Lovely fresh food . Fish lovely. Well behaved and dry dogs welcome. Outside and inside seating and an over spill indoors if needed . £13 for fresh Mackerel with sides and we felt well worth it .

Visited today with my husband and our dog. A simple menu which serves up freshly prepared lunch. We had the seafood platter which was delicious. Staff are very friendly and dogs are allowed in too.

Basic cafe on the quayside. Very fresh local mackerel, sea bass, pollack, crab, lobster when available. Cooked to perfection, eat inside or outside the quay and watch the boats. Home made ice cream to follow, hat more could you want.

Second visit here this year. Really fresh and simple food that is delicious. Last visit (May) we had pan fried mackerel and pan fried sea bass which we shred. This time the mackerel was sold out so both had sea bass. Simple pan fried fish with sautéed potatoes, salad and coleslaw. Amazingly tasty.

There were several gluten-free options, so had a lovely meal. I can fully recommend the fish and the gf brownie!

Our recent visit to The Chef's Table was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the meal surpassed our expectations. We opted for the exceptional tasting menu, and each course was a revelation. Every dish was beautifully crafted, and without a doubt, some of the best food we've ever had. The standout dishes were the squab and the scallops. The squab was cooked to perfection, with a deep, rich flavor, and the scallops were tender and bursting with freshness. The wine pairings were equally impressive, carefully selected to complement the flavors of each course. The atmosphere was refined yet comfortable and made the experience feel special without being overly formal. What truly set the experience apart, however, was the personal touch. The chef came to speak with us, taking the time to explain the inspiration behind the dishes and ensuring our experience was unforgettable. Overall, The Chefs Table is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in fine dining. Highly recommended for those who appreciate impeccable food, outstanding wine pairings, and superb service.

Had an unfortunate interaction with a staff member who was argumentative and rude. Won't be coming again as I have Complex PTSD and it triggered me
