Caffè Nero is perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends. The coffee is excellent, especially with their seasonal options, and the takeaways are always good. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a top choice!

Sour faced servers. Chai latte the worst on the high street.

Great place for a coffee. Had the hog and cheese toastie. Wasn't a fan of the cheese. Otherwise great for breakfast lunch

A bit noisy because it was pretty full.

Nice food, although a bit of salad would have been appreciated, but my toastie was good, and excellent green tea. Very good and cheerful / helpful staff. The coffee shop is just by the musical clock, which is a delight for children and visitors alike. The toilets were spotless, whilst the decor and furniture were clean and comfortable.

But small, only 1 toilet but ok

I was only in for a quick coffee, but the staff were great and so was the coffee! Cafè Nero's seem to be hard to come across these days and it's a shame as their coffee is actually pretty good! Coffee was priced very reasonably too! Will definitely be back!

Absolutely filthy place , the floors the walls the furniture, every single wall ,table, chair or stool in the place has something smeared on it. Like drinking great quality coffee in a crack den. Sort it out Nero you've got the coffee bang on ,now sort out the filth and make it a nice place to be

Somewhere warm to sit in with the two dogs and have a nice hot mug of coffee. The buscuit latte was amazing and had a cheeky cheese and tomato toasty 😋 Had a big metal doggy bowl of water for the dogs too.

Starting to look very tired. With all the smokers outside and the front door propped open, they may as well smoke inside. Wasn't an enjoyable cafe.

Find the staff not welcoming and always feel out of place

Had a sausage roll and a latte. The server was very kind and carried my coffee to the table as I was using a walking stick and would struggle to carry it with my bag as well. Lovely coffee and warm sausage roll on a freezing cold day.

Sat outside with nice view and good, hot coffee. Babycino was free (nice touch) and colouring in available free of charge for children which again was a nice touch. Toilet immaculate.

Cheerful, friendly staff with the standard beverage chocies and flavors. The area is a bit undesirable, but it is good to have a Caffe Nero option in this small town.

Yea I prefer Neros, bit cheaper than Costa, bit friendlier and I prefer the Mocha my usual.

I go here every time I am in town, I love chai lattes and everywhere else does the awful syrup but this place does the real chai latte powder and it’s the best!!!!! Highly recommend salted caramel and pistachio frappe and the green booster too! The staff are always super friendly, it’s always clean, and most of the time they remember what drink I want before I even have to ask! This is why I will always choose Nero over costa and any of the other big branches. Their coffee is way nicer too and they’re just always welcoming and friendly.

Coffee was good - as usual. Service was speedy & staff were friendly. Ambience was nice in this branch. (I had originally planned to have my coffee in the branch near the docks area but it was very busy & it didn't look very nice inside so I walked & found the other branch instead).

Always have lovely coffee at cafe. The toasted tea cakes are the best, always full of fruit and always hot. Being pet friendly is a definate bonus.

Nice coffee; friendly staff even though the cafe was extremely busy. The main reson I will be visiting again is you are allowed to drink your coffee at your leisure and enjoy the free wifi without needing a mobile to sign in and receive codes.

Love this cafe, the staff are great, very friendly and welcoming. I had a latte and an almond croissant - the latte was lovely and the croissant still warm from just being baked - yum!

Typical cafe Nero. Good quality coffee with a selection of cakes. Variety of seating. Staff very polite. Door slams every time anyone leaves it could do with some device to stop this.

Just popped in with my family for coffee ,The cafe was very clean and comfortable armchairs ,coffee was great.Very enjoyable.

£15 pound for a few drinks and some deserts. Which I'd have been happy with if the drinks had some flavour or the deserts weren't tasteless garbage. Overall no good for drinks and well below average for food. Avoid at all costs.

The normal expectations of cleanliness from a major coffee chain, sadly fell seriously short today. When you are given such badly soiled, grimey, filthy, disgustingly dirty spoons to stir your coffee with it makes you wonder also just how poor is the cleaning regime for the coffee cups that your latte is being served in. We really couldn't bring ourselves to dip these dreadful things into our coffee for fear that we might be poisoned. Photo attached for others to judge.

I particulary dislike the service, we were standing in long queue and staff on counter was talking to some one whom they knew for almost 10 mins. Staff should realise when there are long line waiting to be served only things related to order should be discussed, for exchanging greetings there is ample time after office hours!!!!!

Good range of food and coffee albeit quite cramped and dark inside and lacks natural light and air which made it disappointing which maybe explains why so many sit outside I guess? Not really pushchair friendly though!

Después cambió a café Starbucks siendo cerradas Nero los últimos meses o así. Y ahora es mi nueva línea regular. El personal que sea tan bueno como es. Muy concurrida cafetería como se esperaba en el centro de la ciudad, pero sin duda el correcto de los miembros del personal. Siempre educado, siempre presentable y lo más importante, gran café con una sonrisa. No. 1 tienda de café y personal en Gloucester. Bien hecho, Nero

Dropped in each morning of a weeks holiday for an early morning coffee and was welcomed by friendly staff who remembered previous order. Also bought croissants which were still warm and fresh. Free wi fi working well.

Ok place, very dark inside, same old... nothing different from any other Caffe Nero. Staff friendly, premise clean.

So I was in Cafe Nero today, I had a latte and a piece of the red velvet cake (delicious). The visit was very good, however the women behind the counter was very forceful and well I felt a bit uncomfortable as a customer. I could understand if it was busy, but there was 1 other person in the queue. There was no customer care whatsoever. Overall, coffee and cake were fantastic, feeling like a welcome customer, not so much.

Happy well managed coffee shop, close to the Cross (and Cathedral) in Gloucester city centre. Very laid back, relaxing Sunday morning in an attractive coffee shop with cheerful, and helpful staff. Good range of teas and addictive hot chocolate with lots of cream to beat the cold windy weather.

We drove across Gloucester specifically for a hot chocolate Milano (my favourite), nice little tucked out of the way cafe, service was slow (one girl was working hard but the other was having a chat, doing nothing) received all we asked for. My daughter (normal) hot chocolate was quite bland but she didn't mind too much, hubby enjoyed his espresso but my Milano was very disappointing. It had a funny smell which was off putting and besides a couple of sips I didn't drink it. Have they changed the recipe?! I hope not and that it was a one off but was left disappointed :(

Great for a quick fix however £3 for a tiny expresso mmm not sure i would go back! Quite dark in the shop too, so not very inviting!

Top service from staff. Good selection of snacks/cakes. Nero coffee always has that bit of extra flavour compared to other well known suppliers.Free wifi, comfortable seating and not usually as crowded and untidy as the others.

Visited both cafes on my visit the staff in the one in the town centre were lovely and very chatty but both places clean and helpful.

Went here multiple times, sat inside and out. During many busy time I enjoy sitting outside drinking a coffee and people watching or just looking at the docks. Prices are not bad either!

Simply the best coffee in Gloucester - made as you want it.A great group of staff and Jade, the manager, runs a tight ship.Love it !
