Caffe Nero in Cheshire West and Chester

Called in about 4.30 for a latte,americano & a cake each for a sml bite before dinner. Was good & great service from the trainee batista even tho she forgot the millionaire shortbread!!

Always a nice chilled place to get a nice coffee and decent cakes too.

We ordered only drinks, but they were of good quality. The tea was warm and tasty. The sweets were also delicious. The prices were not high. The staff is friendly.

Great location near to where I parked. Happy and helpful staff. I'll be back when I'm in the area again. Keep up the great work.

We always try to support Cafe Nero wherever we go because it is dog friendly. Whilst the food was (as usual) good at this branch, sadly the toilets (which we used just before we left) were awful. There was a solid wad of thick dust & fluff below the door, ground in dirt on the floor, black mould round the silicon of the basin & the toilet and surrounding areas were filthy. Not what would be expected or required in a business serving food & beverages - very disappointing.

Lovely coffee shop. Only EBI would be more seating.

One of the most sad Cafe Nero we have been. They start setting everything 1 hour before closure so forget to get a proper cup to drink your hot drink. Staff could barely smile The toilet was disgusting, not only for the basement dark location but cleaning forgotten probably over the last 10 years. Really ashamed to say we were in Chester pedestrian area

Nobody was in the queue yet they took 6 mins to serve, ordered a takeaway flatwhite, one of the worst I've ever had.

Very small but cosy location. Love the location as it is has a good view of the streets. The coffee was good and as per standards. The service was not the best as the staff did not look enthusiastic to serve customers.

Hot chocolate was cold Latte was sort of fine Service very bad. There was no one in the line, yet we had to wait to be served for 7 minutes. I don’t recommend this place. Not friendly at all.

So we’re in Caffè Nero and nothing really went on it was we just sat down and I think I had a bottle of sprite in some sort of biscuit or muffin. I’ve really forgotten now it’s been awhile but otherwise it was absolutely fine. It was a Caffè Nero. It was fine, it was really dark inside so you can’t really see much but otherwise it had a lot of windows in places and some nice cosy snug places round the back and it was very formatted in a way like a traditional big chain coffee shop But everything was fine service for Sue is fine, and if you see my review anywhere else, it’s usually like this nothing really exciting to report it to Caffè Nero

Review 1 : A lovely little cozy Caffè Nero with a lovely atmosphere and enjoyed my visit and my coffee. Would visit again. Review 2 : My first visit here was lovely but on a recent visit I found it worth mentioning that the shop is extremely warm. The doors being opened would have helped as I heard other customers commenting on the heat also. It made my visit this time rather uncomfortable even though we were very close to the entrance it was stuffy and as I said even one entrance door being opened could have helped. Service was great though and the employees were busy and hardworking throughout my visit.

Dirty. They said dish washer had broke so takeaway cups only. One of the staff not very friendly or helpful. Good thing the coffee is good. Sometimes I don't know why I keep spending my monet there.

Just a brief stop for a cuppa on the way to the races. Plenty of choice of cafés in Chester but this is one of my favourites. Good coffee and a variety of toasties and cakes.

Cafe was okay but the toilet facilities were absolutely appalling. If they had been cleaned in the last six months l would be surprised. Only hope the hygiene in the shop is somewhat better. Don't think l would visit this chain ever again. This was the Chester branch.

It is mad to see people opening some place without managing them. They have some "BArista" 😂🤣😂l like all these fashion word we used now to make thing cool when there are not. And then you have something slightly similar as a drink with coffee or something else. Never try an expresso. Even with an supa quality coffee machine they can't do it 🤔but be ensure you will pay the price for it but no worry you can have a stamp. Oops l forgot they don't trained their staff for cleaning around and l don't mention the toilets.

Nice little shop, two young girls were managing on their own! Got quite busy at one stage so felt for them as customers can be so rude and impatient but its not an easy job when you have coffee to make and tables to clear so people can sit down . They did good.

Sausage butty with 3 halves of sausage. Where's my other half? Only just warm. I asked for a wet latte and got a foamy topping. It wasn't particularly nice either. There were 7 of us and each person wasn't happy over something. You really have to do better than this as Chester has more and more coffee shops.

Coffee is nice. Location is great. Huge dissapointed on the cleanliness of the toilet. I have to used a lot of toilet 🧻 to cleaned the seat...🤮 before sitting on it! The floor is dirty 🤢 Need to stopped outsider using it. Hope the management will improve the cleanliness on the toilet!

Would have gone somewhere else or simply just not wasted my time. However, lack of acknowledgment that me or some other people are there, is astonishing. Need to retrain staff for higher customer satisfaction.

Had a flat white takeaway today. Wife’s latte was hot my flat white cold. £3 down the drain. Too far away to take it back. Disappointed because Cafe Neto serve really good coffee 😢

Always enjoy a visit here. Great little room right at the back with sofa chair and table there can sit there for days!! Wifi can be a bit hit an miss but coffee is great and the chicken soup fantastic!! Definitely worth a visit if your in Chester!! Update. Popped in total and had a Lattice Chicken/Pesto that I can highly recommend and the sercive was super

Amazing and relaxing place, only bad point is that the toilet is underground and looks like only a hobbit can use it. I would recommend the hot chocolate

Terrible service, and shocking behaviour, Up sold me their special blend on my latte I did not ask for. Plus Tiramisu was frozen in the middle no apology, or offer to refund price of cake.

City centre Caffè Nero so nothing out of the ordinary. Usual selection of hot/cold beveridges, sandwiches and cakes. Treated ok by staff but I was clearly just another customer.

Unbelievably slow service despite being quiet. Acknowledge your customers when they come in and if there are two members of staff, work together to keep the queue moving.

Out of the big coffee chains, I think Café Nero doe's the best flat white. This café is quite small and feels more personal because of it, mix in friendly attentive staff and it feels like your local coffee shop. Highly recommended

Coffee is nice don't get me wrong, but NOT ACCESSIBLE AT ALL, steps to get to the till, very steep spiral steps to get to a very small bathroom where the max height you can be is about 5 foot 4 before you hit your head on the ceiling in the toilet

Terrible access to shop and especially toilets Does not feel clean Tatty furniture One toilet with a very low ceiling and poorly placed lighting so essential at 5.10 I had to stoop to pee and this meant my head blocked the poorly positioned ceiling light leaving me taking pot luck to hit the bowl Wish I’d read the reviews on wee before ordering my drink

I have used this Nero most days for a few years to get coffee on my way to work in the morning. I've been working away for the last 8 months or so and was disappointed to find very inconsistent amounts of coffee in my take out cup! Large cappuccino was only half full with fresh air/froth to the top, large latte generally 2/3rds full. Not great when you are paying over £3 each. Starbucks have bigger cups and they fill them! Get a grip Nero.....
