Costa Coffee in Woking

Do not frequent this place very often! But Breakfast Tea was very hot indeed!

The worst costa i have ever been to. The young lad thay served me didn't even speak to me when he took my order. Then there was another young person who was serving free hot drinks outside and nearly spilt them on me and then eventually gave my order to someone else and didn't even apologise. Don't know how the management is not dealing with all these bad reviews.

Had a makeover and is looking fresh again. Always busy but the staff were very helpful.

OK but the upholstery on the seating is not very good,badly stained and quite off putting,won't be visiting this branch of Costa in the near future

The cup is warm, the hopes are high, But Costa’s brew? Oh, my, oh my. A bitter sip, a burnt refrain, Like cardboard soaked in midnight rain. The beans once bold, now flat and weak, A muddy taste, no flair to seek. I dreamed of rich, smooth coffee bliss, But all I got was this sad miss. Oh, Costa, why the cruel despair? A caffeine fix deserves more care. Next time I’ll pass, and save my tongue, From coffee crimes so sadly sprung.

This place has really let itself down lately. Incredibly slow service, lack of enthusiasm or care. Please step it up again because this place used to be quick and good!

I went on Sunday 25th August 2024, the shorter guy with black curlyish hair did not say a word throughout the transaction. You cleanly think you're too good to work there yet you're working there.

We come here regularly during the week,very friendly good service,the staff are more like friends,would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had orderd a strawberry frappe unfortunately you forgot the straw it's just a better way to enjoy the drink

I asked and orders a mango frappe so it'd come with the bubble tea balls and the surpes but I got given a mango cooler with some cream on top which costs less then what I ordered?

Going to have to stop coming here. It was pretty good - at least three stars. Went in today. Some new members of staff - quite young - and got my usual order to go. Got it. Sipped it. Threw it away. Terrible. The food is fine if you want cakes and biscuits, but if you can’t do a decent coffee - what’s the point?

Staff very very slow in here waited forever and a day for cups of coffee and a couple of pieces of millionaire short bread. Coffee tasted burnt when tasted. Glad this is not my usual one. As I tend to spend nearly 80 weekly on coffees at there other ones.

This place is very popular, it's always busy here.

I popped in and was served by a young lady who introduced herself as courtney..sadly I have an allergy to nuts..she was very professional and showed me the allergens guide so I could make an informative decision. It was a breath of fresh air to be acknowledged in this manner. Hats off. Well done costa.

The staff became so rude and defensive when asked how come they allow people to smoke at their outside table, although this space is 3 feet away from a children mini playground.

No sound deadening features. Sometimes too noisy for my 91 year old husband. Very friendly and helpful.

It's a good place because it's close to a playground and it's great for mothers with children, although the tables are rarely cleaned and it generally doesn't look very inviting.

Love this place! Even when it's crazy busy, they somehow keep the waiting times to a minimum. All of the team there are really nice and the place is always clean and tidy! The only thing I can suggest, is that god awful door that needs sorting out!! Tina is an absolute legend x

Delivery was in window but it takes over 30 mins from placing order for 2 teas, a toasty and couple pastries. Everything was cold on arrival. There should be an option to add more sugar for those that need more than 3.

Good size costa but gets busy friendly staff with kids play area right outside with outside seating to plus a nice size lake you can walk round

The driver rang my entry phone several times, but refused to enter the building. He said the front door would not open. A neighbour from across the road brought the food in, saying the driver was going to take it away. She did not have a problem accessing the building. Obviously, the driver couldn't be bothered to deliver the food. The bacon sandwich would have been nice and hot if delivered properly.

Very noisy. My neighbour has a hearing aid but found it hard to hear me coz background noisy so loud. Coffee machine so noisy.

Banning people who smoke is wrong from sitting outside need more bigger tables and covered canapes up all year round

It's quite a busy and noisy Costa but there's seating outside which is quieter or you can get a take away and walk a couple of minutes to a bench by Goldsworth Park lake which us lovely.

A visit to Costa is always a treat for my family. We love our local Costa. The baristas are amazing. The location is great for a walk around the lake and a play in the park. The venue is clean and relaxing.

Yet again, they forgot the sausage bap. They need to change their staff as they cannot complete the simple task of fulfilling an order correctly.

Yet again a food item was missing - sausage bap. I have had more incorfrect orders from this place than correct orders! Very sloppy. You are better off going in person so you can correct them when they get it wrong.

Sitting in Costa right now. Not for the first time have they placed untensils on the tray they claim are clean but certainly do not look it. Currenyly have a table arguing at the top of their voice and Costa supervisor says yhere is nothing they can do but I am welcome to leave as I complain. Shocking service.

Recent refurbishment was definitely needed and is a huge improvement.

