Every visit the staff are nice and helpful! We enjoy our weekly visit here. Drinks are hot! My daughter likes to wonder around and say hello to everyone- its never an issue and helps make it less stressful.

Bit of a tip - when a customer places an online order with a plant based alternative, maybe make sure they aren’t standing right there waiting to collect their order whilst you describe how disgusting the milk is and how it will have separated by the time it’s collected.

A regular stop for me now, staff always friendly and willing to have a chat, always clean surroundings A nice place to relax and chill with great coffee / almond croissants!

We like all the food for mid morning especially the sausage rolls. It is good for me with my rollator as there is space for it.

I often find the inefficient service in coffee shops very frustrating often with long queues.This was a completely different experience with two baristas both serving customers & both making coffee who were VERY efficient at dealing with the queue.Wonderful coffee & a Belgian Chocolate muffin with a nice buzzing atmosphere & a long overdue catchup with a good friend made for a great experience.

There is something really nice about this place. Friendly staff, customers always seem to say hello and swap news. Coffee is excellent, it is Nero’s after all. I really like it here, dog and child friendly, just a nice experience.

Baristas stroking visiting dogs and then serving food and drink to customers with NO handwashing in between! No thanks.

This is a welcoming coffee shop. Whilst part of a chain, staff are always friendly and dogs most welcome. WiFi makes it a good stop for a meeting or to catch up on emails. There is lots of choice n Devizes - this is ,y number 1.

We go here once or twice a week, and it is always an enjoyable experience. The young cheerful staff are always welcoming, and the seating informal and comfortable. And I don't even like coffee much! Highly recommended (especially the apricot croissants!).

I meet a colleague here every few months and we find it ideal. Decent drinks, nice cheerful staff, ability to sit and sip maybe 2 cups each over 60-90 minutes along with comfortable seating- what’s not to like? What it does - it does well.

I dared to say “pardon?” to the barista when he asked me something at high speed so he repeated it in a loud, slow and condescending manner “WOOOOUUULD YOOOOOUUU LIIIKEEE ANNNNYYYY CAAAKESSS OR PAAASTRIESSS TOOOODAAAY?” Even the embarrassed man in the queue beside me said “he must have had a long day”. If I hadn’t have been using a loyalty voucher anyway I’d have told him to stuff his coffee, especially as I was going to have to clear my own table to sit down! Needless to say, he saved me the cost of an Almond Crossaint! It’s the first CN I’ve ever used that has rude staff.

They do a rainge of hot and cold drinks and light sacks . Great service . They welcome dogs . A great place to take children friends or to just chill out on your own with a news paper .

Wonderful place to go for a cup of coffee, a light bite and relaxation. The coffee is great, the wifi is constant and free. These is a good selection of pastries and there is no hassle.

This Cafe Nero branch had more of a tourist vibe than the normal anonymous Cafe Nero ... the staff smiled and mans best friend was permitted too, nice touch

Fuimos en día de mercado 19/01/2017. Qué lugar tan encantador limpio. Mesas fueron aclaradas poco después fueron desocupado y limpiado correctamente. La planta fue impecable. El 2 de capacitación fueron educados Baristos, alegre y servicial. El otro asistente estaba lleno todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí, ayudando a los chicos detrás del mostrador y liquidación cuando sea necesario. El café era bueno también! .

He visitado un par de veces con mi pequeña un martes por la oferta 2 prioridad. Siempre servicial que llevar nuestras bebidas más mientras yo buscaba una trona para mi hijo. Hacen un poco babycinno para bebés, pero esto es siempre un poco demasiado caliente...

El café es bueno pero el personal (algunos bastante rígido) necesitan repasa su actitud con los clientes - más interesado en charlar a sus colegas.

After a night up with the little one, nothing beats a nice Nero coffee and freshly baked pain au raisin! The staff are always friendly and efficient whilst serving!

What a lovely peaceful place to drink tea and watch the world go by! Quiet, unobtrusive music and friendly helpful staff - and the Earl Grey was pretty good too... :)I usually avoid coffee shop chains like the plague, but this one really surprised me. I would definitely go again.

Had a lovely coffee break here . Out door seating also if required.In the Main Street of Devizes, makes a perfect break. Prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend it.

The coffee is superb and delicous, The Little ones enjoyed their hot chocolate. No cake this time but looked nice. next time we will.

We visit Nero's for coffee every time we come to Devises and it is a good place for coffee. The snacks are the same that you get in every Nero's very boring as same old thing that you get in every coffee shop. Very dog friendly which is great, the staff are friendly enough but prefer the staff at Andover.

We go here most weeks and always get a freindly smile and service. You can take dogs inside as well as sit outside with them. Great for people watching especially on market day. Good coffee and cakes.

If you looking for relaxing coffee in afternoon this place is best . Not much problem for space and you can relax there coffee in afternoon . Very clean and staff was very nice . Over all a decent coffee shop recommend this place 10/9 .

