Caffe Nero in City of London, Westminster

We asked for vegan croissants which we buy at other neros but this shop doesn't even sell them. We asked what vegan food do they sell and he brusquely pointed at a pre-packaged biscuit. He was incredibly rude and naturally we will never go there again. He obviously detests vegans.

This place is nothing to rave about, being met with a cold and grumpy attitude. This made the place seem much less pleasant. Staff could do with training on how to smile.

I ordered a small latte for take away and was given a flat white sized latte instead. When mentioning this to staff they insisted it was the correct size, as I had asked for a small latte and apparently they serve lattes as small, medium and large. According to their menu (which is standart across all Café Nero's) they serve lattes in two sizes, regular and large, I wanted the smaller of the two, therefore the regular one, which is the one I was charged for, but received a tiny flat white sized latte instead. Staff didn't believe me when I exained that in all other Café Nero locations (I don't usually go to this one) a small latte is served in the medium sized take away cup and that the small cup is only for flat whites. They proceeded to argue and in the end I gave up, somewhat disgruntled and overcharged. For the future I'd recommend hiring staff who know what they are doing and have an at least an idea about good customer service.

The positives, nice location. Very busy as you can imagine given location. Spacious and nice to relax. Fast wifi. Light music. Staff are friendly and pleasant and did their best to manage the long lines. Caffè Nero have changed their product range a lot recently. There are a number of savoury options as well as cakes, pastries, snacks and more. The black americano decaf one shot was perfect with an almond biscotti. I needed to do some work (the same as many other people) and was lucky to get a place. My reason for the lower rating was that I was shocked to see how filthy it was. Yes, they were busy but it was disgusting. I have just come back from Dubai, Montenegro and Greece where places were spotless. Cleanliness should not just be there for a pandemic. Staff need to clean. If there are not enough around, then management need to hire. I had to move three times to partially find a place that was not covered in crumbs!

The staff weren't at all welcoming which was disappointing. The coffee was average, the tables were dirty and the toilet was blocked. Not the best atmosphere.

We all know you get a decent cup of coffee and light bite but to open when toilets are out of service and to be told to use another Caffe Nero across the road is unacceptable They should have told us or put up a notice before we paid, and drunk, crossed legged!!

The place was bursting at the seams and once we managed to shoehorn ourselves in past a begrudging man who had taken over an entire area we enjoyed coffee and cakes. The team were professional when under pressure and dealt with orders in turn and as speedily as the equipment would permit. Another staff member would maybe have helped in turning tables around faster.

Hay varios repartidos por todo Londres como otras cadenas, pero la calidad y el servicio es bastante bueno. También el precio me pareció bueno. Estuvimos en este local de camino a Picadilly y nos sorprendió el servicio por su calidad, sobretodo de una chica de Barcelona.

It's been over 3 years since I last reviewed this particular Cafe Nero. I find it attractive because its quite large, spacious, with plenty of tables, not too crowded. Queues (it was 1pm on a sunny weekday) weren't at all bad. Cappucchino, plus 2 soft drinks, and 2 toasted sandwiches, all of which were nice. Trouble is they only have the one unisex disabled toilet, and at any time there always seemed to be 1-2 people waiting - but not much they can do about that. I marked them down to 3* because given the previous reviews over the last 12 months have all mentioned the state of the toilet, they don't seem to have done anything about it. Presumably the staff use it as well, so could be a health risk when dealing with food. I noticed the toilet bowl could do with some bleach pouring down it - too much ingrained dirt there - and wouldn't take 5 minutes after closing time to bring it up spotless. The grouting around the sink was quite dirty, and could do with re-doing.

Stopped on here for a quick coffee. There is only one toilet and it was truly disgusting. After queueing for over 10 mins i discovered there was no loo roll so asked for some. A member of staff threw a blue roll of the type they use to clean the bar on top of the grubby baby change. The toilet itself was dirty and stank with the floor wet and covered in napkins and there was no soap availaible which made me concerned about the hygiene of the staff who were preparing the food and drink. A really unpleasant visit.

Nothing wrong with the coffee or venue but there is one toilet and even when they aren't that busy you can queue for over 10 mins to use it. Ridiculous. I can't believe what must be one of their flagship locations hasn't addressed this problem. Very poor.

El café Nero es excelente en calidad y servicio, se encuentra en varios lugares de Londres, nosotros teníamos uno muy cerca del hotel. Muy recomendable.

Estive hj, 7/6, no caffe nero de Picadilly. Pedi um cafe mocha e um mufin de blueberry. O mufin foi um dos melhores que ja comi: leve, com uma casquinha crocante de açúcar e pedaços de chocolate branco no meio. Atendimento bom e cortês. Há vários locais produtos de fabricação própria que fiquei com vontade de experimentar (cookie triple chocolate, brownie...). Vale a pena!

This international chain that look like Italian chain.. just guessing by the name have a very nice products to try they are strong in there sandwiches.. I like the variety that they offer.

Had a Milano hot chocolate: one of my favourites and sat to read a book for 3 hours. Service was quick and friendly and the music was relaxing and just what I needed. Plenty of seats and selection of food. Thanks

Pésimo servicio, la comida basura, y un baño con una cola de 20 minutos. Sillas necesita de una buena limpia ya que el personal necesita asqueroso, alentados y francamente, hay un montón de lugares más baratos y mejor a un tiro de piedra.

Certamente um dos melhores chocolates que tomamos. Ambiente bacana, bom atendimento e preços muito convidativos. Como era inverno, paramos muitas vezes no Caffè Nero.

