They close very early; can't compete with Starbucks that closes at 10 pm.

Great place for coffee and pastries. My last day in Nottingham my girlfriend and I stopped by here and tried a few drinks as well as the caramel shortbread and the Sicilian Lemon Muffin. Everything we had was amazing. I wish we had come here more while I was there. We loved it.

Poor service, staff care more about engaging with each other, than with the actual customers. Maybe if it was the other way around they'd get the order right. Pathetic when you pay 4 pounds for a coffee and don't get what you ordered.

Didn’t get to try the coffee… walked in, two staff, a girl and a boy, were talking, they didn’t acknowledge us when we walked in, they looked right at us and turned back around to finish their conversation, still not even acknowledging we were waiting. We waiting about 4 minutes, they still carried on their conversation. At this point we walked out and went to 200 Degrees coffee shop up the road which was fantastic. Wouldn’t go to Cafe Nero again if it was free!

Good food, great service from friendly staff

We use this Coffee Shop every week and 100% say that the staff make this place. Fantastic Coffee with explempory service.

Fairly quick service always seems to be room to sit but they do recommend only an hour sit at busy times so I presume it gets busy at lunch time

I got a free large latte as my stamp card was full. Staff were nice, not over friendly. People who go there alot will know the layout but I didn't and so sat in the front. There's more seating at the back and upstairs. Toilet needs attention as things are broken, not sure whose job it is and have bern ignored in past so told nobody.

Friendly service, but the place doesn't seem to get cleaned much during the day. Tables left dirty with rubbish. The plus side is there is free wifi and plenty of seating areas for a relatively small shop.

Great coffee! Highly recommend the mocha

I've been coming here often over the past couple of years and have since got to know a few members of staff. They are all super nice and I've witnessed them handle really busy circumstances and technical faults in a great manner, in particular Becky who is lovely and chatty. I look forward to grabbing my Mocha Frappe and Chocolate Muffin every Saturday before work/on my lunch break ;) I will miss coming here so often but won't hesitate to grab that muffin whenever I'm in town! Thanks guys

Nothing gluten free except for a small prepackaged brownie

My mum and I went to Caffe Nero hoping to have a nice experience however our experience turned out to be awful! The AC was on even though it was quite cold outside, there was no space to sit downstairs and we had to wait 10 minutes just for the staff to heat some soup and pasta! We were unhappy to say the least... Especially when another customer was served before us despite us making the order first... Wouldn't recommend as the staff didn't seem very helpful, especially to disabled wheelchair users as we had to ask someone to grab the door when my mum and I wanted to head out.

Pretty good and slightly cheaper than Starbucks. Nice decor and staff are friendly.

It never dissapoints! You must try the cinamon roll... I loved it!

Always order flat white coconut milk, it is give sweetened taste 😋

Great coffee but very warm inside

Some staff very good, a number seem somewhat vague. Two such examples just about managed to serve me a moment ago, before retiring to the outside seating to smoke roll-up cigarettes.

I have to write this review because you have stopped using cash! I don't want to hear excuses , won't be going to any cafe Nero anymore instead I will go to Weatherspoon where I can use cash and drink as much good coffee as I want ! Scandalous!!.. Very dissapointed, some people prefer cash to plastic card !!.

Love Caffè Nero, although the cake selection was poor this time and the one I wanted had already been sold to an ubereats customer which let it down, or would have given 5 stars.

Disapointing to say that during a company visit to Nottingham, I had the pleasure of stumbling across this cafe tucked away on a beautiful street. However the service I received from a somewhat larger brunette lady was appalling and quite honestly ruined what could have been a very pleasant trip. Very disapointing to see this type of attitude on the frontline of your store.

This one and Bridlesmith are the two best in town for service and seating.

I came last week and ordered a soya latte to go, I didn’t take a sip until I was down the road and it was BURNING HOT and when I took the lid off it was half empty because most of it was foam! I was running late so I couldn’t go back and say anything. TODAY I went back and ordered a soya flat white which again was BURNING HOT! I’m confused as to why two members of staff don’t know how to make drinkable coffee! I wouldn’t go there for a coffee but the staff were nice... it basically defeats the object of it being a coffee shop. I think the staff ALL need to be trained AGAIN in how to make a coffee. Sorry NERO

Popped in today to hide out of the rain. Sat with my flat white & espresso cake looking out onto the street. Lovely cosy coffee shop with a great atmosphere. I will return and recommend you do too.

