Response: 4.2 on Google, 3.3 on just eat with your highest review 4.4 on uber eats. You're right, absolutely nothing to improve on! Your response isn't very reassuring as a business. considering the fact I've been here multiple times before and never received service like it is very telling of the way it's gone downhill. The salmon was, in our opinion, not fresh. You may have taken it from the packet, but that doesn't guarantee freshness and as regular salmon eaters we can assure you it wasnt finishable. You have made a point of saying that you asked us how the food was; you literally threatened to hit the chef for burning the food! I wasn't going to sit and argue with you about food that was already tried, and from your response I am glad I didn't complain immediately. You seemed very aggressive in your tone, mannerisms, and your sheer attitude. Even the lovely serving lady walked off from you looking absolutely done with your attitude. That French toast was IN MY OPINION awful. Brioche is traditionally used and I've never ate at a patisserie/brunch resteraunt in which the French toast didn't even contain cinnamon. It's just poor food in my opinion. We ate and paid for the meal and gave our honest opinion about the experiences. The toilet doors were filthy, the entryway into the building was filthy and the only redeeming factor was the decor internally was very nicely done, hence the aesthetic inside was pleasing. Take the criticism as feedback like any good business owner, instead of feeling the need to defend yourself with good old Wikipedia that anybody can edit on a whim. As for the cappuccino I can absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt in my mind, tell you now that it wasn't a cappuccino. I am an avid coffee lover with a 1k pound bean to cup machine in her kitchen and I visit coffee shops daily. It was more like a latte than a cappuccino. Take yourself to any reputable coffee shop and compare it to yours and you shall see what I'm talking about. Like I said take the criticism with pride and use it to your advantage instead of feeling as though you have to justify the sub par food and drinks. FYI most reputable establishments update their menus seasonally with a set menu alongside it. I'm in the top 10 percent of Google food reviewers and have a 6k following on Snapchat so I think I have ate at enough places to give an honest review. The food wasn't good. The food was burned and had to also be taken back. The salmon wasn't very fresh, so it wasn't finished. They serve "French toast" but it's not. It's bread from the supermarket dipped in egg. French toast is brioche seeped in egg with sugar and cinnamon. The food was so basic and underwhelming, not very flavourful at all. The desi naan was about the tastiest thing and even that was underwhelming. The manager made a comment about hitting the chef that burned my food which I found hugely inappropriate. The cappuccino was watery and had very little froth, so definitely not a cappuccino. As a coffee lover it was the worst I've had I only drank it because I needed something to wash the food down with. I went here a few years ago and loved it. I'm so surprised it isn't up to par anymore. They definitely need a menu rehaul considering they don't even serve anything pistachio related in today's pistachio trending society. The entire menu was just bleh

Came in with family for a late breakfast, good size breakfast, ordered a tea pot thinking it will fill at least 3 cups, managed to get 1 and 3/4’s cup, service was overall great

Saj and frank greeted us at the door with the best customer service making us feel very welcome, the mocktails made by Lola were absolutely amazing best I’ve tasted In Bradford.we got the beef and chicken enchiladas wow they were delicious I 100% recommend this place to everyone

Went for the first time today, what a terrible experience. The toilets were in a very bad state. The man who took our order was friendly enough but seemed to be directing us away from what we actually wanted. He took our order writing everything down, when our order arrived it was different from what we actually ordered. We decided to eat it as we had to get back to work. He came over to ask is everything ok, we told him the issue and he just made a joke out of it. When we went to pay we told him we were disappointed to which his reply was "you ate it didnt you". Suffice to say we will not be visiting this place again. The food wasnt good some of it was only warm (not enough time in the microwave) and the man who took our order seems to need a lesson in customer relations. I visit a lot of places in the bradford area for breakfast / lunch, i have to say this is the worst place i have ever visited.

