Menu is over priced for what you get snd the set menus are very ague not mentioning how many of each item you get. £8.50 for a breakfast consisting of a measly - 1 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 hashrbowns a single egg and luke warm beans. Toast not even included. As a minimum for this to be worth the value they should be serving 2 sausages and including toast. The brekfast does include a tea or coffee which cost about 26p to make and i feel they add this on to make the price seem more reasonable. The table sauces are cheap knock offs not branded. Would not come again and would not recommend

Great little hidden cafe, just a short drive from The Stonehenge Inn. We called in two days running, as the Inn we stayed at, didn't do breakfast. Their breakfast is to die for, and very reasonably priced.

We stayed at Stonehenge Inn and they did not offer breakfast, so I found this place in an online search. It was only a mile or so away. A bit difficult to find, because it is tucked away in an alleyway with a small parking lot. On Saturday, May 27, 2023 we were the 1st customers at 7:30 AM. This is a small place with 6 or so tables. You order from the menu posted above the kitchen, then they bring it to your table. The BF menu items are all numbered, as in "Set 6" which I ordered. Egg, Beans, Sausage, Ham, Hash Browns and Coffee. Reasonably priced for 8.50 ( $10.80 USD). Walls are covered with pictures of cars and motorcycles. Nothing really special, just good enough to satisfy an appetite.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area . Spent 2 days at the Stonehenge inn and the manager recommended the Cafe metro for Breakfast (also very good choice of menu for Lunch/ dinners ) All freshly cooked and excellent service and at a very reasonable price . There are many choices of cooked items on offer with various combinations in the 6 sets of cooked breakfast. With the flexibility of mix and matching . The complimentary Tea/ Coffee is a bonus ( MUGS not cups is even better) . Will certainly be returning

Called in at 8am on a Sunday morning while walking the Great Stones Way. We were met with smiles from the friendly staff, ordered our breakfasts from the extensive menu and were soon tucking into a superb and delicious spread. We ordered drinks and were pleasantly surprised to find these were included in the extremely reasonable meal prices. They do sandwiches, baked spuds and loads of things other than breakfasts. Altogether a great little find and thoroughly recommended if you are in the area.

Amazing breakfasts! Although the breakfasts are set on the menu, you can alter it to how you want it, swap items for ones you like etc.. very happy staff and always give a warm welcome. Can also ring up and place your order to go and collect.

I thoroughly enjoyed my set breakfast number 6 today, staff were lovely to us and food came quickly, hot and my hash browns were crispy and delicious

This is one of the very best Cafes you could ever hope to find in the South of England. It is located just a mile or so from the A303 leaving at Amesbury. What a fantastic find. The food was awesome and there was bag sof it. The meals were delivered piping hot. The place is kept spotless by hard working staff that are polite and helpful. This Cafe is run by amazing people, they are the most friendly genuine Cafe owners who have a passion for Customer satisfaction. This little Cafe is not that well known about but it's getting much busier, or at least it was when the lockdown started. Get in there fast when food places re open this Cafe is a right little gold mine find. I am only writing this review because it reflects how I personally fell and I am absolutely overwhelmed by the genuine and generous owners aptitude. It's the best I have found in a very long time and there are not enough words to describe it to its fullest. Give it try.

Been a few times. Never disdisappointed and stuffed for the rest of the day lol, busy place and sometimes unable to get a seat which would tell you thay others like it too.

Can be busy with all the trades due to works in all the army camps but great when a greasy spoon will do.

I would definitely recommend this cafe the breakfast is amazing good value money the bubble and squeak is amazing well done to all the staff lovely fresh food made to order fab job

We were already about to leave, as the Cafe was still locked at 08:10 am, although the opening hours suggested that it should have been opened at 8:00. Finally somebody appeared who prepared a very good breakfast for us. The place is small but obviously very much visited also by locals. The food was good at a reasonable price. We can recommend going here!

No frills cafe. Clean, friendly and excellent value for money. Hot tea, good sized portions of freshly cooked food. Easy parking and fast service. Highly recommended.

A work colleague just got the buttys in. Metro Cafe's bacon butty is like no other, served in a ciabatta. What a treat. It's the Vorderman of bacon buttys.

Visited on numerous occasions. Great service, cheap and cheerful but don't be put off by this. The food is excellent.

love the breakfast here, eggs bacon and bubble, coffee amazing a lot better than costa down the road. staff always friendly , cafe always clean, a five star greasey spoon, love it

Big tasty breakfasts in all manner if combinations for low prices. If they've not got the b'fast combi you want just ask. Always full because it's so good. Parking can be a pain but worth it. Large selection of meals all day long - visited loads of times and never been disappointed. I travel past 2 'all you can eat' places to get there and it's worth it for the quality. Clean, cheap, no frills, v tasty, big eats.

Very good food and a nice inviting cafe. Lots on offer at a good price. Lots of choice and plenty of seating.

Food is fab always piping hot and fresh. Kid friendly (they love their milkshakes). Portion sizes are quiet big very good for the value of money. They do a good Latte

I work next door to cafe so i pop in for a bacon and mushroom roll from time to time also drain them of hot chocolate in the winter. These guys are great nothing is to much trouble for them and if im busy they bring the food to me. The food is great the guys are great and the prices are great. Thumbs up from me . Nikki x

Really good basic all day breakfast type foods. Very large portions - I swear I had a whole tin of baked beans!! BTW My egg was not fried in a ring and was cooked perfectly. Would definitely go again. Tea or coffee included in the price of the meal.

Always good value for money, always hot and freshly cooked. You get what you pay for which is important. All the food is freshly cooked. We have been several times on a weekly basis and never been let down yet, we bring our families and friends who are always happy and satisfied, the bacon ciabatta is exceptional. I work with food everyday, I would not go to a "transport caff" and expect Michelin star meal (wild boar sausage, quail egg served on a piece of toasted brioche, the coffee is instant which is labelled on the menu and clearly visible. it is what it is BUT they do it extremely well.

Breakfast not good value for money, soggy fried bread. Poor quality ingredients given price versus alternate venues. Was not a nice experience. Fried egg (in ring) not cooked in the middle. No hash brown just some poorly derived (& seasoned) instant potato bubble and squeak. Instant coffee. Better options available locally. Disappointing cafe, probably OK for lunch sandwich but given proximity to Tesco Express, I would go for a known quantity.