I used to drink my daily espresso at Nero 18 years ago. Glad to be back and happy to see this cafe is as special as before.

I like cafe Nero reasonable prices and nice easy chairs to sit in especially upstairs where one has a good view of the street

I must say this is one of our favourite places to go. Staff is alwyas extremely friendly and kind. And chai latte there taste much better then other branches. Decore and building is very cosy. Visited yesterday and and i was using my 02 free drink offer the first time. So the lovely gentle help me choose a drink and added caramel shot to make it sweeter. And he recomanded to download thier app where you can get free drinks. So yeah. I will always go back there. Love it.

I really enjoy the coffee served in Caffe Nero ,I know it's a cafe brand endemic throughout the UK but I love their cappuccino coffee. This particular city centre outlet is superb,nice decor and furnishings, lots of seating options spread throughout this Caffe Nero ,it's just a great cafe. We were here on a Friday evening, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, we got a cappuccino coffee each ,these were served steaming hot, we just chilled out and took in the great Caffe Nero we were in and planned out the night ahead in this great cafe. My cappuccino coffee was superb,we really enjoyed them before we moved on and for a first time visit to this particular Caffe Nero . This Caffe Nero is easy to locate on Bridlesmith Gate and is most definitely well worth checking out.

Is like my second home. Wether is for breakfast or for lunch. The atmosphere is 10/10. Recently the food choice are been upgraded too and the new cookies are dangerously delicious

What lovely time we had at the caffe Nero We enjoyed our cuppocinos and the man that served us was very nice and helpfull. When we asked him to check if i can have the cakes and rolls as i am allergic to rapseed and vegetable fat and mustard And he went to check and sadly i couldnt have them . We also had a chat with the other man about coffee . Yes we will be back . We reccomend this place for a service.

Tucked away down near all the lovely shops that some you only dare to look in the window of, this unfortunately still felt like a chain shop, the staff were nice though, although ran off there feet and you could sadly see that in the quality of the standards of cleanliness, the place felt all abit gruby and run down, the coffee was yummy but think café Nero should perhaps come and give this place a lick of paint and a cheer up for where it stands is such a high end area. This was my first visit to a café Nero I'm not sure I would go again.

Expensive but good quality coffee and cakes

The coffee here is extremely good, better than most other big coffee chains. The only downside is the high price, especially for the specialty coffees such as mocha's.

I'm always happy when oat milk is available to substitute milk products. Flat white was on point and Melanie the barista was super nice.

Frequently visit here for coffee, find the staff always friendly etc and it a very relaxed atmosphere, can be slow service at busy times however, but the reality is to many people in British culture rush around lol!

An OK and typical town centre Caffè Nero

I have to give only 3* . All the staff are amazing, just one girl is constantly on slow motions 🙈. She is nice dont get me wrong, but come on girl put on the speed a bit.

The best seats in the house are those in the window. (Although the back room and upstairs are comfortable). I like to sit on the stool in the window, sup my cappuccino, munch my porridge and watch the world go by. Situated on one of Nottngham’s busiest shopping streets this is a great place to take a break. It’s the usual Caffè Nero offering, and in my experience always served with a smile.

My wife and I always call here for a coffee and a piece of cake when in town we both prefer it to the other well known chains. Its fair to say most are over priced but we still call

We`d arrived in Nottm too early as shops don`t open till 11am on Sundays and it was chilly, but thank goodness for Cafe Nero, which is situated close to many of the designer and independent shops. We enjoyed a lovely coffee in warm and cosy surroundings with friendly service and magazines to read. We were so busy chatting we stayed longer and started our day with a smile.

Whilst attending Nottingham Trent university business centre, we went here for our breakfast cuppa and danish then returned for lunch. Great menu lots of choice healthy and scrummy along with exceptional customer service! Highly recommended If you liked my review please press helpful 👍 thank you 😊

Bit of a wait to be served land there were only 3 people on front of me), but it was nice and clean and the staff were lovely. Tea and cake were both fab (love the lemon cheesecake, maybe to much!) nice place to relax :)
