A lovely, cosy cafe situation in a beautiful area perfect for families. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, on my visit with my niece we were greeted by such a warm welcome with excellent service. I was also very appreciative of how they made my niece feel involved talking to her and asking her questions about what she likes and dislikes The selection of food and drink is very varied and the price is extremely reasonable Overall definitely a place to go for a cup of tea and bite to eat. I can see myself becoming a regular.

If you are lucky enough to have a moment to while away your day in one of kings roads victorian church yards of times gone bye, remeber to take a flask and sandwich's. I had high hopes on my visit and was left more than disappointed this time round. To give portico (aka the cave cafe)its credit Ive had a couple of good takeaway coffees and so naively throught a traditional breakfast would be too. It was not and likely not go back, except perhaps to use the church water facilities. However of intrigue is the vengful clairvoyant service which preempted my dissapoint and in turn was shunned unreasonably on my next visit whilst hesitating on a safe bet coffee. Decision made, Even after a raw egg and triple cook the sausage.

I attended Cafe Portico for lunch after having been shopping down the kings road with a few friends. We were served by the friendliest, loveliest ladies who were more than accommodating - even for my gluten-free, vegan friend. They have a range of options (hot and cold) for everyone and the food was delicious and beautifully presented - as well as the coffee! Luckily, it was a lovely sunny afternoon and we were able to sit outside and enjoy our food and drinks. I will definitely be a regular here from now on! See you soon ladies!!

I've been passed this place a few times but never when I needed lunch. They have a good selection of sandwiches, homemade soup and various hot dishes. I ordered an egg mayo baguette and had to wait while they backed the bread. It was very nice, served with salad and a bargain at £3.70. A large tea was good value at £1.50.

Was recommended this cafe by a nearby shop. Fresh ingredients, great friendly service, presentation and quality was very good too. The meat and cheese platter was superb and now I can hardly walk. Dog friendly too which was a bonus. Thoroughly recommend this!

I come to Café Portico at least once a week and I often take my meetings here. The cafe is located at the entrance of St Luke's Church, which provides a lovely calm atmosphere where you can eat inside or al fresco. The service is always great and very friendly. I feel like I am visiting a friend/family's house when I come here. There are lots of options for hot or cold food (they even provide gluten-free options) and they have delicious freshly made smoothies and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the area. I would definitely recommend stopping by and working your way through the menu!

Been here several times and the food is just beautiful and the staff are lovely. Prices are super reasonable for a café in Chelsea with the park just seconds away. Seats are inside and outside so good in the winter too. Would definitely recommend when near by.

I have been visiting Café Portico with my Mum once every 2-3 weeks for a bit of lunch between my mum's hospital appointments at the Royal Marsden. It was a lovely find when we first came across the small café inside the church with seating outside. We have had lovely food there and the Coffee is nice, they even do Soya. However on our 4th visit, we noticed the prices had gone by £1 , I even went on my phone to double-check the prices as I still had the photos from our previous visits but have not gotten around to doing a review until now. When my mum went into the church too order, she saw a notice about the prices HAVING to be increased. It is a shame because everything was at a reasonable price before. I was a bit torn on what to have this time because of the prices, however, in the end I opted for a Tuna Mayo Sandwich as I have had a sandwich once before and knew what to expect (or so I thought) I also asked if I could have a SIDE SALAD with my Sandwich and they said that was fine. My mum ordered the Jacket Potato with Chilli £6 , which came with salad and coleslaw. When the Sandwich came out I was a quite annoyed as I saw that my SIDE SALAD had actually been put in the Sandwich but that was not the main thing that annoyed me. The sandwich was like a kids sandwich cut into 4 squares? I thought it was going to fall apart when I picked it up. There was hardly any Tuna Mayo, it was just not good and really disappointed me. Nothing compared to my Coronation Chicken I had from here previously. My mum's Jacket Potato was ok but not as nice as before, if there was butter on the potato it must have been a slither. So they have increased their prices but does this also mean a decrease in food size and quality? We decided we would not be going back to the Church Café again and would much rather enjoy a nice freshly filled sandwich from the Friends café inside the Royal Marsden for only £2.50. Sorry Café Portico.

Brownie Box delivered brownies to my mum I ordered 2 days ago. I had a lady text me asking if I wanted to add a message to my order with no extra cost which was so sweet and made the present perfect.

I quite like the hot food available and it is very scrumptious! However, I would prefer if the food was a set price rather than done by weight! It is also quite expensive but it is high quality - you