I like using Costa Coffee and was pleased when opened up a shop just around the corner from where I live. The opening almost clashed with the Covid pandemic. It's a nice spacious cafe with comfortable seating. Lots of outside seating infront of the little playground for toddlers to use Nice coffee. reasonablypriced Plenty of parking.. A nice shop

Why bother to ask me if I want sugar in my tea, when quite plainly there is no effort made to provide it?

I used to come here quite frequently, grab a coffee and have a walk around goldsworth park lake. Can get very busy during peak times, but no more than your usual coffee shop. Only thing is, the coffee does vary wildly on who’s serving you.

Ordered 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks and 2 cakes. Only the drinks arrived. Terrible service

the drinks have the tiniest bit of whipped cream on and they didn’t give us straws, im really disappointed in my order!

Delivery was quick and efficient with lovely hot drinks. However I wanted marshmallows and chocolate dusting non of which was given so bit disappointed with that. We still enjoyed our drinks though

Very young workforce but are always really polite and try their best. There's a man with a bun who's always really quick with our drinks, theres a lovely woman I think is the manager, always friendly and polite. EDIT - One of the idiot workers waited 15 minutes to tell me their coffee machine was broken. I'd ordered a cold drink and a coffee. She looked so mopey, sloppy and disinterested when telling me this. I asked for a refund "you gottaa call customaaa serviceeee" will no longer buy coffee here.

I ordered a Terry's Chocolate Orange Hot chocolate with marshmallows and a flake, with a Terry's Chocolate orange muffin, and a packet of Salt and Malt Vinegar crisps and all I received was half a cup of cold Terry's Orange Hot Chocolate which was disgusting, I didn't get my flake or marshmellows and I couldn't even tell you what my Terry's Chocolate Orange muffin tasted like because I didn't receive that either!! Absolutely shocking service, and I don't understand why the delivery drivers at Just Eat aren't double checking people's orders before delivering them? I've lost money on items I haven't received and I'm Absolutely angry and I would like my money back!

Just picked up Good to Go bag what a load of rubbish hate water melon and the smallest Ham roll I've ever since no more thanks 😩😩

For £2.85 you want a good cup of black Americano. I received a weak cup of caramel coloured disappointment. I'd take a 99p McDonalds coffee over this anyday. No plans to return.

The two staff work their socks off yet are always polite and helpful

Staff are friendly and polite but the young ones there are not being trained too well and are left unsupervised. Not their fault, they're there to learn, but without supervision they are slow and inefficient when it's very busy. Can do better with better management

They forgot to pack an item again (bottle of Diet Coke). It seems if you order anytthing other than coffee... they forget to pack anything else!! Sloppy admin from this store.

Services was quick and staff all ways friendly

Often forgets to pack one of the items on my order. This must have hapened at least 5 times now where an item is missing from the order.

Two days in a row I received coffee with no sugar or stirrer and bacon baps with no sauce even though I put this on the notes. The food was cold today too. Absolutely terrible service.

Always a great place to grab a cuppa, easy access to the lake, waitrose, post office, boots and a charity shop. Literally the perfect spot!

2nd time we have ordered a delivery and costa have left out one of the items. The other sandwiches were all bent up and filling hanging out. Won't order from them again. Don't blame uber eats.

Delivery time was great as was the latte, unfortunately received a bacon bap instead of an egg bap and as I am a vegetarian I couldn’t eat it but everything else was great

Fantastic service, it was busy but I didn’t feel rushed, professional, knowledgeable and above all smiled. The coffee was good, the place clean, and I even got table service without asking, ( I have trouble carrying things) The two guys on service were called James and Jack, well done guys!!!!!

Yesterday 31st August Friend of mine and I wanted to get a cup of coffee before we go round the lake at 18:49 the doors were locked. The barista inside knew we were at the door but wouldn't open the door he shut the shop before its closing time!!!!

Every time I get something from here it tastes different every single time. The drinks are always tepid & weak tasting and it says something when the food is hotter than the drinks. I generally go for cold drinks now because my thought process is “how wrong can they get a cold drink?” Turns out they don’t know how to do iced teas and the blended ice drinks. The chocolate mint drink has so much bright green mint syrup it looks nuclear and tastes like toothpaste. The only drink they can do consistently is the mango and passion fruit cooler.

Delivery driver was brilliant, I accidentally put my work adress he called me and delivered to my house. Lovely guy.

You gave my type 1 diabetic girlfriend full sugar caramel and not sugar free. Her sugars are now dangerously high!

The coffee was really nice however the chocolate twist I ordered was Rock hard and couldn’t eat it.

Food was awful, cold and really gristly undercooked sausages

I went here the other week with my two sons. I felt the manager was quite rude to younger employees and very bossy. She also nearly knocked over my youngest son when walking. I won’t be coming here again. Not impressed at all.
