We had a lovely bottomless at one kitchen and we were served by Izzy, she was a lovely server. We had a lovely time, the food was amazing and the drinks were consistent which is the best type of bottomless!! Would definitely recommended, worth the price at £30 for 90mins!

We love it here. Have since it was Cafe Bar One. My Grandmother loved it, I took my wife here on our 2nd date, we still love it now. Enough change to be fresh but always a friendly face. Burgers recommended.

We had our wedding reception at One Social in August 2024. We were looked after by Jo and her team. The venue was beautiful for the meal. The team were fabulous and helped us really enjoy the whole evening. The food was delicious. All food was halal which was perfect for our Muslim guests. We were able to add our own touches to the venue to make it really special for us. We had a full non alcoholic Mocktail list which we personalised with our own names. There was plenty of room outside for people to relax. There was a full hot drinks menu until late. Thank you so much to One Social for helping make our special day perfect. Emma and Aabid x

I organised a hen party at One Kitchen & Social and it was just perfect. The whole team couldn't have been more helpful with organising all the little extras and it was so much fun adding in the little details like renaming the cocktails (which were delicious!). Having the space all to ourselves meant that we had all the freedom to make the hen party our own - especially as they were happy to let us decorate! The food was great as always too.

there was quite rude staff, did not make me feel welcome or comfortable, and then i was served a sub-par ice coffee with a dirty straw! this was rectified and i was given a new coffee from a nicer member of staff, but i was not offered a refund. the cakes were expensive for what they were. i will never go back.

£5.50 for a bacon sandwich with 2 yes 2 rashers of bacon. Don't mind paying that sort of price for quality. But trust me quality is not a word I'd use for my experience

One of our favourite places for casual coffee with friends. We usually go here during the weekend and it's pretty busy but there's fast turnover so you don't usually have to wait more than 10-15 minutes to get seated. The food is always on point with ingredients from local suppliers like Block & Bottle and Graze which guarrantee its top quality. It's also dog friendly which is nice and convenient for us! Highly recommended!

Nice atmosphere and playlists! There’s this Japanese word for “second home” - a place that is neither home or work, like a cafe or pub or library that one goes to for comfort. I think OKS does this exactly and it’s their concept. I like the burritos, full English, the club and the cinabuns. Must try the new bottomless brunch thing on wkds. Mostly, I am glad there’s a cafe that’s open until 7pm Thurs-Sat and reduced hours on certain public holidays (when everything else is closed). That’s public service!

Brunch was great, as was coffee. Really nice vibe and helpful and pleasant staff. Definitely will be back for an afternoon session.

Heard about the gluten free cinnamon bun on Facebook; came to try for myself and was not disappointed!! It was lovely! They warmed it up for me and everything! It's so wonderful when cafés make an effort to include people with allergies and intolerances. Hugely appreciated thanks 🥰

I enjoyed my American breakfast (2 sausages, 2x bacon, 2x harsh and 2 X thick fluffy pancakes( with syrups) you can add extras such as fried/pouch/scrambled eggs with extra cost Very accommodating - I asked for the ferrero rocher hot chocolate to be made as ferrero rocher mocha (extra cost) but it was really nice. My partner said the smoothie was nice There's limited free parking outside but there's restricted free parking around

An exceptionally great experience

Honestly I come here on a regular for my iced coffee and the staff are fantastic, kind and welcoming. Sometimes on a weekend I will get myself some food and honestly it is some of the nicest food I have ever had, highly recommend the chicken parm burger, elite taste buds only. Love working next door to them.

Food is nice but quite overpriced. Staff are a bit ignorant, a quick 'I'll be with you in a moment' goes a long way. Also why open at 9am? You miss custom from anyone passing on the way to work. Opening even at 8.30am would give you more coffee and breakfast to go business

Been here a few times as my friend is a regular and I can see why! Great tasting food, accomodating to any allergens, and friendly staff. Always enjoy coming here when I'm visiting Newcastle, so can't wait for the next visit!

I visit One K&S frequently throughout the yesr. Quite simply, it is the best place in Jesmond/Sandyford area for breakfasts, brunches and lunches. I suspect the early evening food is great too (yet to try it). The coffee is excellent too.

