Best way to start the day....coffee at Neros

I treated a client and myself to a hot chocolate. It was in a very small cup and was very expensive. The hot chocolate was quite cold and managed to drink it within 5 minutes. I had planned to kill some time in there whilst we waited for something in CEX to be completed. Alas, we were done far to quickly.

Typical Costa however the AC was too strong and uncomfortable. Staff can't do anything about it .

Now overly impressed as ordered a latte after work, sat down in a comfy chair. Was told as I sat down to please move to front of shop as they were cleaning . Why not say when I was ordering . Were zero comfy chairs, all squashy and noisy. Avoiding this in future for relaxing after work !

Great coffee shop. The baristas are fun and friendly and remember your order from week to week. Not a large place but plenty of seating. Has a toilet.

We really love Cafe Nero, I think they serve the best drinks in town, quite hot enough to enjoy the drink. There is a wide selection of sandwiches, served hot or cold. Variety of cakes available. The staff are friendly and helpful. The environment was kept clean, all tables were clean & ready for incoming customers. I highly recommend everyone to come and them out.

The coffee in the coffee shop is excellent. the staff are nice. Management should pay attention to the cleanliness of the sanitary area.

The girl behind the counter with the headscarf and glasses on is very rude. She’s obviously not a morning person. Obviously need to take a day off and is in the wrong job and the floor tiles are cracked

Good served nice place to sit and enjoy

No idea how to make a pistachio iced latte. Have tried great ones from other branches. Told her it was not right and she became defensive, made it again and it was still bad. Don’t hire people to make drinks if they can’t make them.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. I loved it. Good coffee as in any nero. Some of the seats are worn, but besides that, it's very nicr place to go.

Everything was fine but very disappointed that my milkshake which I had in (not takeaway) was served in a single use cup. Come on guys - we pay extra for sitting in so would like a proper cup, and we don’t want to contribute to more waste

Genuinely such a nice place, staff are always kind, energetic, charismatic and patient to wait for your order. Seating is comfortable, there are comfy squishy cushioned sofas and more firm chairs for which ever seating you prefer, staff give good recommendations and talk as if you knew them from day one, respectfully, genuinely and humourously, deffo recommend if you want a nice drink, saying that the drinks are delicious, ive tried all sorts from simple coffees to extravagent creamy frappés and they are all delicious, cant say how good the food is but it looks d e l i c i o u s. 10/10 would recommend, best cafe nero ive been to B)

If your looking for somewhere you can sit down, relax and enjoy a hot or cold drink then this would be it. The staff were really helpful and the atmosphere felt really relaxed. It is a great place to go to and have a catch up with some friends or family while also enjoying great products so I would definitely recommend.

Went for a coffee and had great service, lovely staff. This is Maidenhead and it was raining and the UK is pretty depressing these days so the atmosphere was a mixture of melancholy and a sort of 70's vibe that matched the town centre and the cultural decline of the UK over the last 6 years, generally. This was a great coffee and I could shelter from the literal and metaphorical storm.

Staff could do with barista training. Friendly but slow service and not the best coffee. Cafe Nero Westminster coffee is so much nicer.

Cleanest of Maidenheads coffee shops. Service always seems to be painfully slow. But the coffee is good!

They've restricted half the seating area for customers what a lazy employee in there. It was 4pm and shop closes at 6pm

Alright food, grumpy staff 24/7 when ever I come. Quite confusing and rude to me just because I brought 2 hot chocolates instead of one with the three+ codes. Lovely atmosphere though.

One of the busiest Caffè in Maidenhead. Always great for service and coffee/chai latte 👌 and cheesecake.

Just arrived, only a few people in but EVERY free table left dirty while the staff chit-xhatted amongst themselves. I had to go ask them to clear tables so we could sit down. This will be my last visit. Even junk food outlets deliver better service.

Staff weren't exactly the friendliest

Caffe Nero in Maidenhead town centre pedestrian shopping. Actually this was a first time visit to a Caffe Nero. Pleasant comparison with similar outlets would persuade me to switch from another chain. Very creamy ham and cheese toasty, nice almond croissant.

I went in the card machine had issues I told her it wasn’t my cards but she denied having any problems with her card machine I went and got my wallet from my car (a bit of a walk) then she told me her card machines not working. My coffee was made and sat on the side and she said she now wants cash like seriously I said I can’t walk all the way back again! And she just shook her head. Awful customer service! You would think that instead of throwing out the made coffees on the side she could have said sorry to inconvenience you and have the coffees on the house but no she would rather throw them out clearly.

Great for catching mates for a drink

Not buggie friendly at all. Packed in for profit not comfort. Leak in ceiling so area closed off. I would not advise visiting with a pushchair or children..

Been a while coffee still, as always, pleasing

I guess sometimes I'll go anywhere when I need a cup of coffee. It's not often I'll give a negative review, this is one of those times. It was quiet when I got to Caffè Nero, there were perhaps six or ten people in there, but there was someone waiting to be served and the staff were looking in the other direction. There were tables still covered in cups and plates. Eventually, I was served and went to one of the freshly cleared tables, only to find bits of food on the chair. Fair enough, the coffee was strong and good, but another time, I'll go elsewhere or do without.

I won’t be back. The coffee is good but not worth the bad attitude. I have been here twice and experienced the same bad attitude from the same person. Perhaps it’s a culture thing and misunderstood, but I would rather go somewhere where coffee is served with a smile and from helpful people.

Staff are lovely. Coffee tasty. I tried the Iced Americano, very nice and a slice of cappuccino cake, tasty.

Popped in for a drink and to relax. Friendly staff, quick service and there was lots of seats to choose from.

I like the smoky flavour of Nero and do tend to hunt out Nero Cafes when visiting a town. This is a fine Nero with friendly staff. Compared to some other coffee places I saw it looked well maintained and with tables outside.

Good selection of coffee"s and cakes and buns and pleasant staff.

Was 4:30pm in the afternoon so may be a factor. Got a tiramisu which had solid stale cream on the outside that a fork couldn't cut through alone. It was OK in the middle, I probably should have asked if they could take it back and got something else, as I ended up tearing some of the bad bits off by hand. Toilets had no loo roll when I went in and there was pee all over the floor, it kinda stank. Not the best experience I've had in a Nero.. My cappaccino also burnt my tongue but that's a good thing, they do the coffee nice and hot at least.

Always very friendly service and great coffee. Yes, it's a chain but still serves lovely coffee and has a nice atmosphere.

The coffee is quite good but the staffing is inefficient with poor comunication. Given wrong change as well so check your change. I do like their coffee but staffing is often a let down

Pleasingly busy. Very nice young man serving my double espresso, which tasted good but was not hot. Warm at best, hence only 3 stars.

After lockdown this is my first coffee at cafe nero. I really enjoyed it!

This is a very friendly and community based branch of Nero's in Maidenhead. The staff are cheerful and on the job training is currently going on with new trainee baristas, but the overall standard has been maintained whilst this is ongoing. A relaxing and pleasant experience - recommended.

Excellent service from the team especially Zusanna. She is always smiling and very helpful. This place is well run and a pleasure to come and have a great coffee. Always clean and tidy. Well done Zusanna! Regards, Gary
