerente para preguntarles dónde estaba nuestra comida y cada vez que decían que la revisarían... ¡una vez que finalmente llegó la comida salió 1 por 1 para que no pudiéramos comer todos juntos! ¡Ni siquiera tocamos la comida una vez que llegó, ya que apenas era comestible! Absolutamente no volvería a comer de nuevo!

Comienza con los puntos buenos: buena selección de cerveza, siempre suele ser algo interesante en cuanto a coches, personal amable. Puntos malos: principalmente la comida. La comida es terrible (la pizza es pasable) pero las hamburguesas siempre están frías, junto con las patatas fritas. Los precios son ridículos. £ 13 por una hamburguesa fría y una espera de 30 minutos. . . Reembolso. Pot suerte con lo que los coches se puede ver - no es culpa del lugar, pero una cámara en vivo sería una buena idea para ver lo que hay.

Decidió venir aquí por comida y reservar entradas. A pesar de llegar a las 5 PM en punto cuando el evento comenzó pero el aparcamiento ya estaba lleno. Eso no es necesariamente culpa del lugar, pero el servicio de comida y bebida ciertamente lo es. Después de esperar una mesa pedimos bebidas, que tardaron 30 minutos en llegar. Nos dieron menús y nos dijeron que muchos elementos estaban fuera del menú, pero después de ser dejados para elegir entre los elementos restantes del menú nunca tuvimos la oportunidad de pedir realmente. Tratamos de llamar la atención de las camareras en numerosas ocasiones a lo que ella respondió “estaré allí”, pero después de casi dos horas de tratar de ordenar y ser completamente ignorados nos fuimos. El lugar es agradable, pero esta es la segunda vez que he estado y tuve que esperar durante mucho tiempo para la comida. Está bastante claro que los propietarios no tienen experiencia en la gestión de un restaurante y realmente se nota. ¡Ni siquiera es tan grande! Les envié un correo electrónico la última vez que fui para hacerles saber lo que pasó, pero no recibí respuesta, pero es justo decir que no volveré pronto. Si hace buen tiempo hay algunos coches bonitos para ser vistos. Pero la mayor parte del aparcamiento no está iluminado, el servicio de comida y bebida es una broma y los propietarios claramente no se preocupan lo suficiente para responder, y mucho menos arreglarlo. Me encantaba venir aquí, pero en base a mi última visita este lugar merece fallar.

So where to start! me and my partner invited some friends to go see some cars that were showing and to have a chance up ( keeping in mind it’s about 2 hour to get there ) we designed to grab a bite to eat that was the first mistake, we all sat and had a chat for 20mins and decided to finally order our food we end up getting 4 burgers and a pizza around 7pm, we continued to enjoying each other’s company and drinks when we all noticed that it’s almost 8pm and non of us had gotten food yet, so we asked when our food will be out, the manager told us to wait 10 more minutes and it will be out, boy was he wrong another 25 mins goes by and at this rate we were all questioning whether we should stay or go and like magic our food finally came out but wait my parents pizza is still missing and yet again we got told to wait another ten minutes for a pizza! Finally the pizza shows up at this point we’re all fed up and wanting to go, so we finish up and pay but the another thing that I had noticed was that table who was sitting across from us was sat there for about 20 minutes then 10 mins late their food came out I’ve never felt so neglected by a company in my life, don’t get me wrong it’s a lovely venue but to food isn’t worth the wait!! ( total time waiting for food around 1 hour and 40mins )

Lovely place to have a meal with your car/photography enthusiast friends. All the staff and customers are friendly, and are happy to answer any questions about the area, or about the cars if they know the answer. £10 per car and £5 per bike. Meals are reasonably priced too and taste amazing! Thank to Nadine for serving our food too!!

Heads up terrable food. Very very very slow on delivering food. Don't give a dam. Very expensive. Parking to go to the pub is a ripp off. Other places like this one offer the same entertainment, better food for your money rather that cold food being served, and free parking.

