Lovely Nero with nice coffee and food, staff are pleasant too

Best hot chocolate !! really appreciate the diversity range of vegan options. This shop has the sweetest staff in town.

It’s my favourite coffee shop ever! Next to The Theatre Royal and Concert Hall . Nottingham . Foreman Street. Very friendly, very welcoming, very clean and efficient. Lovely staff and quick service . Best Decaf coffee ever and El Salvador to die for. Sad to See Matt go today . Still you have excellent staff.

Great Coffee. Great Staff. Great Service. I rarely visit Starbucks now. Nero has continually gave me better deals and their loyalty scheme is so much more simple. Get a stamp for a coffee or two if you use a reusable cup. They don't charge extra for soy milk either.

very poor service of coffee and Belgian cake. coffee was overflowing from cup and Belgian cake was sweating like it was not fresh or it had been stored elsewhere. plate that it was served on was wet. table was dirty and had to shoo away flies. on the next table there was a coffee cup that looked like it had been there from the previous day. very disappointed and not the service that I am used to from Cafe Nero.

Always a pleasurable experience . Very friendly team of baristas led by Jim the manager . Very clean and nice atmosphere.

Ordered 2 white chocolate mochas. Had to return the first order as the cream had gone off. The lady did make a new batch, although offered no apology. No cream left but no refund offered. Tastes the second batch and neither of us could taste any white chocolate. It just tasted like a latte. Went back to double check she'd not forgotten to put the white chocolate in. She claimed not but we honestly could taste no difference to a latte. Really not happy after paying extra for a treat drunk and getting neither the white choc taste not the cream or choc topping. I was made to feel bad for asking. Will not be ordering from here again.

Refused to serve drinks, lazy employee advised business was out of product. Went into two other cafe Nero's and none were out. Advised shipment was received yesterday do not recommend this lazy establishment

Its Nero, decent coffee is a given, but what helps this one stand out is the cosy environment this place enjoys, great for a place to catch up with folks or just spend some laid back time together, also a convenient place to meet up for the cinema or other activity in the city.

Started popping into this branch as it has a good vibe and is comfortable enough without feeling too crowded or exposed. The staff here are awesome too.

Very cosy, nice atmosphere and has an 'underground' feel to it. Comfortable seating, suitable for meeting with friends or just relaxing. I look for coffee shops that are good for reading, and this one is the best I've found so far. I could read and drink tea or coffee here for hours. Didn't give 5 stars because the food is quite pricey, but they do have a wide range of food options, especially the sweet treats!

Popped in for a quick snack before visiting the Theatre Royal. Opted for a toasted flat bread filled with mushroom, chicken and avocado - delicious! the coffee to go with it was just as good. Set in what used to be a pleasant independent mediterranean restaurant, theyve taken advantage of the characteristic architectural features of the listed building. Set right right in the city centre opposite the Theatre Royal and Concert Hall - walking distance from anywhere you wish to go in Nottingham! Well worth a visit.

Loads of different places to grab a snack or a coffee in Nottingham, this Caffe Nero understands competition, excellent staff, quick service and generally a good place to get a cup of Joe.

Reduced from 5* to 2* Quality has gone down. Once paid for speciality but was served a very basic drink. Will surely come back in hope for good coffee.

Although my Latte was hot and tasty , the Breakfast Roll I ordered was not as hot as it normally is ; and really I should have said something at the time as it was only lukewarm.

Very cosy, has a sofa if you want to relax and read something too. The location is great and there are many other franchises around so uf you're a lover of a good coffee or top quality hot chocolate with lunch mind you shouldn't pass by a Caffe Nero. Been there many times and as usual their treats and drinks are very good quality. I will keep coming back there for sure!

Great little Caffe Nero in Nottingham city centre. In an old building and is nice and cosy inside. Visited on a Wednesday afternoon and was much quieter than the larger Nero nearby. Well worth going to if you're looking for a coffee

Coffee great and sandwiches delicious but not happy that cakes are now UNCOVERED on the counter. Staff say it's health and safety and risk of cross contamination. Saw someone with hayfever sneezing near them in one of your cafes. Surely that's not good

This is a wonderful place to have a coffee and watch the world go buy. It's not the biggest Caffè Nero, but it has a warm and relaxing feeling to it.

I am not a massive fan of chain coffee shops (though that doesn't seem to stop me going to them) and of those that exist in this country, Café Nero is almost certainly my least favourite. However, this Café Nero on Forman Street very much bucks the trend as the place has somehow (and I have no clue how) managed to give a semblance of the impression of an old fashioned coffee house - the sort you used to find before this country got the coffee bug. I think it might be because the whole place is quite small and tight (you need to be careful when going in and out of the front door as it is pretty low) and has the feel ofa very old building. I see in a previous review that this was once Nottingham's oldest restaurant. I did not know this, but I can well believe it. The coffee/tea is absolutely no different from what you'll get in about 98% of the other millions of Nero shops across the land, but the atmosphere most certainly is. The location is incredibly handy for city centre, the Theatre Royal, Crowne Plaza hotel and the Cornerhouse complex, which has a casino, large cinema, restaurants and some weird adventure place within. This café is well worth a visit and I never thought I would say that about a Café Nero.

Pleasant place to sit and rest while visiting Nottingham. Situated in the city centre opposite the Victoria Shopping centre and in walking distance from the Theatre Royal and Concert Hall. Offer a good range of coffees, hot drinks and cold refreshing drinks. A reasonable amount of cakes and biscuits on offer, including gluten free options. Plenty of seating, though tables are not always cleaned after being used. Child friendly.

Always receive excellent coffee & service

Remember when it was Punchinello's? It's now a cozy Nero with all the usual fare. Set in the buzzing Forman Street area it is handy for the cinema, Theatre Royal etc. Whenever I've been the staff have been friendly and efficient. There are steps down to get in, so maybe not so good for the disabled. There's a large outside seating area, brill for people watching.
