Really delicious brunch!! Got the breakfast brioche and full English. I got the tropical smoothie as well, which tasted refreshing. Would recommend!!

The atmosphere is amazing and food is top quality. My dad also loves the coffee. It’s such an underrated cafe.

I loved this place. I was for one day in Newcastle and I was looking for a British breakfast and I saw this in maps. It’s a really lovely place, the owner is really friendly and helpful. They help you with the menu and the food is really really delicious.

Quality brunch and great service

Our dogs received such a friendly welcome that they’ll be dragging us through the door next time we’re in the neighbourhood. Great menu, enjoyed the breakfast brioche with some iced white mocha & a chocolate mint shake followed by a lovely sweet treat - everything was excellent. Can’t wait to visit again.

Amazing little cafe!! Gluten free options - absolutely delicious! Great service- they accommodated our family of 5 with varying dietary requirements with no issue, including remaking my dish after I missed an allergen in the ordering. Good coffee, relaxing and inviting space. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Newcastle.

Fantastic little spot, the avo on toast looked so appetising we had to have two, and it was delicious. The Hangover Cure smoothie and the Protein Shake were expertly mixed and presented. Honestly can't fault the cafe. Brilliant.

Absolutely fantastic little place. Right next to the metro station and a 5min walk from town, so super convenient. Popped in there for a coffee (ended up having two) and desperately need to go back to try some of the food, I saw a couple of tables getting full englishs and they looked incredible. As did the range of cakes of pastries which they were making themselves. The lady working at the time, Abbie, was an absolute gem and so lovely, and really made me feel welcome. Amazing place and amazing staff :)

Sweet little café in partnership with those in Jesmond and Gosforth. This one is quite small in comparison to the other two, and has a more limited menu than the Jesmond café but is conveniently located for Northumbria University and Manors Metro station. I went here for a date and had the avocado toast and was able to ask for it without eggs, and it was very tasty. It is also dog friendly and has free tap water to which you can help yourself.

Passed by this place many time and finally decided to come. Their menu is not complete, actually they have more types of teas than the ones listed from the menu. I ordered sencha and it is great, neither too strong nor too mild. Halloumi isn’t too bad but it is a bit chunky and hard to chew. Overall it is a cute place, good for having brunch or a cup of coffee or tea.

Really nice place, close to the centre with a local charm. Food was delicious and of high quality, clearly all made from scratch on the spot. Highly recommended if you like to support small independent businesses !

I’m a local student and I just LOVE visiting this place! Whether I’m popping in for a smoothie on my own or a breakfast with my flatmates, I always enjoy coming here. The service is great, staff are just rays of sunshine! They do the best Avocado Toast I have ever had and I always look forward to visiting again. Keep doing what you’re doing guys ✨

Popped in on a nice sunny day for a cold coffee. Abbie our server sorted us out with 2 frappes (1hazelnut, 1 gingerbread). Sat next to the flower wall and had a really nice experience. Will be back.

It´s surely a fantastic place! Friendly staff, nice decoration and amazing food.

I've visited here a few times now, and the food is superb. The bread is to die for. I highly recommend: the Turkish Eggs, their sandwiches on toasted white bread (don't be thinking it's normal white 'plastic' bread, this stuff is amazing - thick, lightly toasted, chewy crusts), the hash browns, the berry smoothie, and their coffees. I haven't tried their cakes yet but I will eventually! The staff are always really friendly, they give off vibes that they really enjoy working there which is lovely to see. It's not cheap but you can see that in the quality of the ingredients, and it's worth every penny.

Beautiful environment, friendly staff. This rocky road cake is vegan and JUST £3.5 The carrot soup (£5.5) was amazing but the best part was the sourdough and the real, churned butter which was rich but light and creamy

First time visiting here and wow the inside and outside decor is lush, gives off American grease kinda vibes! Food was lovely and hot. Great quality and not badly priced, coffee was really good, and the service from the young lass was fantastic- nice to see someone actually really enjoy their job. Place was very clean and great atmosphere - will deffo be back again!

I love coffee in 1901 Cafe, it is lush to have with the chocolate tiffins. The atmosphere is uplifting and vibrant. It is lovely.

Had a nice little day in the 1901 it was just multiple pots of tea and sweet potato fries. Services was quick and efficient and my server always had a smile. Overall great Cafe!

Gorgeous little cafe, came to do some university work with my flat mates and wanted to try the chai latte, ask if syrup would go well with it and they suggested the ginger bread syrup and I’m glad they did! So lush and I would never of chose it otherwise, clearly these people know their coffees !! Would definitely recommend and will be returning

This an my favourite place to eat in Newcastle. It’s my happy place, where I am always greeted with a smile. Usually accompanied by my little pug, we always get a warm welcome from Abbie when we visit. She is friendly, professional and always accommodating. As for the food, I would recommended the brioche breakfast roll, it’s delicious! My pug would strongly suggest that your furry friend tries one of their sausages. All in al, this is a gorgeous cafe, with beautiful decor and a cosy vibe. Highly recommend!

Lovely! For a fair price, myself and my partner enjoyed a filling breakfast alongside a lovely coffee at Manors 1901. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable; we are already planning our next trip back :).

The food here is amazing. We had the most delicious club sandwich. The portion size was fantastic and Abbie who served us was so lovely. The fact that is is also dog friendly was a bonus too, our Labrador loved the complimentary dog treat. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely unreal breakfast, drinks were perfect and the staff is lovely highly recommended.

Ordered the vegetarian breakfast it was huge. Loads of tasty things including halloumi, beans and mushrooms along with vegetarian sausages just watch out for the baby tomatoes. Loved every bite just couldn’t finish the huge serving. Would definitely come back for more.

