Caffe Nero in Woking

Ok for a coffe I guess , can’t really screw with that too much, but service slow food not hot and undercooked, tables dirty and liked by a passing customers dog. Looks like run by kids who never learned to tidy their rooms. Sorry.

Won’t go back, tables dirty and staff not engaged in customer service. Really would be a better experience if these points could be addressed.

This Nero has indoor and small section of outdoor seating. Lots of options for snacks and lunch. The pastries did look like they’d been sat there for some time. The service was average and relatively quick.

Coffee is always good at Neros but I have to say our most recent experience at this particular cafe in Woking was awful None of the tables were cleared of pots - everyone was moving cups and plates to be able to get a table (it wasn't busy btw) The tables needed a wipe down and the floor needed sweeping. Frankly it felt dirty. 10 mins to clear and wipe the the tables was all that was needed. I won't be going in again if it is anything like this again.

This is the place to have coffee and pastry before taking a walk by the canal or hopping a commuter train to London.

Some members of staff seem unapproachable, especially the bird that does not have english as her first language. She should pursue an alternative career path .i.e. one that does not involve working with people let alone the public.

Really good coffee and croissants...better than most in Woking. Service, no weaknesses. Seating a bit cramped, so best if not too busy.

Love their stronger than others coffee. Promptly served. Due to turnover of staff the quality of coffee can vary which is a shame.

Slick fast service which is a must due to local competition and customers limited time. The best coffee of all the chains.

The coffee and croissants are of excellent quality at this busy cafe. Service quite good, tables need a wipe occasionally( we are regulars. Average prices.

Bad serice - no welcome, no eye contact and server more interested in filling out bookwork and talking to boyfriend sitting in cafe.. zero points for what is normally a good brand

Morning coffee. Top service. Atmosphere great for work or study. Great also if you want to meet with the lads.

It isn't hard to call this the best place in Woking to get a coffee. It outshines the rest by far. Consistently good drinks are made by every member of staff, their training standards are clearly above everyone else's. The atmosphere of the shop is always a nice one, I'm always visiting and I've never seen a customer complaining about something or anyone ever raise their voice inside. It's always peaceful and relaxing when I visit. The tables are always clean and all the seating. I've never been given a dirty cup or cutlery. Staff are all lovely. The standards of this shop far remove it from the other coffee shops around the town centre. Even little things are always attended too such as the water jugs never being empty and all sugars stocked up. I've never waited more than a few minutes for food and it's always brought right to my table. Having worked in coffee shops myself and knowing how busy this one gets I am very very impressed with everything the staff manage to do within their day. It is clearly all down to their hard work that this cafe is well loved by all it's customers and people will never stop coming back.

A handy place to meet for a coffee/tea/cake. Handy while out shopping or just meeting friends. Seating upstairs for a group get together away from the busy areas.

Small coffee bar/cafe in Woking that is part of a chain. Coffee is good quality and a fair price. We were able to sit down and relax for a while. Clean place. Staff very good service.

Went here with our dog because the chain accepts them inside and outside.

All that you would expect from very slickly run coffee shop. All is in order with very prompt service. They could be more welcoming and smile more.

Only one member of staff was working during my visit which made service very slow, coffee was lovely as it is in all Nero’s but my toasty was disgusting which may be down to my personal taste but I wouldn’t order that again.

We used this handy cafe for a snack lunch whilst shopping and going to a show in Woking. The service could not be faulted, although we did not call on a busy day, and our paninis were very tasty. Top marks to Caffe Nero.

Caffe Nero coffee is distinctive and better than the rest of the big coffee chains, and it always has been excellent. Their sandwiches, hot and cold, are also very good and fairly priced. Even the decaffeinated coffee is strong and rich.

Not sure if it's just me/us, but it took 5 attempts to ask a member of staff to get two tripple chocolate cookies. 'Trainee' or not the staff make ordering and getting served a slow process.

Mi amigo de Woking estaba de visita en el REINO UNIDO y sugirió este lugar. Huevos revueltos con salmón y tuve el excelente desayuno vegetariano de champiñones tortilla de queso feta plus, frijoles, tomates y pan ciabatta. Excelente pancakes con sirope de arce y el delito freche seguido.

Tomamos un café con leche con una sandwichera. La comida era deliciosa y el café caliente, a mi me gusta.

Central position, always busy, self service so prices good and their croissants are delicious, best in Woking. Can be cramped inside if you are wheelchair bound or have a pushchair but have seen staff move tables to accommodate in an unobtrusive way. Worth a visit

Not much to say coffee is consistently good, service is always prompt, team polite, good selection of sandwiches and pastries.

