Caffe Nero in Rushcliffe

Superb service from Denis & Chloe . Caffè Nero always best for coffee. Unbeatable then any others coffee shop. Because I used to work as well a coffee shop.

Very disappointed with how my frappe latte was made, usually it’s quite Foamy but now it looks nothing. Too much icy coffee

Unpleasant experience with sullen & rude staff member. Made us feel like it was all just too much effort, talked over me when I was ordering & got the order wrong despite being told it twice- it was 1 drink & a cake, nothing complicated just a really straight forward order. Definitely no apologies. It’s everything I would be livid about in staff in our own business. It’s a pretty grubby cafe & not the first time I’ve had this kind of sullen & mannerless service, so voting with my feet. Won't be going back in there again as there are much nicer cafes with pleasant & cheerful staff. It’s a lot of money to pay for a hot drink that leaves you feeling put out.

Went in for coffee and cake with my son, it was later in the day so not too busy. The two behind the counter were clearly distracted chatting, a lady asked what we’d like and I said to my son to say what he’d like she went and prepared the drink and carried on chatting and came back and asked for payment, I said we hadn’t finished our order as she hadn’t asked if I’d like anything. I then placed my order, again off she went chattering again back turned - no engagement - came back - part of the order complete asked for the money I signified I had vouchers but she walked off still chatting. I thought I had scanned both vouchers as I was then asked if it was card payment for the balance. I paid by card and asked for a receipt as it felt expensive. Needless to say we were overcharged and both vouchers hadn’t scanned. There was zero engagement throughout the counter service and it was clear we were interrupting their day. When the server came around collecting cups I advised we had been overcharged, she asked how, I explained, she said I should have told her I had two vouchers as they need to press a button between each. I advised I would of however unfortunately we had been subject to what limited service due to their continued conversation whilst serving which resulted in a lack of attention being paid throughout. Again her face was like a sour lemon as if we should be grateful she had even turned in, she said I will speak with the manager who was her partner in crime for the gossiping. He eventually offered to process the voucher and refund me, and gave a free drink voucher. No apology for their continued appalling service, nor their gossiping, sour faces or making the customer feel an absolute inconvenience to their day!

Even though I have Caffe Neros closer to my home, I always travel to the West Bridgford store because the quality of the drinks and service are exceptional. The manager of the store clearly cares about customer service, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a busy store but you would expect this when everything is so good.

We visit regularly. Staff are lovely . Coffee great and great selection of cakes and light snacks. Also, dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Weird experience, staff weren't great, coffee was bitter, hot chocolate was OK I suppose and the food was a bit naff.

I come here a couple of times each week, the coffee is perfect and the staff are lovely, which explains why I go so frequently! We have a relaxing time for a chat and occasionally have a little sweet treat. Love this place.

Good coffee but what's happened to the way the panini's are now served. They are no longer served nice and crisp when cooked but they are now unpleasantly chewy and much too hot!

Standard coffee shop, but we always a enjoy a trip with the family. Latté was nice and hot as requested. Staff are pretty good, but did seem to ignore what I was saying to them a bit, hence the dropped star.

We have come here a few times over the years and generally noticed It’s getting more and more scruffy each time. We noticed plenty of dirty tables that hadn’t been cleared or cleaned and unfortunately some spilt food on the floor. We used the upstairs seating area and found some of the furniture up there rather stained and grubby. I didn’t particularly want to sit on one of the chairs because I had decent coat on. The toilets are rather shabby and the place needs a good clean and a lick of paint together with some new furniture. Sorry but if I’m spending up to £15 on coffee and a cake each I prefer better surroundings.

We go here a lot. All the staff are great - friendly, cheerful and have good memories on customers’ preferences as well. The place could do with a spruce up but as everywhere it’s the staff that make it

Coffee best in West Bridgford, staff cheerful, efficient and the cafe is clean. It is child and dog friendly and serves great cakes, pannini andb sandwiches. There is an outside seating area and a quieter area upstairs

Was always my favourite coffee shop ON Central Ave. Seems to have become very tired. Coffee still good but service and cleanliness has deteriorated significantly. We went on Saturday late morning. Half full but dirty tables everywhere and messy stations with sugar and water. Feels like Nero are coasting and will soon be taken over by the local independents.

I've used this place many times and still enjoy a visit. The coffee is always excellent, the staff are courteous, professional and quick at working any queues that build up. There's a car park close by and daily newspapers are provided too. Upstairs there's more tables so the seating capacity is quite reasonable and I've never been unable to find a place to sit. Recommended.