Absolutely perfect! Gorgeous food! I had a poached egg that was the best I've had, and the toast was so soft yet crispy! Amazing food, amazing service! The staff are lovely. And the atmosphere is great! The smoothie I had (raspberry, blueberry, and banana) was absolutely the best ever. You can really taste each fruit individually, absolutely gorgeous!!!!

The Kitchen One And Social has a comfortable vibe and it's lovely to sit in for the evenings. They open late on the weekends until 9pm the latest, including tapas and alcohol free gins for a tipple. It's warm and cozy to sit in even for evening meals and take outs. Which is lovely.

In a world where service is getting worse, these guys completely buck that trend. Jo, Gez and their friendly team make you feel at home whenever you walk in and they go above and beyond to give you a brilliant experience. Brilliant food, huge portions, top coffee, fairly priced, lovely surroundings, dog friendly and now an impressive new evening menu. Couldn't be better and one of our favourite places to go in the Toon. Keep up the great work Jo and team.

It was a drizzly Saturday and lovely to find this place . It was crowded but with a lovely vibe . They are dog lovers so my naughty labradoodle got some pats ! I have a smoothie and the wild mushrooms on sourdough . Good food and good prices !

It is a nice little coffee shop but they layout is a bit odd it appears to have too many tables crammed in. The coffee was alright but the place just lacked something but I can't quite put my finger on it. The staff were lovely and friendly

Grabbed a couple of tskr out coffees from here. Fresh ground and lovely. Even though it was busy, the staff were great, offering a seat while I waited and explained my dog was welcome inside. Food being served looked lovely, we will definitely be going back

We came because you had good gluten free options for the coeliac kiddo, so thanks so much for making her feel safe and feeding her so well. It's always reassuring when we're asked "is she coeliac?" And knowing you know the cross-contamination risk. I hadn't expected the salt beef sandwich to be as good as it was. Honestly it's the most perfect sandwich I've ever had and I'm going to be thinking about it for a long time. One of the best things I've ever eaten and I like to think I've got a good palette. Absolute beauty. The Eggs rancheros were enjoyed by husband, and smaller human loved the pancake and described it as combining the best bits of a pancake with the best bits of a doughnut. Oh, and the anecdote about the fish finger sandwiches made me weep. We will be back, and I'm sad we don't live closer! Thanks

Love this little cafe. Excellent options for dietary requirements that make it my go to for brunch/lunch in the NE. As someone who is both gluten and dairy free I have never had so many options to choose from on a menu. Thank you for being so inclusive Would highly recommend the full English, can't go wrong with it 👍

Excellent lunch as previous, I love this cafe. Great service and really nice interesting menu for all needs. I went with the New York themed shredded beef hot sandwich and it was superb, coffee alongside also great. Can highly recommend.

Not as we knew it pre covid when you could get a nice reasonably priced value for money lunch. Menu like many others you see around now eg Eggs Benedict, fish fingers in sourdough, Burrtos.Shakshuka. Prices quite high too. My two small sausages in a sandwich £6.00. Club sandwich £9.00. All lunch social items around £10.00. No longer a pop in for a lunchtime bite for us in the future unfortunately. Probably more geared to a younger clientele now. Only 3 customers in at lunchtime today. Staff very attentive and decor much improved.

We love this place and have been going for a number of years now. Recently had a bit of a redecoration but still the same amazing food and friendly staff.

Portions are quite generous, if anything too generous, coffee is great and the outdoors seating is nice - close to a busy street but it doesn’t get too noisy! There are alternative milks available which is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great brunch spot overall.

Popped in for my breakfast and had one of the best full English’s I can remember! The service was amazing and my server was very attentive and made sure I was taken care of the entire time! The lady, who I assume to be the manager, was very chatty to everyone as well which made the overall environment of the cafe feel comfortable and inviting!

Love this place! The recent refurb is lovely and I’m pleased to say the great atmosphere & the menu hasn’t changed too much. A great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even just coffee/tea & cake, with portions for bigger appetites & smaller plates too. Lots of vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options too.

Fantastic hangover curing full breakfast. Great staff who helped me through the menu and my many intolerances/allergies. 10/10 to the lassie on the till working through my hungover Scots as well, she made me feel very welcome. Added bonus of teeny tiny milk bottles with your tea too