Cafe Nero is becoming my high street coffee shop of choice as finding it tastes better than Costa. This is a nice little cafe, open early. Staff mixed one friendly and businesslike. ..the other over chatty and causing delay...not what you want first thing in...

Mi amigo y yo siempre venía aquí para revisar antes de los exámenes porque tiene un ambiente muy relajado y tranquilo, a menudo puede pasar un montón de horas en llegar aquí el trabajo. La comida y las bebidas son muy buenas y siempre con una sonrisa.

Nos gusta el pop para un café rápido cuando esté en la ciudad, buen bocadillos y buen ambiente. Su normal nero en la calle alta!

Caffe Nero en mi experiencia en la producción de café se distingue por todas partes tiene ejemplar montaron una tienda. La sucursal de woking no es la excepción.

Just had another gorgeous soya milk cappuccino, perfectly prepared by Ewelina according to our prefences and taste: my girlfriend and I love very dry and foamy cappuccinos and it's always nice seeing our expectations fully met by the great staff at Nero's in Woking.

Lots of seating, very conveniently situated. Service is very good and staff helpful and friendly. Good menu and priced reasonably. Visited many times and it's a very good meeting place to catch up with friends

Les viennoiseries sont délicieuses mais vraiment hors de prix. Le service n'est pas sympathique et à priori, le calcul des prix n'est pas le fort des caissières puisque deux commandes exactement similaires ne valent pas le même montant d'un jour à l'autre.

The cafe is slightly on the edge of the shopping area and so tends to get a few more business types rather than shoppers and children. It could do with a bit of a refresh as other cafes are moving up market in Woking.

It's what you expect of a cafe : quick and efficient service, along with a great cup of coffee. It hit the spot on all scores so I recommend it.

Not the chain I most commonly use .. but it is the one preferred by the partners in my life. This is as lovely a Nero to be in as the others I use. I waver between tea and caramelatte.

I am a regular coffee-drinker and I've been "testing" all major coffee shops around the county (Costa, Starbucks, Nero) for the past 12 months. Whenever I seek a foamy and frothy cappuccino, I know for sure that Caffè Nero in Woking will not disappoint me. The staff is so friendly and polite that I always enjoy a human touch whenever I am served and welcome. All baristas seem so customer-focused that they normally remember and start making my usual favourites well before I order them!

Coffee was quite weak so had to ask for extra shot which I had to pay for. My panini took so long to come that I had to ask for it. Staff very apologetic

Had a delicious Chicken and Bacon Ciabatta and a very nice Cappuccino, food is lovely and fresh and tasty and the coffee is good. At least you can taste it unlike some coffee shops which use inferior tasting coffee.Friendly staff which is nice, service with a smile

My coffee shop of choice in Woking, and in any town I can find them. I visit regularly with Family and Friends.The staff are always friendly (with the exception of one branch I used in London), and the food and coffee are first class. I like my coffee strong, and object to paying for an extra shot so Nero win hands down!

Firstly let me say that Cafe Nero is my absolute favourite chain coffee company. Their coffee is delicious and their food (especially the soups!) is to die for. Their staff are always polite and helpful. The Woking branch is no exception to this, but there is one thing I would criticise. I often work from different Cafe Nero's and use the cloud wifi etc, but the Woking branch had no power outlets at all! I asked staff and they confirmed there weren't any. This meant my working day there was limited to the life of my laptop battery so after a couple of hours I was forced to move to Starbucks. It's a silly thing to nit pick about but in this day and age a lot of people work from coffee shops, and give said coffee shop a days worth of custom as well. It would be nice to see this altered, but even if it's not I'm still going to be going there every day for my caffeine fix and whatever else I can work out an excuse for!

Nice comfortable Cafe which I definitely miss since I no longer work in Woking. Typical Nero really, but there is no much choice around which makes it quite nice.

Stopped in here on wed lunchtime for a coffee and sandwich, got a seat and had a very nice egg and cress sandwich and a cappuccino,staff all very good just a nice place to chill

I have been a regular here for a couple of years and have to say that the service and the coffee is consistently good.

I always use Cafe Nero when I can find one, and because of the very hot weather decided to try an iced coffee - first time ever. it was delicious, and very refreshing. Service was excellent, but I felt that the tables, inside and out, needed a good clean.

I really love their coffee They have the tastiest chocolate cake.Love the belgian hot chocolate. Would recommend to everyone.