I am a regular visitor to Caffè Nero and frequently visit this part of London. This is a small cafe very close to Green Park Station and the heart of Mayfair and Piccadilly. On several recent occasions when I have visited the staff have refused me a china cup and I have been told that only paper cups are available. The reason given on the first occasion was that there had just been a fight in the cafe and the manager had to sort it out. On the second I was told they were too busy to wash them up. This was despite the fact that 3 staff were behind the counter and only one was serving! On both occasions dirty crockery was strewn around the cafe and was awaiting collection! As I said possibly the worst Nero's in the UK. Thankfully there are many other branches where one get a great cup of coffee in this part of London!

ぼんやりしたりネットしたりして1時間程いましたが、リラックスして楽しめました。何がある訳ではありませんが、居心地が良かったです。

由於很晚才吃早餐，午餐時間吃不下太多，便到Nero吃小小東西。很少咖啡廳有Chai Latte供應的，難得這裡有，便試一試，算不上好但可以接受吧。另外點了一份雞肉三文治，沒想到咖啡廳的食物比飲品出色。

We had breakfast here. There mocha was really good. Food not bad either but slow service once initial order arrives.

We were quickly served, very pleasant staff and went to sit outside. Unfortunately the plates there were not cleared away quickly enough and lots of birds kept flying in which was a bit disconcerting at times.

Si buscas un café rápido este puede ser un buen sitio. Cafetería en serie con variedad de cafés y sanwichs. La decoración suele variar entre los restaurante para evitar la sensación de bar en serie aunque no lo consiguen.

The sandwich bread was dry and nothing to write home about. Average to below average customer service. I'd recommend Starbucks or Pret a Manager instead.

Not my choice of coffee chain, but attending an event and Café Nero is the nearest. Had a small cappuccino and Americano which was satisfactory. Not much seating area and very crowded in the evening.NO toilets for customers .

Quick professional service set in a nice spot with a great location. Selection of food was a bit limited but good for a coffee shop.

Nero always serves consistent coffee - cakes are expensive for the quality but you always get good cake. Very handy for Piccadilly and the staff were friendly.

Fuimos una tarde buscando escapar del frío a tomarnos un capuccino con croissants al Caffe Nero de Piccadilly Circus. El lugar y los precios son razonables. Luego descubrimos que son una cadena y están por todo Londres. No pudimos conectarnos con WIFi que era lo que más nos importaba aparte de escapar del frío y por eso no volvimos!!

This is one of the cafes chains that offer little innovation, and acceptable level of service and average quality of beverages and food.Nothing to say about this one except that the location is good.

I do like Café Nero. It is my favourite café. Coffee is good, cakes and sandwiches are ok. I like the atmosphere and look of that chain. The only minus is toilet!!!!

Довольно хорошо известная сеть кафе, в центре Лондона, на Piccadilli - довольно большое кафе, можно взять кофе на вынос, можно позавтракать или выпить кофе и в самом кафе. В октябре-ноябре вполне милое место, а вот летом бывает не протолкнуться от огромной толпы туристов. В такое время кофе на вынос - самая хорошая идея, так как бывает, что некуда сесть. В целом все неплохо, в центре Лондона не так много мест с хорошим кофе. Кофе не на пять, но твердую четверку вполне потянет. Хотя мне больше нравится Старбакс неподалеку от метро Green Park - там кофе лучше.

Nice spacious cafe with plenty of seating, a nice layout with plenty of tables but not too crowded so quite light and airy. Does have a single unisex disabled toilet.

Lanchinho, mal preparado, mal humorado, mal servido, mal ... Que nada. tudo fica no por acaso estou, por acaso o serviço em muito me agrada. Aqui, nessa unidade p que importa, fundamentalmente é a presteza. Os atendentes hiper cordiais sabem que todos estão de passagem e com horário. Por isso se esmeram. não é uma unidade para o se deixar ficar. Mas o se aproveitar e ir.

Ambiente simples, limpo e sóbrio. O Café Nero é uma Rede de notoriedade e conta com um cardápio diversificado que atende, em geral, às exigências de gostos variados e de um grupo etário bem amplo.

I liked that we discovered this cafe so close to our hotel which charged about triple the prices of Caffe Nero. Caffe Nero provided good service with a smile and a great variety of delicious treats, and great coffee.

Every morning I looked forward to our visit to Cafe Nero. The breakfast selection is great & the staff are the best! Courteous & fast. It was a great way to star the day before sightseeing.

O Caffe Nero é exatamente do mesmo estilo que o Starbucks. Se você gosta de café e da proposta da rede do Starbucks, aprecia o café e os lanches e não se importa com um ambiente muito bonito e banheiros limpos, venha. Vale bastante a pena, mesmo com essas características desagradáveis.

Normally a good place to grab a coffee, but the service was a little off todayas I think they were training new staff and they were not actually completely finishing with one customer before moving on to the next.

With Cafe Nero, as with other chain coffee shops, you know what you're getting. I'm not a coffee lover so I can only talk about the tea and chocolate, but it's all pretty good quality. The price is higher than it should be as always but they have a handy loyalty card which helps you to have a free drink after you've paid for 9. The food tends to be a bit dry, I think, so I rarely have it. However the fruit juices are generally good.

Such a busy place and one loo. Totally disgusting, surely there is some sort of law about providing toilets and hand washing facilities. I find a twenty minute wait for the loo totally unacceptable. Go across the road to costa coffee, the coffee is better and proper facilities!

You can find Caffe Nero everywhere in London but is a good choice for a quick coffee and grabbing some food.
