Caffe Nero in Bournemouth

Staff are good but it's more run down than the average Caffe Nero (other than perhaps the ones next to London tube stations). Lack of proper long tables for people remote working/meeting. It's one of those buildings where you lose 4G as soon as you walk in - but logging into "The Cloud", the connection is also very slow.

Good always clean and tidy, efficient polite service. Nice Christmas decorations too, especially compared with other coffee shops nearby.

Lovely Caffè Nero, coffee was good and bonus that our dog was allowed in, great drinks and lovely staff.

Morning coffee! It's just before 9am and the staff here are so welcoming and happy, what a credit to your business they are!!!

When ordering a coffee, the barista told me I was dressed inappropriately and that I needed to wear a longer top to be served there. She told me she’d “let me off this time” as the barista behind her started laughing. Never had a barista tell me what I can and can’t wear in a cafe but it was shocking. Made me feel horrible and ruined the experience. Will not be coming back.

I'd never been to a nero but I was very pleased with this one. They had a cortado which is my favourite Spanish coffee type and it was spot on. The lady making it was really nice and on the second time offered me what I think was a points card or something similar. I'd maybe do something in the back part in regards to décor and I can't remember if there was music playing in the background but besides that, all good.

Went in this Nero for coffee with my own cup, when i ask for two stamps on my telephone app the woman said I only get stamps if I pay by telephone, I always get two stamps on Costa app when paying cash,

Cheaper and more convenient than Starbucks

Nice comfy armchairs for some, but limited seats downstairs and apparently more seating upstairs. Pleasant efficient staff and coffee and cakes were lovely, mushroom toastie not so good.

Just a quick coffee, the Columbian roast was very nice..

I love the interior design of Caffe Nero shops especially this one. Even the pictures are on the wall marked with "N" they are great. The service was great and coffee was fine too.

The place, the atmosphere has a good "radiation" by the staff of the delicate enteriour. Staff is pollite, courteous & the coffee is very authentic and the good Italian one. It's absolutely Covid safe we have plenty of space...

The staff in Nero is always so nice!!! Makes this franchise my first choice of coffee.

Super busy Saturday September 30th afternoon, staff working extremely hard serving, whilst also keeping tables and floors clean, positive experience.

The coffee is excellent. Lily, in particular is a quite fabulous barista, who always prepares my mocha to a very high standard. It might be a corporate /franchise—type entity but this is the best coffee shop in central Bournemouth.

Quick service, friendly cashier. The toastie I ordered was piping hot and delicious. There was also access to toilets!

My friend & l were looking forward to trying the new mango & passion fruit frappe creme, my daughter had previously had it in the Poole branch & said it was delicious, however, ours in Bournemouth was wholly disappointing, no flavour with a couple of squirts of a puree topping & scarcely any better with a few more, the barista wasn't particularly helpful telling us she was only supposed to put two pumps of the puree, wish we'd stuck to our favourite salted caramel & pistachio frappe creme now!

I went to Caffè Nero on Friday and I just had to post a review. The girl in the red t-shirt who served us was so welcoming and had amazing customer service, it was a shame I didn’t get her name. The latte I ordered was made to perfection. I will most definitely be coming back again

There have been some frequent changes at the café recently, which have been a little disconcerting. However, the customer base appears to have re—established itself. The worker with the red hair made an excellent mocha for me — exactly how it ^should be prepared. thank you!

Not only were the staff super slow for having 3 people in the queue on a very quiet morning, it took us 10 minutes from getting served to having our drinks, I asked for the oat biscuit latte and had to then drink a bit before asking for the cream on top and the girls answer was 'we don't have vegan cream' I said I'm not vegan so it's fine normal cream is okay thanks, then the other barista got involved and said 'we do have vegan cream" and went to get it out of the fridge, I had to the repeat myself and say I wasn't vegan I just like the oat drink, she didn't even offer me normal cream which always gets done at the castlepoint store, just filled my reuse cup to the top, so I couldn't have even put the lid on it without it going everywhere. Even then the sprinkles weren't put on top which by this point nearly 15 minutes later,I wasn't going to ask for anything else, but they started talking about me behind the bar (it's a lot easier to hear a whisper than your u think in an empty coffee shop) I've been here a lot and this is the worst service I had. Both baristas were away with the fairies and didn't want to be there at all, no smiles or politeness.

