Caffè Nero in Bromley

Ordered a large coffee and the cup was half full. Didn't return to query due to large queue. This chain was my favourite but very dissatisfied with half a cup worth of liquid. Even if you add more hot water to make up for the size of the cup, I wouldn't have known but would be happy. Not retuning to this chain again.

She got our drinks mixed up not very good

Handy and busy coffee shop at the south end of the Glades. Nothing wrong with it, it is just another Caffe Nero, so you know what you will get.

After buying this apricot croissant in the morning of today - I am very upset that this was very raw and disgusting. If I could post the video of it I would have! This could have given me food poisoning or something. I don’t think I will be back since I value my life.

I had a meeting closeby so came here, regrettably. The staff had a very cold attitude and was robotic. The cafe is very dated, no sockets so charging anything is pointless. Top floor is very hot even though it's not warm outside. Go to a better place to enjoy.

Really starting to tire of the service here. It’s so hit and miss. The staff aren’t very friendly and never smile. They also don’t bother listening to the order properly, and are quite sloppy sometimes. It’s always a gamble as to whether they will get it right. Tbh the service at the other Caffè Nero (opposite Bromley South Station) is miles better. Seating area is quite nice as they have two floors, but that’s about it. Always seems to be super warm in here, also. Not the best during summer.

I’ve been to this store on many separate occasions and One of their employees always never comes and serves me and stands their looking off into space and when I am trying to order they ignore my presence

Good place for a quick snack and coffee worth a visit. Give it a try. Yes, it has changed.It's a revamp looks much better

Being busy was no need for the staff to take their frustration on me as a very regular customer. The lady behind the bar was very rude and had to tell the order 3 times. Looks like she did need a break The place was very dirty and empty cups all over the place

First time I been in this one. An excellent cup of coffee . Apricot cossiant really nice and fresh. Staff very professional and polite

I was a regular customer a few times in a week but from half a year they gave me a burnt coffee, always waiting, dirty, cold and smells cigarette inside (just close those doors permanently), today the staff was rude, staff always training, I think this place can win as the worst Nero in Uk

I have had coffee from here several times now and every time it has been awful. the milk on my cappuccino was burnt on top with little black bits and the foam is non existent. It looks like they just shook the milk carton to make some bubbles. It is watery. Furthermore neros coffee is weak and lacking in flavour.

Much improved after recent refit. Feels much lighter, fresher and - importantly - cleaner. The seating won't be to everyone's liking as they've gone for a mix-match approach including some old wooden school chairs. There's also a door leading directly out onto the High Street now. No classical music playing when visited. Hope that's not a casualty of the new look.

Service is always slow in here. It’s seems they don't acknowledge people are waiting to be served.

Came this morning with my dog Zeus and he got so scared to progress further due to the tiles. I had to leave the queue and the lovely day behind the counter came to assist me. She saw that I was in line and had to leave due to my dog. She came and took my order as well as payment and was so helpful. Thankyou for being so understanding and friendly. Rose

Went in to get a window seat. By the time I was served there were no seats available. I went up stairs and was cooked by the heating.

A really nice Caffè Nero branch in Bromley high street ! Good prices and unique food items in comparison to BREAD AHEAD and GAIL’s.

I think the staff were having a rough day, with some obnoxious visitors. My wife and I had excellent service, and the staff gave of their best. A pleasant break and a nice coffee.

Far too slow a service. Two trainees but even so, no smiling faces when serving.

Didn't experience anything other than a completely empty fridge when I visited today for a sandwich with my husband and mum. It wasn't even late in the day, around 1pm. If your going to open Cafe Nero you need to provide a service !!

The cake and coffee were lovely and the barista was very polite! It was a shame we had to wait ages for it. The door kept on opening due to the wind so was quite blowy whilst trying to enjoy the food.

It's always great to use Cafe Nero Bluewater. The staff are friendly and they do make good millionaires hot chocolate.

The outside door doesn't shut by itself. It's been like it for months, but now the weather has turned colder, it's causing a blast of freezing air in The other door to the Galdes is permanently closed now which adds to the problem

Slowest staff I've seen, no teamwork all just doing their own thing but slowly. If two people made coffee and one took orders it would be quicker right?

My flat white was beautifully made, nice and strong, not too milky. The Costa in Catford should take note, this is how a flat white should be made. Lovely courteous service with a smile.

It took forever to be served! The service is very slow. Drink was decent.

This place is always dirty/untidy trays of used cups and rubbish left on all of the tables. No staff to clean up. Only go if you're willing to take away and wait 10mins for a latte and would like a hard slice of cake Would not recommend

The Cortardo is good, slow service and the place could be smartened up.

Wouldn't give a normal cup or spoon - just take away ones (although they had those in store) - even if paying the usual pver three pounds for it. Staff was rude. Tables were dirty. Cappuccino had milk which was way to hot - which is unusual at café Nero. Wouldn't go back to this branch.

