Friendly staff, lovely food, good choice of food including vegan, nice atmosphere, kids area...just a lovely cafe plus good value for money!

Great food & fantastic service. Popped in for something to eat & drink while at Dockside. Its a nice coffee shop away from the shoppers. Friendly professional staff. Would thoroughly recommend. Took a card for a catering order too.

Coffee very nice . Breakfast Pannini Awful nothing fresh hard dry sausage and a piece of dried bacon. I have no idea why it had a bowl of side salad again not fresh.

Partner and I stopped at this place to grab a quick bite. I ordered mozzarella tomato panini, he had tuna panini. While the service was lovely the food tasted extremely bland and was just not good. Would not recommend getting any sandwiches.

We go here at least once a week. great coffee and cake. They keep it very clean and spacious for guests. Staff are always happy to help. You pick a table then order and they bring the drinks to the table. No faf great service.

Panini Brothers is on the upper level of the Chatham outlet centre. We went one weekend in October and it was quite busy - if you come at the wrong time there can be a wait for a table. You order from a wide range of panini at the counter and it is served to your table. The quality if the food is good - service friendly but slow.

A very clean local eaterie. Tables were cleared promptly by the team, Helpful, polite staff and a really extensive menu. We were spoilt for choice. Food was served promptly, arrived piping hot, was beautifully presented and of a good portion size on clean crockery. Best of all was the coffee -- really fabulous, not full of milky froth, a decent sized cup of coffee, served hot. Well done to all at Panini Brothers, Dockside Outlet, Chatham. Popped in for lunch - just a bite to eat! Very pleasant staff at the counter where we ordered. The trouble was that my toasted sandwich that I had ordered was soggy because it had not been toasted correctly.( please see the attached photo).I approached a member of staff & said my snack was certainly NOT as described. She asked if I wanted it re- toasted.......no apology....."yes, please, of course" I replied. It was taken away & pretty quickly returned.We were in a hurry otherwise I would have normally asked to speak to a Manager to point out my dissatisfaction.Frankly good managers should be aware of what is happening in their 'eatery'& then apologise & assure us that this will not happen again, shouldn't they?

Stated was that it was freshly made paninis, expecting it to be made when you order, that was not the case, they were already made and in packaging, as my partner couldn't eat one as they all had mayonnaise in them. Chips were rock solid not even my 2 year old child would eat them and he loves chips. Wouldnt bother coming here again, especially when false advertising about having fresh food is involved.

such good value for money. serving panini, baguettes (which are massive), jacket potatoes, toasted sandwiches, delish cakes & muffins and ice creams. Really good children's menu. Small children's area with tv and colouring books. Coffee is really good. Most of all the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Food is ok for lunch time with a variety of baguettes and homemade soup. The homemade soup is delicious and very hot. Coffee is nice too and service is ok.

While shopping in the Outlet Centre it reached 2.00pm in the afternoon. We were both feeling in need of a sit down, some food and a drink. The process is very simple. You find a table, note its number, view the menu and then order at the counter. Retake your seat at your table. The drinks were brought over first, followed a few minutes later by the freshly cooked food.

We like visiting The Panini Brothers while shopping at the Dockside Outlet Centre, the staff are always pleasant and friendly and it is a nice clean place to eat.So we popped in for a light lunch again and had two lovely cheese and ham Paninis, a coffee and a smoothie. Their prices are reasonable and we are never kept waiting too long for our food.We’ll be back the next time we are shopping at the Dockside Outlet Centre.

Popped in for a cup of coffee with a client. Staff at the counter were pleasant and friendly. Took order at counter but then served you at table. Good environment and quite enough to discuss business in privacy.

Went at 1310 lunchtime on a Friday, no tuna sweetcorn baguettes, and not able to make one, staff did not seem to know they had run out and didn't seem to care, not the first time this has happened. Wont bother returning.

Me and my mum went here today. My mum is a vegetarian so ordered the soup of the day which was leak and potato according to the sign. When the soup came my mum ate some then found a chunk of ham. I went to ask why the soup had meat in it and explained my mums a vegetarian and had eaten it and the staff said they forgot to change the sign and today’s soup was actually pea and ham. They said “does she want something else” but did not apologise at all or offer a refund until we asked for one. My mum was quite upset as she doesn’t eat meat. Very disappointed will not be coming back.

