Cafe Lokum in Lewisham

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in London. Staff were great, food was exceptional, incredible value for money. If you’re in the area go.

This is a lovely family run cafè, offering a great selection of food. Never disappointed with the quality of food or the great relaxed friendly service. The coffee is better than the big chains. Highly recommend this local cafè.

My friend Charlie and myself have been using Cafe Lokum for years now going once a week for what used to be a great breakfast However they advertise their breakfasts with bacon but have switched from real bacon to turkey bacon which neither of us liked. If you are using turkey bacon on your breakfasts then on your menu it should state that is what it is. Unfortunately we no longer use the Lokum and yes we miss it but what’s the point of eating a breakfast you don’t enjoy Bring back real bacon 🥓and ham (that’s turkey as well) and we’ll be back until then we are eating elsewhere 😩👍 Robert

Love this friendly cafe,food is very tasty with a vast array of choices,staff welcoming and helpful at all times .We visit often and our children and Grandchildren love to visit and eat here with us .

I often visit this cafe with my nan for lunch and have never had a bad experience. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, great selection of meals and efficient service every time. There is also an open kitchen which is always spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend :)

Had a nice omelette here served with fresh salad, plus a latte. Food and coffee is very good. I wasn’t aware that you need to read the menu on the wall and help yourself to cutlery. Guy who served me was not the most patient but appeared to have all the time in the world for regulars. Waitress a bit more friendly. Maybe I’ll try another café next time I’m working in the area.

I visited Cafe Lokum today with a friend. I couldn't decide which salad to have so I was offered to try an egg, bacon and red onion salad. It came nicely presented and the bacon gave a lovely saltiness (no too much) to the egg mayonnaise and the sprinkling of red onion over the top added flavour. This salad will be on the menu from the beginning of January. It made an lovely change. Thank you for letting me try it.

Terrible service, my order never arrived and when called didnt want to deal with the issue. I would avoid this restaurant at any cost. Terrible service dont care about customers. The person on the phone was rude

We have recently used Café Lokum for various lunch needs for our school, usually for only a few people. All have been lovely but we were particularly impressed with the recent lunch for our whole staff – 140 in total. Hassan provided a varied selection of sandwiches, home-made chicken, lamb and vegetable samosas, home-made dolmades, salad platters with feta cheese, crisps, fruit platters and a variety of cakes. Everyone loved it. There was plenty to go round, with some left over for the next day! It was all fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. Hassan delivered it personally, on time, and the whole process couldn’t have been easier.

A large group of us from work dropped in on a Saturday morning not realising this super Cafe had changed hands , The decor appears the same friendly enough welcome However they were clearly inundated and there was a struggle to get us all served slightly smaller portions , no top up of hot drinks , Obviously very disappointed previous owners have sold up We will have to wait and see how this develops ,

I went yesterday to Café Lokum with my wife, son and two small grandsons. we had an excellent lunch, with Smoothie drinks that both kids enjoyed a lot. I'd especially recommend their toasted paninis. Super place, friendly staff, really clean toilet for the kids. Keep it up!

I visit Cafe Lokum regularly with a friend. The staff are very friendly and get to know your preferences. Service is excellent, portions are generous, food is good and it's exceptionally clean. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Perfect for lunchtime.

Another lovely lunch, we are always greeted like old friends, the cafe is always buzzing especially at lunchtime. The service is prompt and they always have daily specials .it's my favourite cafe in Lee will be back soon