I was greeted warmly by one of the staff members, who made me a cup of peppermint tea, we had a pleasant conversation about peppermint tea and not putting milk in! There was a good choice of newspapers and a designated areas to put plugs in for my lap top.Toilets cleaned to a high standard. Overall a nice ambiance.

This is very standard fare. You know what you are getting with Nero. Reasonable food and drink, stand décor etc and unfortunately no waitress service. Always have to wait for ever for drinks in these types of places. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly and helpful and for that the experience was positive

I just had a hot chocolate, it came with mars mellows and cream. It had a steady trade throughout the afternoon, with plenty of plug sockets if you want to go on your laptop or charge a phone. The staff are friendly and always busy.

There are privately-owned coffee shops in Devizes which in my view are better and far more worthy of my business, so although I live quite near I have only this once, and that at the suggestion of the person I was meeting.It's a Cafe Nero, what else can you say? You know what you're getting because it's the same as every Cafe Nero anywhere. I use them when travelling and they're convenient - but in Devizes? Naaah. Be adventurous, try a privately owned place in the town!

I have been in a couple of times and on each occasion I have found the tables to be dirty with the previous users mess still on the table and food all over the floor, the service was also poor

Friendly service of the usual variety at Café Nero. Staff are slow at clearing tables so you may end up doing it yourself!

Iced coffee and cake both served with a smile! The cafe/restaurant was clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming and cheerful.

È l' unico vero bar italiano che ho incontrato all'estero. Il locale è grande e molto bene arredato. Si sente solo il profumo del caffè,molto buono, e delle brioches. Vendono anche altri dolci e cioccolatini ma niente di salato, tipo burger. Questo spiega la deliziosa fragranza dell' ambiente. Sono di parte, ma personalmente faccio fatica di mattina ad entrare in luoghi in cui l'odore di caffè si mescola a quello dei fish and chips

We live 2 miles from centre of town so walk in as part of our dog walk. The dog is always welcomed here and the staff always friendly. Seating outside so you can people watch. Sit outside Thursdays when the market is on and listen to the buskers. Nice cakes too.

Nero's is always pleasant with great coffee, quick service and tasty offerings. This is a typical great place to take a break in your day. This time it was very crowded given it was market day, but the staff was adept at moving the line so the wait was not onerous. Thanks again, Nero's!

This is a lovely friendly place that does great coffee. The ambience and people make it a joy to be there. I love the comfy sofa chairs.

By far the best coffee shop in Devizes. Excellent quality coffee time after time. Courteous, friendly, happy staff each time we visit. A blessing (especially in winter) that we can take our well behaved dog inside.

I haven't been in there but only because according to our local paper it was being fitted out before they had planning permission. There is so much of this going on these days so I cannot support them.

Me and my friend went for coffee with our daughters on Saturday morning between 10-11am. I'm understand was busy at the shop but putting smile on the face cost nothing! The girl who served us hearing we are not English didn't even try to be nice. I've ordered some hot chocolate for my little girl but women could be bother if I would like any cream on top, and we end up with cream on top which my daughter hate! Stuff at Nero in Devizes should be given better customer service even somebody is different nationality. Won't be going back again it's lots of nice places to go for coffee in Devizes.

I really can't see why places like this exist. The coffee is awfully expensive and awfully crap. So are the cakes and biscuits. How do they remain so popular? Why is it always full?And why do they feel the need to put tables and chairs outside causing traffic jams on an already busy and congested pedestrian route?Avoid.

my daughter and I called in for a quick coffee while shopping and was sadly disappointed. The coffee was bland, the hot chocolate was cold and tasteless. Every table was sticky and dirty. Won't be going back if I'm ever in the area again.

I am quite the coffee addict and frequently grab a drink on my way to work from another reputable coffee chain in town. I have to say I was unimpressed with the my latte when I tried this place - it was tepid, the cup was only two thirds full (discovered when removing the lid of my take away cup) and service took forever. I'll give it another try as the barista may just have been having an off day.

I was a frequent user of this coffee shop. I however no longer go in. Since the original manager has left the standards of customer service have been appealing. The two or three times I have been on and served by new people they have been sullen, sour faced and one was just plain dam rude (I believe she is the new manager) the coffee standards have fallen significantly. From two of the best bristas in town to having no one able to make a cappuccino. Disappointed to say the least. Caffe Nero is by far my favourite coffee brand but the Devizes branch is far from what should be affected. Avoid at all costs. The new costa is by far better

When in Devizes, usually go here for a nice coffee and something light to eat.Clean, tidy and stylish surroundings with a few tables outside also.Good choice of coffees and one of the few to offer chocolate and cinnamon sprinkles as well as cinnamon syrup.Nice range of light snacks.A good place to chill when shopping!