They started closing at 4pm wet floors not practical for my disability, did not listen to my order and gave me wrong drink eve when I corrected them toilets closed the whole time for cleaning, refusing entry to customers.

We went for breakfast... My latte was lovely.. They even had a few gluten free treats that I could have.. The girl who served us was so good and gave excellent customer service... Blonde lady with plaits... I didn't get her name, but she deserves a mention

Not sure what's going on here... although the coffee shop is supposedly open until 5:45pm, at 4pm I queued for ages to be served (only 1 person serving and another person filling up stock) and then was told it was takeaway only. I didn't fancy eating a cheese toasty in the street whilst also trying to hold a latte so I went elsewhere. Seems very strange to stop allowing people to sit in almost 2 hours before the shop closes. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just reviewed your coffee via email you sent but didn't get a chance to review your service which was sadly very poor. Server didn't speak or engage throughout the ordering process and we felt we were a nuisance being there. To top it off the two servers were moaning they had another 5 hours to go. Oh and my large coffee turned into a small coffee and I certainly wasn't going to mention it.

No standard coffee, so have to pay the extra for premium? Sales tactic or for real?

Personal very slow I had to wait 20 min for a coffee and a hot sandwich!

Disappointed. As a colleague at another store, I am shocked with the service and quality of staff and atmosphere. Staff with their hair down, scruffy shoes (bright neon pink!) long nails, attitude, unfriendly and rude. All stood on their phones as if they didn’t want to be there and serve people. Really letting the Nero team down guys. Not that hard to smile and give good service, may I say these are all in black t-shirts too!!

Coffee tables were not clean. Even where we sat there were food crumbs. I do not recommend.

Is a nice caffè and finally a place where you can have a proper espresso.

Just a tip for the staff. Look at them when you’re talking to customers. I’m trying to point at a cake and the woman had her back to me. Attitude was awful to be honest. I won’t be back.

Not very hygienic and cold soup

Used to like it here , went in today , toaster not working , down and out sat bear sugar station , stinking , clearly not eating or drinking , place generally tired and seemed grubby , nobody wiping down tables at all , and it smells stail , needs a good scrub

The trainee made a perfect chai latte on two occasion for us, great service and great staff , definitely one of our favourite coffee shops in Bournmouth

I ordered a ' 2good 2go ' orders and they failed to deliver both times. The second time I arrived at the coffee shop and no one knew I had ordered. I have to ask myself is this a sigh of how the overall shop is run?

Firstly, this is an anomaly with Nero's. Usually, I enjoy it as cafés go but this visit was not so good. A dirty spoon was given with the porridge and when I asked for a clean one, the look spoke a thousand words. The server then became rather curt. She then proceeded to wipe around the porridge pot with a dirty cloth. This was not a good experience here.

Cleanliness at terrible state. Spoons, trays and tables were dirty. My coffee was served in wrong cup, also my fiancé had a imprint of lipstick on her cup. Terrible experience.

I have to say after many years of having coffee and food at this cozy Nero cafe that is my favourite in Bournemouth town. Lovely atmosphere to have coffee with friends, staff and customers. Tables are always clean. The whole place is looked after by hard working trained staff. Coffee are made by heart from smiling, respectful and professional baristas. Customer service is always top with Respect and peace. Highly recommended. Thanks

Lovely branch. The staff have clearly made every effort to ensure the inside is as clean, comfortable and safe as can be. Displaying very clearly that they care for their clients, I would have no Hesitation using this branch again, even in the current climate.

Lovely cafe and well organised for the circumstances at this time.

They had no food or snacks. Both staff members were on their phones when we arrived. When we were noticed we were told that as we were in a queue.(just my wife and me) we Must put our masks on. But it would appear the staff can wear theirs on their chin. All drinks are served in disposable cups which I get, but my wife ordered a hot chocolate with cream.... well when she took the lid off it just went everywhere. Not the best experience here and will think twice before returning.

If you want to drink good coffee, not in a paper cup, in a quiet and comfortable place, this is your place. Also the people are very friendly and the service is 10. The coffee is really good. I love.