At the glades it took 25 mins to be served, (1000-1025 queued) only 2 staff, a trainee and a “barista” the flat white that I ordered tasted like it came out of an old Maxpax machine. No china cups again…. Bromley South is far superior.

great selection of coffee, quick service, great prices and very friendly environment.

Filthy floor and tables, overflowing bin, unhelpful staff, had to have takeaway cups and cutlery, only 1 tiny and grubby toilet for a busy area. Will never return.

To busy, not enough staff, waited 15 minutes to get served.

I waited for 10 minutes to order for the disabled boy and elderly lady I was with. The server was in front of me the whole time and refused to acknowledge us. When he finally did he appeared unfriendly and miserable. He rudely said he didn't acknowledge me as he was too busy even though there were hardly any customers. I cancelled my order and left.

Service provided today was horrible I have asked for an iced pistachio and caramel drink, I specified that needs to be decaf and with soya milk , I have got a regular hot latte instead. When I said I wanted to have the iced drink , the girl at the counter was annoyed and unhappy with my request She gave me the iced drink, but this was not as requested , decaf with soy milk . I can not have any drinks with caffeine due to health issues and I still got that I need to mention that it was not busy at the time I went into this shop I would never recommend this place

Nero's is my favourite coffee shop

Had a mocha and a almond croissant. I had asked for the mocha to be extra hot, it was barely warm!! The croissant was dry and stale. Left the shop with stomach cramps and only just made it to the public toilets before being very unwell. Not a pleasant experience and will not be returning.

Busy coffee bar on the corner of The Glades. Numerous coffee choices and reasonable hot and cold snack options. Can be busy but there are small upstairs and outdoor spaces.

Myself and my friends came here after work, we were talking amongst ourselves saying should we sit upstairs downstairs ect… then a very rude male worker butted in our conversation and said there chairs are in front of the stairs because that section is obviously closed… unfortunately we had already paid for our drinks so did not have the option to leave. Extremely rude and damped our experience, seeing as we wasn’t even talking to him in the first place AND there were customers sitting upstairs…

Coffee was one of the worst I've had in a long time from Nero

Good sandwich and good cakes, Therefore absolutely sorry for the staff that have to share a cubicle space to try attending and serving the clients. People queuing up because the staff services are bad. Bad because they don't have decent conditions to make more. Old furniture's and bad taste decor, we can see the owners don't care about the place at all. Probably only collecting the money at end if each day. If I would go back? For sure NOT.

Entering the cafe, it felt clean, relaxed and a good atmosphere. The staff member was working solo, and coping in a busy period shift, but did not have to wait long. Everything was fine, but the coffee was terrible. Disappointed

Staff didn't engage, food bland, service slow and cafe in need of a good clean.

Coffee was lovely but usually have to queue for a while. Two baristas, they were doing their best but tables needed clearing and cleaning. Place needs a bit of an update. The tables and chairs look dowdy.

Always friendly staff and a relaxing place to sit and just relax for abit.

I personally prefer Caffe Nero's because I like there drinks and their app where every time you get 9 drinks, the next one is free. Great service and friendly staff. What's more is there to say.

Overall we enjoyed a pleasant lunch here, our food was very tasty and used high quality ingredients. The service was unfortunately slow and I felt my toasty was a little underdone, the bread was a little soggy as it hadn’t had quite enough time to crisp. However, the setting was pleasant and I’m sure we’ll enjoy another lunch here in good time.

They sell coffee! Reallllllllllly slowly and really expensively! Full of mums with kids when I went! Like who brings kids to a coffee place!?🤷‍♂️ Pretentious people! That's who! 💯 But I digress, the coffee was decent, but I only went in to get out the rain! Should've just bought an umbrella tbh n tbf 🙈

My favourite watching point in Bromley.

A nice place to go. One of my favourite coffee spots on the High street. Usually polite and helpful staff. Drinks are good but pricey, but what coffee shop isn't these days? Haven't had food here so unable to comment.

We normally love Caffè Nero but the Bromley one we will never set foot in again, !!!!!! You have been warned ⚠️

They. have had a complete revamp of this shop and it has really improved. The staff are very friendly and have been trained very well.

I visited on Bromley branch on 25 th at 5 pm. Asked for a vanilla milkshake, the server a man of colour made a chocolate one. I asked for a margarita pastry he asked whether I wanted a sausage. When the drink was ready I told him it was incorrect flavour. He argued with me but then made vanilla drink.Intimidating large man. I would not recommend this branch. Also took 20 minutes to order, too long.

Fantastic staff recommended I tried the Brazilian bean that they had on special with my Latte OMG FANTASTIC TASTE 5 STAR

Good coffee, cozy place. They have seatings upstairs too but gets busier at times.

All's I want is a Cappuccino! Love Caffe Nero's espresso drinks. Barrista Charlie made a perfect (dry = not too much milk) cappuccino. Bravo - 11 out of 10, baby!

Love Nero's coffee and food but like most coffee shops, the table and chairs are not cleaned often enough and when they are it smells like the same damp rag and bucket of water has done the entire place in one sweep. Get a take-out and stay safe!