Quite friendly welcome from staff, coffee would have been better if it had been hot. Nice pastries. No loo paper even though they claim to inspect the loo about 6 times a day - pity they don't check the loo paper. Plenty of other places in Devizes for coffee so we won't be going back.

I reckon this is the best coffee in Devizes (and there's an awful lot to choose from!) Nothing else to say but there's a minimum of 100 characters!

I love caffe NeroBeen to Bath/Gunwharf Quays/Salisbury/Bristol/Marlborough/Chippenham Neros as well.With this being my local I love it!Warm smile and a hello is always a good start.Good for going on your own/family time/visiting with your lived one.My favourite is milkshake vanilla or chocolate AND squinty cream :0 so happy :)Clean tables, the only negative I would mention is the loo gets used a lot and the staff should pay attention to a quick check of the loos and a wipe around of the sink and toilet bowl area and little mop up of floor.Staff are lovey, always happy to assist but going that extra customer service and valuing the customer.

...of which I'm one. I love Cafe Nero, I think its the best chain by miles and often (though of course not always), also better than local independents. I can't tell you how happy I was to see them open here in Devizes, but boy has it been a disappointment. The other disgruntled reviewers have got it spot on; the staff are just awful; too bone idle to be actually rude they simply act as if we are inconvenience, desperate, it seems to me, for each and everyone to leave. No smiling hellos here if you drop by each day before or after work (Cheers this isn't!). Oh and God help you if you have a child with you and you spill a drink-just hope the wrong member of staff isn't around when that happens, out comes the yellow "wet floor" triangle and out come the Grumplestilskins throwing lots of disapproving looks. My little group of friends sit down each time we visit and wonder why we still go there. And why do we? Well, we don't anymore. Never thought I'd say that about CN.So, Cafe Nero, great chain in my opinion but of all the countless branches I've been in this is by far the worst. If you are visiting our nice little town, look elsewhere. In Devizes its the independents that have the atmosphere now.

A large coffee shop with a range of seating, coffee is good but standard with a range or packaged food available. The atmosphere is what you want to make of it, a good place to have a chat and a catch up but I wouldn't linger there for the ambiance. What lets it down for me is the staff, it may be there too busy but often I feel I'm just a number with little interest in customer service besides the obligatory P&Q's, the girl who seems to be the manager has often served me and gives me the impression that I'm a nuisance and stopping her from doing her work! But otherwise once your seated especially if your lucky enough to get the one sofa an overall satisfactory experience.

The menu is the same as offered in every Cafe Nero but this outlet lacks lighting, both natural & electrical. It also has no atmosphere. So the experience is not appealing & doesn't inspire to go back again.

We have visited this Cafe Nero on more than one occasion, both at busy times and near closing and found the premises to be clean and tidy and always welcoming, with regular customers enjoying their coffee! The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We have enjoyed fresh pastries and lattes in good company here and urge you to do the same.

Very quick service for warming coffees and snacks-nice comfortable chairs-good selection of food. A nice place for a break after market day shopping. Nice staff and fair prices :)

Horrid! Don't go here. The staff have a "couldn't careless attitude, rude and unfriendly. T My coffee was cold and when I took it back It was exchanged with great reluctance. The tables were not very clean and our's was sticky.here are plenty of other cafe's in Devizes so go to them and NOT to cafe minus Zero!

On tuesday 5th February a friend and i visited the Devizes Cafe Nero in our lunch break. It was fairly busy so i suggested my friend find a table while i ordered our drinks..The customer in front of me was being served so while i was waiting i selected a muffin from the open fronted display and placed it on the counter top.What happened next was extremely embarassing.A second member of staff appeared . Rather than ask me for my order she stated( in a voice loud enough to be heard by other customers) "next time you come in here dont select your own cake, its a sneeze risk. I was made to feel like a naughty child. If the cakes are not self service then the cabinet should not be open fronted or at least have a sign. The customer next to me was also clearly uncomfortable at the way the member of staff had humiliated me, Needless to say there will not be a "next time". I feel the staff member enjoyed her moment of power at my expense . The whole episode left me dumbstruck and a little upset. I shall be advising friends and family to choose one of the other many coffeee shops in Devizes in future.

My second visit to this new opening in Devizes was last Saturday. I shall not return. My first the coffee was cold, service funereal. The second, well it was 0830 Saturday morning in Devizes and very quiet. The decor and seating in Cafe Nero here is nice and relaxing so my wife and I took the plunge. The member of staff who served us was aloof and appeared to have been out late the night before. Straight away I could see the floors were dirty, marked and the "wet floor" yellow warning sign placed next to the till a bit of a joke. The coffee was alright but the tables were absolutely filthy, many of the chairs had food remnants in them including icing sugar. No way had this cafe been cleaned properly. The local independent coffee shops in this small market town have nothing to fear from the big boys. Avoid.