Such a beautiful timeless place, elegantly decorated. Takes you back to a different era. Spent my time going through their classic poetry novels at the back whilst waiting for our food. The staff are so attentive and happy to talk through the menu options, customer service is truly what brings you back to a place, and they’ve got it all in the bag here. Been here several times, can honestly say, had a pleasant experience each time. Last but not least, the food is lovely! So hearty and handmade with love you can tell. Places that exceed your expectations really do deserve that recognition & I do love this place ☺️ thank you for a great experience.

A lovely visit to cafe patisserie on a Saturday lunchtime and a order of meat and potato pie just hit the spot,the pie was so full of the most delicious meat in a really tasty gravy and good helping of buttery mash and additional gravy was beyond my expectations as I didn’t expect it to be home made but no frozen pie here was piping hot and so delish I’m definately coming back for another as long as it’s served by the lovely gentleman who took my order he really made my day very smiley and was so accommodating and helpful so thank you Frank I’m coming back tomorrow and I really do recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal reasonably priced and lovely and clean with outstanding service ..Yaz

Love this place! Come at least once a week and have been for a few years. The staff are always polite and the owners always carry a smile. I haven’t found another place in Bradford which offers what Cafe Patisserie does with the cross over of the menu. A must try!!

One thing I'd recommend getting no matter what is the Spanish Latte. Can't go wrong with that. The staff were lovely and respectful too. Food didn't take long to come out. Shakshuka was delicious.

The sweet chicken noodles were just not it. Chicken had a weird off smell and noodles felt like they were made from plastic. Told the waitress and she simply said I’ve just joined recently so I wouldn’t know how they taste. Erm maybe forward this complaint to your manager to start with? Oh! They also served burnt cheesy loaded fries and reassured us that that’s how they are supposed to be? I feel like this place is running just for the sake of it!

Cold food bad quality bad stomach after eating

Ordered 2 cheese onion quiche with chips and beans very disappointed with amount of chips given and beans for the price you pay the chips taste of what you buy from supermarket frozen chips and finally parking very limited with yellow double lines not busy dining place now I know why and never would return again

I ordered a Parmesan which was supposed to be the light of my day however when asked if I would like salad I prefered not to so I was expecting a sizzling hot none salad Parmesan and to my surprise I was given salad I am absolutely outraged to the fact that I have paid with my hard earned money which has been earned with blood sweat and tears to pay for a such degrading meal this has made me unfortunately have to consider not eating one again just wanted to let this cafe know that this is unacceptable and wanted to let your chefs know that they aren’t in the right field and should be cleaning the floors instead absolutely outraged fix yourself up this is a joke. And i nearly fell .

On a positive note Cafe Patisserie is spacious. The staff members are polite & the service is pretty good, can't really fault it. The biggest disappointment is the food & drinks. Food reminded me of school dinners from a bygone era that resembles slop. The shepherd's pie neither looked or tasted anything like what it should do. The vegetables given on side were clearly frozen & not fresh. The gravy was runny & like water. All the food was greasy inc the chips & tasted bland. The iced mocha I ordered had no ice & was topped with so much cream you couldn't taste anything else. Food presentation is lacking. Had high expectations when visiting this place, was left bitterly dissapointed at the end.

It was vile. The sauce was separated, it was tasteless and looked horrible. Did not taste like Mac and cheese at all. Do not waste your money!

Poor hygiene. Not impressed at all. Staff took plate back to replace bread on the same plate that had the moldy bread. Common sense re make the whole thing. Check your stock.

Made us wait with our children for sehri meal for 45 mins and when finally a table became available told us not taking any more orders! Asked to speak with management and management refused to speak with us saying their busy! Complete joke of a service, place needs to shut down! Id giv it 0 if it would let me!

Absolutely disgrace of a place, shocking staff members. I waited 25 minutes just to place an order when new customers were being seated and their order was taken first. Spoke to the staff at the till about someone taking my order only to get a reply ‘ go somewhere else if you not happy’ . Shocking and will not be visiting again.

Brilliant breakfasts. Price is great and portions massive. Poached eggs spot on!!!
