Unfortunately due to a ‘regional manager’ decision they no longer serve pupperchino - apparently due to hygiene? If dogs are allowed in the cafe then why can’t they enjoy their visits the same as humans? What is unhygienic about eating out of a disposable cup, especially as outdoors? If I’d offered to pay for it I wonder if the answer would still be the same?

We are regular customers, even our dogs love to go in and just chill out. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and incredibly helpful, especially the manager. The only problem is finding a seat at busy times, usually market days.

We went for a coffee which I can only say was pretty awful On a couple of tables away there was a woman vaping all the time we were there. Nothing was said to her so we approached the manager on the way out and asked him if it was ok to vape inside the store and he said no one was when he had quite clearly seen her doing it and said nothing to her

dirty tables, uncleared crockery and staff standing around despite just a few customers inside. Doesn't seem to be priority to clean and clear ready for the next customer.

Nice cup of coffee. Staff friendly. Place needs a bit of a update. Large area upstairs. Better if they had more sofas etc.

I like the coffee, staff are ok, usually clean, but why don't these places have a try trolley so you can tidy your table when you leave, honestly I do not mind tidying up after myself. Air con keeps it cool for me, I am always hot, I like to sit by the window and watch the world go by, they sell the usual stuff

I popped in on a Tuesday remembering my 02 free drink. I've never been in store before and I'm impressed. Panatonne much better than Costa and I wolfed it down. I was also asked my preferred flavour of jam instead of getting whatever jam came to hand. Friendly ladies serving and keeping a light hearted respectful batter going for customers. I needed help while here and it was given as a second nature. I am certainly coming back, even if it isn't a Tuesday.

You always know that the coffee will be good in a Cafe Nero, so the only things to review tend to be the service and decor. Service here was good and very friendly, and my only comment re the decor is that the downstairs section of the cafe must be the plainest and most spartan Cafe Nero I’ve ever been in. I can’t comment on the upstairs section and assume that it is more stylish and comfortable.

We visited Caffe Nero whilst we had a break between the school run. I don't normally sit in but decided to do so today. It was relatively quiet for the time hence we decided to sit in. Service was prompt, food and drinks served fairly quickly and they even brought our soup upstairs for us. A few minors to note are: firstly the waitress not clearing away pots from the previous person sat there (we had two small tables). We had to ask her do so. Which she did after apologising for missing it. Secondly the sofa we sat on did not seem to have been cleaned in a while. We noticed after one of the seat cushions slid off that they were badly in need of vacuuming. Lastly the price we paid for two sandwiches, two drinks and a bowl of soup was approximately £20. Not bad, but for that there are lots of alternatives within walking distance. That said, there was plenty of seating, the environment was cosy and we didn't have to wait too long to get our order. A nice place to visit and good if you have a short lunch break.