Had a cuppa and slice of cake with a friend after shopping. Cake was tasty, coffee was tasty, plenty of seating. All the staff were friendly and happy to help. Will be returning.

Visited for lunch yesterday with husband. Had two coffees one lasagna and I had the goats cheese & pesto ciabatta. My ciabatta was very tasty but my husband was not so impressed.

Popped in before the shops opened, had a nice coffee and sausage bap looking out the window watching the rain.

The curry soup was hot and tasty, the lady who brought it to our table said they have different soups every two days. Its best to ask what the soup of the day is. My husband really enjoyed it, I had a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich which was very nice as I'm not a great lover of curry. The coffee is very enjoyable too. The service is good. I signed up for their Reward Card to collect points because we will definitely be returning.

Popped in here today for a quick lunch. Thought it was a really lovely place. Staff were all extremely busy and doing their best. Food was great, reasonably priced, and served quickly.

Visited here for a bite to eat before going to the cinema. I like it here but was a little disappointed today. My husband ordered a ham and cheese panini. It really didn't look like the usual panini we have had before. It really resembled a very small baguette. It contained a very small amount of ham and barely any cheese. My jacket potato was delicious with a huge serving of beans. Coffee was good though. Considering its name you would think the panini would be a speciality but not today.

Lovely bacon butties for breakfast and wonderful muffin and cakes to choose from. Nice atmosphere and staff. Coffee was delicious.

Poor snd getting worse. Staff disinterested. Had to wait fir a cheese roll as somehow it got list between my giving it to the server abd getting to my table. Cheese was not very nice either. Wont be returning.

I went and had a bite to eat on my own before shopping. Friendly staff , great coffee and enjoyed the cheese and tomato toasted sandwich. sat and read a newspaper for a bit and then felt relaxed enough to brave the shops.

This coffee shop is in the Dockside Outlet Centre in Chatham up on the first floor, so a little out of the way.

A great jacket potatoe served with a variety of toppings and salad garnish served by very friendly staff at table (ordered at counter).

Within the centre enjoyed a drink and light snack with my parents. Its a busy establishment and staff are very pleasant

Popped in to The Panini Brothers for a lunch time snack of toasted sandwiches and cups of tea. The tea cups, saucers, tea spoons and tea spot were filthy and we had to request clean ones. The place was pretty empty but the girls there didn't seem to be bothered about cleaning tables or the crockery.

This place is very clean and tidy. Staff are very nice and helpful. Very very expensive. Cakes are lovely but again very expensive. If you try to go in this cafe say.... 20 mins before it closes you do not feel welcome. Sweeping up around your feet makes you feel rushed. Noone talks to you in the hope you would hurry up and go. Apart from that, not bad

Had lunch here recently and I wasn't very impressed. Considering the name you'd think it would be proper panini bread but no it's just a baguette half-filled with your order and half-cooked. The chips were the worst I've ever eaten, obviously frozen but bad, bad frozen chips, I only ate a few. Won't be returning.

We fancied something light to eat while shopping at the Dockside Outlet Centre, Chatham Maritime, and decided to try Panini Brothers, formerly known as Caffe Fratelli.

Visited the place for the 1st time today and we are extremely unhappy with the service we have received. The manager Anita is the rudest person and shouldn't be serving customers with the attitude like she has. I even asked for her name because I thought she deserved to be named. Food wasn't good either, blueberry muffins that we had were probably made ages ago. We will not be eating there again.

I have been here a few times and the coffee is good but i object to being asked is that all when paying the bill, i usually have biscuits or crisps with coffee. Also staff need training in addressing customers not calling me "love" which is disrespectful, i'm a 70 year old female. The sugar bowl on the table needed cleaning as the sachets of sugar were stuck to the inside, quite off putting.

I visited the Panini Brothers a few weeks ago with a few colleges. It did not take long to be served despite it being lunch time and it was also easy to find a seat. Giving a table number to the staff is a fantastic idea as it prevents the staff from getting confused when serving your food and ensures it gets to you quickly.

Had a steak Panini and it had 1 slice of processed beaf inside, tasteless and expensive. Don't waste your money

Havent been to Dockside outlet in a while so popped inb & had a bite to eat.