At first sight it might appear to be style over substance, but this is not the case. The staff are very friendly and it has a very pleasant atmosphere. I had the Eggs your way on sourdough. Massive doorstops of toast. Worth the £7.50 asking price.

Me and my husband came here for breakfast we had poached on toast which lovely 3 eggs and chunky bread toast definitely worth the £7.50 each.

I love this place. I’ve been returning for almost a year now, I just never got around to reviewing. The menu is solid and I’ve always been happy with my dishes. The coffee is great. Staff is superb.

This was one of the most hideous meals i’ve ever had in my 21 years of being alive. Ordered avocado toast and I could throw up at what I received. the avocado just completely mashed and wet with no seasoning or flavour whatsoever. that sourdough was completely soaking wet and soggy i’ve never seen anything like it. disgusting undercooked poached eggs and wet feta. i can make this 10000x better in my sleep. i spent £15.38 on this vile meal.

Went for food the day before my graduation, I’ve been before and loved it! But this time I had an awful experience. Ordered food with my partner same time as my friends, however, we were left sitting for 30 mins after our friends food had been served. So we questioned it, only to be told it was on its way and being left to wait another 30 minutes, by this time our friends had to start eating their food because it was cold as they politely waited for us. The server didn’t even seem bothered by the inconvenience and I had to stop her to say I’m making a complaint, only then did she give us some complimentary drinks which really was not good enough as I had to pretty much ask for them. (Awkward) Also- when the food came out the bread was over cooked and the eggs were undercooked, so ended up not eating most of it anyways. I’m guessing they rushed it? Mini hash browns were best part! Such a shame as it’s a pretty cafe and staff are usually lovely. I’m not saying I will never come again but I’m just very disappointed, and felt it could’ve been resolved much better if the server handled it properly it’s usually one of me and my best pals fave cafe in Newcastle ! ):

Aesthetically pleasing little cafe. We visited for brunch on a late Sunday morning, it was busy-ish. I had Turkish eggs, which were tasty, and a peppermint tea which was good. Service was quick enough, and pleasant.

I used to go to "Steam Yard" for delicious foods and drinks when I was in Sheffield 2 years ago. Since I came to Newcastle, this place nearby Manor station became my fav caffe because of amazing atmosphere, lovely people and delicious foods and drinks. Thank you, guys!

Really lovely place. The Turkish eggs are amazing. Lovely coffee and a great range of drinks/sweet treats. Abby/Abbie (?) Has served us both times we have visited and has always been so accomodating and welcoming. The seats match my shoes too which is always a bonus. Nice decor. 🌝🌚

A quaint and cosy little cafe. It’s shabby chic and it looks smashing. A nice welcome, and a welcoming smile. The seating is a little close, but comfortable and for what I could see, clean. You order at the til, and the waitress brings you your nosh. Me and the wife went at dinner time-ish. It was relatively full. I ordered a full english, the wife got a bacon, sausage and fried egg sarnie. We waited no less then ten minutes. I washed my scran down with a single pot of tea. The tea was weak, but a grind into the side of the pot did the trick. The tea pot, was a lovely style. Sad I know, but I love a nice teapot. The milk came in a millers jug… thingy. It was lovely and they had sweeteners, I’m not a fan of sugar. So, the nosh arrived. It was well cooked at first inspection. Criticism, one slice of bacon and one sausage for the price of nine quid. Now, I don’t mind the price, because it was excellent produce and cooked lovely. Block & Bottle Sausage, small, but mighty. The bacon was thick, juicy and well cooked. Beans were in a little jar thingy, something I appreciated so much. Seasoned and poached eggs! Big and hearty slices of bread too. Lovely mini hash browns, and high remind of American tater tots. The wife got a sarnie, with bacon, one and a half sausage with some fried egg. All cooked well. The one criticism she said was the bun was little large. It was brioche and I tasted it personally and it tasted nice, but she isn’t a fan of bread. ( Makes you wonder why she orders these things? I know, I ask me self the same thing.) But it was a seasoned and lovely delight. The waitress was run off her feet, but she kept this ship running. I’ve seen situations like this in food establishments, and I’ve seen people crumble sadly. Not this lady. She ran this ship on her own. Fair credit to her, she grafted hard in the… maybe, less than an hour we were there. I wish I got her name. She was super and worked her behind off! Is it worth it? Yes. The prices maybe steeper than your average cafe, but the food, the quality, and the portions are right. You can add more, albeit at a price, bit steep but I use the Block and Bottle and these folks need to make a profit. I left stuffed. And I left happy. I have criticisms, but they are minor. I suppose, in the end, I’d certainly recommend this place for a fry up. It’s not traditional, but I can see it becoming the trendy norm. It’s not super budget conscious like a greasy spoon, but those greasy spoons don’t have produce as good. The wife summed this up when we left, you get what pay for. And I left satisfied. What’s more to say?

Went for breakfast at 1901 this morning and it was amazing! Good food, good atmosphere, great service. The manager I think her name was Abby is very friendly and welcoming which made the experience even better. I loved the gluten free options they had too. 100% would recommend!

The venue I liked, staff ok..One girl really nice. I ordered a bacon sandwich not a 5 star meal I know, cant go wrong right? Wrong..The bacon, oven cooked how l like it came out like rubber had no taste and unedible couldnt eat it, must have been super cheap..Even the tea tasted cheap ok if it cost a couple of pounds but it didnt..So needless to say I'll not eat there again..But as a venue now that was nice..

Good coffee but didn’t like the loud rock music. It doesn’t go with the ambiance of the cafe. Overall not bad, but not great. Breakfast was average. Won’t be coming back.

Honestly, the nicest breakie! Was so delish and such good value. The inside of cafe 1901 is also so adorable😍 Staff are also wonderful. My only wish is that they had nicer oatmilk lol. I can’t wait to go back :)