It is just another cafe like Costa and Starbucks, but they serve the tastiest desserts for people who are looking to hang out and have a delicious hot cup of Latte or Espresso because it tastes so good. We have put almost 4 dishes of sweets and I can tell the best is the cheesecake. Even so, it is helping yourself service but it is worth visiting in Nottingham for a relaxing me time or to hang out with your friends.

Went in today for coffee after a couple of months and it is now quite scruffy. Also seemed to be more of a kindergarten. Noisy with kids and mummies who seem to have taken over the front area of the cafe with children bouncing up and down on the settees and generally noisy. Last visit fof us although the staff are lovely.

Had a very nice time with my friends, waiter was really lovely :-) we got the perfect drinks, exactly what we wanted, didn’t have to wait long.

We love the coffee, the latté always has a double shot. The pastries are fresh and lovely and the staff are always pleasant.

Popped in for a quick coffee and slice of lemon cheesecake. Service was great, cake and coffee were excellent.

Love there coffee it has a special flavour and they are very affordable as well .they also have lovely snacks

Cometí el error de usar Costa en mi primera visita a WB - Nero está en una liga diferente - el personal es super amable y profesional que sirve excelente café - será un regular aquí ahora

Ordering in here felt like a big city, shouting the order over other customers. And then getting our drinks by the time we get to the counter. It was a very busy but that did make the environment very fun

Been here a couple of times now to get drinks and they are so yummy with great service I love the fact you can get rewarded for buying drinks there though their loyalty card scheme

Caffe Nero in general and the West Bridgford one in particular are my favourite coffee shops. Whenever I'm in Brigford I invariably go there for a cappuchino and chocolate shortbread. My review is date Oct 2016 but I go there most weeks so it could be anytime in the last 5+ years!

Since retirement I have had coffee in numerous coffee bars and I have to say the coffee served at Caffe Nero is by far the best and much recommended.

This Caffe Nero is the perfect location to get off the worlds merry go round,sit back and enjoy your favourite drink of coffee or tea with an excellent selection of snacks to choose from if your feeling a little peckish. It can be found in the centre of West Bridgford opposite Bridgford park and is10 minute stroll from the world famous Trent Bridge cricket ground & Nottingham Forest FC football ground. It's also not far from a national water sports centre & Notts County FC the oldest football club in the world.It has a light comfortable 2 level ground & 1st floor indoor seating area with 2 entrance/exits,1 having an easy ramp for less abled customers. It has excellent outdoor seating to enjoy the warmer days,all helping when watching the world go bye. The interior is kept clean and smart it also plays background music that is kept at low level and is easy on the ear. The staff are all friendly,helpful& polite.There are 4 car parks close bye with 3 having a £1 for 2hours fee. There is also regular bus services very close by which serve West Bridgford & Nottingham.

Half the problem with Caffe Nero is the waiting time but, here they are rapid. Great natrual daylight which is a plus and coffee/pasteries as they always are...pretty standard.

This is a nice coffee shop. The place is clean and the staff were courteous.I would recommend the lemon cheesecake, which is always a favourite of mine. The only point to watch out for is that you can queue for awhile at busy times. Not as fast as I would like sometimes.

I had already lunched, but with time to spare, called in for coffee. This is a large branch of Caffe Nero on two floors. On a sunny day and with large picture windows offering views over a local Park it was a good spot to relax and enjoy a newspaper and the wifi. All the usual products are carried, but this branch deserves a "Very Good" rating because of the particularly welcoming and helpful staff

I really like the coffee at caffe Nero. But the one thing that bugs me is their pricing policy. I like a one shot soya cappuccino. Their standard is two shots. So I'm saving them a shop but then they charge me 30p extra for soya milk. How does that work!!They take in one hand and they take in the other

West Bridgford has a plethora of coffee shops, too many you may think but Cafe Nero is always a good experience, comfortable seating free wifi and friendly staff. A good place to watch the world go by.

A Typical Nero coffee bar. The coffee always tastes good and the staff are quick and attentive. These larger chains often lack atmosphere but this place isn't too bad and has lots of seating outside.

Even when nothing else is open in West Bridgford Cafe N is usually serving coffee. The staff are great, always friendly and welcoming and very efficient. They are sometimes knee deep in customers but always on the ball. The pastries are my favourite of any of the chain coffee shops. As soon as the sun comes out this place is full.

Busy coffee shop on the corner in West Bridgford. Seating upstairs which can be missed. Nice outside area when it's warmer. Nice cakes good coffee.

I visit at least once a week either with friends, colleagues or my kids at the weekend. Coffee is great as you'd expect and I find the staff in this branch helpful and friendly. The only time I had cause for complaint over a very dry bit of carrot cake, the member of staff immediately apologised, replaced it with a cake of my choice and gave me a completed loyalty card for a free coffee on my next visit.
