Nice cafe, good coffee & sweet & savouries. Need more baristas, very slow service . : CURRENTLY CLOSED.

Good americano. Service was pleasant.

Came here for a drink and a bite while shopping. Service wasn't the fastest and it wasn't too busy, but staff were friendly. Gluten free sandwich available which was quite tasty but a little crumbly - great to have the option though.

Had the hot chocolate but didn't look like on the picture not cream on top

Service was very slow and quality not the best. There are other coffee shops nearby that offer a better service and quality.

I love cafe Nero but unfortunately the experience I had yesterday was pretty poor. I ordered a drink on the cafe Nero app for collection and waited outside for it to be put at the collection point. After waiting for quite a while and seeing the staff making everyone else's drinks as they ordered them, I decided to go and ask about it. When I managed to get the attention of a staff member (since they were avoiding even looking at me) I asked about my order to be told 'Oh we don't get those'. If they can't receive click and collect orders at this location, this should be noted somewhere on the app or at the location itself. Also, if you see someone stood waiting at the click and collect window for 10-15 minutes, you should probably figure out what's happened! They did make my order when I asked, but as someone with social anxiety, the whole thing made me very uncomfortable.

If it was slower we would go back in time. Absolutely no push to serve faster. 6 coffee stations one at the time used.

Stood in the queue for about 20 minutes to order 2 coffees. The service was really slow. Some people in the queue just left. only 2 staff on the front who were working really hard and the batista was a trainee felf quite sorry for them something that the managment needs to look at. Dirty pots all over tables which customers were moving around so they could use the tables. Lookally, the coffee was good, and we sat on the seats in the mall. Doing a bit of people watching would have been 1* if it wasn't for the coffee.

Could do with a clean. Service was OK. Food was dry and not that good

Unfortunately there was not enough bums on seats, baristas not moving quickly enough to provide a service to get people in and out, 3 groups left while we was queuing and tables left dirty and with dirty cups on trays

Good strong coffee, even better with the discount from tastecard.

Need to get quicker at service as the queues are far too long when compared to other Nero's

I do like the coffee at Nero. Just seems to be more up my street than other high street brands. Anyroad. Doppio espresso con panna if you're asking. The service was in training and perhaps a little slow but understandable. The experienced staff seemed to be directing or managing rather than doing and showing. Then again, what do I know about service in a coffee shop. The crossant was really good as was the cheesecake. There was enough atmosphere considering the location inside a shopping center.

Small but cozy! Lots of variety, Child friendly! It's not Starbucks, however, for a budget minded customer, it's a classic place to meet and greet. We enjoyed it, very much.

Really good experience. Freddie went out his way to find me a bag of the Brazilian roast coffee what’s recently become my favourite. Even though you’ve stopped doing it. Lucky me getting the last bad. 10/10 coffee, 10/10 customer service! These staff members are the kind to keep customers returning

The staff try really hard but there's always a shortage of staff. Long queue, cluttered tables . By the time I got my coffee my friends tea was cold which was served in paper cups as they had no one on pots!

Chaotic. Food was fine, coffee was okay, but every table was filthy and the staff felt a bit like bulls in a china shop. Could really do with providing more support on the shop floor to maintain cleanliness.

Shame they charge extra for decaff, where others don't. Plenty of parking. Coffee nice but Luke warm.i would advise you ask for it to be extra hot.

Service was so slow, it was almost laughable. Usually very reliable for coffee, this was a poor experience. Staff need training, especially in multi tasking.

Stopped here for coffee while on a shopping trip, great coffee but disappointed when trying to sit down with most of the tables not cleared of cups and plates from previous customers, may be there is not the staff numbers that they need to keep the tables clear, didn't eat as cakes behind the counter looked very dry and old.But as previously said the coffee was very nice

Great Dog friendly cafe, very friendly staff with excellent service, the cakes were very good and the coffee is always excellent. Lots of seating in a very good location in the town centre. We always use Nero when out with our dog.

Visited cafe Nero at York designer outlet today while shopping with my family. Never again, 2 off the staff making it obvious they were talking about a customer, laughing and sniggering between themselves and turning to this particular customer and laughing. So rude. They need to learn some customer service

For the best luke warm, half cup, and attractive Christmas Drink, Cafe Nero is the best. I'd normally take back, but 15 people in the queue, I wasn't waiting again. Waste of £4.25.

Only called in for a tea. The guy on the counter was the only person serving so fairly busy, (read stressed out), but nevertheless helpful.

Disappointed as due to staff shortage everything served in takeaway containers.

Rubbish and massively overpriced.

Very slow no dishwasher working so everything in takeout cup's so you would have thought they should be quicker.

It was a nice place, seating was restricted due to being very busy, all cups were takeaway due to the dishwasher was broken. Price of items were rather expensive though.

Excellent at every store we have visited York Designer Outlet store is excellent too.

It's the same as most. Tables need clearing and only our toilet, creating a queue through the customers trying to enjoy their drink.
