One of my favs and definitely my most local favourite. Super friendly lovely staff. Good sized, fairly priced food, both lunch and snacks. Thank you.

Really cozy cafe with lovely staff, good prices and a large selection of food. The savoury food is great , I loved the coronation chicken jacket potato I had , and all the baked goods seemed homemade and good quality for a small cafe. Will be visiting again !

Happy new year to the cheery ladies at Cafe O. A very welcoming cafe that always remember my name & dogs name. My coffee is always hot and remembered. The massive choice of home made cakes that is well priced. 🙌 Don’t change. 🙏

Lovely café. The staff are so friendly and remember regulars' names and orders (and always welcome newbies!). They sell a wide range of delicious, indulgent cakes (the brownies are something else!) and lots of savoury food (ready to go from a cabinet or made to order). Always enjoy visiting the café and love the fact they serve iced coffee all year round!

The savouries seems fine, but the cakes are another story. Today I saw little black flies hovering over the cakes and some crawling on them, especially around the chocolate cakes. Forget the fact they are so expensive, this is not hygeinic and made me feel quite unwell. Luckily as they do cost so much I doubt many people will buy them, but it's just grim.

I have no issue with the savoury items, the price seems OK, but the cakes seem too expensive. The building used to be a bakery with really big and quite cheap cakes, but the cakes in this cafe are really expensive for their modest sizes ie. £2.50 for something that should realistically be priced at £1.50. I don't know how many cakes they sell, but there are always lots there late in the day and I think that if they were cheaper they would sell a lot more as they look tasty, but I can't justify forking out 2.50 for a small looking cake and I'm sure other's must feel the same. If this was in cental Brighton or a posh part of Hove then maybe they would sell at those prices, but not in this location.

Great little local cafe with lots of choice to eat in or takeaway. I regularly pop in for a coffee and a snack or a lunch (they can have cabinets of ready to eat food but also a menu they'll make up on-demand). Strongly recommend popping in if you're in Hangleton. It's been a lovely addition to the area since it opened last year.

Excellent welcome, excellent ambience and tasty food. However, where money is concerned, they're tighter than two coats of paint, for example, my iced oat milk latte costing £4.10 came in a SMALL glass (tumbler sized), which to my mind is unheard of for an iced latte. Usually one gets a tall glass for a iced latte. And I only got 8 VERY small quarters of strawberry on my pancakes. That's 2.6 very small pieces of strawberry per pancake. Simply not enough in my view.

Came in for Sunday lunch. First time visiting and won't be the last. Glad we did. Food was gorgeous and service was great. We was welcomed in by Rhys, he was so lovely and directed us to a great table with extremely comfortable seats. He was very funny and made us feel so welcome. We ordered at the Bar and was served by Ben. He recommended the best alcohol free beer for my driver and a cider for myself to enjoy in the beer garden after lunch inside. Thank you so much! Will be back again very soon!

Great little Costa shop. Have been here many times. Sadly, the staff have said that it is closing soon. A real shame and will be missed.

Food was delicious, the sauce that comes with the sea bass was amazing. And they substituted the House salad for the Caesar salad without complaint which I really appreciate. But it took over an hour to get any food to me from when I ordered to when I was served, and midweek that is bad. They apologised for it which is good, but I can't ignore how long service took. On the bright side they let me in despite being dressed as a hobo, so they don't discriminate.

First time ordering. Was excellent. Amazing dumplings and best hot and sour soup ever. Probably one of the best Chinese I’ve tried in Brighton.