Vine aquí hace un año y era horrible y la comida no era buena y el personal que obviamente no quería estar allí. Vine aquí de nuevo 1 año, sólo porque los baby boomers encantador café estaba cerrado (abajo) para encontrar que Dockside, nada había cambiado. En primer lugar, el menú parecía genial - un montón para elegir. Elegí el Oreo batido como un viernes por la noche tratar. Después de la degustación, tuve que preguntar si había helado en él, ya que era más o menos leche con chocolate. . . £3. 50 para una leche de chocolate! ! ! Personal me dijo que probablemente sabía así como el helado habían dejado fuera y no era bien congelado. El personal no me importó, por supuesto, y no podía beber. Esta vez, nunca volveremos!

Me encuentro a mis amigos aquí regularmente. Me gusta la comida y, aunque soy celiaca y atienden para mí. Chocolate caliente es absolutamente encantadora, uno de los mejores que he probado. Buena relación calidad precio y me gusta la ensalada poco te dan con un sándwich. Uno de los establecimientos más razonable en el Dockside como otros lugares son bastante caros.

Aquí un par de meses o así hace, sólo descubrí el nombre diferente. Pedimos dos patatas chaqueta con queso. Aunque estaban en el exterior fueron muy frío por dentro. Tomó parte trasera y la señorita dijo que calentar. Las edades esperamos y finalmente les dieron vuelta - tan fría. Como yo estaba caminando de regreso a la barra, con ellos, la segunda vez, ella era mi dinero de la caja y me devolvió sin comentarios o disculpa.

Este café ha cambiado su nombre hace algún tiempo pero no parece haber sido actualizado en Tripadvisor. Tienes raciones realmente generosas aquí y es un regalo para mi suegra y yo después de un poco de terapéutica de compras. Tuvimos la ensalada de pollo couscous el sábado pasado. Realmente nos deberían haber tenido una porción entre nosotros y los dos platos! Por desgracia no pudimos almorzar allí hoy ya que no había suministro de agua en la fábrica.

I went in here with my nan and we was appalled with the service it took them a good 5 minutes to realise that we was waiting at the till then they mucked up when we was paying and had to do it twice so we most likely have been charged twice after all that was sorted we over heard one of the staff members saying how stupid my nan was because of the mistake. We then went to sit down at our table and realised that my nans coffee was already on the table which we don't know how long it had been there and was cold when drunk. A few minutes after another woman who worked there came out with another coffee and took it back quickly when realised we already had one and was saying something to the till woman about us again. Overall the food was nice we had the chicken and bacon Panninie and some chips I would only go back for the food not the service that we received.

Firstly, this outlet is now Panini Brothers a South African business with a good overall atmosphere and excellent customer service. We popped in for lunch at around 1pm on a Friday during school holidays and had no problem finding a table and once we had decided on our meals and ordered, we waited no more than ten minutes to be served.Spaghetti Bolognese, Meat Lasagne, Large coke and a speciality coffee cost £15 I had originally intended having a bowl of fries as a side order, but was glad that I didn't, as the meals were of ample proportions and thus, good value for money. The menu was quite extensive and also catered for children. A small but well equipped children's area was also available to keep the little ones occupied.A very pleasant experience and we will be returning here.

The facility has changed names and the selection was as good as ever, if not better. Staff were hard working and polite. It was nice to see tables being cleared and cleaned swiftly and effectively. Food was served and presented well.Toilets are a minutes walk outside in the centre.Enjoyable for a coffee break, breakfast or lunch.

ok now you are supposed to get a seat chose what you want and go to the counter- this needs to be explained on arrival not inside the restaurant. as many still do the old method. alwasy a ot of staff but they just ignore you whilst standing awaiting to order - not good.the food is ok , toasted panini was toasted so good but they forgot half the order. ! had to chase the jacket potatos it was ok though. cake very dry . Seating ok. cutlery still not very clean - all ok though

Fratellis is now The Panini Brothers. Still the same coffee though. All good. Service was a bit slow and staff didn't seem to be too happy. I've found Fratellis to be hit and miss in the past, sometimes great, other times not so good. Today my coffee was hot (still served in Fratelli cups) and my croissant was fresh. Will have to wait and see how the change of name will change the place.