Nuestro lugar de reunión local para los entusiastas del automóvil y las personas que aman la cultura del automovilismo. He estado varias veces, primavera, verano e invierno. Ambiente acogedor, coches únicos, gran pizza y café. Es como si un museo conociera un club social, que celebra culturas de autos pasadas, presentes y futuras. Siempre ve algo nuevo, un coche ultra raro, grupos de bicicletas y gente interesante con la que hablar. Estacione detrás, pida comida y bebida en su mesa a través de códigos QR y una aplicación que realmente funciona en lugar de algunos lugares. El servicio es lento en las horas pico, (que es todo el tiempo en los fines de semana soleados), pero un montón de distracciones mientras espera. Solo ordene tan pronto como llegue. Cuando estás sentado afuera en verano con música, pizza y autos clásicos, ¿qué no te gusta?

No está lejos de ser muy bueno. Un lugar consistente para que los cabezales de gasolina se reúnan con una buena cantidad de espacio y estacionamiento. ¡Fantástico! Cuando llegamos el lugar estaba bien organizado, dirigiendo el tráfico dentro y fuera del lugar. Amplio espacio exterior con muchas plazas de aparcamiento y numerosos bancos para comer y beber. Un árbol precioso, centro - ish, sobre los bancos al aire libre y un buen número de tiendas de campaña / marquesinas con asientos y unos cuantos calentadores de pirámide - pulgares hacia arriba! El servicio era as - personal encantador haciendo un gran trabajo. Comimos dentro del edificio principal. La comida tomó bastante tiempo - 30 minutos ish. El café llegó caliente, no caliente. El té de menta estaba medio lleno - ambos tardaron 15 / 20 minutos en llegar. Cuando la hamburguesa apareció estaba caliente en el mejor de los casos. La hamburguesa se cambió inmediatamente y luego caliente. Buen trabajo. Los propietarios deben ser aplaudidos por un lugar tan único y el personal igualmente elogiado. Un poco más de organización e infraestructura - tal vez una cocina al aire libre adicional ayudaría. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo. x

Lugar encantador con un montón de potencial pero dedicado noches debe ser para los vehículos que las noches están dedicadas también. No es la opción preferida por los miembros del personal para elegir vehículos financiados. Es una pena que la escena del automóvil se haya volcado a esto. Noche de 90 s y hay un puñado de coches de 90 s el resto de los coches financiados oscurecidos habituales, lo que es una pena teniendo en cuenta que los coches de 90 s reales que asisten son empujados hacia atrás.

Excelente café, comida, cerveza. El personal es excelente y otros huéspedes son como - cabezas de gasolina con un montón de coches frescos para babear al mismo tiempo. Hemos visitado 3 veces, esta es la primera vez que reservamos una habitación. La habitación era amplia, limpia y bien equipada. La cama era cómoda con ropa de cama de buena calidad. Personal muy acogedor y servicial. Sin duda volveré de nuevo 🏎️

Usually an interesting place for cars and stop for some lunch. Charged £10 to attend, lunch order was forgotten so had to chase and reorder - took over an hour. Not many cars there, I think I took the most interesting and we were just passing. I've been previously when it's been a lot better

Came here for a short break with my boyfriend as a birthday gift, it held up well as he absolutely loved it! The food was amazing can’t fault it, as my boyfriend says “the best cheese sauce he’s ever had” Breakfast was included in the stay and we were so impressed, you could choose anything of the menu with one hot and cold drink. The coffee was absolutely delicious and the sausages tasted so good, can’t fault it at all. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the atmosphere was booming every day we were there including weekdays. The room was clean, modern and comfortable! The only downfall is our shower stopped working and there was nothing they could do… this was extremely disappointing as I really needed to wash my hair, the shower head was a roof one meaning you can’t take it off the hook to use and the shower was ice cold. The staff were apologetic but it put a damper on an almost perfect stay.

Great idea but not sure what i'm paying for. Attended this morning and had breakfast but there was nothing going on. I paid £10 to go to a cafe. Perhaps there is more going on later in the day, i feel short changed. Next time i take a morning drive out i'll just go to a cafe.

