Always a go to for us the best quality gelato (ice cream for us commoners) in Exmouth by far and always served with a smiley team!!

As two couples we’d completed the fun RNLI WELLIE TRAIL and needed something light on the walk back into town. The cafe was spotlessly clean and bistro like with charming and very friendly staff who helped my GF wife choose a pair of bun like cakes. My traditional beef Pasti was delicious and the coffee excellent. What a great find / highly recommended.

Excellent gelato, almost as good as the real thing. I tried the pistachio and it was the best I've tried in the UK. Coffee was good too, and staff were friendly.

Dropped in whilst walking the Costal path for a decaf oat milk flat white today. One of the best I've had in a long time. Great price and lovely staff. Would definitely return.

Great place for coffee and cakes - particularly impressed by the cakes. Have made a mental noter to definitely call back for gelato in warmer weather.

Don’t bother the cappuccino is flat overheated and poor speed of execution so no training from the management and no choice of dairy milk!! Very disappointing

One of our favourite places in Exmouth. Coffee’s good for us. Ice creams are great for the kids. Great inside or out whatever the weather.

On a day out from Torquay with family, we happened across this delightful little cafe! We only wanted coffee but couldn’t resist the oversized pain au raisin! I wondered if they were too big but were so nice it didn’t matter! Staff were very friendly too, and it was very clean. Overall everything about the place said we must come back on our next visit!

I fancied a coffee on a walk round Exmouth beach and looked at the yummy desserts at the counter! Yes they are full of calories, yes they are the most expensive cakes I have bought but oh my god were they worth it! Yum Yum Yum & Yum again!

We are so happy to have found this lovely cafe that serves the most divine gelato. So many flavours to choose from and very generous scoops. Ferrero roche ice-cream was so delicious! Such a beautiful setting with quirky decor, stunning view of the sea and very friendly staff. The lady who served us - I believe was the manager - had such a lovely manner with our children, let them try couple of flavours before deciding and was very knowledgeable about the ingredients when we notified her of our kids allergies. They even make their gelato on site! We will definitely be coming back soon!

I have been a regular visitor to this wonderful cafe since its opening and I have to say how welcoming the staff are. It’s a real pleasure to have an amazing coffee in a stunning setting. Ramuna is very welcoming and no matter how busy she is she always makes time for a chat. Would definitely recommend to visit if you are lucky enough to be in Exmouth

OMG! I popped in to get an ice cream and a coffee. Very nice welcome, I chose 2 scoops, a mango, coconut and Yuzu and a pistachio. Fair to say it was the smoothest most delicious icecream I have tasted. Thoroughly recomend. The coffee was great too. Thank you.xx

Stopped for a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning at about 10am after a beach yoga class. It was a beautiful sunny morning and lots of people were around. There was a short queue for drinks, 4 members of staff at least, one of them taking orders and payments and only one on the coffee machine, literally making one cup at a time! I was told 5-10 minutes wait, and as people came in behind me they were starting to get told 10-15 minutes. I actually waited for 25 minutes for two cups of coffee. Oh and they don’t allow you to go and sit at your table, you have to stand and wait, all the customers crowded at the end of the room, next to the toilet door. I would have bought a pastry or croissant but at 10am on this busy Saturday, they had nothing left to sell.

Cycling through Exmouth and were looking for somewhere to stop for an icecream. We were actually heading to Seashore Icecreamery 100 metres away but husband wanted a coffee so we compromised and stopped here instead. And I'm so glad we did! Possibly the best icecream I have ever had (and I've eaten a lot). I had a two scoop cone (Banoffee Pie and Ferrero Rocher). £3.90. Both were delicious, super soft and slightly melted (as gelato should be) and very generous scoops. Husband had a flat white and a salted caramel slice (a very fancy looking patisserie thingie) and said both were great. Lots of outdoor seating with sea views. Really recommend for a treat.

We come here most weekends. The coffee and pastries are lovely here, however we were sad to see the regular staff that have welcomed us since they opened have now all left in the past week. The service today was very brusque, and we were told the loyalty card is now one stamp per order, rather than one per coffee, which reduces the appeal of the loyalty scheme considerably. They are clearly trying to recruit staff, and I hope they manage to find someone soon, as the stressed out temporary manager did not make for a relaxed experience.

I’ve been in to this place plenty of times, normally towards the end of the day, when my wife and I finish work, have a stroll down the beach and want to grab a coffee. Actually the coffee usually ain’t too bad. On 4 separate occasions now, the same member of staff serving us has been frankly rude. I’ll always give someone the benefit of the doubt, we all have a bad day at the office right, but the last time this week, I vowed not to give this place any more of my money. Also the cakes are naff. Dry, tasteless and overpriced.

Visited quite a lot last year. Yummy cakes. The custard tart being our favourite. Coffee good and of course great views. Unfortunately, our visit this time not so good — pastries prices have shot up to the point we couldn’t warrant treating ourselves! I know costs have risen but…. Coffee queue taking too long. And again too expensive for what was being served.

This was our first visit to Lyme Regis and after having a little look around we were all getting a little hungry so we decided to stop off at Jane's Cafe on the parade. There were five of us and we all shared two boxes of cheesy chips together, I can't comment on the drinks that the others had but the cheesy chips were very nice. Good position sizes although could have been a little bigger but the chips were nice and there was plenty of grated cheese on top - I expect it would have been even better if it was melted slightly! There were plenty of places to sit and eat with nice views over the beach. The only negative comment from a family member was that the staff were a little slow serving the drinks but the food was ready pretty quickly and it was hot which was the main thing! A good little place to stop for a quick drink and something to eat.....

One of the female managers is very hostile and has no manners. Walks around like a customer and dressed like one too. Doesnt bother with a smart appearance and attitude is no better. Not a great way to represent the company. All other staff look relatively smart and professional and always polite. Food- you get what you pay for and reliable! The layout is a bit crammed also but Wetherspoons have never been one for quality over quantity.

Breakfast was certainly an interesting experience. The incredibly friendly staff certainly had their own unique system of handling groups of over 4 people so you can imagine their delight when we arrived with a group of 20. Potential customers should be aware that you categorically must not order for yourself but through a middle party instead. If you try to order your own food or drink I suggest you speak to the responsible person in your party for them to relay your order to the very lovely rosey cheeked attendant at the till. In my case our responsible person was only 3 foot away from me but we made sure to follow the rules as to not cause an eruption of chaos in the kitchen. When I received my apple juice, I really admired its antique look. The sediment at the bottom and the out of date use by label really added to the chic worn vibe that this hip establishment embellishes by the bucket load. The cleaner is obviously very lucky and has had a long holiday, (possibly to another farm shop the costa del Sol). I say this as the building has acquired an impressive collection of cobwebs in their absence. Now the main event BREAKFAST!!! Everyone likes to start their day with a hearty meal, I feel the two members of staff whole heartedly agreed with me as they left a few extras in some of our food to make sure we didn’t go hungry. One fantastic long black hair that I’m sure is packed full of protein (looked like a moustache hair, but I’m not a barber). One no longer buzzing fly that gave my crispy bacon that extra crunch. I also stayed hydrated through the water that was served to me from a designer tea pot that had amazing tea colouring and stains within in. Once I had consumed my meal I made sure to use the toilet facilities to rid my ablutions apart from the skid marks and the mixtures of cobwebs and urine the toilets were delightful. In all it was an unforgettable magical experience. Shamefully I am stuggling to give it 5 stars and there was a small chip in the plate my breakfast was served on. 4 stars.