Came here for a quick bite with some friends and was very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. Everything has been revamped and definitely for the better. The food was amazing and I would recommend the aubergine lasagne (my personal fav)

We visited here only because the café downstairs (Boomers) was completely full, just 30 minutes after opening. We were very disappointed-very expensive for what you get. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie so nothing special. It wasn't hot when it was served and it wasn't very big either. Unlike Boomers where I'm completely full after a toastie, I was still very hungry after this and I wasn't the only one in my group to say this. The customer service was quite appalling with the guy serving us in a miserable mood and obviously didn't want to be there.This restaurant is now called 'Panini Brother's and it doesn't compare to Boomers-as I said, Boomers was completely full with a long queue for food at 10:30am. Here, there were lots of empty tables....enough said!Won't be returning.

We have eaten here for some years and was suprised to see the name and colour scheme all changed. We were so disappointed as the food was different too. Plastic pizza bread with insipid toppings, it was bland and unappealing and very unhealthy as we were unable to see any of their delicious wholemeal bread on offer as before. There was a little bowl of salad but nowhere near the previous food quality that was served before. The coffee was as usual really good. No longer a place we will visit sadly.

Very nice coffee. Quite expensive for what you get which is essentially microwaved pre-prepared pasta, however lasagne was more tasty than it looks and so was the panini. Nice spot though and never overly crowded.

I had a drink here this afternoon. The placed looked busy but well managed. The coffee and the service was great. The man was nice and polite, and provided table service which I didn't expect in a coffee shop.

So this time food still avaialble and not run out of. We didnt have to wait long once more staff on the job - but there were strugglingThey all work hard here but sadly a few things let it down. The heating up of food isnt getting right through the food so not good for chicken escalope etc. the jacket potateoes were good but a little small. salad on side good too. the cutlery still not very clean and the glass i was given for my bottle of water was not usable , very dirty. so better than last time but could be even better:)

This place used to be nice there was aways a good atmosphere but since there has been a new manager there it's not very nice at all. The young blonde lady was very rude when I ask do I wait for my drinks? i sat waiting 10 minutes before I received my drink, my drink was cold but by this time I was late for an appointment so I drank up and left, I wont be returning, I would better off at a local cafe. Staff terrible.

Ordered 2 ciabatta sandwiches 1 hot, 1 cold hadn't been put in long enough. Chocolate cake was dry and tiny portion. Frozen yogurt looked nothing like the picture advertising. - mentioned this to the staff, she ignored me. Server didn't tell me if I needed to wait for my coffee or if it was severed, water also never arrived. Terrible service on a weekday with less than half the tables full.

We went there after shopping and the coffee was great. The barista guy who took our order was really nice and friendly. He recommended a slice of the Fruit of the forest cake and it was good too. In fact all the cakes looked lovely.

I ve been at Caffe Fratelli today(23th of sept. ) I had a cappucino and a bagel. The coffee was really good. The bagel was recommended by the staff but it did not disappoint. The barista guy who served me was really nice and friendly too. Definitely recommend this place.

Good coffee papers available and pleasant staff, free wifi is an added bonus nowaday.T.V on but silent with subtitles and a handy play area for the kids.

Went shopping down dockside as needed some bits for the house. Spent a while walking round so wanted a sit down. We went to the cafe fratelli above Clair's accessories as it was on the way out and nice and quiet. I was going for a latte then spotted they did a strawberry youghart / milkshake type drink. I Was served by a young lad who smiled and guided me and my choice which was helpful. I nearly brought a muffin also as they looked delicious but I'm trying to be healthy so stuck to the strawberry drink. The cafe is a nice size and different types of chairs and tables and also an area for children which I think is a fab idea. We sat outside so we could also people watch. I liked this cafe as it was not noisy or overcrowded and we could chat. I will go back there again next time when I have more time for lunch the food looked good.

Had lunch in here twice and on both occasions there was a problem with the food. Last time the jacket potato that we ordered was served up cold, twice! Even after we took it back to complain the first time they brought it back out again 5 minutes later still cold! This time ordered a toasted bloomer sandwich and it turned up with ordinary sliced bread, the excuse was that they had run out of bloomer bread. They should have told us that in tje first place. Coffee is nice though so from now on I will only be coming in here for a coffee and not for something to eat

Contrary to a lot of the reviews on here, I've always found Fratellis to be a cut above your average Italian cafe and easily as good as the many such places in London.Nice Aubergine lasagne - not swimming in Bechamel sauce like you usually find.