Second time staying at the hill , we stayed June 2021 and it was fantastic , especially after lockdown was lively friendly just what we needed, plus some awesome cars to ogle at. Fast forward Aug bank holiday weekend we booked two nights , lots of friendly people , tables outside music beers/food and again lush cars from classic to modern super cars no judgement on what you have. Bar area nice food good small menu but it’s lovely , margarita pizza is especially tasty , you can order outside using the qr code it works well , there also is a small bar in the teepee outside , which is warm if there is a chill in the air plus some additional seating. Hotel accommodation is lovely nice rooms , first time I stayed on the middle floor , double bed it was boiling but there was a fan , decent shower , tea and coffee provided plus some waters , breakfast was delivered to your room , I think it was cereal/breakfast bars juice coffee, it was lovely milk was on the landing in a fridge, fast forward to our Aug stay we opted for a king size bed much nicer , room 8 also a huge bath in , this was located at the top of the building up a steep stair case , now our room again was fantastic but i don’t know if it is due to being a older building but the water pressure was slow but still a lovely shower/bath, hairdryer what can i say other than useless , kept cutting out. My only grumble was as last time and as your website stated , sun to thur breakfast is brought to you , we waited and waited nothing so my husband went to search out what the score was , oh we don’t do that now, update your website or leave some information in the bedrooms be most helpful to guests, a super helpful lady ( team leader ) in a pink beanie brought us up to cooked breakfast and lovely they were, your staff are so good , this lady stood out as literally she never stopped all the time I was there and so helpful, I hope you pay her well , as asset to your team though as I said every one was good. You need to 1….. update your website 2…..reply to email/messages ( or even answer the phone) I tried calling three times prior to my stay and eventually on my fourth attempt got the phone answered but unprofessional All in all a fantastic weekend, it was super busy, fun to be had by all , and some absolutely amazing cars from the old classic to new modern super cars, no judgement just lovely people with a passion

Cars are great, service is, well, I have no words really! 1hr 40 minute wait for some food ordered on the QR code at the table. Despite being promised “it’s 3-4 minutes away on several occasions that was clearly rubbish when the came to ask wheat I’d ordered!! When it did finally arrive it was mediocre at best. Don’t come here if you’re hungry. Only thing that was worth it was seeing the cars

Paid to visit on a Wednesday night after a long time not visiting. There were all of 10 Italian cars there, half of which were average hatchbacks. Waited 20 mins for two beers to be delivered by a guy with ‘Manager’ on his t-shirt. No apology given for the delay. Food arrived cold. Very few visitors, which I’m starting to wonder is because it was an event for which you had to buy tickets. This used to be a busy venue midweek, but it seems not any more.

If you are a “petrol head”, or just like cars then this is a must visit destination. The place was truly buzzing with a wide range of different cars to view and chat with their owners. Organisation to enter, and park was fault free. Plenty of places to just sit, enjoy a beverage and take it all in.

Never been before so thought a visit was due, and looked nice. Sadly hoping to have a good service and breakfast turned out to be dissapointing. 1st impressions count so guess wanted to be impressed as this place is not cheap. Think firstly bringing the drinks over was normal but didnt have the milk for the coffee, so waited and waited . Noticed the Lady served someone and finally returned with milk. Why not use a try? The the breakfasts, and this is where it looks like they failed. Eggs looks runny / like a snotty view. Bacon was like Leather but also streaks of Fatty sides. The breakfast had a greasy glaze which I seen at some local truck stop. All in all . not a place I would eat. They clearly cant cook or present. I passed on my feedback and the lady was sorry and would pass it on . Too late . Had a chance to shine but not on the breakfast > Even said how about a discount and it was ignored.. Anyway. first and last time I do any food here. Sad days as its a local place.

Love this place!!! I’ve only been once but we’re going again soon. So many different cars to see and the atmosphere was amazing. We got food and it was great, friendly staff and friendly prices. Amazing picnic spot and an overall great day. Loads of places to park as the whole thing is a car show sort of thing. Great music too

Literally brilliant concept, I loved the experience if its cars you like this is the place to be such a great vibe and lovely staff excellent breakfast and i know i will be back soon, drove 100 miles to get there and it was very much worth it!!