Went for a cake and a drink with the family. Neither really took me by surprise. Considering the price I did expect more, we ordered 3 muffins and all three were hard and not soft and crumbly. They tasted ok but nothing to rave about.The cafe was quiet but clean.

we feel a little expensive. Cutlery no very clean . also tables only cleared the floors and chairs not cleared or cleaned and they need it please. food ok when they run out they do not prepare more they sell what they have - or seemed to us that way.

i asked for the sausage sandwich and all i got was 1 small skinny sausage that tasted like mush thinley sliced to try and fill the bread, WHAT JOKERS its reminicent of some dodgy cafe toasted sandwich the middle was soaked in grease and edges where like granite by the time i pulled it apart was nothing there , no wonder the local Costa looks lot busier , at least there food is edible !!

Very disappointed. Lunchtime Saturday and run out of baked potatos for the kids. Only one type of children's sandwich ready. Very small portions of everything. Staff not well organized, if tables need clearing don't return to the kitchen empty handed, take the dirty stuff back. Definitely not worth going again, I'll use BK next door.

Eaten here several times whilst visiting the Outlet Centre. Food is excellent, interesting variety of cakes and sandwiches, good tea and coffee and staff friendly and helpful. Not overcrowded with tables, some comfortable seating and large screen teles all make this place a good pit stop whilst out for the day and a good place to meet up with friends.

No Brown Bread ?. Asked the manager why there wasn't any, and she didn't know that they had run out ?.My left hand always knows what the right hand is doing.It isn't rocket science. I asked if any if the cakes were gluten free. The girl didn't know, asked 3 other girls and they said 'what those cakes, god no' they all turned to me and laughed. She came back and didn't even bother answering me. I said what did you find out and she said laughing, no they are not. I asked why my question was so funny, she just shrugged her shoulders. I asked her if se thought she was being rude, she said it's just a cake. I asked to speak to the manager, sadly it was her who started them off laughing. She said we weren't laughing at you, I told her that none of you were talking, she asked you if any cakes were gluten free and all of you starred and laughed. needless to say, I had my coffee to take out and will nt be going back.it's a shame the staff have such an incompetent manager as a role model. All the staff need training on how to communicate, have knowledge of their products and behave professionally.

There is no finesse to this eatery. And the staff could barely raise a smile, let alone mutter a please or thank you. It costs nothing to be polite people. Back to the food and the kids meals were dire. Half a sandwich or some pasta - which was dried and reheated so it was dried some more. We had to ask for the lollies that were part of the meal and the waitress didn't so much as mutter an acknowledgement, let alone an apology. Our sandwiches were ok. A sandwich on a plate, no side salad, garnish or even a napkin. Which would be ok if they weren't charging almost £5 for them. Not a fan, as you probably can tell.

Great place for a light lunchtime snack although be careful there is a lot to choose from and the portions are not skimpy! Plenty of choice and served efficiently by friendly staff. Maybe not the cheapest but not expensive and good value for money. Recommended.

Popped in with my mum - wanted a panini but they did not have the filling advertised that Mum had picked. Opted for the Feta salad. Sat down with our drinks and was delivered quite promptly with a huge bowl of large chunks of salad and feta. Very pleasing to the eye - very filling and very tasty.

the food options here are poor and they are usually out of some foods by the afternoon. their bread is not very tasty and their drinks are quite poor. The price is higher than it should be, but the only positive is the setting....its q nice relaxed atmosphere...shame the food is so poor.

We stopped by for a bite to eat at lunch time and a display cabinet with a plethora of panini' s and ciabatta's on view tempted me to order a chicken and bacon panini and a baguette for my partner. The panini was a pound dearer than the baguette. The food that turned up were 2 uninspiring, half filled baguettes, admittedly mine had been through the panini grill. When I questioned where the panini was (based on what was on display) I was told this was a panini. The manager was called over and was rude and dismissive and was not interested in customer satisfaction. I had a refund for the 'panini' and will not be returning to this overpriced, under value establishment.

We've only ever eaten their cakes but their hot food looks very nice. Service is good and their selection of cakes are great. The lemon drizzle slice is moist and delicious. Try a little cannoli with your coffee! Gorgeous.

Called in for a snack late afternoon. Maybe it was the time of day but the food was dried up and curling at the edges! Very expensive too for a sandwich.

I have only ever had a coffee here and that has always been very good quality. The seating is good and varied from your standard table and chairs to sofas and coffee tables. There is a very small children's play area and free Wi-Fi and papers.

We visited for a light lunch after visiting Dickens World in Feb half term. After waiting a long time for a member of staff to acknowledge us, we were greeted with no smile, no apology for waiting (even though not terribly busy) and not really much help. I asked for 2 childrens meals, one of the sandwiches I requested had apparently run out when I asked what was available in its place I was answered by a blank stare! I also did not receive the full meal when we did get it sorted. Once at the till to pay the 3 staff that were there were more interested in chatting to themselves, I asked the girl a question 3 times before she actually answered me!The tables were not cleared, the high chairs were dirty and the food came out in dribs and drabs.All in all wish I hadn't wasted my money!

The menu looked varied and interesting, not too much reliance on cheese as so many places do today.The young lady behind the counter couldn't have been less helpful. I asked what flavours they had for the lattes and her response was "those" pointing above her head. Well most of the bottles weren't visible so I asked her to clarify. "The usuals" was her next response, much to her annoyance.Eventually I settled for gingerbread in order not to take up too much of her precious time. She assumed, rather than asked if I wanted regulars which seemed to annoy her when I asked for large.When they did arrive, fairly promptly, they were far too sweet and my girlfriend decided hers was undrinkable and asked for it to be replaced.The rest of the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was quite good. Shame really that one person should let the rest of the place down!

I like to see younger people of the generation working. Expecially on a Saturday. The staff was very welcoming. My tea and hot chocolate for my young one was delivered within 3 minutes of me sitting dowm, this is perfect because we sat down and we was ready. I would recomend this lovely italian cafe. Great quiet location for a bite to eat in Chatham Dockside shopping centre. Upstairs out of the way of the way of the shoppers. Smiling faces greeted me & lovely food.

It took three staff nearly 15 minutes to get us one tea and one coffee. The coffee was burned and was the worst coffee I've ever paid for. Two mouthfuls and I left the rest.

One person taking food orders and prepping ... She couldn't be more rude and clearly inconveniencedNo jacket potatoes so My daughter asked if the soup was gluten free... The response 'dunno'.She asks anything gluten free 'dunno ... What's gluten in?'10 minutes later we see new comers being served jacket potatoes3 young servers behind the counter more concerned with having a good chat than actually servingOne young lady's very long hair was swishing all over the place and she rearranged it constantly playing with it.The young man scratching his beard and moustache as he picked up another cup or two as he was the barista making the coffee!The icing on the cake was the lady behind the counter blowing her nose and having a good old root around up there until she was satisfied... Pippin the tissue into her pocket before serving the next customer!The tables hadn't been cleared so we did our own. The people bringing out the food weren't much better as they handled the food to see what it was before placing it downNo we shouldn't have eaten the food or drunk the coffeeYes 3 out of 6 of us have upset stomached today (one of them a 2 year old)If it looked like there was a manager present we would have complained there and thenBe safer to eat at Burger King next door.

Love it. We quite often go here for a weekend breakfast as the food is always good and the coffee better and although marginally pricy, it's really no more than you would expect to pay in a nice Italian cafe-restaurant. The staff are friendly and if you are early enough there are window seats and free newspapers to browse. If you leave it too late, the shopping centre can become a bit loud, which affects the ambience a bit, but doesn't affect the food of course!

We went there mid morning, it was quiet, the staff seemed okay, I asked for a ham and tomato sandwich to be told we do not make or own but I can take the cheese out of one. My wife then asks for a croissant, no sold out. 11 am no apology we just left and went else where.

What is there to say about a decent cup of coffee? It was hot, frothy and drinkable but not a patch on Costa

The food took ages to arrive and we didn't get what we ordered. Will definitely not be returning and will not reccomend, which is very disappointing.

Had a quick coffee stop here with my daughter on a shopping trip and enjoyed a couple of large slabs of cake. Staff were lovely and friendly and the cakes and coffee were very good - a little bit expensive but worth it for a treat.
